25 Apr 2020First Round Recap: Burrow to Cincy, Dak gets another weapon and CEH, omg00:58:51

Well, Round 1 of the first virtual NFL Draft is in the books. There were a few trades, but nothing completely eye-opening. Considering this draft set something of a precedent for the NFL, it actually went pretty smoothly ... for everyone but Aaron Rodgers. Liz Loza and Matt Harmon give their takes on Round 1 of the draft in the latest fantasy football podcast.

[Create or join a 2020 Yahoo Fantasy Football League for free today]

It was a Round 1 full of defensive players and offensive linemen, but we had a few key fantasy-relevant picks as well. Liz and Matt analyze and deliver their thoughts on the team fit and fantasy expectations for the quarterbacks, wide receivers, and one running back to be picked on the first day of the NFL Draft:

Joe Burrow (Cincinnati Bengals) (08:30)

Tua Tagovailoa (Miami Dolphins) (11:30)

Justin Herbert (Los Angeles Chargers) (15:30)

Jordan Love (Green Bay Packers) (20:20)

Henry Ruggs III (Las Vegas Raiders) (28:04)

Jerry Jeudy (Denver Broncos) (31:42)

CeeDee Lamb (Dallas Cowboys) (37:56)

Jalen Reagor (Philadelphia Eagles) (43:18)

Justin Jefferson (Minnesota Vikings) (48:30)

Brandon Aiyuk (San Francisco 49ers) (50:14)

Clyde Edwards-Helaire (Kansas City Chiefs) (55:00)

Who was your favorite pick in Round 1 from a fantasy perspective?

06 May 2020The immortal Frank Gore, Best Ball draft recap, and is AG the new CMC?00:50:26

The year is 3042. In a future incredibly different from our present, Frank Gore rushes for another touchdown.

Okay so he’s not that old, but his longevity does make one wonder about Gore’s potential immortality, as it was announced that he would be signing with the New York Jets.

Matt Harmon is joined by Dalton Del Don to discuss that signing and much more in the latest fantasy football podcast.

[Create or join a 2020 Yahoo Fantasy Football League for free today]

Now that Gore is a member of Gang Green, should we as fantasy players be worried about Le’Veon Bell? (02:30)

Speaking of running backs, Washington head coach Ron Rivera made quite the statement recently, saying rookie Antonio Gibson “has a skill set like Christian McCaffrey.” Soon, we’ll find out that Antonio Gibson is already in the best shape of his life, has lost 20 pounds, and has put on 30 pounds of muscle. (06:41)

Elsewhere in the NFL, the fifth-year option wheel began to turn, as both the Bears and Titans declined to pick up the options of Mitchell Trubisky and Corey Davis, respectively. (10:37)

Oh, and Andy Dalton signed with the Dallas Cowboys like we all suspected he would. (23:15)

To wrap things up this episode, our experts recap what they learned recently from a 10-team Best Ball draft. (27:33)

20 Oct 2021Week 7 Betting Preview: Bye-mageddon & three double-digit dogs00:53:46

Six teams are on bye this week, including the Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Bills & Los Angeles Chargers, causing confusion and mass pandemonium amongst fantasy managers. Thankfully, today's Wednesday betting podcast focuses on the teams that are playing this Sunday.

Nevertheless, Scott Pianowski & Frank Schwab kick off the show marveling at a few of last week's games & all of the firepower that happens to be taking the week off this Sunday. Later in the show, they take a gander at the spreads for each of Week 7's matchups. How will the battered Cleveland Browns hold up giving 3.5 points to the Denver Broncos on Thursday night? Can Frank's Indianapolis Colts get into form as an underdog in San Francisco on Sunday night? What should bettors do with the three double-digit underdogs this weekend?

Scott & Frank dive into all those questions and more on today's podcast.

17 Nov 2020Week 11 Pickups: Return of Jameis Winston00:47:25

As we barrel towards the fantasy playoffs, Scott Pianowski and Andy Behrens are here to tune up your lineup before a championship run.

Is it Jameis Winston time? With Drew Brees out for a stretch, the guys are going all-in on Winston in a couple of leagues at the quarterback position.

New England Patriots breakout stud Jakobi Meyers is your waiver priority for the wideout spot. Andy and Scott have a few more names to target as well.

Pickup options at the tight end and running back positions are very bleak. Let the guys parse through the junk pile and recommend a few players that could save your season.

26 Jan 2021Conference Championship recap and early Super Bowl odds00:52:32

Andy Behrens, Matt Harmon and Scott Pianowski are here to recap the Conference Championship Round of the NFL Playoffs and preview Super Bowl LV on the latest episode of the Yahoo Fantasy Football Forecast!

First up, the guys discuss the results of the weekend’s AFC and NFC title games. After their losses in their title games, what will the Packers and Bills do in the offseason? Can Josh Allen retain his otherworldy leap into the game’s top quarterbacks? Could Aaron Rodgers actually leave Green Bay? Will the Packers front office be willing to find him one more receiver?

We’ll also talk about the latest moves in the quarterback carousel, looking at where Matthew Stafford and Deshaun Watson could land.

And before we get out of here, we preview the early lines from the Super Bowl matchup of the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

As usual, this week’s odds are courtesy of BetMGM.

20 Apr 2021What team win projections can tell us about the 17-game 2021 season00:55:35

Casinos around the country have released their win projections for the seventeen-game 2021 NFL season. Scott Pianowski welcomes Sammy Reid of RotoGrinders onto the podcast to look through the odds and try to find some value, but not before tipping their hats and saying happy trails to Alex Smith and Jordan Reed, who both announced their retirements this week.

Looking at the win over/unders provided by BetMGM, do the guys find value in Vegas setting the bar for the reigning NFC East champion Washington Football Team at 8 wins? What do they make of the gridlocked top of the AFC North with the Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers all vying for supremacy in one of the league's toughest divisions. The Houston Texans currently have their total set at 4.5 wins; is that an optimistic outlook for one of the league's most disappointing franchises?

09 Sep 2020RB shuffle, Extension SZN and Week 1 Defenses to Exploit00:28:09

Matt Harmon and Dalton Del Don are here to talk all things football on the latest episode of the Yahoo Fantasy Football Forecast — and we’re just two days from Week 1 kickoff!

First up, our analysts discuss some of the big transactions ahead of Week 1 action, like Adrian Peterson's return to the NFC North and whether Washington naming J.D. McKissic their starting running back has shaken our confidence in Antonio 'CMC 2.0' Gibson.

The Chicago Bears named Mitch Trubisky the starter, while Kareem Hunt and DeAndre Hopkins both got nice extensions with one reportedly on the way for Alvin Kamara.

Next up, Matt and Dalton debut a new segment titled “Who Got Shelled,” where they’ll discuss a defense or defensive player who got absolutely shelled the prior week, then they’ll dive into the data and point out the defensive matchups you might want to take advantage of the following Sunday.

Since this is Week 1, Matt and Dalton will take this segment to look ahead at matchups they believe will be pretty lopsided on Sunday. Matt goes with the Bills passing game vs. the Jets secondary, while Dalton thinks the 49ers’ passing game is going to have a field day against the Cardinals secondary.

12 Jan 2021Wild-card review and Early Divisional Round lines00:45:26

Andy Behrens, Matt Harmon and Scott Pianowski are here to recap the first round of the NFL Playoffs and preview this weekend's games for the latest episode of the Yahoo Fantasy Football Forecast!

First up, the guys discuss the turmoil with the Texans and a disgruntled Deshaun Watson. Could we see the future MVP land in Pittsburgh or Chicago?

Next, the team looks back at the fantasy impact of the Wild-card round. Where will we draft Cam Akers and Jonathan Taylor in 2021 drafts? Should Antonio Brown be a target next year if he stays in Tampa Bay? And could we please figure out what's going on in Seattle?

Matt, Scott and Andy also handicap all of the matchups for Wild-card weekend and throw in some moneylines and DFS nuggets, while also previewing all the fantasy action ahead.

Can the Rams pull off the upset against Aaron Rodgers and the Packers (-7)? Will fantasy heroes Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen put up big totals in DFS? And is this the last game we'll see either Drew Brees or Tom Brady play when the Bucs head to New Orleans (-3)?

It's never too early to start thinking about next year! 25 Aug 2020This year's next Lamar Jackson, Chris Godwin and more00:53:58

Andy Behrens is joined by Alfred Fernandez of Razzball and Dynasty League Football to talk about the real strategy for winning your fantasy league: landing breakout players.

On this episode of the Yahoo Fantasy Football Forecast, Andy and Alfred discuss two pieces Alfred wrote called This Year’s Next (Part I & Part II) and the conceit is simple: Finding value is nice but it’s not everything. In the end, you need to find superstars.

So, Andy and Alfred set out to find this year’s studs, this year’s superlatives. For example, this time last year, a young handsome analyst by the name of Andy Behrens might’ve told you that Lamar Jackson would be that year’s Patrick Mahomes ... and he would’ve been right.

Continuing along that theme, Andy and Alfred outline for you who will be 2020’s Jameis Winston (good fantasy QB, bad IRL QB), Miles Sanders (rookie RB with a slow start and strong finish), Mark Andrews (high-volume TE) and much more.

Remember to stay tuned to the Yahoo Fantasy Football Forecast, which will now have FIVE new episodes per week!

Hello everyone and welcome to the very first edition of Rookie Snapshot, our new miniseries where Liz Loza is joined by Yahoo Sports NFL Draft analyst Eric Edholm to take a deep dive into top prospects (and future fantasy stars?) set to join the league.

