09 Jan 2024Breaking Free: Challenging the 50-Year Marriage Myth00:29:38

Episode 4: Dive deep into the changing landscape of marriage in this eye-opening episode! As a guide on your journey, I share my personal experiences growing up in a culture that emphasized long-lasting marriages and how my own path led me to question this traditional belief.

Together we will:

🤔💖 Explore the idea that measuring the success of a marriage solely by its duration may overlook the crucial element of quality.

🔄🌍 Unpack the impact of the evolving world on relationships and my theory that individuals today experience more profound personal growth and transformations, sometimes leading to shifts in beliefs and desires that challenge the foundation of a marriage.

🌱💪 Consider the philosophy of marriage as a conduit for growth, emphasizing the importance of both partners thriving individually and together. Understand that staying in a marriage solely for its duration may hinder personal and collective evolution.

👀🚪 Peek into the concept of cleaning out your mental "house" before leaving a marriage, ensuring that you carry forward lessons and growth rather than repeating patterns.

🔍💡 Get curious about your own desires, explore what you truly want from a relationship, and envision a future where both individuals grow and thrive. Remember, the evolving world offers numerous options for healing, mental health support, and personal development.

🌈✨ If you're questioning the happiness and growth within your marriage, this episode invites you to think outside the traditional 50-year framework.

Subscribe, share with friends, and join me on this journey of self-discovery and empowerment! See you next time! 🎧💕

18 Jun 2024Affairs Part 1: The Pros and Cons01:19:54

Episode 20: Hello, my lovelies! 💖

This is the episode many of you have been waiting for! After a few bumps in the road, I’m back at the mic, grounded and ready to dive into the intricate topic of affairs.

In this two-part series, we’ll break down the pros and cons of affairs with a realistic approach. Remember, these are just thoughts and stories, so always check in with your inner truth. 💡

We’ll explore the messy and complex world of infidelity, its impact on personal growth, and what choosing an affair might really mean. If you're in or considering an affair, it’s crucial to understand the implications. I’m sharing three pros and two cons from my experiences and those of my clients, highlighting both the highs and lows.

### Pros:
1. Realizing what's been missing in your life. 🌸 Many women marry for stability but later crave deeper physical and emotional intimacy.
2. Awakening to your sexuality and desires, transforming your understanding of love and fulfillment. 💕
3. Show up for yourself and make a move forward towards honoring what you desire most and is missing. 🌿

### Cons:
1. Labeling yourself as a bad person. 😔 The guilt and mind games can be overwhelming, but it's crucial to challenge harmful narratives.
2. Emotional turmoil from secrecy and lying. Affairs can highlight unmet needs but also bring significant emotional challenges.

We’ll also discuss the stereotypes around women who have affairs, the cultural and religious influences on our views, and how these issues are symptoms of deeper problems in marriages. The roles we think we’re supposed to play are not enough. Women are asking for more—emotional connection, intimacy, and authenticity.

Affairs are not the problem but a symptom of deeper issues. Just like in *Les Mis*, where the main character is punished for stealing bread, we need to look beyond the surface and address the root causes.

Join me as we peel back the layers and embrace the possibility of living a fully expressed and authentic life. 💖

Don’t forget to rate and review if you enjoyed this episode! Your support means the world and helps other women find this podcast. If you're looking for one-on-one support, check out my 90-minute intensives. I'm here to hold space for your truth. 🌈

02 Jul 2024Affairs Part 2: Five Mistakes Husbands Make When They Find Out & What Women Really Want in Relationship (hint, you'll find it in the ACOTAR series)01:10:12

Episode 21: Hey beautiful souls! 🌟

I'm back, and today we're diving into two powerful topics: affairs and the societal shift in romantic relationships. After a family trip to Vegas triggered my CPTSD, I had to press pause and focus on my healing. This break gave me the clarity to bring more depth to our discussions. 🙏

In Part Two of our series on affairs, we'll explore the history of marriage, societal expectations, and the five biggest mistakes husbands make when discovering an affair. These insights will help whether you're dealing with infidelity or contemplating divorce. 💔

