Through those unassuming cell towers, there is a hidden agenda. Armed with a note given to me anonymously I am on the case to find the truth out and tell the world about EMF radiation living right near our homes, neighborhoods, schools, churches, and all the places we frequent and you will love how it turns out! 24 Mar 2021 | Let's Have Coffee! The Perfect Beverage | 00:12:56
Do you love coffee like I do? If not, you most likely have a family member, friend or co-worker who loves coffee and the smell of that indulgent and fresly made brew. If trivia is for you then perhaps you'll want to share this episode. There's a lot of it! And you or your coffee drinking friend or loved one may be missing out on the golden opportunity of being a "Coffee Connoiseur". It doesn't sound so bad. A matter of fact, it sounds kind of fun. And who doesn't love to have fun? As I explore deeper into coffee, I find that one of the main functions of a true coffee lover is going to different coffee shops and asking questions or making your own coffee and learning about all the types of coffee and not being stuck on that one "Cup of Joe" you've gotten so used to drinking. There are so many coffee flavors and strengths to go for. Don't be shy. Try them all. 15 Dec 2017 | Christmas Trees - And Thought On Feeling Very Un-Christmasy...Kind Of. | 00:23:10
Episode 57! - Christmas Trees - And Thought On Feeling Very Un-Christmasy...Kind Of. Helloo...this is Stephanie...Talk, Tales and Trivia. Merry Christmas! Yes...it's almost here; really only days away but we still have a little time to do some small (or big) Christmas shopping. In this episode we talk about Christmas trees and some pretty good Christmas tree trivia...if you're into that kind of thing... ;-) Then at the end I tell you what's been going on with me in the past couple of months...some bad and uncomfortable situations that, at first, made Christmas preparations difficult. And there is a lesson I learned about when to let things go (now) and start over in a new year. And...yes. I finally mustered up that Christmas feeling. Run. Now. Go to your kitchen. Make that hot beverage that you love so much. Perhaps a hot chocolate with a candy cane in it?! Just a thought. Sit back, relax, listen and smile as this episode lulls you into remembering the best thing about hanging around your Christmas tree. A Very Important Announcement: *Southpaw - A Tale About A Girl's Imagination is no longer on amazon because Stephanie is hard at work revising it after finding a few small things that needed changing and she is busy making the 2nd edition. 12 May 2021 | Van Life - On Being A Van-Dweller - Who Is It For? | 00:13:46
Have you ever wondered about living in a van? No? Well, if the van life is not for you that's okay. Truly, it's not everyone's cup of tea. In this episode, I start by talking about the Oscar-winning new movie, Nomadland. The movie is about Fern who became "houseless" and now lives in her van. She's still adjusting. I found there are two types of van-dwellers and I discuss both. The demographic for both groups couldn't be more different! On one side there's a person like Fern who is 60 years old and became "houseless" when her husband died. She's lonely. It's heartbreaking. On the other side, there's Stephi, a YouTuber, she's 20-something, and has a completely different motivation for living in a van. She has fun and is carefree for the most part and has friends and parties to look forward to. She has a pretty cool life. I love when I can research people living in a somewhat unique and different way than the average person. So enlightening and I hope it is for you, too. Thank you for listening to this episode. 01 Dec 2017 | What A Week! - Thanksgiving - Black Friday - Shop Local Saturday -Cyber Monday...AND MORE! | 00:29:07
Episode 56 - What A Week! - Thanksgiving - Black Friday - Shop Local Saturday -Cyber Monday...AND MORE! Helloo...this is Stephanie...Talk, Tales and Trivia... Merry, Merry Christmas! So it's begun. All the Christmas shopping. Driving to out of the way stores to buy that one glorious gift for that special someone. Well, this week I free wheel it with no script or bullet points but just speak from the heart about this all American week that begins with Thanksgiving. It used to be Black Friday was the big day after Thanksgiving but no more. Yep. The powers that be can't stop adding days to make the shopping go on, and on, and on! So I mention a few neat-o websites that I like for that perfect day for me, Cyber Monday. Follow my lead with the websites mentioned (also linked down below). Yes. It is fun to sit in front of my computer on Cyber Monday; drinking my forever hot beverage of choice with the Hallmark Channel Christmas movies playing in the background. Could it get much better than that? I think not. But why stop with Cyber Monday? There's even a special day for Tuesday now. And to add to the holiday fun I've even made up a couple of days of my own that I hope will stick for years to come with the general public. We'll just have to wait and see! Oh, we will! Scamper to the kitchen like a little elf and get your favorite hot beverage, sit your weary body down and relax, listen, and enjoy this twice as long episode! Ahhh...now, doesn't that feel good? You know it does. Some Very Important Announcements: *Talk, Tales and Trivia will be coming out with episodes every other week (except for some special Christmas episodes) to give the team more time to do proper research. And this will usually mean a longer episode...so that's good! *Southpaw - A Tale About A Girl's Imagination is no longer on amazon because Stephanie is hard at work revising it after finding a few small things that needed changing and she is busy making the 2nd edition. 29 Jan 2024 | Evil In Savannah - Dystopian Stories Series | 00:10:48