First up, our experts look at some of the stud wide receivers in this very deep rookie class. This week’s episode includes:

• Henry Ruggs, Alabama Crimson Tide (02:29)

• Jerry Jeudy, Alabama Crimson Tide (10:23)

• CeeDee Lamb, Oklahoma Sooners (19:20)

• Denzel Mims, Baylor Bears (26:23)

• Justin Jefferson, LSU Tigers (35:24)

You’ll learn the one word you can use to describe each prospect, a key stat from their college days, which NFL player they compare to best and finally, Liz & Eric play GM matchmaker and pick the NFL team that fits with their skillset the best.

Liz and Eric will be back with episode two next week to discuss another fantasy glamour position: the Running Backs!

02 Oct 2020Week 4 Fantasy Preview: Streaming QB options if you were counting on Big Ben or Tannehill01:04:11

Liz Loza and Andy Behrens are here to get you ready for Week 4 on the latest episode of the Yahoo Fantasy Football Forecast!

Liz and Andy dedicate this episode to running down one BIG thing to be aware of for every Week 4 game, starting with Sunday morning's kick-off all the way through to Monday night’s potentially high-scoring matchup between Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers and Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons.

Will Kyler Murray bounce back versus Carolina? Will Baltimore take their frustrations out on a weak Washington team? Who will win when Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs square off against Cam Newton and the Patriots?

Liz & Andy try to answer these questions and more to get you prepped for Week 4, including discussing how we at Yahoo Fantasy are handling the Titans-Steelers postponement as well as identifying some QBs you might want to pick up if Ben Roethlisberger or Ryan Tannehill were starting on your roster.

And for those of you who prefer your fantasy analysis to be a little bold, our experts finish off the show by taking a look into their crystal balls and give us one truly nutty prediction for this weekend's games!

And we take a look at our favorite picks in the later rounds of fantasy drafts, like Jordan Howard and Terry McLaurin, whose hype train we will continue to pilot until draft day. (12:15)

While Coronavirus has put a damper on the usual news parade of players being in the best shape of their lives, Liz and Scott take a look at the fortunes of Evan Engram who makes his way back from a Lisfranc injury that hobbled him in 2019. He’s currently the sixth TE off the board, but is he worth the draft capital at that spot? (41:15)

This year has been unlike any other, and fantasy sports have been directly affected. Liz and Scott talk some changes they’ve made (or will make) in their league settings to reflect the current state of affairs. (49:00)

25 Nov 2020Stat trends you love and hate to see: Corey Davis' Breakout and Kamara's bad game with Taysom Hill00:57:01

Dalton Del Don and Matt Harmon are back to talk about all the major fantasy trends heading into Week 11 on the latest episode of the Yahoo Fantasy Football Forecast!

[Week 11 Fantasy Rankings: QBs | RBs | WRs | TEs | FLEX | DST | Kickers]

Matt and Dalton dive into some key stats and trends ahead of Week 12, including some wild stats in small sample sizes, like Davante Adams being the top-scoring WR in fantasy even though he’s played less than 10 games, Breshad Perriman surprisingly putting up numbers alongside Joe Flacco, and Justin Herbert being QB8 overall.

There are some trends Matt and Dalton don’t like, though, including the warning signs that emerged for Alvin Kamara in Taysom Hill’s first start and Tom Brady’s struggles on deep balls.

They also preview the three Thanksgiving games ahead.

Next up, Matt and Dalton engage in their weekly edition of “Who Got Shelled,” where they discuss a defense that got absolutely bombarded in Week 11 and a defense they expect to get demolished in Week 12.

26 Nov 2018Week 12: Wrap-Up: Melvin Gordon's injury puts fantasy playoff dreams in doubt00:42:52

The Sunday action for Week 12 is in the can! This is it. Just one regular season week left for most fantasy leagues before the playoffs — are you ready?

While some teams are in excellent position to dominate, others aren't. And those who have been led by Melvin Gordon now find themselves in a nightmarish situation.

The Chargers were in the midst of a soon-to-be blowout victory over the Cardinals when Gordon — who almost didn't even start due to lingering ailments — went down. Initial reports suggested an MCL injury suffered by the star runner, but fantasy owners will have to wait until full confirmation to be sure.

Our Yahoo fantasy experts discuss that and more on today’s fantasy wrap podcast. One of those subjects include the return of the Patriots offense, as Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski (at last!), Sony Michel, and Julian Edelman all had great fantasy days. Perhaps the bye week helped fix issues in the Evil Empire?

Our experts then asked you which quarterback — with both Jared Goff and Patrick Mahomes on bye and Drew Brees enjoying a long layoff — had the most surprising fantasy performance on Sunday (all hail Baker Mayfield!)

Liz, Scott, and Matt then wrap up with a few pickup options for Week 13.

15 Nov 2019Week 11 Preview: Nick Foles is back, RBs to stash and WR3s to stream01:00:23

Well, as fun as Minshew Mania was, it has indeed come to an end. Nick Foles is returning to the Jaguars this week, but what does it mean for the fantasy values of Jaguar studs like Leonard Fournette and D.J. Chark? (1:10)

Liz Loza and Matt Harmon discuss that and much more on the latest Yahoo Fantasy Football Podcast.

[Play in Yahoo’s NFL $200K Baller. $10 entry fee and $20K to first place]

Elsewhere in the NFL, two of the top tight ends in fantasy won’t be on the field in Week 11. Austin Hooper will now be out for a month, and considering he’d been the top tight end in fantasy, we feel your pain, fantasy managers. Is Luke Stocker a viable fantasy option now?

George Kittle is set to miss another game, and unfortunately, it’s against the Cardinals, the team which has been friendliest to opposing TEs this season. Liz and Matt seek out TE dart-throws in the wake of these injuries for Week 11. (5:45)

As you very well know, it’s #HandcuffSZN, but beyond that, Liz and Matt list the running backs fantasy managers should be stashing — regardless of whether they’re rostering the lead backs in the same offense. (15:05)

Next up, our experts talk about the random group of wideouts in the top 30-50 who seem to produce week in and week out, and which of them are worth streaming based on their matchups. (23:40)

After discussing all that, our experts give one bit of advice for every game one the Week 11 slate (35:55).

Oh, and don’t forget to join the Week 11 NFL $200K Baller daily fantasy contest. Just a $10 entry fee! $20,000 to the first place winner!

13 Jul 2021Questions you should ask yourself before your dynasty league draft00:53:32

We here at Yahoo Fantasy are friendly to all sorts of league formats and today we're dedicating nearly the whole episode to dynasty leagues. Redrafting a new team every year is for chumps, dynasty is the format for the true galaxy-brained fantasy manager.

Andy Behrens is joined by dynasty expert John Bauer of the Fantasy Football Confidential and Dynasty Theory podcasts to get into the all the philosophical questions you'll want to ask yourself before drafting for your dynasty league this year.

First, they kick off the podcast discussing Saquon Barkley's recent appearance on The Rich Eisen Show in which he avoided putting a timetable on his return. How should managers feel about the RB1's guarded remarks as we're about to enter peak fantasy draft season?

Later, they dive deep into dynasty. How do you balance constructing a team for long-term vs. short-term success? Is it better to trade away future assets for win-now players? What are the best settings for a startup dynasty league? Are rookies too overvalued in the format? Andy & John get into the weeds and hopefully you'll come out of the conversation a little bit more ready for your dynasty draft.

24 Jan 2019Early Super Bowl predictions and way too early 2019 running back rankings00:40:03

This week's podcast is live from the Fantasy Sports Trade Association conference in Tampa, Florida, and Liz Loza is joined by both Scott Pianowski and Brad Evans to break down what's to come in 2019 fantasy football.

But first, Liz, Scott, and Brad talk about the big Super Bowl matchup on the horizon between the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams — who ya got?

Earlier this year, Liz spoke to Matt Harmon and Dalton Del Don to ask them about their 2018 fantasy season. This time, she poses the same questions to Scott and Brad: What went wrong, what went right, and what are they looking to do differently as analysts in 2019?

Our experts also break down their way-too-early 2019 fantasy running back rankings, discussing everyone from Le'Veon Bell and Nick Chubb, as well as Todd Gurley's not-set-in-stone status as being the first RB off the board this upcoming season (20:00).

09 Dec 2019Week 14 Recap: How the NFL playoff race is affecting your fantasy playoffs00:36:26

Sadly, we regret to inform you that the Patriots' dynasty is over. Kaput. Liz Loza and Matt Harmon discuss the state of the Patriots dynasty and much more in the latest fantasy podcast.

Speaking of contenders, they are few and far between in the NFL while there are a plethora of eliminated (or close to eliminated) teams. Yet, some of those teams are still putting up a fight. Liz and Matt talk about which teams are frisky (like the Broncos, Falcons, and Colts) and which teams are packing it in (like the Browns, Panthers, and Jaguars). (02:39)

The New England Patriots lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 14, 23-16. The Texans beat them, 28-22, in Week 13. And we all know what the Ravens did to them a couple weeks ago. That’s three AFC contenders the Pats lost to. So ... what do we make of this? (23:29)

Elsewhere in the NFL, the aforementioned Texans (after that impressive win over the Pats) were embarrassed in Week 15, 38-24, by Drew Lock and the Broncos. Now, Houston is in a virtual tie at the top of the AFC South with the Titans, who have been BALLIN. How will this battle play out in the coming weeks? (28:21)

Unfortunately for fantasy managers, Week 14 was replete with injuries. Mike Evans, Jared Cook, DeVante Parker, and Derrius Guice all went down, among others. Liz and Matt discuss the ramifications of those losses. (31:01)

10 Jul 2020Raheem Mostert wants out, Tom Brady's outlook with Bruce Arians, and much more00:45:59

Welcome to the Yahoo Sports Fantasy Football Podcast! Matt Harmon is joined by 4for4.com’s Director of DFS TJ Hernandez to talk all things football and fantasy on this latest episode.