Beyond individual marriages, we’re redefining what's acceptable in relationships. Centuries of inequality and hidden abuse towards women are being challenged, and it's time to change that narrative. Let's celebrate our rights to live independently and embrace true mutuality in relationships. 🏡💪

I'll share a personal story about how patriarchy limits men and women, and how embracing our full emotional spectrum can lead to fulfilling partnerships. 🌈❤️ We’ll also discuss "A Court of Thorns and Roses" and its portrayal of relationships based on mutual respect and equality. 📚

Join me as we advocate for a future of true partnership and deep connections. 🌟✨

Episode 24: Hey loves, it's been a minute since I last recorded, and today's episode is all about getting real and raw. I'm diving deep into the messy, uncertain parts of my own journey—especially around what it means to live a good life, and how to handle all the emotions that come with it. If you're considering divorce, you're really going to connect with this one.

14 Jan 2025When the Pain Feels Too Big: Navigating Depression and Connection01:26:41

#41: Hey there, loves. This week’s episode is raw, real, and deeply personal 💔. I’m diving into something I’m currently in the thick of—navigating the waves of depression through the lens of complex PTSD and the abandonment depression cycle, inspired by Pete Walker’s incredible book.

I share how a tough week with my oldest son has brought up layers of emotional triggers that connect back to deep childhood wounds. Together, we’ll explore what this cycle looks like—emotional flashbacks, spiraling shame, inner critics—and, most importantly, tools for working through it.

This conversation is for anyone who’s ever felt overwhelmed by emotions that seem so much bigger than the moment in front of them. It’s a reminder that healing isn’t linear, but it’s worth every step. 🌱

We also talk about the connection between parenting and our own inner child, and how facing the hard stuff can unlock profound growth—both for ourselves and our relationships. It’s messy, it’s real, but there’s beauty in it, too.

Grab your favorite cozy spot, and let’s walk through this together. You’re not alone—I promise you that. 💛

21 Jan 2025Three Life-Changing Concepts for Your Considering Divorce Journey00:58:49

Episode 42: Oh, y’all, this episode is buzzing with energy because I’m back in my flow! 🌊 After a few weeks of slowing down and leaning into the ebb, I’m here to share what it feels like to embrace the natural rhythms of life—and how that can completely transform the way you approach challenges like divorce or deep personal decisions. 💫

This week, I’m diving into three foundational principles that have been life-changing for me and my clients:
✨ How your beliefs shape your reality (yes, it’s time to choose intentionally!).
✨ The difference between power and force—aligning with soul-led decisions rather than external pressures.
✨ Understanding the vibrational frequencies of emotional states—and how to rise above fear and shame into courage, love, and peace.

We’re going deep, so you may want to listen to this one twice! 🎧 Next week, I’ll break down actionable steps to shift your vibration and start creating the life you want, but for now, this episode sets the stage with powerful insights and inspiration.

Remember, my loves, the flow always returns after the ebb. 🌺 Let’s lean into the divine feminine and trust the journey together.

28 Jan 2025Why ‘I Love My Husband’ Isn’t Enough: Changing Your Reality Without Empty Affirmations01:04:10

Episode 43: Hey there, lovely listeners! 💛

This week’s episode is a big one—I’m diving deep into the phrase “Your thoughts create your reality” and unpacking all the nuance behind it. If that statement has ever made you feel overwhelmed, shamed, or even a little stuck, you’re in the right place. 🌀

We’ll explore the emotional traps of shame and spiritual bypassing, and why simply swapping your thoughts for “better” ones doesn’t work. Instead, I’ll walk you through what it really looks like to reclaim your power and transform your beliefs from the ground up. Think of it like tending to a garden—you’ve got to dig up those old roots before planting something new. 🌱🌸

I’ll also share insights into how our subconscious programming shapes so much of our lives and why releasing trauma is the key to truly shifting your reality. If you’ve been feeling stuck, this episode might just be the clarity you need. 💡

This is one to listen to a couple of times, especially when you need a reminder that transformation is messy but oh-so-worth it. 💕