What would you think if you saw injustice all around you? We expect justice, especially in our court system but it seems we don't always get it as is the case of Marcus Johnson, a man serving a steep sentence for a petty crime. It was his case that brought me to Savannah, Georgia, and with my trusty journalist friend, "Anonymous", we were going to solve Marcuse's case and the corruption of the Georgia court system that was happening right before our eyes. The case wasn't easy. We had to deal with a nefarious group, named "The Shadow Consortium". It was filled with demonic people who hated what America stands for. Once we were on the case, we couldn't walk away. Inspiration for this episode can be found in this book: Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil by John Berendt https://amzn.to/4bifMiq I hope you find these short audio episodes interesting and I encourage listeners to do some deep-diving research on the stories told in these episodes. **All in story form, these episodes have truth behind them but please note that I took certain liberties with the people, places, and events in these stories. Episode 53 - Libraries And Ben Franklin Help A Girl Out (that would be me) And Push That PURPLE BUTTON On Your iPhone To SUBSCRIBE Or SUBSCRIBE Via Apple Podcasts (iTunes) In this episode I have so much to talk about and many tales! Exciting times are here as I detail a chat I have with my Aunt and talk about libraries and who discovered them (The hint is in the title). I also have some beautiful raves. In the 1st rave I talk (ramble on) about how it's been an incredibly busy and challenging week...that's where the kindness of others comes in. Yes...they are bright stars in my book (Ahhh...my book...Southpaw: A Tale About A Girl's Imagination) And another bright (and quite handsome) star is discussed in the 2nd rave. YES! I love him! You have to listen to find out who it is, though. (Hint: "Lonestar barbeque sauce. The perfect partner for your chicken.") 25 Mar 2024 | Totality - Dystopian Stories Series | 00:15:46
Totality - On April 8th, 2024 we have a spectacular event happening in the United States. A solar eclipse will be the main show on that special day. We haven't seen a totality solar eclipse since 2017 so perhaps some haven't experienced this glorious event of the moon aligning with the earth and the sun creating a spectacular show. But it is the globalist agenda that wants to instill fear into this special day by giving us warnings of the "impending" doom and gloom. And the globalists want you to know what to expect. So, of course, there is a checklist. We, detectives, get down to some serious truth-seeking to find the evidence about their agenda by doing some real damage to less fortunate inhabitants on Earth. These demonic cowards were found to stop joy and laughter and in the meantime depopulate some "unnecessary" citizens of this wonderful Earth. And if we detectives have it right, it doesn't stop with the solar eclipse. Remember their motto: "Never let a crisis go to waste". Question Everything! Do more research on the solar eclipse with the links below - What do you think? https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2024/03/23/april-2024-total-eclipse-guide/73065430007/ https://spaceplace.nasa.gov/eclipse-snap/en/ **I hope you find these audio episodes interesting and I encourage listeners to do some deep-dive research and go down rabbit holes on the stories told in these episodes. 25 Dec 2021 | Krampus - A Scary Christmas Folklore Creature - Holiday Series | 00:10:42
Merry Christmas! On this episode I talk about the Austrian/German mythical devil that is "Krampus". He visits children (and some adults) in December prior to Christmas as a reminder to be nice. It's actually more like a threat! There is the belief that he will thrash and carry bad children off to hell for being awful throughout the year. So don't do that! Fascinating though he is, we have luckily missed "Krampus" this year because he generally comes to visit on December 5th and 6th. And, yes, now in America there are many movies, and books that bring "Krampus" to life. Some entertainment that we can already speculate as being similar to the way "Krampus" lived his mean life. Think "The Grinch", "Scrooge", and George Bailey in "It's A Wonderful Life" and now movies with "Krampus" as the main scary character. They all have a little "Krampus" in them. Enjoy this episode and be kind and loving to everybody this year or else "Krampus" will visit you, too. 24 Jun 2023 | Algorithms and AI - Yuval Noah Harari | 00:34:05
