19 Mar 2023 | WGY6@6, Episode 141 - You're Not Wrong | 01:30:51
We Got Your 6@6 Episode 141 You’re Not Wrong: This week’s We Got Your 6@6 brings a fantastic gift to our listeners. We have been blessed with the presence of Gabriel Wren this week! Gabe came to us through a connection before Nashville, and we clicked with him so well that he now seems like family. Gabe has many talents, but some include doing video for live events, promos, and nearly anything you would like. He has a serious eye for the right light, space and place, and he is really a good teacher as well. All we can say is, Gabe - You’re Not Wrong!
Our music guest this week was Shannon Book!!! What amazing conversation we have when Shannon is in the house. He is seriously the big little brother I never had, and I cannot express how much he is loved and appreciated for all he has done for and with us! Shannon, when you talk about the love for those who have served and how we can help them through music, You’re Not Wrong! There are moments in the conversation that surprised the crap out of everyone present. WE brought these two together on the screen, but when we got to the deeper parts of their beginnings, it took an eerie turn. These two were actually involved in similar ways with the same band, but not at the same time. Crazy world!
On 19 March, We Got Your 6@6 Patriot Playtime will feature Jacob Tutor, who is here to help veterans transition into civilian life. Join us to see what he shares about this venture!

21 Jun 2023 | WGY6@6, Episode 155 Calling All Fathers | 01:41:42
On 18 June, We Got Your 6@6 Patriot Playtime shares some very special guests. We need to have a Calling all Fathers moment to thank all those dad out there doing their deal! We have Mr. Scott McEwen starting us out. Scott answers some very deep questions about his relationship with Chris Kyle. They were friends and coworkers before they dreamed of putting “Amerian Sniper” into words to fill a novel. Scott was able to share how deeply affected he was by Chris’s life, and how he worked through so much to come back home. The best part is that he does not focus on his role or how important Chris Kyle was, but instead he focus’ on the importance of the ‘band of brothers and sisters’ are in the military and especially in the face of the enemy.
Our music for the evening was presented by Jamey and Rebecca Bagwell. The Bagwells are newlyweds, and have a talent for writing and singing that has bonded them in so many ways. The connection has brought them to a new house that will have a space to entertain their talents and those of others. They will have a grand opening in July to share all of their ideas and other veteran music and comedy. They are definitely a couple to keep an eye on!

We Got Your 6@6 Episode 105: “Courage and Leadership“ brings us some fun and exciting conversation. Our guest this evening is Theresa Gathers, with some motivational thoughts and shares. She will be here to share her military / security background and where she is now. She is another of our strong women leaders, helping others along the way. Because of her experience with loss, she has shared her story and reached as a leader to others who may be looking for help, or not even realize they need help. Theresa believes in going to the top and being a leader to get mental health in place for those who need it, not just in the military world, but in many other aspects with our world as it is today. Sometimes, because of military roles, mental health issues are not brought on by stress, but by the lack of stress that they are used to handling. We cannot thank Theresa enough for sharing her story, and we will refer to her as being the epitome of courage and leadership in the world we are facing today.
We have a musician that is new to us this week. Mike Donnell is coming to entertain us with his amazing vocals and songs. He is coming via yet another referral by the one and only Jenn Ford~ who has been a blessing in the way of helping to connect us to other veteran musicians! 12 Sep 2024 | Episode 217: THE PEOPLE'S PATRIOT PROJECT: “You Can’t Have a Testimony Without the Test” 08 September 2024 WGY6@609 September 2024 | 01:38:23
This is a very sensitive episode. It will take you through the stories of two men who served, who each have a different story to tell about their experience with suicide after service. There is no single situation that is the same as anybody else’s, but there are people in front of you that want you to be here tomorrow.
We are here with Aaron Hudgins, the surviving spouse of SSG Jari J. Hudgins (US Army / Oklahoma Army National Guard as well as a 26-year veteran in the Oklahoma Army National Guard (AGR-Active Reserve Guard Reserve). Aaron has a lot to share, but in this episode he will delve into life’s extenuating circumstances after losing his wife to death from suicide. After his wife suffered a broken hip while training for her 3rd deployment at Fort Bliss Texas, she would be sent to the WTU at Fort Hood she was going to be medically retired. When she came home, she would die from suicide on 29 April 2018. She left behind 2 beautiful daughters and 3 stepsons. How she died wasn't a selfish act, she made a decision when facing an overwhelming enemy force, the enemy in her head in the form of depression, anxiety and PTSD.
We also have Emmanuel, also known as the musician, Romeo Vaughn. He’s gone through addiction and crisis and admittedly attempted to take his own life. He has had some transformations in life recently by giving his life to Jesus. His first song is one he recently wrote, named His Name Is Jesus. He has another song that was a Crowder cover. The song was All My Hope. After Romeo heads out, we picked out a song from the list of our artists that seems very fitting, Shannon Book with You Are Not Alone.

