04 Sep 2022Mike Patton (Middle Class with guest host Casey Royer)01:33:18

On this episode we talk to Mike Patton of the Orange County band, Middle Class.  Middle Class was one of the first bands from Southern California to play blistering fast punk rock. These young clean-cut Dr. Pepper- drinking guys played shows with bands like the Germs, Screamers, the Zeros and many other first wave punk rock bands. When they released their 7inch EP Out of Vogue, it made a huge impact on many new punk rockers in the scene.  Casey Royer of DI/Adolescents/Social Distortion was one of those youths impacted by this album, so we found it appropriate to have him guest host this episode.  Did you ever wonder how the band came up with their name or the story behind the Out of Vogue cover?  If so, sit back as these two punk rock legends talk about the old days.