In this episode, I talk about artificial intelligence and the use of algorithms in today's brave new world (domination) of the 21st Century. And we are all going to have to be brave. Big things are about to go down. Silicon Valley high-powered techies, along with AI guru and World Economic Forum member, Yuval Noah Harari have already started the transformation from the world of conscience/sentient human beings to that of artificial intelligence and the use of algorithms. This might prove to be a horrific mistake because as the World Economic Forum has said to us many times, this is the new normal for civilization going forward. But what if you or I don't want to go forward into the unknown? Or don't want to be in the world of the new normal? We will have to adapt or be left behind with the holdouts... those that can't, won't, and will never make the big leap forward to a world we know little about. 10 Feb 2017 | Valentine's Day - The Best Gifts - It's Not What You Think | 00:12:42
Episode 29 - Valentine's Day - The Best Gifts - It's Not What You Think Valentine's Day is finally here but here's the thing. Stephanie loves the day for different reasons then you'd think. Sure the candy is great but kind of, well, boring. Cards are great but kind of, well, expected. And going out to dinner is, admittedly, a fall back option when you're running out of ideas. There must be something else. A new and different way to celebrate this love-filled day. Well, there is. Yep. Stephanie uncovers her newfound "secret" to Valentine's Day that will surely make even the skeptics delighted. You won't believe how easy it is! So put on that beautiful smile. It costs very little but the dividends will be worth the effort. Bonus! Do these things and you will, more likely than not, get the ultimate in tangible gifts. Wink, wink, nod, nod...say no more. Run, don't walk. Don't waste time. Go get that beautiful hot beverage of choice and perhaps one for your mate, too. Sit back, relax, listen and smile. You've got this covered. *Now get the Talk, Tales and Trivia App in the App Store: *Here's a massive thumbs up and a huge thank you to our Audio Engineer, Cartoonr. I highly recommend him. 05 Jul 2022 | The Winner Is Johnny Depp - And How Social Media Played A Role | 00:31:59
In this episode, my topic is the 6-week Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard defamation trial. Although some listeners may not find this interesting or important, everything about this trial is critical. Domestic violence stops all the victims from being a vibrant part of society. Having a career, building a friendship, and loving family members. All of it is simply too hard. True, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are two celebrities, but that doesn’t make their story not worth hearing. You never know when you will be desperate for a place to turn or if someone will need your help. I summarize the trial and have a few audio clips that are heartbreaking. I don’t hesitate to say that the whole 6-week trial was hard to watch. Domestic and sexual violence create psychological and physical damage that will live with victims, sometimes forever. And if you see something, say something because we don’t want anyone to suffer in silence. Be kind To Everybody Everywhere.

31 Aug 2021 | We Are Being Brainwashed - Truth Bomb | 00:36:17
Do you believe you're being brainwashed? Nowadays, I think we all are in one way or another. But not to worry. Your Truth Detective is on the case. Learn with me how to know when you may be vulnerable to brainwashing. The steps to brainwashing are not complex at all. As a matter of fact, all a brainwasher has to do is know a small amount of psychology to begin the process.
Then there's the exploration of what being a "follower" is. In the end, the word sheep or "sheeple" comes to mind when we talk about "followers". And after I go down the list on "Do this if you want to be a "sheeple", I ask you to ignore everything I said to do and then do the exact opposite. After all, you are smart and don't fall for these tactics, right? That's the way to real freedom. It's all good. Whatever you decide to do, or say or think is fantastic and it's in the constitution's 1st amendment - freedom of speech and the right to peaceful protest is our right as Americans. Don't forget that! We have all the freedom to say and do whatever we want. 17 Mar 2021 | Have We Shifted? - Our Buying Power Before And During Covid-19 | 00:18:43
Are you wondering about America's buying power before the pandemic vs during the pandemic? I've been wondering so I've done some research about how we all spend our time and money. Is it rational? It's very telling to see what exactly we were purchasing and what exactly we are now purchasing. What were our personal favorites before Covid-19? Has it changed drastically during Covid-19? There is no doubt that we have everyday needs, wants, and desires even though we're at home. Nothing really has changed regarding that, after all, we still want to feel good, satisfied, and happy. Americans desperately want an enhanced life and we all want to have our rituals, and indulgences met, whether it be through ice cream, a homemade family dinner, or an interesting and entertaining app from the Apple ecosystem. Are Americans prepared for life after the "new normal"...whatever that looks like? You'll find out in this research-filled episode that is truly all about YOU. Awakening - In the book, Brave New World by Aldous Huxley we read about the use of drugs, drinking, and sex at an early age as pastimes to ease the pain of a submissive and controlling life. I find myself embroiled in a real-life case of debauchery where drugs, drinking, and sex are encouraged at an early age. It's mandatory or else! 24 Feb 2021 | Times Square - NYC - Then And Now | 00:14:42