[Create or join a 2020 Yahoo Fantasy Football League for free today]

First up, Matt and TJ discuss some of TJ's work in the offseason, including his breakdown of what wide receiver stats matter from year to year. (01:50)

breaking news in the NFL world. In a bit of a surprising move, it was reported that Raheem Mostert requested a trade from the San Francisco 49ers. After seemingly looking like the clear workhorse following the Matt Breida trade to the Dolphins (not to mention, Mostert’s awesome performances late last year), Mostert wants out. (11:19)

Matt and TJ break down the situation, as well as the fantasy outlooks of Mostert if he does leave, and Tevin Coleman, who would seemingly be elevated in this backfield.

Next up, the analysts discuss two of their more recent pieces: TJ’s story on how Josh Allen can be this year’s Lamar Jackson (20:00), and Matt’s piece on the workload awaiting Bruce Arians now that Tom Brady is his starting QB. (33:34)

Matt and TJ wrap up with one thing they’ve changed their minds about from last week. (42:45)

30 Nov 2018Week 13 Preview: Question marks for Bears, Bengals, Chargers and strategies to get you through the fantasy playoffs00:45:59

Week 13. It's the last regular season slate for many Fantasy players. Some are lucky enough to already have secured a playoff spot. Many others are hanging on by a thread. A win, a loss, a met-point-threshold — all are important this week. Luckily, Liz Loza and Dalton Del Don are letting us in on some playoff strategies to implement.

Of course you're starting Patrick Mahomes and Todd Gurley, but what about that FLEX position?

But that’s not all Liz and Dalton discuss in this week's podcast episode. They also discuss the late-season injury fallout from across the league. How have the outlooks for Austin Ekeler, Mike Williams, and the rest of the Chargers' skill-position players after Melvin Gordon's injury?

What alternatives do players look for now that Andy Dalton and Mitchell Trubisky are missing time? What does apparent A.J. Green's return mean for Joe Mixon and Tyler Boyd?

They’ve also asked you about the on-the-bubble starters you need to have a huge game in Week 13 — yes, we're talking James White and Corey Davis.

Of course, we can’t forget about Andy and Brad going at it over their Week 13 rankings, and there are some differing opinions about Dalvin Cook.

Liz and Dalton then wrap up with a couple bargains and fades for Yahoo Daily Fantasy.

30 Jan 2020Chiefs vs 49ers: Taking a longer look at both backfields and Deebo vs. Mecole in 202000:30:43

With the big game just a few days away, Liz Loza and Matt Harmon preview the matchup and much more from Radio Row in Miami on the latest fantasy football podcast!

Before they get to that, breaking news out of Chicago: Mitchell Trubisky went under the knife to fix an injured shoulder. Could this cure his passing woes from 2019? Too bad it was his non-throwing shoulder that was injured the whole time. Loza continues to lament the QB situation in the Windy City. (0:35)

Later, our experts give their initial thoughts on staying down in Miami, plus their experiences on Media Night, where Liz got the cold shoulder from Tevin Coleman. (3:05)

The San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs both provided a lot of fantasy goodness last season, and they’ll have some intriguing and interesting situations at both running back and wide receiver in 2020.

Raheem Mostert has established himself as the leader of the 9ers backfield in recent weeks, but considering how things were playing out early in the season (with Tevin Coleman and Matt Breida shining in individual moments), is Mostert worthy of high draft capital next season? On the other side of the spectrum, will Damien Williams finally be a trustworthy season-long asset, or will we be teased with the upside of Darwin Thompson yet again? (10:20)

At wide receiver, both teams have talented youngsters who will be entering Year 2: Deebo Samuel for the 49ers and Mecole Hardman for the Chiefs. The 2019 rookie wide receiver class was truly incredible — and an even better one might be coming in 2020. (15:25)

09 Jan 2020The coaching carousel is in full spin and divisional playoff round preview01:04:03

Happy New Year! A LOT has happened since our last episode, but Liz Loza and Matt Harmon are back to talk all things football in the latest fantasy podcast.

First up, the coaching carousel is in full effect, as one of the biggest pieces was knocked off the board. Jason Garrett is gone from Dallas, replaced by veteran coach Mike McCarthy, which feels a little bit like going from vanilla ice cream to ... artisanal vanilla ice cream. Liz and Matt explain why the move is probably good news for Dak and Zeke. (02:16)

Ron Rivera is now the new head coach of Washington, while the Giants went with former Patriots WR coach Joe Judge as their new HC (and Garrett might apparently not be done with the NFC East). (11:15)

Former Baylor coach Matt Rhule is the new HC for the Carolina Panthers. The Browns, however, are still exploring candidates like Josh McDaniels, Jim Schwartz and Eric Bieniemy. (14:15)

Liz and Matt discuss all these hirings and their impact on the fantasy landscape.

The Wild Card round of the NFL playoffs was a doozy: Kirk Cousins and the Vikings went to New Orleans and took out the Saints. (34:28) Derrick Henry barreled his way through Foxborough en route to a Titans upset, what's next for Tom Brady? (38:05) The Seahawks defeated an Eagles team that lost Carson Wentz to an injury just minutes into the game. (46:45) And Deshaun Watson led the Texans to a win over Buffalo. (51:56) Liz and Matt recap those matchups and then preview this weekend’s divisional round. (55:30)

23 Oct 2020Week 7 Fantasy Preview: Is Baker Mayfield a game manager?01:00:04

Liz Loza and Andy Behrens are here to get you ready for Week 7 on the latest episode of the Yahoo Fantasy Football Forecast!

Liz and Andy dedicate this episode to running down what you should be aware of for every Week 7 game, starting with Sunday morning's kick-off all the way through to Monday night’s matchup between the Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Rams.

Can the Buffalo Bills right the ship by crushing the New York Jets? Should we even care about Washington vs. Dallas? Is Lions-Falcons about to be a fantasy wonderland?

On a more serious note, Sunday night’s Las Vegas-Tampa Bay game turned into Sunday afternoon’s Las Vegas-Tampa Bay game. The Raiders may be without their entire starting offensive line due to COVID. It’s a major wait-and-see, but Liz & Andy will tell you what you need to look out for as the stifling Tampa Bay defense is primed for a potentially dominating performance against an incomplete Vegas squad.

Liz & Andy try to answer these questions and more to get you prepped for Week 7!

And for those of you who prefer your fantasy analysis to be a little bold, our experts finish off the show by taking a look into their crystal balls and give us one truly nutty prediction for this weekend's games!

Remember to stay tuned to the Yahoo Fantasy Football Forecast, which will now have FIVE new episodes per week!

09 Nov 2018Week 10 Preview: Understanding the players tied to your fantasy playoff hopes00:40:47

Ah, Week 10. Just six (or seven, depending on your league) weeks left in the fantasy football season. Now is a time for reflection, to look back and...actually, scratch that. Now is the time to look forward, because the fantasy playoffs are just on the horizon! Now is the time to reevaluate your roster (what will Tyler Boyd be sans A.J. Green?), to make peace — or war — with injured stars (Dalvin Cook is back...and resting on his bye), and to take note of the players who are tied to your playoff hopes.

Yes, our experts asked you to list the players you believe will spell your fantasy success or your fantasy doom come playoff time — no pressure, Aaron Jones.

Along with that roster rundown, our experts also break down all the biggest Week 10 happenings. Among these of course is the return of Dez Bryant, who has now joined the Saints' already-elite offense (4:30).

Our experts then share some fantasy assets that you should be trying to buy and/or sell before your league's trade deadline. Hint: start talking to your league's David Johnson-owner (9:30).

Of course, we can’t forget about Andy and Brad going at it over their Week 10 rankings (22:45), and Nick Mullens is causing some chaos among them!

Liz and Dalton then wrap up with a couple bargains and fades for Yahoo Daily Fantasy (32:45).

30 Sep 2019Week 4 Recap: Lions show signs of (fantasy) life, Nick Chubb explodes and is Brissett a QB1?00:39:35

Week 4 has been ... interesting. After a bunch of random, waiver-wire-fodder players scored, many matchups that looked like they’d be easy wins for the favorites went down to the wire, including the game between the Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs. Not only did the Lions defense surprise in holding Patrick Mahomes to no touchdowns, but Detroit’s fantasy assets showed out as well. Liz Loza and Matt Harmon break that game down and much more in the latest fantasy football podcast, starting with the Cleveland Browns offensive resurgence against the Baltimore Ravens (1:00).

Matthew Stafford, Kerryon Johnson, Kenny Golladay, and T.J. Hockenson all had great days in a losing effort for the Detroit but Liz and Matt ask, should we be paying the Lions more respect (7:00)?

Elsewhere in the NFL, Wayne Gallman lived up to many fantasy owners' hopes and dreams as Saquon Barkley's replacement (11:55). Gallman was the clear lead back for the Giants on a day that Daniel Jones was not at his best, and is expected to be just that as long as Saquon Barkley remains out. Speaking of that Giants game, Dwayne Haskins finally made his NFL debut in a plus matchup ... and it wasn’t great. Our experts debate whether he’s worth a stash in fantasy.

