06 Apr 2024 | Healing Through Collaboration | 00:38:50
The Matria Coalition helps women to achieve the life of their dreams while spending time in beautiful community to heal, to embrace the divine feminine, and help create the balance that is needed in today's world - a journey back to themselves. Co-Creators Michelle Casazza and Jennifer Norman created the Matria with one goal in mind - building a community for humanity to come together and ideate a new kind of working and being. We've heard of the patriarchy, and now we see the matriarchy creating space so that we can create the balance after being exiled for thousands of years. Women are on the forefront of creating change, that doesn't mean we don't need men or the divine masculine - women are being called to introduce the balance and show others how to walk it. 13 Sep 2024 | Gen-Z-enius | 00:38:54
Whether we like it or not, Gen Z is here to fuck some shit up...and we need it. These are some of the most brave, unique, unapologetic, and exquisite human beings. Their role in this space and time is clear - to radically object to what isn't working for the newer generations. We've been stagnant in our systems, our thinking - and it once served us. Now is the time to turn to the younger generations to meld what was and what is becoming. Romanshika Singh grew up in Nepal and a career in marketing, media, onscreen personality wasn't a thing - she made it one. She loves to create, to be on camera, to create a desire marketing for what people actually need - but she also goes beyond that...she's understanding the data and analytics behind AI and the algorithms being well aware of the problem that we're facing today which involves important information being suppressed for those who need to see it. She's blazing the trail for women in media, Nepalese women in onscreen personality, and humanizing the algorithms so that we manage both sides - responsible reporting, but also, honoring what each individual finds to be important in their lives. Find Romanshika on LinkedIn and Instagram, she loves to connect and to have conversations about the goings on of the world as a powerful Gen Z. Maddie McKinnon is exploring the incredible beauty and connection between coaching and flowers. Her floral business, Frida's Flowers, named after THE Frida Kahlo - what better way to honor the journey than toward one of the great Latina feminists!Maddie and I get into extremely interesting conversation that includes the synchronicities of our hurtful journeys that led to our heartled work to lead humanity into a higher vibration, to restore the balance with the divine feminine as we're being called. Maddie and I also touch on the worldwide genocide based on a recent post she re-shared (Dr. Autumn Blackdeer) as we navigate the invitation for everyone to go inward, to see what comes up in their physical bodies to be able to do the work to heal and to be open. Wow. What an incredible conversation - hearing Virginia Lacayo speak on what it's going to take to create conscious, intersectional leaders in this world is not only attainable, but our long term success as humanity depends on it. The passion, conviction, and triumph that Virginia is leading from a feminist, neuroscience, and complex systems perspective beautifully articulates how we get back in touch with our "Cacica", we already have it within us - the divine feminine being called in to create balance or in many cases chaos - the short term chaos that we need to "break the damn system". Virginia is leading the charge with many others as part of "Massive Systemic Change" and we discuss how I'm coaching for the "me" and Virginia and team are coaching for the "we" and "all" - tune in to see what we mean. Trigger warning: stories of abuse, bullying, mobbing, racism, and trauma. Terry Chi and discuss a variety of lived experiences of workplace trauma and hers specifically rooted in racism and cultural bias against Asian American women. The treatment she has received since the dawn of her career is centered in people's unconscious biases of how an Asian woman should act or speak brought forth by tone policing her presentations, in person interactions, and even email communications. She is currently in the midst of a legal fight with her current employer where we dig in on what happened, how she's managing it, and what people should know to gear up for the fight - as the common reaction is retaliation, that Terry is no stranger to. Tune in to hear these stories, we want you to feel seen and heard, and glean a little something for your own personal power to fight back. 19 May 2024 | Money is Energy! | 00:38:17
We may or may not be able to agree (as a society) that we're in late stage capitalism and the masses are being harmed by this structure in society AND be able to remember that money itself is not innately bad - it's an energetic exchange. What turns sticky and icky is that humans then use money to exert power over one another, this is where Jeni and I discuss how to manage a modern day, heart-led business while still being asked to operate in a capitalist world. The beauty of being a heart-led business owner? To understand the energetics and love that money is for you, and uniquely what you bring to the world. Being in relationship and congruency to what you are calling in is something that is not only possible, but that Jeni helps you to unleash, to finally break out of the multi decade patterns that capitalism has taught us. Money loves you and wants to see you succeed. Find Jeni on Substack, LinkedIn, or visit her website. Kanwal Haq is on a mission, she is a medical anthropologist and brilliant researcher on a quest to bring true health equity to all women. Gone will be the days when women aren't believed by their healthcare provider by anchoring in the belief that knowledge is power. Kanwal's book, "Taking Care of You" is the go to for common conditions women are facing, the ones we don't learn about in school, the non-reproductive issues that are common killers that we don't know or hear about. Kanwal and her team don't just dwell on what we don't know, she moves through to getting answers and to shift the narrative from the problem, to the solution - the action toward what we're doing about changing the healthcare system to be inclusive toward all humans, and she is rooted in facts and research within the scientific, but also the humanities community. A trained doula, she is focused on creating the best possible outcomes for women and to understand what is actually going on in our bodies. 05 Jun 2024 | Embracing Duality | 00:38:21