Times Square in New York City is bustling and crowded. Or at the very least, we all hope it will be that way soon again. But back in the late 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s Times Square was a scary and sleazy drug and, prostitute hang-out. Full of X-rated movies and plenty of trouble. If you wanted to go there, you were advised to go there at your own risk. Until one day a group of city officials (Governors, Mayors, and Police Commissioners) decided to make New York City great again, as it once was so long ago. They decided on cleaning up Times Square since it was in the heart of the city. The "Big Apple" as it was once called, was making its way back, baby. And with a lot of determination, drive, and money from some Hollywood-types, Times Square made its comeback. And now we can all see the glory of Times Square courtesy of our television sets on New Year's Eve as the ball drops on this now empty part of the city due to the pandemic. Hopefully not empty for long! Thank you for listening to this episode! Do you know what the "Big Lie" is? So many people don't know or have never heard about the "Big Lie". But it's all around us. And it's been around since the 1930s. Simply put, the "Big Lie" is a gross distortion or misrepresentation of the truth. Period. We all see the big lie in our lives, on TV news, social media, conversations with friends and family. It's everywhere in today's culture. And we believe it because people in power and authority tell us to. 08 Sep 2022 | Podcast Movement Kerfuffle - Free And Dissenting Speech | 00:20:04
My favorite part of the constitution is the first amendment which our freedom of speech is written about. Without this precious amendment, we wouldn't have the right to speak, share thoughts, and ideas, write books, make movies and art, or anything else. We would be silenced. But what happens when only one ideology or thought is listened to? Confusion, chaos, divisive words, actions, and anger... a lot of anger. I address this issue here in the episode. I tell a story that happened only weeks ago at Podcast Movement 2022 in Dallas, Texas. Suffice it to say, there was a kerfuffle regarding The Daily Wire and the Podcast Movement event and it wasn't pleasant. This might be "the thing" that brings a lot of questions to the forefront. And dissenting views might, hopefully, bring us together in this divisive world. Please! Remember to be kind to everybody everywhere. Well, finally it is spring. I don't know about you but this is exciting news to me. Here I talk about hope and enjoyment. It is in my opinion that mostly all of us can't wait to get outside, be with the people, eat together, go to the beach together, go to movies together, walk next to each other, do everything together. I talk about activist, Jane Jacobs and how she has made an everlasting difference. She believed in the power of fresh air and neighborhoods, communities with parks, and other outdoor activities that bring people great joy and life. I love to know that this spring everyone will be once again united... enjoying the beautiful communities, towns, and cities that we know and love. There will be no more bleakness, depression, and hopelessness. Only goodness and fun I wish for you and your family and friends. Thank you for listening to this episode. I hope you enjoyed it. 22 Jan 2018 | Weight And Work-Out Resolution - The Way I Do It Now | 00:19:15
Episode 59 - Weight And Work-Out Resolution - The Way I Do It Now Helloo. This is Stephanie...Talk, Tales and Trivia Once again I talk about our resolutions and the one biggest resolution that we either have right now, have had in the past or know we will have as a future resolution. I have certainly been captive to this resolution for most of my life and in so doing I have really led a less than happy and exciting life. That is up until recently. Yes. I've discovered, if you let your negative self talk, your thoughts, and feelings take charge you may lead a sad life where you are always chasing your dreams. My weight fluctuated so much that it stopped me from doing many things such as events and parties where I knew there would be food, dinner with friends and family, and going to the movies where there would be snacks and sugury treats just to name a few examples. And even in those occasions where I went to do things, I would sit around and worry about the weight I might be putting on. Always thinking about food, and working out is no fun BUT there is a wonderful end that may just make you feel better. I'm not going to tell you what it is, though. You have to listen to the episode. And there is a great RAVE WITH STEPHANIE at the end. Enjoy! Run! Go right now! Get that favorite beverage and sit down for this episode and use your higher faculty to get what you want in life. A Very Important Announcement: *Southpaw - A Tale About A Girl's Imagination is no longer on amazon because I am hard at work revising it after finding a few small things that needed changing and so I am busy making the 2nd edition. It will be re-released in mid-winter. ALSO...help a girl and her production gang out and push that PURPLE BUTTON on your iPhone (come on...you know the button) to SUBSCRIBE or REVIEW! 10 Dec 2021 | Metaverse - Artificial And Augmented Reality Are Coming For You! | 00:34:36