04 Feb 2025Divesting Your Energy from Toxic Systems and Relationships01:15:36

Episode 44: Okay, y’all… this episode has been weighing heavy on my heart, and I need to talk about it today. 💔 A new bill in Oklahoma is trying to repeal no-fault divorce—and it’s just the tip of the iceberg. Christian nationalism is gaining power, pushing laws designed to trap women in unhealthy marriages, and if you think this won’t affect you… think again

But this isn’t just about politics—it’s about power. 💪 The same toxic dynamics playing out on a national level are the exact ones keeping so many of you stuck in marriages where you’re not seen, valued, or free. This episode is a wake-up call to divest your energy from systems that don’t serve you and reinvest it into what actually supports your freedom and well-being. 🚫

We are not going back, and we are not staying silent. 🔥 Tune in, get informed, and let’s start building the communities that will keep us strong—because we’re going to need them.

25 Feb 2025The Dream You Inherited vs. The Dream You Create00:53:22

Episode 46: Ever feel like you’re living a life that doesn’t actually feel like yours? Like maybe the decisions you’ve made—your marriage, your career, your whole damn life—were handed to you rather than chosen by you? If so, you’re not alone, and this episode is exactly for you. 💡

Today, I’m diving deep into The Voice of Knowledge by Don Miguel Ruiz and unpacking the life-changing concept that so much of what we believe about ourselves isn’t even ours. We’ve been programmed—from childhood, from culture, from religion—to follow a script we never agreed to. And when we start to question it? That’s when the real magic happens. ✨

We’re talking:

🔥 The lies you’ve been taught that keep you stuck in your marriage (and in life)
🔥 How to tell the difference between your truth and someone else’s programming
🔥 The power of dismantling those old beliefs so you can rewrite your story
🔥 How listening to your body (not just your brain) is the key to breaking free

And yes, I’m getting vulnerable as hell about my own journey—how my political and personal evolution has changed everything about how I show up in the world. Next week, I’ll be sharing an episode that dives even deeper into that transformation in honor of the protests happening on March 4th.

So, if you’ve ever felt like you’re at war with yourself, if your inner voice is screaming that something isn’t right, or if you just need to hear that you are not crazy for wanting more, then hit play, my love. This episode is for you. 💛

P.S. If this episode speaks to you, share it with another woman in your life who might be feeling stuck in someone else’s dream. And if you haven’t yet, hit that subscribe button and drop a review—it helps so much! 🎧💖

Here’s the deal: So many of us are just coping—putting out fires, managing chaos, running on fumes. But what if instead of constantly trying to “handle” life, we deeply resourced ourselves so that we didn’t need to cope as much in the first place? 🤯 This shift is EVERYTHING, especially for those of you stuck in the cycle of trying to gain clarity about whether to stay or go in your marriage.

In this episode, we’ll break it all down:
✔️ What it means to be resourced (and why it’s different from just having good coping mechanisms).
✔️ The simple but powerful worksheet that helps you see what’s draining you and what’s filling you up.
✔️ Real-life examples (including a deeply personal one from my relationship) of how this tool works.

If you’re tired of feeling exhausted, stuck, and unsure of your next move, this episode is for you. And if you try out this worksheet, I want to hear from you! Drop me an email at decide@stayorgocoaching.com and tell me how it goes—I seriously love hearing from y’all. 💌

Ready to go from coping to thriving? Let’s dive in! 🚀💖

🎧 Listen now, and if you love this episode, don’t forget to rate, review, and share—it means the world to me! 💫

01 Apr 2025Put Your Oxygen Mask on First: Why Supporting Yourself Comes Before Others01:11:51

Episode 51: Buckle up, babe—this episode is a straight-up download from the universe ✨ and I am OBSESSED with what came through. Today, we’re diving deep into something so many of us as women struggle with: putting everyone else first…and losing ourselves in the process 💔.

I’m unpacking why you’ve got to put your oxygen mask on first 🛑✈️ before trying to change the blueprint for your kids, your marriage, your mama, or anyone else.