25 Sep 2024 | Episode 219 - THE PEOPLE'S PATRIOT PROJECT: “Divided by Ignorance, United by Music” 22 September 2024 WGY6@6 | 01:29:05
It is Suicide Awareness Month, and we need to be aware. There is no one answer, no one fool-proof therapy or counseling method that will keep this from happening. It will take all of us and we will need to work together to keep this demon at bay.
This is an episode that shares an amazing man’s walk with grace. Joel Grant Faulisi shares the story of his beginnings and where he is now. There are so many impacts caused by broken bonds, but a military brother or sister separation due to a disagreement in political or ideological differences can leave a void in one’s life. It is difficult enough to navigate life after serving, but the added stress of brotherhood gone south is what Joel confronts in this episode. As he is also a musician, Joel sums it all up in the phrase, divided by ignorance, united by music.
We also have some rocking music on this episode! The first song is I Bow My Head. This is a Patriotic song from Jack. The second song is When Doves Cry, which was a cover of a Prince song. Dedicated to the Minnesota part of the crew. The third song, Living A Lie, was written when he was taking some time off of music.
Next Week's Guests:

Episode 140: “I’m A Patriot” - 05 March 2023
WGY6@6 - Patriot Playtime
We Got Your 6@6 Episode 139: This week’s We Got Your 6@6 brings a great gift to our listeners. This week’s We Got Your 6@6 brings a fantastic gift to our listeners. JD Mossor and his Hometown Music Collective joined us. JD shared his song PATRIOT - which he had sung by a gentleman named Gary Nichols. After his service, he was inspired to write a song, (I’m a) Patriot, to show his support and love for his brothers and sisters who have served. He wanted to continue the mission by creating a positive message, so he built his group, Hometown Music Collective.
WE had the awesome opportunity to give new life to a veteran in need last weekend. Four organizations were able to come together, along with another amazing Navy veteran, to give Jeff a motorhome for him to keep and live in. The veteran had lost his home to the hurricanes in Florida, and was about to become homeless. With a job he wanted to keep and a determination to figure it out, he reached out on social media with his ask. After the Mission heard his call and put out an all-call. This reached us at The People’s Patriot Project, and we were able to make the connections to put him in a wonderfully loved, well-taken care of RV. With gratitude and a camper full of goods, he was able to head back home and start fresh. He is not too proud to claim, I’m a Patriot. Thank you to The People's Patriot Project, Operation Texas Strong, Bourbon Battle Buddies and After the Mission for all the work and time put in to make this happen.
On 12 March, We Got Your 6@6 Patriot Playtime will feature our friend, Gabriel Wren. He will share his amazing stories of working behind the scenes with some very cool people. Shannon Book will share some new music and some hints of what is to come. We all will claim that I’m a Patriot!