What is the "Metaverse"? What can I say? There are so many concepts to think about when we want to answer the question. “Singularity”, “Transhumanism”, and the “Metaverse” are some of the hot button words that describe the next era in our reality. Or is it a reality? Is living in an augmented, virtual space a reality? Some would say yes, it can be. You and I will be able to do, be, and decide what happens in our "Metaverse". Well, that sounds cool, right? In this episode, I will leave the question up to you to decide on your own if it's going to self-destruct the beauty of our mind and our physical real world that we do live in. And perhaps the “Metaverse” is a term that is scary to some and curious to others. Any way we look at the “Metaverse”, it's not that new. As a matter of fact, the concept of the technological "Metaverse" has been around for a long time. Carefully studied and crafted for its big reveal. Getting us ready for something that will “blow our minds”, “expand our future”, “make life fun”, “make you more productive”, "buy things with virtual currency" and anything else you want to be, do, or have. Everything and anything is possible. Name it. Put on your “Metaverse” gear and be dazzled at the delights before you. I unlock some basic features of the "Metaverse" from some influential people such as Ray Kurzweil. These people substantiate that the “Metaverse” will make your life here on this planet better if you buy into what they are selling. Or maybe your life will be worse depending on what side you look at it from. Life is in constant change so is it any wonder that eventually technology and the technocrats that make up the future decisions will take over what we do? Is the planet ready to be overrun by the technology of all things such as the life of everyone and the life of all things in nature? Does technology, and technocrats have the key to our future? 27 Mar 2017 | The Kids In The Neighborhood - Growing Up 70's Style | 00:11:03
Episode 35 - The Kids In The Neighborhood - Growing Up 70's Style In this episode, Stephanie takes a trip back to the 1970's...to her old neighborhood, figuratively speaking. The good 'ol times of years gone by when growing up was innocent. Skinned knees and dirty faces were all the rage. It wasn't glamorous but it wasn't meant to be! Playing was hard work and she loved it! It was expected. Some things we never forget and the 1970's is a big part of Stephanie's life. Her informative years. Perhaps, you too, have tales that you want to share with a young person. Tales of a time when there was no Internet (gasp) and we had to make our own fun. By now, you know what is expected of you. Get in that kitchen and make something to drink to soothe and relax you then sit back and listen. 01 Feb 2023 | Evil Fascist Plans for Our Future By Global Elitists - Davos, 2023 | 00:32:18
This episode is about the World Economic Forum's members who attend the big meeting in Davos, Switzerland every January. This year it became clear that there is still a high level of hypocrisy among the members and the elitists. There are open sessions for all of us that we can see on the World Economic Forum website ( http://weforum.org ). But then there are the "closed-door" secret meetings that are clearly where most of the big decisions are made. Corporate leaders, officials, political leaders, and elitists with a lot of money are there thinking hard and networking to wheel and deal, and collaborate. It sounds like hard work. Is it really, though? We hear about the parties, the musical concerts, delicious food and drinks (with lots of meat), skiing, and other activities that I hadn't thought of. 20 Aug 2018 | Nostalgia - Just Remember The Good Nostalgia | 00:13:59
Episode 68! - Nostalgia - Just Remember The Good Nostalgia Stephanie Here...Talk, Tales and Trivia! Well it seems like an episode on nostalgia was in order as I think of my two favorite seasons that are right upon us... Fall and Winter. Ahhh... the nostalgia of walking in the leaves, playing in the snow or, my favorite, hunkering down with an excellent book-book (the kind with pages). There's a lot of history, and advice, regarding this nostalgia topic. My advice, if anyone's asking, is to take it easy on yourself and only have what I consider "good nostalgia" memories. The kind of nostalgia you are going to have fond memories of... like the trip you took when you were twenty-five, or an activity you loved doing with high school friends, and even getting cozy with a blanket on a snowy day. Yes! Just like ME! You know what I would do now if I were you? Get that favorite beverage and snack... go now and get in that recliner with said beverage and snack and... Sit. Relax. Listen. Enjoy. Thank you for making this the best two years in a row that I have ever had! Yes. This Talk, Tales and Trivia podcast is all for you! And I love you. Thank you. 25 Apr 2024 | The Assignment - Dystopian Stories Series | 00:12:42
