Next, there is some controversy regarding Toronto's building codes. One group is asking an Ontario court to rule that the city does not have jurisdiction to set its own requirements for new construction over and above what's already in the provincial building code. Richard Lyall, President of RESCON (Residential Construction Council of Ontario). Also, Fred Hahn and CUPE are back in the news again. Hahn has asked for a motion to dismiss the human rights complaints brought forth by 72 Jewish union members. Carrie Silverberg, one of the 72 CUPE members involved in the human rights complaints, joins us now to lament the fact that CUPE members are also being forced to fund Fred Hahn's legal defense.
