On July 4, 1981, two years after the disappearance of Christina White, a fisherman on the Snake River found black plastic bags containing body parts of Kristin David, a 22 year old college student who had recently gone missing. On April 28, 1979, twelve-year-old Christina White vanished from her friend's house in the small river town of Asotin, Washington, and hasn't been seen since. Lance, the man living at her friend's house at the time, has become law enforcement's person of interest in this case, and subsequent cases in this podcast. Brandon talks with Karen Dill, who not only went to school with Lance in Chicago's Austin neighborhood, but visited him in the summer of 1970 while he was living in the Bay Area. Plus, there are deep dives on "gimmick rallye" car events, the psychological profile and training of the Zodiac and/or Lance, the emergence of another through-line, the importance of fantasy for serial killers, an eerie and anonymous tip, more classified ads, another victim with startling links to Antoinette Anino, and a jaw-dropping discovery in the Kristin David Case.

An eight year old girl is murdered in Lance's childhood neighborhood when he is 15. He was her YMCA counselor. 

In 1972, a seventeen-year-old girl named Antoinette Anino is found dead on a beach in Santa Cruz, California. Lance is then arrested for breaking into the funeral home in which her body lay.