The Assignment - In the year 2036, we lived differently than ever before. Everything has changed even our education system. It was demonic and stupid. It was brought about by the high echelons of power and we detectives and truth-seekers knew there was a purpose. Dumbing down our world through our educational system was the intention. There was no escaping it. And with this investigation, we were determined to prove it for all to see. Luckily we had much-needed help from a rebellious anonymous group that had the same agenda. Together we all worked to prove that anyone deserved the education of their choosing with no governmental interference. And so it was, America recovered and made it back from the brink of disaster before it changed society beyond repair. Don't believe anything you hear. Question everything because that's when the "real" truth comes out. **I hope you find these audio episodes interesting and I encourage listeners to do some deep-dive research and go down rabbit holes on the stories told in these episodes. The "real truth" is there. **All in story form, these episode topics have the truth within the storyline but please note that I took liberties and creative license with the names, people, pseudonyms, places, and events for a better storytelling experience. 03 Mar 2021 | Are You On Clubhouse Yet? No? Here's What It Is And How To Get There. | 00:09:49
Have you heard about the Clubhouse app? No? Well, it's all the rage! Kind of. It's like this..."If you know, you know. And if you don't know then you have no idea what you're missing". You might be missing something that could potentially bring happiness such as talking to like-minded people on any subject, enlightenment through listening to the innovators of today (like Elon Musk). Or it could be that you need help, friendship, and advice with gardening, how to use the latest technology, or tell a story or two about a dating situation that went awry. And it's the truth. You never know who exactly is going to show up on Clubhouse but if you find that club or room that resonates with who you are, it's always interesting. Perhaps raise your hand and ask a question from one of the many celebrities, experts, musicians, or like-minded and informative people. It's up to you how involved you want to become. But once you start it is a little addictive but in a good way. There is so much opportunity for every person that enters the Clubhouse space. And if you give it a chance it has the potential to help you move ahead in so many ways. So go on, pick a topic and then look for the club or room session to join. It's that simple. You never know who you might meet or how they can help you. Do you think you're ready to moderate a club or a room? Great. You can do that, too. The possibilities are, indeed, endless with the Clubhouse app. P.S. If you would like an invite to Clubhouse please email me. I only have two invites but I'd love to share the experience. talktalesandtrivia@gmail.com Thank you for listening to this episode. I hope you enjoyed it. 13 Sep 2021 | America's Shadow Government | 00:31:59
What is a "Shadow Government"? That is the topic this week on Truth Detective. As some would say, it's very complicated. And it really is! The concept of a shadow government involves many deep, dark, and perhaps, sinister secrets that are invisible to most all Americans. We have two choices here. We can ignore the secrecy of what's going on behind closed doors in the government or we can research and question everything about what's going on behind closed doors. If we choose the latter we might be able to make the incremental changes that will help Americans get back into control, even if it's in small ways. You are never too late to have your dreams come true unless you think they can't become realities. Stephanie learned this one the hard way. When it comes right down to it, only you can make it happen. Life's too short to have your dreams, desires and passions thrown away. Do it right NOW! So you know what's next. Get in that kitchen and make that hot beverage quickly. You have no time to waste. Relax for a moment and listen to this episode but afterward get moving on that dream you always wanted to happen. Whatever it is, it will be worth it! *Here's a massive thumbs up and a huge thank you to our Audio Engineer, Cartoonr. I highly recommend him. 08 Apr 2022 | I Was Canceled - Here's What I Learned From It | 00:37:21
Yes. I got canceled off of twitter two years ago. And worse... I don't even know what I did. It had to be pretty major but I am still waiting for their answer. Here on this episode I talk about "Cancel Culture" and who does it and how wrong and shameful it is. It is definitely "Un-American". Freedom of speech is being attacked with cancel culture primarily by the people who have different ideologies than those being canceled. The school kids, adults... celebrities, politicians, musicians, podcasters... no one is above reproach. Except maybe a few handful of so-called great elites. Listen to hear audio from Chris Rock, Will Witt, Tom MacDonald and more. You will go away knowing much more about what "Cancel Culture" is and what you must do to NOT get canceled with one very serious "Call-To-Action" that you must take like it or not. 06 Aug 2018 | What?! - Banned Books - Banning Is Not Good! - But Freddie Is ;-) | 00:09:52