Chaplain Ireland is with the Civil Air Patrol and he shares his caring side and how it falls into his position as Chaplain. All seriousness aside, he is very funny as well! He comes from the UK, and he is proud of his heritage as well as his work in the CAP.
Music shared on the show was choice by Jonathan! We started out with a winner by Jenn Ford, called Gold Dust Woman. What an entertaining song! 15 Jul 2023 | Episode 158: If you don’t know where it comes from then you don’t know where its going - 09 July 2023 | 01:30:05
We Got Your 6@6 Episode 158: This episode features the amazing two guests of Brian Romans and his Romans Warrior Foundation, along with our good friend, Gabriel Wren, with Trinity Productions and Chair 55. We will learn about the Roman Warrior Foundation and the mission they are carrying out. There are many angles to Brian and his story and his team, and there are no disappointments here! Hey - if you don’t know where Brian comes from, then you don’t know where he is going. Brian brings the GWOT - Global War on Terror - around the country to show tribute and support for those who have given or lost their lives to the protection of our country and our communities.
Gabriel brings in some of his dry humor, his intelligence and his supreme musical abilities, and shares some new music and an old favorite. He never disappoints, and this interview is not disappointing. Gabe loves the old, the real, country music and he shares his passion on the show. Give Me Back My Country was a song he got to put a video together for J. P Godfrey. It’s a great song about how we need to get back to what the Founding Fathers intended for this country. Next we asked Gabe to play his best song and he chose Ain’t No Looking Back which is a song that he co-wrote with Dave Gibson of the Gibson/Miller Band. Lastly, Gabe chose a song from the archives of a country music legend in Mr. Hank Williams Sr. Lost Highway was the final song of the night and Gabe said that he loved classic country music because. He shares a little of his belief from his training and life lessons: “If you don’t know where music came from, you don’t know where it's going.”
On July 16, We Got Your 6@6 Patriot Playtime will feature exciting guests with comedian Rodney Douglas Norman and musician Blake Luquette.

08 May 2023 | WGY6@6, Episode 149 - People Don't Want to Die, They Just Don't Know How to Live | 01:47:40
We Got Your 6@6 Episode 149: On 07 May, We Got Your 6@6 Patriot Playtime features Mr. Bob Waldrep, who brings his amazing heart and passion, and shares the strides he has made to help and support the trauma of PTS. The big point driven home is that PTS and suicide might release the pain for the individual, but those who are left behind now have a trail of pain and heartache that could maybe have been avoided. Part of the idea behind Bob’s driving passion is the idea that People Don’t Want to Die, They Just Don’t Know How to Live. Bob shares his book and curriculum for training, and he has a new movie coming out, Trauma Comes Home, the Battle of the Warrior Family, that will explore some of the effects of this on the family. In addition to Bob’s support and passion, we have artist and musician, Chad Wooten, with his band Twenty Hands High, bringing music to share. He has been nominated for three Josie Awards this year, and we get to listen to those songs that will keep your toes tapping!
The People’s Patriot Project exists to be the shock and awe when combating the deadly and invisible enemy that is killing our heroes. WE are ready to Be a part OF, not apart FROM, Put Talk Into Action, and conquer the world of PTSD and suicide of our service people. WE are all about making relationships and being the communication that others sometimes let slip by. It’s about those who served, and we are here now to serve them. If WE can be of help, WE are here for you or anyone you know who might need someone to listen and care. I trust Bob’s words, People Don’t Want to Die, They Just Don’t Know How to Live, and sometimes all it takes is an ear to listen and a shoulder to lean on to start the healing conversation. We Got Your 6@6 Episode 121: Tonight’s show is going to be a blast! We have a combination of talents in “humor and lyrics” coming at you with this episode. Chad Hutto is here as our guest and WE have music shared by Joey James. Chad has been spending time with our good friends in Texas, The Texas Strong and the Crutzingers. He performed at a benefit to help raise funds to keep that amazing nonprofit in providing homes for homeless vets. WE are excited to have him on the show. Chad’s stand up humor is inspired by his military background and his desire to work at that which he enjoys.
Joey James is another guest that we have really been looking forward to seeing again. He was here once, but technology kept us from getting a great taste of his music. Joey has an incredible talent for putting his soul into his lyrics. There is a song for every emotion, and some will surprise you. Join us to listen to the reasons behind the songs, and the talented voice that takes you to beautiful places. There is always something new cooking up in Joey’s mind to share with his audience. Listen in to be inspired by the “humor and lyrics” these guests will share tonight!

