First up we invite back Dr Sam Summers, lecturer in film and animation and host on the Disniversity podcast, to discuss the dark and wild animated film that is The Brave Little Toaster.

Created in a slight partnership with Disney and involving several Pixar alumni we delve into this dark children's animation to ask how reflective it is of 80s animation and consider whether it should be remembered for all time.

Talking all about evil clowns, horrific car crushers, and depressed air conditioners, this episode is filled with some wild trivia, conversations, memories, and of course our always memorable Endgame!

19 Feb 2021What Theme Park Rides Can We Make From Disney Classics?01:35:47

We're back with another crazy challenge! After previous experience pitching movies based on working titles, this time we wanted to pitch theme park rides for the world-famous Disney Land and Disney World!

As we're unable to travel to such fun places at the moment, and with theme park tie-ins becoming ever more apparent to film, we wanted to encapsulate that fun ourselves along with our guests Kelly Bishop and Stephen Jones, pitching what Disney Classics we'd like to see get the theme park treatment!

How will it work? Will it be fast? Lots of drops? Souveniers? Entertainment in the queue? These are questions we tackle in convincing each other or rides are feasible!

Not only do we have to convince ourselves, however, but also the great Dr Sam Summers, from the Disnivirsity Podcast, who gives his thoughts on all our ideas. Whether a Disney fan or not, this is a fun ride you don't want to miss!