Through powerful client stories, my own raw truth (including a super emotional share about my oldest son 💔), and real-time realizations, we’re exposing how unprocessed trauma—ours and others’—quietly hijacks our present-day decisions. And the kicker? Most of us don’t even realize we’re doing it.

We're talking inner child healing, boundaries with moms who “mean well,” and why over-functioning is NOT the badge of honor we think it is. By the end of this, I hope you’ll feel deeply seen, wildly empowered, and reminded that you are allowed to prioritize yourself without guilt. Actually—scratch that—you must.

We're diving DEEP into the orgasm gap, the tragedy of hetero sex myths, and what it really means to reclaim your body and your pleasure—especially after divorce. 💦

Whether you're considering leaving your marriage, already divorced, or just feeling disconnected from your own pleasure, this conversation is a permission slip to put YOUR desires at the center. 💖

We talk: ✨ The orgasm gap (and why it’s so damn real) ✨ What makes sex worth having (spoiler: it’s not a hard dick) ✨ Religious and cultural programming that’s kept us silent ✨ The power of community in healing and reclaiming pleasure ✨ And why post-divorce sex can be the best sex of your life 🙌

15 Apr 2025Stop Settling: What A Great Marriage Actually Looks Like01:18:30

Hey y’all 💛 I am beyond excited to share this juicy episode with you because we are going all in on a topic I feel SO passionate about—what actually makes a marriage GREAT. Not “fine,” not “meh,” not “just surviving”—but truly great. ✨

In this episode, I take you behind the scenes of my own love story 💕, share how my definition of a great marriage has radically changed, and break down what I believe is actually required for a deeply connected, life-giving relationship.

We're diving into: 💡 Why emotional adulthood is non-negotiable 🛡️ What it means to be a “secure base” for each other 🧠 How trauma, codependency, and attachment styles affect our marriages 📉 Common myths we’ve all been fed (like “staying no matter what” equals success—nope!) 🔥 The difference between surviving a marriage vs. thriving in one

PLUS—I spill the tea on the real work my partner Joe and I have done to build the kind of connection I used to dream about 🌈.

This episode is a rallying cry to stop settling, start being radically honest with yourself, and dream bigger when it comes to love. You deserve a relationship that helps you soar—not one that holds you back.

💻 Don’t forget to check the show notes for links to my newly refreshed website (hello, branding glow-up!), past episodes that connect with this one, and where to watch the pod on YouTube (yes, VIDEO is here! 🎥).

🧠💗🔥 This one’s a game changer. Let it land. Come back to it. And most of all—know that you’re worthy of a love that feels like home.

22 Apr 2025When the World Feels Unsafe00:35:27

Whoa 😮‍💨 this episode came in hot, y’all. It was not the one I had planned—but sometimes the universe throws something at you that cracks your heart open in just the right way, and you’ve got to go with it. 💥

So today, I'm taking you inside a real-time nervous system ride—from receiving a message in my DMs that hit me right in my childhood wounds, to processing an emotional flashback, and coming out the other side feeling grounded and so connected to my purpose. 💫

This one’s for every woman who’s been told she’s too much, too slow, too sensitive, too anything… and showed up anyway. 🙋‍♀️ I walk you through how I handled that CPTSD moment, what I really think about patriarchal standards of efficiency, and how our current political climate in the U.S. is activating all the old stuff for so many of us.

We talk about what it’s like to question your path when everything feels uncertain, and why staying human—with humor, music, and dance parties—is a radical act of resistance. 💃🕯️

I’m sharing a gorgeous list from Paul Shattuck called “80 Tiny Moves for Everyday Resistance,” and how I'm using it to reclaim my energy and purpose. You’ll hear some of my fave tips (like wearing something meaningful or creating a playlist that reminds you who you are 🎶), and how even the smallest acts can reconnect us to our power.

Whether you're leaning toward staying or going, this episode is a reminder that this work matters—and you are so not alone. 💖 Come breathe with me, laugh with me, maybe cry with me a little too. We’re in this together, babes.