Episode 66 - What?! - Banned Books - Banning Is Not Good! - But Freddie Is ;-) Helloo...this is Stephanie...Talk, Tales and Trivia! Stephanie just loves this episode topic that is about banning and censoring what we read. It's a great topic to debate but because Stephanie doesn't have anyone to debate with, we'll take her word for it...banning any reading material is not good. Let's see if you agree with her views. Then in Stephanie's rave go on and stand up and applaud a man (and the band) who needs no introductions (we're not telling you who it is). Anyone that has a problem with this rave...well...BRING IT ON...Stephanie has all the comebacks! Come...sit...sit...relax, listen, and think back to a simpler time. Perhaps it was when you were young and innocent OR maybe it was just yesterday. Either way, isn't it nice?! You know it is! 22 May 2017 | It's All Fun And Games - | 00:23:37
Episode 41 - It's All Fun And Games - In this here episode, Stephanie talks about having fun and games. It's all very exciting. The "thinking about having fun while playing games" part. But is it really fun? "Wednesday Game Night" is an actual thing and it's becoming popular once again (Everything is cyclical. Remember that). Of course, game night means board games, card games and kids' games that have been, perhaps, forgotten and need to be dusted of the shelf for a second run. Stephanie also mentions that it's all fun and games until someone...hmmm...can't stand it anymore. We here at Talk, Tales and Trivia are not asking any questions about that one. Perhaps, it's like something that one (?) used to love doing. Like a chore or spring cleaning. You get the point. Put all that aside for now. Get your chips and salsa or popcorn and a favorite drink. 13 May 2022 | Ministry of Truth Courtesy of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security | 00:18:30
If you haven't read the book, 1984 by George Orwell, maybe you ought to really soon. We have a new group at the Department of Homeland Security. The administration is having a tough time deciding on a title... is it the Governance of Truth... Disinformation Board? The Department of Disinformation and what exactly are they doing and watching for? I'll tell you what I think they're doing in this episode. 1984 by George Orwell is a whole different way of looking at life...dystopian, nightmarish, less free, more work... in a nutshell... totalitarian. The authority... the ruling class... the inner party... it seems that you must speak in quiet mumbling whispers, always afraid of Big Brother whose eyes are watching you at every turn. Keep to yourself. Don't think. Don't speak. Don't write. Do what you are told and everything may be okay. Just don't show dissent and if you do... they tell you that you are in serious trouble. And when that happens the torture that you thought was the worst gets even more intense and all for having something called a thought-crime. Psychological and physical tough-guy tactics are the name of the game. Enjoy the wonders of what we have now... it may change quickly! And remember... You can not escape a prison if you know don't know you're in one. 12 Nov 2017 | It's A Hallmark Christmas Season - Oh...it's On, Baby! | 00:22:34
Episode 55 - It's A Hallmark Christmas Season - Oh...it's On, Baby! Helloo...this is Stephanie...Talk, Tales and Trivia. Yep. It's true! In this episode Stephanie talks, and talks, and talks about her love of the Christmas season by highlighting the Hallmark company that includes the two Hallmark cable channels. These are two very important channel's to Stephanie this season. Why? Because of the Hallmark Original Christmas Movies that play all season long. Yes. For Stephanie...it feels so right! So it can't be wrong! She goes into a little history (and we do mean a very little) and then dives right into all the snowy, Christmas-time Hallmark fun. Hey, if you have time, glide on over to the "Countdown To Christmas" on the Hallmark Channel and see what Stephanie's all aglow about. Also, Hallmark has an online game on the website that you can enter to win prizes! Fun! Yes. There is fun for all! There's so much to see and do this time of year but to Stephanie, carving out a little time to sit, relax, unwind, and drink a hot beverage while watching a Christmas movie...or five...is SO worth it! You might say it's the frosting on top of the gingerbread cookie! Well, that just makes us hungry. So now...go quick...get that wonderful hot beverage of choice and throw a blanket on, get in your coziest chair and relax with a Hallmark Christmas movie or two. And promise us that for a couple of hours or so you will let yourself just sit and watch a "feel good" Christmas movie. Stephanie does it all the time and, you know what?...it DOES feel good. Now, The Two Things To Keep In Mind: *The Hallmark Channel has romantic, love story Christmas movies. And...just a heads up here but...the movies usually involve some sort of a love triangle with a hard decision having to be made at the end. And it's pretty much a no brainer on how it's going to end. *The Hallmark Movies and Mysteries Channel has family, feel-good Christmas movies. These kind of movies are perfect for when the whole family is gathered around with a big bowl of popcorn. Either way...you can't go wrong. Some Other Very Important Announcements: *Talk, Tales and Trivia will be coming out with episodes every other week now to give the team more time to do proper research. And this will usually mean a longer episode...so that's good! *Southpaw - A Tale About A Girl's Imagination is no longer on amazon because Stephanie is hard at work revising it after finding a few small things that needed changing and she is busy making the 2nd edition. It will be re-released in mid to late January. Go To The Hallmark Channel Website To See All The Cool Things Stephanie Talked About (and previews to the Christmas movies). http://www.hallmarkchannel.com/ ALSO...help a girl and her production gang out and push that PURPLE BUTTON on your iPhone (come on...you know the one) to SUBSCRIBE or REVIEW! 29 Nov 2021 | We Are Exactly The Same - Is This A World Gone Mad - Must Listen! | 00:40:28
