This week, we’re diving into textiles (and much more). I had the pleasure of learning all about fashion conservation from César Rodriguez Salinas (@txetxare), a Fashion and Textile Conservator at @kunstmuseum.nl. We discussed his early years working on the opening of the Balenciaga Museum in Getaria (@cristobalbalenciagamuseoa), the importance of fashion conservation alongside art preservation, and his work on the pieces featured in the ‘Dior: A New Look’ exhibition currently on display at the Kunstmuseum.
