Faites la connaissance de Solange, une femme de 65 ans qui a récemment vaincu un cancer du sein. Malgré ses récents problèmes de santé, Solange est un rayon de soleil partout où elle passe. Elle brille visiblement de l’intérieur comme de l’extérieur. Sa force, sa grâce et la gratitude dont elle fait preuve sont une bouffée d’air frais et une source d’inspiration.

Faites la connaissance d’Yvanca, une femme inspirante de 37 ans qui est maman de deux jeunes garçons. Dans cet épisode, Yvanca nous raconte un moment « peau » bien spécial qu’elle a vécu en tant que mère et qui restera toujours gravé dans sa mémoire. Nous abordons par ailleurs l’influence des magazines lorsqu’il est question de peau. Yvanca nous dit également comment elle décrirait la sienne en un mot, et elle nous explique sa belle façon de voir le vieillissement.

À l’âge de 13 ans, Laurie a subi un accident dans lequel son corps a été brûlé à 20 %. On l’a plongée dans un coma artificiel pendant trois semaines, après quoi sa guérison a nécessité une panoplie de traitements. Du port de bandages 23 heures par jour à l’application de nombreuses crèmes et la réalisation d’une multitude d’interventions, nous abordons les défis que cette jeune femme a dû affronter ainsi que sa perspective unique de la peau et de la beauté. Aujourd’hui âgée de 19 ans et étudiante en médecine, Laurie démontre une grande sagesse et est une véritable source d’inspiration.

Meet Castle, a wife, mother, and fierce entrepreneur. Castle moved to Montreal from Malaysia 20 years ago. In this episode we talk about the difference in her skin care routine from when she lived in Malaysia compared to now. We also discuss how she struggled with acne and her process to accepting her skin and the self-confidence she has gained over the years.

Dans cet épisode, elle explique à quel moment elle a pris conscience que ses problèmes de peau étaient étroitement liés à son anxiété, ainsi que comment elle prend soin d’elle pour garder son stress sous contrôle. Nous discutons également de la nécessité de voir des peaux non retouchées sur les médias sociaux et de la réaction de sa communauté face à la transparence dont elle a fait preuve tout au long de son processus.