What is it like to be the same as everyone else? We will hopefully never find out but being the same seems more and more likely as time ticks on. The future of humanity does seem to be going toward a futuristic, technocratic society. And that ought to scare anybody. It's the unknown that is completely uncomfortable. In this episode, I review the 1993 book, "The Giver" by Lois Lowry. And eventually, in 2014 "The Giver" became a movie, as well. We quickly learn that everyone in the community is the same. No freedom to speak your feelings, wear what you want, play, sing, dance, or have any kind of enjoyment. The "bad" or destructive behavior is frowned upon and vehemently discouraged. But why? Well, having "difference" was when all the problems and destruction began back and back and back. Many years ago. So "The Elders" in the society, as a whole, decided that in order to make all the destruction and failures go away, all the communities would convert to "sameness", where there will be nothing but success... as far as climate control, famine, war, and so on is concerned. Even humans are successful as long as they keep to the rules of "sameness". Quickly, what would normally be thought of as a utopia (a place with absolutely no problems), if that even exists, becomes a nightmarish dystopia; a hellish place where the problems are insurmountable and hard to fix. Is there any hope of turning back the time, having all memories back once again? Will there be emotions, feelings, and doing what you want when you want? Or is it too late? And what does this movie tell us about our own future? Technology, technocracy, AI, the metaverse, virtual reality, and so much more are big plans that are in the works right now. Scary but true. 04 Apr 2017 | Spring Cleaning - Yep. I Hate It! | 00:14:31
Episode 36 - Spring Cleaning - Yep. I Hate It! In this episode Stephanie is off on a tangent of sorts. Perhaps that's to harsh but she is not shy about letting anyone within earshot know how she feels about spring cleaning. She hates it. Thankfully there is a solution. Martha Stewart has the solution by way of a spring cleaning checklist. Will Stephanie follow the spring cleaning checklist? This "spring cleaning thing" is long, hard, dirty work. Maybe too much long, hard, dirty work for just one person (or any person)! Stephanie does have to admit though that she does like the idea of a sparkling and clean beautiful home. Tune in to find out what happens AND to hear a short Martha Stewart tale. That's bewildering but true. Go right now. Before you start wiping your walls and ceilings and do what Stephanie would do: Get that beverage of choice and take a look around. Now... sit back, relax, close those eyes just a wee bit and listen to this episode first. You have all the time in the world to think about spring cleaning. And besides, there's always next spring! 08 Apr 2024 | After The Eclipse - Dystopian Stories Series | 00:13:48
After The Eclipse - I suspected what was coming after a nightmare I had. We all knew it was coming. We heard about it for months on the news. There was to be a solar eclipse on April 8, 2024. That we were sure of. So, your humble truth detective will delve into how prepared I was for both natural and manmade disasters. With my new prepper friends, I discovered I had a lot to learn. I was on the case... finding evidence-based truth about survival in an uncertain world where we were told we were on our own and nobody was going to save us. With a little know-how, we can all be enlightened using the knowledge that I gained through just a minimal amount of research. And, we all likely have the start of survival/emergency supplies around our homes and don't even realize it. Spend a small amount of time and get ready for whatever fear-mongering debacle is in our future. 06 Jan 2024 | Collectors - Dystopian Stories Series | 00:06:45
Collectors - In the frozen wasteland of Antarctica, the Truth Detectives go to investigate what is going on with weather events related to the so-called climate change. Droughts, hurricanes, earthquakes, and fires were blamed on climate change. Are we being told a lie? And who is making the decisions regarding the weather and why? We unravel evidence by going undercover to get fact-based evidence that saves humankind. I hope you find these short audio episodes interesting and I encourage listeners to do some deep-diving research on the stories told in these episodes. All in story form, they have a level of truth behind them but please note that I took certain liberties with these stories. Cheers, Stephanie Lee |