Speaking of quarterbacks, Jacoby Brissett has now delivered back-to-back high-scoring fantasy weeks (20:15). The question Liz and Matt aim to answer is: Do we consider Brissett a QB1 going forward?

Liz and Matt would be remiss if they didn’t address the fact that DeAndre Hopkins has now gone three consecutive weeks with quiet outputs after his Week 1 explosion. What do we make if it? Our experts discuss the Houston receiver and the Texans' receiver corps without Kenny Stills (26:40).

Gotta talk about the Rams-Buccaneers game, which was not only the highest-scoring game of the season so far, it’s the highest-scoring game in Tampa Bay history. Our experts break down that game and all the action that took place (33:30).

They wrap up with the exciting Thursday night game between the Packers and Eagles marvel at the Green Bay offense that is putting up points but doesn't seem to have it all together yet (36:50).

06 Oct 2021Week 5 Betting Preview: The key to unlocking the Jets & Vikings value00:58:31

Scott Pianowski is joined on this Wednesday edition of the Fantasy Forecast by Frank Schwab to preview the weekend's games from a betting angle. In addition to an epic Sunday night AFC Championship rematch between the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills, the NFL also kicks off its London series with the Atlanta Falcons squaring off against the New York Jets, fresh off their first win of the season.

Scott & Frank discuss the ways they're finding value with the Jets and Minnesota Vikings, if the Jacksonville Jaguars are ready to give up on Urban Meyer versus the Tennessee Titans and two more great matchups within the NFC West as the Seahawks host the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday night and the undefeated Cardinals see if they can keep their streak alive against the 49ers.

11 May 2021Tebow returns, Swift vs. C.E.H. & debating Yahoo's initial expert rankings00:57:59

No, it's not 2012. Yes, we're unfortunately still living in this timeline. And yes, Tim Tebow is back in the NFL.

Andy Behrens & Dalton Del Don kick off this Tuesday afternoon fantasy football podcast discussing some of the latest mid-May NFL news: baseball's very own Tim Tebow has returned to the gridiron, signing a one-year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars; Seattle's DK Metcalf failed to qualify for the Olympics at a track meet last weekend; and the Detroit Lions finally parted ways with Kerryon Johnson. The Johnson news spurs a D'Andre Swift vs. Clyde Edwards-Helaire debate.

Later in the show, Andy & Dalton argue about the initial Yahoo expert rankings heading into the 2021 season. Yes, there's consensus about Christian McCaffrey at the number 1 spot again this year, however, things get messy and spicy after that. Could Cam Akers really be a top five RB this year? What should fantasy managers do with Davante Adams, who may not have Aaron Rodgers throwing to him this year? is DeAndre Hopkins due for a regression? Could CeeDee Lamb make the leap into WR1 status? The guys discuss all those players and more.

In the fourth & final pre-draft edition of Rookie Snapshot, Liz Loza & Eric Edholm focus their sights on the best of the rest. They cram the tape and break down the NFL prospects of two running backs, two wide-receivers and a potentially generational tight end:

• Chuba Hubbard, RB, Oklahoma State

• Demetric Felton, RB, UCLA

• Rashod Bateman, WR, Minnesota

• Elijah Moore, TE, Ole Miss

• Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida

22 Sep 2021Week 3 Betting Preview: Underdogs & unders rule so far in 202100:52:43

Underdogs are 21-11 through the first two weeks of NFL action in 2021. Can they keep up the trend in Week 3? There are some juicy underdogs getting a lot of points including the now Davis Mills-led Houston Texans, spotting the Carolina Panthers a touchdown at home on Thursday night, and the New York Jets getting a whopping 11 points against the Denver Broncos.

Scott Pianowski and Frank Schwab look at how poorly favorites have fared so far in 2021 and take a stab at all the betting lines from Week 3. Will the Chiefs continue their losing streak against the spread this week while facing the Chargers? Will the Jekyll or Hyde version of the Saints show up against the Patriots? Will we find out of the Eagles are for real against the Cowboys? Scott & Frank try to answer all those questions and more this week.

08 Nov 2019Week 10 Preview: Kareem Hunt is back – why you should avoid the hype01:02:07

We have reached Week 10 of the fantasy football season — are you tired yet? Hey, fantasy fatigue is a real thing, and Liz Loza and Matt Harmon are here to help you get through it in the latest fantasy football podcast.

[Play in Yahoo’s NFL $250K Baller. $10 entry fee and $25K to first place]

It’s been an eventful week across the NFL. Cam Newton’s season is over, as the Panthers placed their (former) starting quarterback on IR (1:20). Evan Engram is now in a walking boot ahead of a same-stadium rivalry game between the Jets and Giants (8:55). Kareem Hunt is set to play vs. Bills after serving his suspension – what does this mean for Nick Chubb (11:45), and finally, quarterback god Patrick Mahomes is set to make his return from injury, and it begs the question whether his return will positively or negatively affect Damien Williams (17:50).

After discussing all that, our experts preview some interesting Week 10 matchups, including a pair of awesome primetime NFC matchups in Vikings/Cowboys (20:35) and Seahawks/49ers (25:10). After that they preview the rest of the Sunday Week 10 slate (29:00)

They then wrap up the show giving some daily fantasy bargains and fades for the week (59:00).

Don’t forget to join the Week 10 NFL $250K Baller daily fantasy contest. Just a $10 entry fee! $25,000 to the first place winner!

30 Sep 2020Stat trends we love and hate to see: Kamara's shot at RB1, top 5 worst defenses & more00:44:23

Matt Harmon and Dalton Del Don are here to talk about all the major fantasy trends heading into Week 4 on the latest episode of the Yahoo Fantasy Football Forecast!

First and foremost, Matt & Dalton discuss Tuesday’s breaking news that eight members of the Tennessee Titans organization have tested positive for COVID-10 and that both the Titans and Vikings (their Week 3 opponent) would be barred from in-person team activities for the time being. As that story develops, keep it tuned to the podcast as well as @YahooFantasy on Twitter.

Next, Matt and Dalton dive into the stats they love with the top-five running backs with the highest percentage of their team’s yards from scrimmage, including Alvin Kamara, James Robinson, Dalvin Cook, Austin Ekeler, and Derrick Henry (4:10).

There’s also some hype surrounding Darrell Henderson Jr. and Nick Foles, who’ve seen their roles changed, so Matt and Dalton discuss their outlooks. (13:00)

Unfortunately, there are some trends they don’t like too, like the Saints defense sucking and Drew Brees looking washed, cooked & all-around finished. (22:35)

They also discuss some buy-low wideouts you might want to make a trade for in your league (27:00), if Calvin Ridley has overtaken Julio Jones as Atlanta’s WR1 (33:35) and some bottom five defenses in passing and rushing success (35:20).

Finally, Matt and Dalton engage in their new segment titled “Who Got Shelled,” where they discuss a defense that got absolutely bombarded the prior week. While they lament the Baltimore defense getting flattened by Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, they also point out two defense they’d expect to get shelled in Week 4. (41:00)

02 Nov 2018Week 9 Preview: Trade deadline moves and how to fight fantasy fatigue00:49:06

Week 9 is here, and with it, a familiar feeling of fatigue might be setting in. At this point in the season, most players have a clear (or at least, clearer) idea about where they stand. You're either sitting pretty, in the playoff hunt, or already thinking about next year. If you're out of the running, you might feel tempted to sit the next few weeks out. To just go through the motions. Maybe even quit!

Never fear though — on this week’s podcast episode, our experts will help you fight that fatigue to finish your 2018 fantasy season strong! (17:15)

Along with those therapeutic musings, our experts also break down all the biggest Week 9 happenings. These of course include the wild moves at the trade deadline: Demaryius Thomas to the Texas, Golden Tate to the Eagles, and more (and lest we forget, Fitzmagic is real, people). (01:00)

Our experts then share the bench players that fantasy owners are being forced to start in this bye-heavy week. Yes, people have had no choice but to start Nathan Peterman. This is happening. (25:40)

Of course, we can’t forget about Andy and Brad going at it over their Week 9 rankings. They have some very different opinions on Philip Rivers and Geronimo Allison this week! (31:45)

Liz and Matt then wrap up with a couple bargains and fades for Yahoo Daily Fantasy. (41:40)

29 Sep 2020Week 4 Pickups: Which rookie wideouts are we targeting?00:38:36

Andy Behrens is joined by John Paulsen of 4for4.com to prepare you for waiver wire transactions heading into Week 4 of the NFL season.

The guys start at the running back position by asking how is Myles Gaskin still available? Go pick him up already! (8:33)

At the wide receiver position, a few rookies broke out this past week. Should you target Justin Jefferson, Tee Higgins, Brandon Aiyuk or Chase Claypool? (14:59)

And at the quarterback spot, are we believing in Kirk Cousins and Baker Mayfield again heading into a few favorable matchups? (28:57)

Scott Pianowski and Dalton Del Don are here to talk all things betting in Week 15 on the latest episode of the Yahoo Fantasy Football Forecast!

Scott & Dalton handicap all Week 15 matchups and also throw in some moneylines, player props and fantasy nuggets.

This week’s odds are courtesy of BetMGM, and Dalton and Scott discuss them for the full slate of NFL matchups in Week 15.