Amanda Treppa loved her job AND she experienced workplace abuse. More than one thing can be true at once and we explore this notion to its depths during this episode showcasing our work in workplace psychological safety, and how we got here (as society, the abusers, the systems). Amanda fought back, embraced the duality, and embarked on the butterfly effect in every aspect of her life to see what was in store for her at her soul level. While we are not grateful for the abuse, we are grateful for the invitations to explore ourselves deeper, to create new opportunities we never thought were possible, and we forgive. Through empathy and activism, Amanda is driving the Workplace Psychological Safety Act forward in not one but TWO states - Michigan and Connecticut. Stay tuned to Amanda and her work in these two states as they will undoubtedly prevail in the coming year. Thank you for all that you do, and for sharing your story, Amanda. 12 Nov 2023 | Employers Have Too Much Power | 00:36:06
We have a problem...today, there is no law against anyone abusing someone mentally or emotionally in the workplace. Deb Falzoi, Founder of Dignity Together and the "End Workplace Abuse" movement, explores this topic with me and what is missing in today's society as it relates to psychological safety - specifically in the workplace. Deb and thousands of others have created a movement to introduce the Workplace Psychological Safety Act into legislation, beginning in Massachusetts. The goal is to drive momentum behind the movement and begin passing the Act in many key states across the nation. There is a basic dignity that a human being should expect upon entering the workplace and this Act will enable an organizational head to hold employers accountable where abuse has occurred. Today there is nothing and no one enforcing employers to act upon abuse, and further there is no law for precedent if an employee tries to go the legal route. So, upon filing a complaint, the individual is on their own. Please join the movement, and sign the petition no matter which state you live in - https://dignitytogether.org or https://workplacepsychologicalsafetyact.org to see progress and to get involved in the act. Mariam Araji is an activist, and advocate for domestic abuse particularly in war torn countries. She shares that women experiencing domestic abuse in Iraq don't have many options, they either stay put as the abuse increases or go to a prison where there are very small space set aside for victims or survivors - but there really haven't been any good options, just a consistent cycle of abuse at home, on the streets, or by police themselves. Mariam is on the forefront of changing this for women worlwide, there is hope. As more women band together in many regions of the world, there are moves being made to bring some of the standards from other parts of the world for Iraqi women. The ask? 07 Dec 2023 | Be Your Own Filter | 00:47:27
A revolution is happening...a social sex revolution in how we think, feel, and express our sexuality - all led by THE Cindy Gallop. What is a social sex revolution? Well, for thousands of years everyone's perception (inward and outward) has been controlled by the patriarchy. Time's up. Cindy's life-changing, game-changing human curated platform for social sex is literally improving the lives of humanity as we know it. The only problem? She is blocked on every platform on the internet when she tries to share her content or even the name of her business. Make Love Not Porn is the platform which is one-of-a-kind vetted by actual humans to vet every single piece of content, frame by frame, every second - even the commentary for the REAL people creating videos that showcase the beautiful, messy, sometimes awkward sex lives. What else does it do? It helps people who have experienced sexual assault to heal, to start reclaiming power over the bodies and sexuality, it teaches people of ALL ages that real sex isn't what you see in the monopolized industry of adult film. Cindy is bridging the gap in humanity that no one else is doing right now. Fund her, fund her now. Due to all of the bans and blocks, there are places you need to creatively look to find Make Love Not Porn - TikTok - make love not corn (yes corn) and I had to use all kinds of unique ways with Cindy's name to find it...it's shadow banned so follow it, like the content, share it, etc Use this direct link to find MLNP on Instagram as again, they don't want you to find it - https://instagram.com/makelovenotporn?igshid=OGQ5ZDc2ODk2ZA== And prior to the crowdfunding link being finalized, subscribe to Cindy's substack at https://substack.com/@dearcindy as all proceeds go to MLNP. 28 Feb 2025 | The Storyteller's Truth w/ Tamra Simmons | 00:42:04
