I’m taking a break! More like a pause

I’ll be home recovering from fibroid surgery in august and I really want to give myself the opportunity to rest. over the next 8 episodes, i’m going to be re-introducing you guys to some of my favorite episodes, and including yours.

I’m taking a break! More like a pause…

I’ll be home recovering from fibroid surgery in august and I really want to give myself the opportunity to rest. over the next 8 episodes, i’m going to be re-introducing you guys to some of my favorite episodes, and including yours.

This was a rabbit hole I didn’t know I needed! For this week’s “Weird Things About Places I’ve Been” episode, I highlighted Tangier, VA. It’s a town on Tangier Island with ~435 occupants; many of whom are believed to be descendants of the area’s earliest 18th century settlers. I’m taking a break! More like a pause…

I’ll be home recovering from fibroid surgery in august and I really want to give myself the opportunity to rest. over the next 8 episodes, i’m going to be re-introducing you guys to some of my favorite episodes, and including yours.

Remember the butterfly effect? The idea of going back in time and not interfering too much for fear of dramatically altering the “present”? Well, I saw a tweet that juxtaposed that idea with the notion of people not thinking that small acts today could change the future. During his 8 years (96 months) Lexx was housed in different facilities across the country, encountered different types of inmates, co’s and living conditions. I’m taking a break! More like a pause...

I’ll be home recovering from fibroid surgery in august and I really want to give myself the opportunity to rest. over the next 8 episodes, i’m going to be re-introducing you guys to some of my favorite episodes, and including yours.

So I googled "Emily in Paris syndrome" and ya'll...did ya'll know some people ACTUALLY get physically ill when a destination doesn't match their expectations?