(As always, odds are subject to change before gametime.)

Dalton and Scott also offer up some DFS value plays and names to fade for Week 15.

21 Feb 2019NFC East questions, Oscar talk and what's gonna happen with AB?00:41:34

Welcome to the Yahoo Fantasy Football Podcast! Yes, our name is changed (slightly), but our content, our voices, and our entertainment stays the same.

That's not the only new thing, however. Along with our new name, we are also launching the Yahoo Fantasy Baseball Podcast!

Hosted by Scott Pianowski, our baseball pod will feature appearances by Dalton Del Don, Andy Behrens, and other industry experts for a not-so-serious discussion on fantasy baseball, and so much more. The first show premieres on March 4, but you can already subscribe to it on your podcast app of choice.

Back to this week though. The 91st Academy Awards will air this Sunday the 24th — who ya got? Matt's got Vice. Liz Loza and Matt Harmon break down the big awards show on this week's podcast episode (3:15).

Back in the world of football, we witnessed a furthering in the apparent break-up between All-World wide receiver Antonio Brown and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Our experts discuss where AB could end up, although Matt is still skeptical he leaves the Steel City at all (13:50).

The team will also further the conversation into Liz’s offseason column examining the 10 most interesting players to monitor. This week, they will delve into the third and fourth additions to her list, Nick Foles and Robert Foster (21:30).

Our experts also take a deeper look at Matt’s weekly major fantasy questions column, where he breaks down the biggest issues each team in every division is facing this offseason.

This week, they’ll take a look at the Cowboys, Eagles, Redskins, and Giants in the NFC East. They’ll discuss whether Dallas can navigate their changing salary cap, if the Eagles' problems go beyond just injuries, what the Giants will do at quarterback, and so much more (26:15).

26 Jun 2020A shorter preseason, the Ravens offense and a Big Ben bounceback?00:57:25

Welcome back to a new episode of the Yahoo Sports Fantasy Football Podcast! Liz Loza and Matt Harmon are back to talk all things football.

[Create or join a 2020 Yahoo Fantasy Football League for free today]

While training camps are expected to open on time, Yahoo's Charles Robinson reports that the NFL is discussing the viability of a full preseason slate, and we know the annual HOF game has been canceled. What will be the impact of a shortened ramp-up period on players? (0:33)

Matt Harmon calls Ben Roethlisberger "one of the keys to fantasy football in 2020" since his health directly impacts the value of Juju Smith-Schuster, Diontae Johnson and James Conner. Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, said, "He's comfortable and pleased where he is. Some people who had the opportunity to work with him are impressed and pleased where he is. The medical experts are comfortable where he is and his readiness for 2020." Liz Loza's chats with an orthopedist says the prolonged break for Ben is a little bit good news and a little bit bad news for his expected value and the Steelers offense. (13:10)

And elsewhere in the AFC North, one of the Steelers’ biggest rivals, the Baltimore Ravens, loom as division favorites, but do we need to worry about Lamar Jackson regressing? If potential regression is to be staved off, Lamar will need weapons to throw to. Can anyone other than Hollywood Brown and Mark Andrews step up in Baltimore? Or are there just not enough touches left once Brown, Andrews, and the rushing game with Lamar get theirs? At least we'll always have some early Miles Boykin coach-hype. (22:45)

Plus, we'll get a player debate in before we get out of here: Is the fantasy community too pessimistic on the Rivers-less Keenan Allen? (45:43)

22 Nov 2019Week 12 Preview: Strong second-half rookies, are the Falcons good now and is Rivers washed?00:52:41

Are we seeing the end of Philip Rivers? On a scale of 1-gross, how bad was Goff vs. Trubisky last week? Oh, and what’s going on with Nelson Agholor’s supposed burner account?

Liz Loza and Matt Harmon discuss that and much more on the latest Yahoo Fantasy Football Podcast, starting with the...shall we say...rough outing between the Rams and Bears last Sunday night. (1:30)

On Monday night, the Chiefs beat the Chargers in Mexico City, but most notable were Philip Rivers' 4 picks. Is the veteran quarterback nearing the end? (7:10)

[Play in Yahoo’s NFL $200K Baller. $10 entry fee and $20K to first place]

Elsewhere in the NFL, the Pittsburgh Steelers have been holding their own even though they’re dealing with a plethora of injuries to their top fantasy weapons. JuJu Smith-Schuster has already been ruled out, James Conner is questionable, and Diontae Johnson is in concussion protocol. Have the surprisingly .500 Steelers finally about collapse under the weight of injuries?(10:30)

Speaking of surprises, the lowly Falcons have won two games in a row by a margin of 55-12. What's behind Atlanta's sudden resurgence, and should we pay attention to this team in the second half? (16:25)

Next, Liz and Matt discuss some rookies who could provide strong second-halves, which could prove very useful in fantasy. Names like Noah Fant, Hunter Renfrow, Deebo Samuel (who could be in for some positive touchdown regression), Darius Slayton and Andy Isabella may be of potential interest if they're available in your league or if you're thinking about keeping them (21:40).

After discussing all that, our experts give one bit of advice for every game on the Week 12 slate (32:40), as well as some DFS bargains and fades (51:45).

Oh, and don’t forget to join the Week 12 NFL $200K Baller daily fantasy contest. Just a $10 entry fee! $20,000 to the first place winner!

11 Dec 2020Week 14 Fantasy Preview: Kirk Cousins, the hottest QB in football01:07:50

Matt Harmon and Andy Behrens are here to get you ready for Week 14 on the latest episode of the Yahoo Fantasy Football Forecast.

Matt and Andy dedicate this episode to running down what you should be aware of for every Week 14 game, starting with Sunday morning’s kick-off all the way through to Monday night’s matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and the Cleveland Browns.

Can Tompa Bay stop their skid against a red-hot Minnesota Vikings team and the en fuego Kirk Cousins? Will Robby Anderson have a massive game against the Denver Broncos now that DJ Moore and Curtis Samuel are on the COVID list? How will Jalen Hurts do in his first start? Who will emerge victorious when the Steelers and Bills square off in what could be a playoff preview?

Matt & Andy try to answer these questions and more to get you prepped for Week 14!

And for those of you who prefer your fantasy analysis to be a little bold, our experts finish off the show by taking a look into their crystal balls and give us one truly nutty prediction for this weekend's games.

10 Aug 2020Draft Guide: Quarterbacks — targets, busts and sleepers00:49:28

Welcome to the Yahoo Sports Fantasy Football Forecast! Yahoo’s Scott Pianowski and 4for4Football’s T.J. Hernandez are here to talk about all things quarterbacks: the targets, the sleepers and, of course, the busts.

[Create or join a 2020 Yahoo Fantasy Football League for free today]

Here’s the plan for this week: every day, we’re dedicating an episode on draft strategy for the big four positions in fantasy football, quarterbacks, running backs, receivers and tight ends.

In today’s episode, Scott Pianowski and T.J. Hernandez discuss their approach for quarterbacks. The consensus strategy when it came fo quarterbacks for a long time was no matter what you do, always, always, always wait on drafting a quarterback. Is that how we should handle quarterbacks this year? Scott and T.J. take a look at the entire quarterback draft board and share their advice on how to handle the position in 2020.

Tier 1: Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson (06:25)

Tier 2: Dak Prescott, Russell Wilson, Kyler Murray (09:55)

Tier 3: Deshaun Watson, Josh Allen, Matt Ryan (13:55)

Tier 4: Drew Brees, Carson Wentz, Matt Stafford, Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers (22:00)

Tier 5: Daniel Jones, Ben Roethlisberger, Cam Newton, Baker Mayfield (28:15)

18 Mar 2020Tom Brady waves goodbye to New England and more Free Agency talk00:51:29

Technically, the free agency period for the 2020 NFL season actually starts on March 18th, but you would think we were midway through the period the way the deals have been flying!

Liz Loza and Matt Harmon talk about all the biggest moves made in the latest fantasy football podcast.

After a Monday that included a mind-boggling DeAndre Hopkins-to-the-Cardinals trade -- that our own Matt Harmon called the worst trade of all time -- and a late-night trade for Stefon Diggs by the Buffalo Bills, Tuesday came in strong as well.

  • It seems like Tom Brady, 6-time Super Bowl champ, is taking his talents to Tampa Bay. We'll look at how TB in TB will impact Mike Evans and Chris Godwin as well. (01:24)

  • Load up the kids into the RV, Phil Rivers is going to Indy. (09:26)

  • Our one word reaction to the Hopkins/Johnson trade: WTF! Okay, that's technically an acronym, but on the bright side Houston signed Randall Cobb tho. (12:23)

  • Stefon Diggs gets traded to Buffalo and adds another weapon to a sneaky good offense. (20:48)

  • If you listen closely you can actually pinpoint the exact moment Matt's heart breaks in two: Cam Newton is likely to be traded or cut in Carolina... and will be replaced by Teddy Bridgewater. (28:37)

  • Bears add Jimmy Graham and Robert Quinn. But not all hope is lost, Chicago is reportedly interested in Nick Foles or Andy Dalton. (36:52)

  • Browns add Austin Hooper and Jack Conklin while fantasy football writers nationwide get ready to write about the loaded Browns offense ... again. (43:54)

  • Falcons replace Austin Hooper with former Raven Hayden Hurst. (45:32)

And our experts will continue to talk through all the news as the updates keep coming!