Tamra Simmons was gathering eggs and water from the well in a small community at the age of 6 and is now an internationally acclaimed executive producer, winner of the Peabody, and a lifetime achievement award. She is a storyteller that listens with her heart, and builds not only connections, but a rapport of protection and guidance for those that she creates those bonds with. It's not just about the story, it's about listening and caring for those that have a story to tell. That's Tamra. Tamra set out to create a "simple" 2 hour documentary that would become a 3 part series, a federal case, a multi-charge indictment called 'Surviving R. Kelly'. The amount of women coming forward to share their experience kept coming as more women gathered in Tamra's community leading to the 3 part - and now we know, a case study to build the federal case. Tamra and Amy talk about following their soul and their spirit which leads to everlasting glimmers through the pain of "humaning" - that is, we call in what our soul desires. Tamra shares how she loves reading case studies for the Harvard Business Review, only for her documentary to become one. Huzzah! That's the magic - and - as you will hear, it came with a lot of physical, emotional, and mental hurdles. What's next for Tamra? Who knows! But it will be soul-led, and it will be magical and divine. What if we were able to identify a gateway or a portal into overall health? Spoiler alert, we do...for people who menstruate, the monthly cycle is literally our bodies sharing information with us. In this incredibly informative episode, Danielle Keiser shares with us deep knowledge about the 4 phases of menstruation along with key elements to look for in each phase to ensure we are at optimal awareness! 26 Feb 2025 | Scooping Never Stopped w/ Sunshine Chabot | 00:43:29
This episode is dedicated to the Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation. Sunshine Cabot was scooped, or removed from her biological family and placed with European families to "remove the Indian from the Indian" as mandated by the government in those exact words. Through growing up feeling lost, not knowing her roots, where she came from, she felt a deep ache inside that grew into a desire to turn back and help those kids that were also scooped, to find themselves and guide them toward their purpose in life. The truth? Media will say that scooping occurred from the 60's to the 90's...but it indeed never stopped, the government just became more clever by hiding it within legitimate government systems e.g. child welfare services. Sunshine shares her story, and briefly touches on reconnecting organically with her biological mom knowing and trusting that her spirit guides and ancestors played a role in bringing them together - she's saving that for a book. The time to come together and restore humanity, to create the balance we've never seen in this lifetime and return everyone to themselves is Sunshine's mission - with light and love, and shadow work, do you work so that you can come together in community to make the impact you were always destined to make. Isabel Draughon - an exceptional human and 2 decade entrepreneur. When two soul-led humans get together, you feel the palpable passion and drive in their energy and voices. That is Isabel and I - we often call each other our soul sister...it truly feels that way. Isabel shares her gifts with the world through coaching women in business (whether on their own or executives in organizations) with one message in mind - honor yourself. You are so much more than what you "do" - and Isabel implores you to, "come home". Often in speakings with high powered women, she asks simply "Who are you"? And it's one of the most difficult questions to answer because of our lifelong conditioning that our worth hinges on our title or how much we make. She shows women how to excavate who they are on the soul level, their true essence. Much like me - and, as we discuss, no one can do what we do, how we do. When you find the coach, the person that sets your soul on fire, plunge in the deep end and get ready to work. Find Isabel on her website and connect with her on LinkedIn. 12 Jan 2025 | Collectivist Culture w/ Emily Brown | 00:47:17
Emily and Amy did the damn thing. Meaning, they lived life early on a copy/paste version of what the world told them to be and how to act. This didn't always feel good, as a matter of fact, it started to feel really bad. They unsubscribed, and ventured onto a path that opened up the world's infinite possibilities - most importantly, they walk a path toward challenging their own biases or discomforts in an effort to always question a thought they were taught. This allows for a breakthrough in humanity, to create the balance we've never seen in this lifetime. Amy and Emily discussed their personal journeys, experiences with societal influences, and the importance of embracing individuality and connecting with nature and each other. They also shared their experiences as highly attuned individuals, their disillusionment with mainstream systems, and their desire to align with their true selves. The conversation also covered the need for unity and balance between the divine feminine and masculine, the importance of considering diverse perspectives and needs, and the importance of education and personal growth. Raslyn Wooten has been on the receiving end of some of the most horrifying workplace discrimination experiences you'll ever hear...and being in PR, her work publicly spoke for itself. Through her own court case, she began what started as a blog, writing about her experience with workplace discrimination that then became a career lifestyle magazine for black women called Notable. She interviews women 4 times every year to hear their story of discrimination because reporters and journalists had been claiming that they couldn't find any black women to talk about it. Through this work, she further created JobMinder365, an app that is a journal for you to document all details about your job - the good, the bad, and the ugly - along with your employee handbook so that you have everything in one place when you're ready to pursue action.
