The guys are in the studio and kick things off with a recap of the "Stewart National Society" (SNS) event from Saturday and are (finally) joined by special guest, Justin "J-Hopp" Hoppock to recap his stellar 2021 golf year!  Is it better than the "Tiger Slam"?  We'll let you, the listener, make that decision... After the shenanigans, the guys recap what was a stellar East Lake Cup for both in-state schools, as the OSU women cruise to a big win over Duke, while we had Bedlam on the men's side with OU edging past the Pokes 3 - 2 to take home the prestigious trophy!  Here's hoping it's a preview of things to come next May out in Scottsdale!  The guys then spare a few minutes for the "Butterface" Bermuda Championship, and then move on to talk about the fun they had in Norman last week with the OU Women's golf squad at their annual "Shot in the Dark" event to raise funds for the Red Tee Club.  J-Teal finally wins a long drive contest (in the dark, when no one could see), so it was a special night for all involved!  All that, and so much more on this week's YSO podcast!

The boys are all back together in "Studio 1A" to talk some golf!  Things get kicked off by recapping some links golf across the pond at the Dunhill and how Ryan Fox survived some tough conditties on Friday and held off Rory, Alex Noren and a robust Euro field!  Next, the guys discussed the victory by everyone's favorite Canadian, Mac Hughes, down at the Sanderson this weekend in Jackson, MS!  And later on, the guys checked in on some big-time college golf being played in the DFW area this week, as Wichita State was at Trinity Forest, while the OU and OSU men were in a star-studded, jacked field at Colonial and the Ben Hogan Invitational!  But this pod was mainly about the Congregation, and the YSO family came out big winners as our man, Scotty G, slipped on his first green jacket in Woodward at one of our favorite places, Boiling Springs!  The boys talk through the whole weekend, including some night golf, great food, and all the superlatives of yet another fantastic Congregation tourney!  Tons of thanks to Jeff Wagner and the BSGC crew for rolling out the red carpet yet again, as the only thing better than the course conditions were the people involved!  We're already looking forward to next year's Cong, just like always!  All that, and so much more on this week's YSO podcast!!!

It's bracket season people, and the YSO podcast is ready as the guys make their "Cinderella" picks (sort of, Scott), final foursomes and so much more on this action-packed episode!  First though, the guys recap some "Bedlam Golf" action as both the OSU and OU squads faced off against each other in some desert golf action this past weekend!  OSU came out on top in the Bedlam portion of things, while the OSU men took home the trophy in an absolute boat-race in the N.I.T. out in Tucson with a record-breaking score of -53!!!  Eugenio kept his spring hot streak going as well, as he took home top medalist honors!  The OSU women finished 3rd in the Mountain View Collegiate, just edging out the Sooner ladies who finished in 4th... The guys then recapped the Valspar as JT "Debbie Downer-ed" the whole event, despite Sam Burns dramatic win on the 2nd playoff (PLAYOFFS?!?!?) hole over Davis Riley and his smooth swing... But a lot of time is dedicated to the WGC Match Play event this week down in Austin, Texas, and given it is "bracket season", the guys make their picks and predictions for each of the 16 four-man groups!  Can Billy Ho repeat? The guys show some love to the ever-dominant, yet often-not-discussed JYK as she continues to lap the field on the LPGA tour, and then they jump into some college golf, with a lot of discussion focused on the OSU Cowgirls, who lost a second superstar to the transfer portal last week in Mexico's Isabella Fierro.  The OU men get their due as they win their 3rd event in a row, and get their 2nd medalist in a row, in Patrick Welch, out in Vegas last week! And speaking OU men, how 'bout Chris Gotterup down in Puerto Rico (again), and former Sooner Max McGreevy showing out as well! UK correspondent Hannah Screen joins the pod with Scooter and Keith off exploring the golf world. Rory McIlroy re-ascends to world #1 with his victory at the CJ Cup.