04 Dec 2021Week 13 DFS Preview: Why Lions-Vikings, Bengals-Chargers & Raiders-WFT are 3 interesting plays00:54:04

Matt Harmon is joined by 4for4's TJ Hernandez to preview Week 13's DFS main slate. While the Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Chargers face off in what could be the weekend's highest-scoring matchup, there is a sneaky little team called the Detroit Lions that have a very interesting matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. Both starting RBs are out, DFS players may want to keep an eye on Alexander Mattison and Jamaal Williams getting the main share of carries on Sunday.

Matt & TJ give you advice at all positions this week, plus a deeper look at Las Vegas/Washington, why Tom Brady is overpriced this week and more.

21 Nov 2018Week 12 Preview: Rams-Chiefs, 3 Turkey Day games and players we're thankful for00:43:58

Week 12's first slate of games begins on Thanksgiving. As such, it's only right that Liz Loza and Dalton Del Don take this podcast episode to discuss the fantasy players they're thankful for this year (not enough thanks to go around for Andrew Luck, TBH).

But that's not all Liz and Dalton discuss in this early week episode. Of course, they have to dissect that game-changing Monday night matchup between the Chiefs and Rams — and what happened to Todd Gurley?!

Our experts also dive into the three games on Turkey Day. Will Ezekiel Elliott continue his torrid stretch? How will injuries to Mitchell Trubisky and Kerryon Johnson affect Bears-Lions? Can Falcons-Saints match Rams-Chiefs? What will *gulp* Colt McCoy do against the Dallas D?

They’ve also asked you about the players you're most worried about letting you down in Week 12 (is Carson Wentz going downhill?).

Of course, we can’t forget about Andy and Brad going at it over their Week 12 rankings, and there are some differing opinions about Deshaun Watson.

Liz and Dalton then wrap up with a couple bargains and fades for Yahoo Daily Fantasy.

27 Apr 2021Julio Jones rumors, why Lance to SF makes sense & Williams may be best RB in the class of '2100:37:12

It's finally here (in two days)! Andy Behrens is joined by NBC Sports Edge's Thor Nystrom in the final episode of the podcast before this weekend's NFL Draft.

After addressing the pro-level rumor of the week, that the Atlanta Falcons are fielding trade offers on star WR Julio Jones, Andy & Thor dive into their final thoughts and assessments heading into Thursday night's draft.

After a spring full of gossip connecting the San Francisco 49ers to Alabama QB Mac Jones, Thor outlines why Trey Lance seems like the obvious answer all along and breaks down the & cons of both prospects.

Later in the show, they guys talk about why North Carolina RB Javonte Williams is shooting up pro-draft boards and has both the power and finesse to become the best back in the class.

Finally, they close out recommending a tight end fantasy managers should keep an eye on who isn't named Kyle Pitts and take a deeper look at Michigan WR Nico Collins and Ohio State RB Trey Sermon.

[Join or create a 2019 Yahoo Fantasy Football league for free today]

The Fantasy Footballers discuss their history, how they came to be and how they grew to become the fantasy powerhouse they are today (2:15). Yahoo Fantasy listeners already know Liz and Matt's strategies like the “Zero-RB” theory and the “Just-Don’t-Draft-Anyone-On-The-Giants-Or-Bengals” strategy. Andy, Jason, and Mike also reveal some of their key strategies for this year (10:35)

Next, the crew reveals some of the 2018 fantasy takes they’d like to apologize for, in the spirit of Le’Veon Bell apologizing to fantasy gamers who drafted him last season (24:10).

Finally, Liz and Matt begin their forthcoming NFL divisional breakdown for August with the NFC North and the Chicago Bears (36:05), Detroit Lions (43:10), Green Bay Packers (50:50) and Minnesota Vikings (59:05).

They wrap up the show taking a few listener questions on Derrius Guice, players to watch out for in the preseason and whether Patrick Mahomes is worth being selected in the 2nd or 3rd round (1:05:30).

Scott Pianowski is joined as always for a Wednesday betting lines podcast by Frank Schwab. They chat about this week's piece of betting advice (don't bother with money line favorites) before diving into the week's lines.

The Arizona CardinalsCincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Chargers are looking to bounce back coming off disappointing Week 8 losses. Elsewhere, the Los Angeles Rams might be getting too many points against the Tennessee Titans, who will be without Derrick Henry for the foreseeable future.

15 Feb 2019Flacco the Bronco, Le'Veon Bell, and questions for the AFC East00:52:30

John Elway got his man ... I guess. The Denver Broncos and Baltimore Ravens completed a trade deal earlier this week that accomplished two things:

One: The Joe Flacco era in Baltimore is over, and the offense now belongs to Lamar Jackson.

Two: The Broncos are expected to shop Case Keenum, handling the reins of the offense over to Flacco.

Sure, Flacco has history with the Denver coaching staff, but was it the right move for a franchise desperate for a fix at QB?

Liz Loza, Dalton Del Don, and Matt Harmon break down that big trade (which won't go into effect until March 13) on this week's podcast episode (3:00).

They also discuss the controversial signing of Kareem Hunt by the Cleveland Browns, and what it means for the fantasy outlooks of Hunt and 2018 darling, Nick Chubb (11:30).

New this week was the start of Liz's offseason column examining the 10 most interesting players to monitor. She started off with Washington running back Derrius Guice (20:30), and this week the team will discuss Guice along with her latest edition, Le'Veon Bell (25:30).

Our experts also take a deeper look at Matt’s weekly major fantasy questions column, where he breaks down the biggest issues each team in every division is facing this offseason.

This week, they’ll take a look at the Jets, Bills, Dolphins, and Super Bowl-winning Patriots in the AFC East (30:00). They’ll discuss whether Buffalo can stabilize Josh Allen, whether Sam Darnold will get the right help, who will stand next to Tom Brady on offense next season, and so much more.

18 Oct 2019Week 7 Preview: Rams make YOLO moves, Saquon is back and the TE wasteland00:52:38

There’s a lot to talk about as we head into Week 7 of the NFL season, and Liz Loza and Matt Harmon cover it all in the latest fantasy football podcast.

[Play in Yahoo’s NFL $250K Baller. $10 entry fee and $25K to first place]

First up, how about that trade the Los Angeles Rams swung for Jalen Ramsey? Talk about going for it all! The Rams went YOLO with their defense and the Jaguars got a decent haul and seem to be rebuilding on the fly better than a certain aquatic team in south Florida (1:00).

Elsewhere in the NFL, fantasy gamers are crossing their fingers that Saquon Barkley will return on Sunday for a plus-matchup against the Arizona Cardinals after practicing for two days straight (12:50).

And now, for a topic that most fantasy gamers have been frustrated with the past couple seasons: Tight Ends! Scott Pianowski recently shuffled-up the tight end position, and now that we’ve gone past “Peach Season,” (drafting the top TEs), it’s apple-picking season. AKA, Liz and Matt discuss which tight ends are worth adding off the waiver wire and streaming via matchup, names like Jason Witten, Dawson Knox, and both Houston Texan tight ends, just to name a few (17:40).

Somehow, Week 7 is cursing us with some BAD quarterbacks going against some BAD defenses. Liz and Matt discuss their thoughts on these matchups, like Ryan Tannehill (taking over the recently benched Marcus Mariota) going against the Chargers, Gardner Minshew vs. the terrible Bengals, and Daniel Jones taking on the Cardinals’ sieve-like defense (29:30).

After discussing all that, our experts preview a trio of Week 7 NFC matchups in the Vikings vs. Lions, Eagles vs. Cowboys and 49ers vs. Redskins (40:15). They then wrap up the show giving some daily fantasy bargains and fades for the week (46:35).

Oh, and don’t forget to join the Week 7 NFL $250K Baller daily fantasy contest. Just a $10 entry fee! $25,000 to the first place winner!

22 Sep 2020Week 3 Pickups: Replacing Saquon Barkley and Christian McCaffrey00:47:15

Everyone... and I mean everyone... is heading to the waiver wire after yet another injury-riddled weekend in the NFL. Andy Behrens and Scott Pianowski go through each position to give you the players the experts are picking up to salvage their season.

Needless to say, running back will be a huge need for many this week. Andy and Scott both agree on the one available player you should target to replace Barkley and McCaffrey.

The wide receiver position also suffered key injuries. Is it about time we put more stock into the Jacksonville offense? The guys stay in the AFC South for your go-to tight end option as well.

18 Dec 2020Week 15 Fantasy Preview: Winning your semis while stars get shut-down01:10:08

Liz Loza and Andy Behrens are here to get you ready for Week 15 on the latest episode of the Yahoo Fantasy Football Forecast.

Liz and Andy dedicate this episode to running down what you should be aware of for every Week 15 game, starting with SATURDAY’S kick-off all the way through to Monday night’s matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals.

Deshaun Watson’s been great this season, but how much longer will the Houston Texans risk the health of their franchise QB? Will the Football Team’s upstart defense be able to slow down Russell Wilson, DK Metcalf and the Seahawks? Will Mitchell Trubisky and David Montgomery delivery another league-winning performance? Who has the edge when Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs take on Taysom Hill and the Saints? What about the duel between ex-Oklahoma QBs as Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles travel to face off against Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals?

Liz & Andy try to answer these questions and more to get you prepped for Week 15!

13 Apr 2021Ranking the five worst receiving corps & Gio and Conner head to new teams00:58:41

Andy Behrens and Matt Harmon are here to discuss the latest in the world of fantasy football on this episode of the Yahoo Fantasy Football Forecast!

