Ferrara is currently teaching creative writing at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida and originally made a name for himself as a writer writing for such television shows as "Weird Science" and "Honey I Shrunk the Kids". As a lifelong wrestling fan, Ed joined the WWF as a writer alongside Vince McMahon (among others) where he was apart of the creative process that spawned the Attitude Era.