First up, Andy and Matt discuss the two earth shattering moves of Giovani Bernard heading to Tampa Bay and James Conner joining the Arizona Cardinals. Okay, maybe earth shattering is a bit of hyperbole, but our analysts discuss the outlook for the two RBs and whether Chase Edmonds can surprise fantasy managers in 2021.

Quarterback-turned-receiver Julian Edelman has retired from football. And in his wake, he leaves behind the New England Patriots, the 3rd worst fantasy receiving corps on our terrible receiver power rankings. Matt and Andy run down their list of the bottom 5 teams and how they can turn their passing games around ahead of the 2021 NFL Draft.

19 Aug 2020Care/Don't Care: Chiefs, Ravens, Buccaneers00:41:27

Matt Harmon is joined by Yahoo’s very own Terez Paylor to talk all things football on the latest episode of the Yahoo Fantasy Football Forecast!

First up, Matt and Terez discuss new Patriots quarterback Cam Newton grabbed some attention after video footage of him in training camp was shared, and it seems the dual-threat QB is already injecting his energy and attitude into the Pats organization.

Next, Matt and Terez highlight some fantasy team previews that need further investigation — specifically, discussing what they don’t care about those teams. These include: Not caring about the ancillary pieces in the Kansas City Chiefs’ passing game, not caring about the “lack of continuity” on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and not caring about statistical regression in the Baltimore Ravens’ offense.

13 Aug 2020Draft Guide: Tight Ends — deeper than ever in 202000:40:25

Dalton Del Don is joined by fantasy analyst Marcas Grant of NFL.com and the NFL Network to talk tight ends and much more on the latest episode of the Yahoo Fantasy Football Forecast!

Here’s the plan for this week: Every day, we’re dedicating an episode on draft strategy for the big four positions in fantasy football: Quarterbacks, running backs, receivers, and tight ends. We already KOed the QBswe took down the RBs, and we tackled the WRs. Now, Dalton and Marcas tackle the position that’s been a bit of a headache in fantasy drafts, the ends!

After the top 2-3 guys — George Kittle, Travis Kelce, Mark Andrews, TE tends to be an afterthought for fantasy managers. The analysts reveal what jumps out when they consider TE ADPs compared to other positions, how they’re approaching the position itself, and what exactly they’re looking for in a good fantasy TE.

They also run down the Tier 1 tight ends — Kittle, Kelce, Andrews, and Zach Ertz — and how they feel about them, along with some other key draft targets at the position, potential busts, sleepers to target late, and finally, they reveal their personal gameplans for drafting tight ends this season.

Remember to stay tuned to the Yahoo Fantasy Football Forecast, which will now have FIVE new episodes per week!

29 May 2020Talking Packers, Bears, and second-tier RB options00:52:01

Liz Loza is joined by none other than NFL Network’s Adam Rank on the latest fantasy football podcast!

[Create or join a 2020 Yahoo Fantasy Football League for free today]

Liz and Adam talk all things NFL, including Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones saying he “would love to be a lifelong Packer.”

... Which is interesting, considering the Packers drafted rookie running back, A.J. Dillon. Liz and Adam share their thoughts on this backfield along with how they’d draft Jones this year. (03:25)

They’ll also break down where Jones fits in their strategy along with fellow tier 2 RBs Josh Jacobs (11:57), Austin Ekeler (13:01), Miles Sanders (18:00), James Conner (26:10), and Devin Singletary (29:10) .

We’ve been talking quite a bit about the Bears on this here pod, and since Adam is a Bears guy, he and Liz give their thoughts on the offense (along with a tweet from Adam stating he thought rookie tight end Cole Kmet was a good draft choice by said Bears!). (32:54)

Finally, the experts run through some guys they like and don’t like for this fantasy football season, including Drew Lock and potentially lethal Denver Broncos (40:10), and Hunter Renfrow of the Las Vegas Raiders. (44:56)

13 Aug 2019Pre-season week 1 overreactions and NFC South preview01:00:26

Well, we’re just about to enter the second week of the NFL preseason, and already the fantasy hype meters for quite a few players have either skyrocketed or plummeted. You can imagine the overreactions that come from all that. So it is fantasy overreaction day on this episode of the Yahoo Fantasy Football Podcast.

[Join or create a 2019 Yahoo Fantasy Football league for free today]

But before they can get to preseason overreactions – Liz Loza & Matt Harmon analyze the great Antonio Brown helmet overreaction of 2019 (0:25).

Back to some impressive preseason performances, Liz & Matt discuss the Friday night 84 yard, 1 TD performance from James Washington — who is battling for a top-3 WR spot with the Steelers — and is now slated to go the Hall of Fame after his performance against the Buccaneers. They also use the weekend's games to anoint Royce Freeman, Dexter Williams, Rashard Higgins, Jamison Crowder and Spencer Schnell to the HOF...or at least discuss their fantasy value for this season (10:35).

Also on the show, Matt gets all upset about the Duke Johnson trade to the Houston Texans (30:35)

Next, Liz and Matt continue their divisional previews with their roundup of the NFC South New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers (38:48)

Finally they take some listener voicemails including one from a very frustrated fantasy commish struggling with the yearly August task of finding a time for his league to draft (55:20).

23 Dec 2019Week 16 Recap: Strange gifts and performances handed out in championship weekend00:47:14

Just in time for the holidays, the football gods gifted us a strange Week 16 to wrap up the 2019 fantasy football season. Liz Loza and Matt Harmon discuss the wild Week 16 and the gifts they think each team received as a result of the weekend's games.

For example, the Eagles gifted Cowboys fans what appears to be the end of the Jason Garrett era in Dallas. (01:22)

Alvin Kamara found the end zone twice this week – his first scores since Week 3 – which might've been a gift that was too little, too late for his fantasy owners. Despite Kamara's season-long performance that didn't meet expectations, is he still a top 5 pick in 2020? (05:41)

Brett Hundley, of all people, staved off a late comeback attempt by the Seattle Seahawks after Kyler Murray left the Cardinals game with a hamstring injury. Perhaps more so than #1 pick Murray, the real gift in Arizona might be Kliff Kingsbury, who is proving himself to be a more than competent NFL head coach. (10:42)

Every Denver Bronco fan has been wishing for a QB ever since Peyton Manning hung up the cleats in 2016. Is Drew Lock the gift they've been waiting for? (13:48)

In a startlingly high-scoring game, the Giants and Washington went into overtime tied 35-35! Dwayne Haskins went down with an injury, but it didn’t appear to be too serious. Daniel Jones, on the other hand, went absolutely nuts, throwing for 352 yards and FIVE touchdowns. What can we expect from these two young quarterbacks in their sophomore year? (21:02)

Speaking of strangely high-scoring, how about those Bengals and Dolphins? Two months ago, this game looking like a snoozefest, and despite their bad records, these teams have set themselves up for interesting futures. (25:10)

All those games and more on the last Sunday-night episode of the season.

14 Oct 2020Stat trends we love and hate to see: Projecting Mecole Hardman and what's up with Zach Ertz?00:43:48

Matt Harmon and Dalton Del Don are here to talk about all the major fantasy trends heading into Week 6 on the latest episode of the Yahoo Fantasy Football Forecast!

Matt and Dalton dive into the stats and trends they love, including Chase Claypool’s rise through the Steelers ranks, Mecole Hardman’s opportunity with Sammy Watkins sidelined and Chase Edmonds increasing snap rate in the Cardinals offense.

Unfortunately, there are some trends they don’t like too, like Zach Ertz’s recent performances without Dallas Goedert, DeSean Washington or Alshon Jeffery, and rookie RBs Jonathan Taylor and Clyde Edwards-Helaire failure to meet their hype.

Finally, Matt and Dalton engage in their new segment titled “Who Got Shelled,” where they discuss a defense that got absolutely bombarded in Week 5 and a defense they expect to get demolished in Week 6.

15 May 2020Learning from burnt takes, and does anyone know how healthy Todd Gurley is?00:48:18

We’ve all had predictions that turn out to be wrong. We’ve all had bad takes that come back to haunt us. It’s a part of life and the human need to try and make an opinion as close to a fact as possible. The key is to learn something from that burnt take.

Liz Loza and Matt Harmon have had some of their own, and they discuss those takes and much more in the latest fantasy football podcast.

[Create or join a 2020 Yahoo Fantasy Football League for free today]

But first, we look at some of the news around the NFL. Falcons OC Dirk Koetter said about RB Todd Gurley that "The main question, that no one seems to know, is what is his health status?” If the OC doesn’t know ... who does? (01:41)

Colts WR T.Y. Hilton recently said, "I want to be a Colt” in reference to his contract status ... which is not a sentence you need to say if a team already wants you back. Are we buying or selling Hilton in a Rivers-led offense? (10:10)

Our Tennessee Titans 2020 preview went live, and our experts give their thoughts on Derrick Henry's chances of becoming the overall #1 running back for the year. (Hint: they're not high, but that doesn't mean you should avoid him this year.) (17:15)

Most recently, Matt looked back at his failed 2019 takes on both Alvin Kamara and Davante Adams. Liz, too, had a burnt 2019 take, on David Johnson. They discuss the three questionable takes in detail, what to expect from them in 2020, and why it's important to focus on process not results. (19:05)

23 Aug 2019Boom-or-bust guys, auction strategy and AFC West preview00:59:00

We're only about 13 days from season kicking off in Chicago, but who can even focus on the upcoming NFL season when the XFL is back, baby! Liz Loza & Matt Harmon briefly grade the new XFL team names and logos (1:05) before opening the show for real by taking a listener question about boom-or-bust players (4:30).

In discussing John Brown, Tre'Quan Smith, Adam Humphries, Marvin Jones, Tyrell Williams, Damien Williams and Jared Cook, they talk about some high-risk/high-reward options, the types of variances that exist with theses players and also some floor-play options.

[Join or create a 2019 Yahoo Fantasy Football league for free today]

Later, Matt & Liz are joined by none other than Yahoo Fantasy’s very own Scott Pianowski to discuss strategies for fantasy owners heading into auction drafts (16:30).

20 Sep 2019Week 3 Preview: New QB roundup, plus injured units in KC and PHI00:49:47

If the story of Week 2 were the star QBs injured and out for the foreseeable future, then the story of Week 3 are the fresh faces we'll be seeing in their places. On this edition of the Yahoo Fantasy Football Podcast, Liz Loza & Matt Harmon dive into the offenses we'll be seeing this weekend manned by unproven young passers.

First, Mason Rudolph is stepping in for Big Ben with the Steelers. How will the 2018 third-rounder fare versus a San Francisco team that stomped all over Cincinnati last weekend (1:35).

With Drew Brees reportedly out for six weeks, will we see our first QB-by-committee in New Orleans, led by Teddy Bridgewater and Taysom Hill (7:15)?

Who is Kyle Allen and why is he being discussed in my fantasy podcast? Liz & Matt are surprisingly excited about Cam Newton's backup in Carolina and the loaded cast of skill players at his disposal (12:20).

Finally, it's the end of an era in New York. With Eli Manning passing the torch to Daniel Jones this weekend in Tampa Bay, this can't possibly be a downgrade for the Giants, right (16:25)?

The injury monster reared its ugly head of late, and it has not stopped terrorizing the league since. David Njoku took a brutal hit on Monday Night Football, fracturing his wrist and leaving the game with a concussion. DeSean Jackson is out with a hip strain, and he’s not the only Eagle dealing with ailments. LeSean McCoy looked set to get his first start in the Kansas City backfield ... and then he hurt his ankle. Luckily, there’s no structural damage, but both he and Damien Williams are questionable for Sunday’s matchup against the Ravens.

Liz Loza and Matt Harmon are joined by Yahoo's very own Andy Behrens to process all these injuries and who could be the beneficiary of these absences this weekend (24:15).

[Play in Yahoo’s NFL $500K Baller. $10 entry fee and $50K to first place]

After discussing all that, our experts then preview some key Week 3 matchups (39:45) and close out the show with some daily fantasy bargains and fades (45:50).

Oh, and don’t forget to join the Week 3 NFL $500K Baller daily fantasy contest. Just a $10 entry fee! $50,000 to the first place winner!

11 Oct 2019Week 6 Preview: What if Mahomes is really injured?00:51:57

On Monday night, the 49ers put on a running clinic in against the Cleveland Browns, but it ended up coming at a heavy cost: The team lost both their fullback and their right tackle to injury. Liz Loza and Matt Harmon open the show this week discussing the prospects of Matt Breida, Tevin Coleman and play a little game of either/or with the San Francisco backfield (2:06).

There's a lot to consider in Kansas City with now that the injury bug has shown its ugly head. With Sammy Watkins getting hurt and Tyreek Hill not yet ready to return, Byron Pringle emerged against the Colts — but is he the real deal – and does any of that matter if Patrick Mahomes is hobbled with an injured ankle (9:15)?

In other news, Chris Herndon made fantasy gamers rage uncontrollably after he hurt his hamstring in practice — and this is after waiting for him to return from his suspension. Not great. Liz & Matt break down the frustrating Jets offense and recommend some sage for Gang Green (15:45).

Oh, and Christian McCaffrey scared the sh** out of everybody by missing practice with a back issue but he returned to a full practice (thankfully). With that said, McCaffrey’s backup, Reggie Bonnafon, impressed late against the Jaguars, making him arguably the most valuable handcuff in fantasy (24:15).

Mark Walton got promoted after Kalen Ballage ... Kalen Ballage’d. Is Walton on the fantasy radar? What about the rest of the Dolphins, who are playing a must-lose game against Washington this week (31:30).

[Play in Yahoo’s NFL $300K Baller. $10 entry fee and $30K to first place]

After discussing all that, our experts preview a pair of sneaky-interesting Week 6 matchups in Houston/Kansas City and the London Bowl between the Panthers and Buccaneers (38:05), then wrap up the show giving some daily fantasy bargains and fades for the week (44:40).

14 Feb 2020Valentine's Day matchmaker with Philip Rivers, Amari Cooper and the 2020 free agent class00:57:59

It’s the second full week of February, and for many folks, that means love is in the air — yes, Valentine’s Day.

And in the spirit of happy couples, Liz Loza and Matt Harmon decided to play matchmaker in the latest fantasy football podcast.

But instead of bringing couples to the perfect V-Day restaurant or pairing a significant other with the perfect gift, they’re taking the top soon-to-be free agents and placing them in a new team.

[Yahoo Sportsbook powered by BetMGM: Deposit $10, Get $100 in Free Bets. NJ only. 21+. Terms apply]

The first candidate is Philip Rivers, newly “single” after the Chargers and QB said their goodbyes (4:45). There’s Amari Cooper, on the market after being the odd-person-out in a highly publicized sugar-daddy situation (10:25).

Should Melvin Gordon look for love outside of LA? (16:40)

Are Derrick Henry and Ryan Tannehill meant to be? (24:45)

Where will the second chapters of Jameis Winston — who got LASIK surgery so now everyone will overdraft him in 2020 — and Marcus Mariota take them? (25:40)

Kenyan Drake was broken up with (freed?) by the Miami Dolphins and went on to produce successfully with the Cardinals — so is this pairing the real thing? (44:10)

These are just a few of the names Liz and Matt play cupid with — where do you wish your favorite free agents would land this offseason?

29 Apr 20192019 Draft Recap: NFC00:40:08

The 2019 NFL Draft is in the books and the teams that that befuddled and confused over the offseason like the New York Giants and the Oakland Raiders continued that tradition through draft night.

Liz Loza and Matt Harmon report in from Buffalo's Nashville with a special two-part draft recap combining their fantasy expertise with Yahoo Sports' Terez Paylor and Charles Robinson, hosts of the Yahoo Sports NFL Podcast.

In Part I, they tackle what went down in the NFC over draft weekend, starting with their first reactions from Nashville. Next they discuss:

- Kyler Murray and an agressive draft by the Arizona Cardinals (3:15)

- The Giants shocking everyone and no one by selecting Daniel Jones (7:55)

- A surprisingly competent draft by the Washington Redskins (12:45)

- First-year running backs who might have a Nick Chubb-like breakout season in 2019 (17:00)

- Rookies who might not live up to their fantasy potential (20:30)

- Defensive rookies who might surprise in 2019 like Darius Leonard (22:00)

- Wide receivers most likely to make an immediate impact (23:45)

- Whether tight ends T.J. Hockenson and Irv Smith, Jr. can be fantasy-relevant in their first seasons (28:25)

- Draft picks they would veto if they were the commissioner (34:30)

To hear Liz, Matt, Charles and Terez discuss the AFC, be sure to head over to the Yahoo Sports NFL Podcast.

26 Oct 2018Week 8 Preview: Andy Dalton, Fantasy Freddy Krueger00:45:35

Week 8 is here! On this week’s episode, our experts break down all the happenings leading up to kickoff, including Todd Gurley's continued dominance over...well...everyone (he's outscoring entire teams, ENTIRE TEAMS, GUYS). Also, a Raider became a Cowboy this week, when Oakland traded Amari Cooper to Dallas. Though the 'Boys definitely needed a wide receiver, should fantasy players even care about this move, and what effect will it have (if any) on Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott?

Later, our experts discuss the prospect of handcuffing at this stage of the fantasy season, as well as potential targets to hit on.

As we get closer to Halloween, Liz and Dalton decide to compare fantasy players to horror movie monsters. Basically, Freddy Krueger = Andy Dalton. On that same note, they share your comparisons between fantasy asset and movie monster (Le'Veon Bell is the Invisible Man *ugly laughs*).

Of course, we can’t forget about Andy and Brad going at it over their Week 8 rankings — and they have some very different opinions about Chris Carson.

Liz and Dalton then wrap up with a couple bargains and fades for Yahoo Daily Fantasy.

Andy Behrens and Scott Pianowski get together to give their best waiver wire pickups and drops heading into week 4 of the NFL season.

27 May 2021Fantasy football narratives we'd pay to go away forever00:56:01

Matt Harmon is joined by Marcas Grant of the NFL Network to talk about the latest in fantasy football and the narratives from this point in the season they'd like to see disappear.

First, they chat about the report that the Detroit Lions are working out Todd Gurley for a possible reunion with Jared Goff in the motor city. They also talk about A.J. Brown's TikTok recruitment campaign of Julio Jones.

Earlier in the week, ESPN reported that a certain former U.S. President tried to bribe a senator in order to sweep the NFL's "Spygate" investigation under the rug, which got us thinking: which fantasy narratives would we pay to go away as well? The Saints will be good this year! The Steelers will be bad this year! X player is looking swole on Instagram! All can get lost. (13:25)

Finally, Matt continues his series on stackable offenses & explains why you may want to stack Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp, Robert Woods and the Los Angeles Rams. (44:55)