06 Aug 2023 | WGY6@6: Episode 160: “It’s Not Just Fixing Trucks” - 23 July 2023 | 01:17:24
We Got Your 6@6 Episode 160: On July 23, We Got Your 6@6 Patriot Playtime will share a musician new to the gang. This week we welcome James Adrian - and he will share his story and music with us. James would consider himself as a guy who was “just fixing trucks” when referring to his military experience. We all know that just fixing trucks is an actual big deal in our world. James will share 3 of his current songs with us, and tell the story behind each one of them. He starts out with a song titled Wings. There was a line in the song that says, “I don’t know what this is supposed to mean, I just hope it fixes broken dreams” and I absolutely love that. Sometimes, you don’t have to know the end game to produce the product. Whoever it’s meant for will get it. His second song was called Worse and it was written for his father and dedicated to him, as well. The vocalist in the song is Miss Catherine Grace. Unfortunately, his father passed before he got the chance to hear it. May he Rest In Peace, Mr. Michael Miller. There was a line in this song that talked about teaching your kids so that they don’t have to walk a mile in your shoes and that hit home for me. His last song of the night was called Nothing and it was about losing so many of your friends and family that there’s no more emotion attached to it. You feel nothing. James said he wanted to tell a story in his lyrics and his lyrics definitely do that. James’ music can be found at the following links: www.standpointmusic.com

22 Jan 2024 | WGY6@6, Episode 184 - Make Me Nothing - 21 January 2024 | 01:30:05
Last night had some great guests on the show! We were joined by Christine Walker and Adam Walker (no relation) of At Ease Magazine…. Christine is the Editor of At Ease, and the founder of Devil Doc Publishing. She is always busy with the magazine, and is very thankful for having Adam here with her now! The next release is in April, and it is always offered in print or digital. Adam has his own blog, on which he shares the stories and friendships that helped him get through his 20 years of service. Check this out at www.Takeitontheleftfoot.com and enjoy the message.
Jonathan: Music shared on the show last night was with Cody Strause. He is young, energetic, and active duty right now on Fort Bragg. Also, his music is amazing … Even if it is about a girl that leaves… Song #1 is called 2 A. M. It’s about a girl who ghosted him while he was in Basic Training. He was hanging with a friend strumming on the guitar and this song was born out of emotional distress. The next song he shared was So Much More. This song is about a girl, too. He decided to incorporate more of a bluegrass feel to this song. He wrote it right after arriving on Fort Bragg. Third song shared by Cody is Make Me Nothing. This song is about looking back on things you’ve done in your past that you think you can’t fix. There are so many avenues to go to get past what you’re going through.

27 Feb 2024 | Episode 189: “Opportunities, Circumstances and Choices” 25 February 2024 WGY6@6 - Patriot Playtime | 01:57:52
This episode brings some great guests on the show! We were joined by Amanda from H.O.O.V.E.S. (Healing of Our Veterans Equine Services). She is a passionate and full of fire veteran who is tired of people making excuses for why our veterans are left suffering when there are programs out there and people who want to help. Listen in and hear her talk about the opportunities, circumstances and choices that are made on a daily basis.
Our music guest was an organization guest just a couple weeks ago. Jeremiah Bones might sound familiar to you, and that is because he also goes by David Gambone. Jeremiah shared his songs with us, two of them even live! We heard She Wouldn’t Go - This is the 3rd song he had ever written. It came at a time in life where he and his wife were separated and it took some inward reflection for him to realize that changes needed to be made. The next song Jeremiah shared live for us was Bottled Up - This is another great song that he sang live last night. He also mentioned that it is the title track to his album that should drop sometime in 2024. Slow Down was the last song shared - He started writing this song a long time ago, but never finished it. It wasn’t until way later that he realized he had to go through some things in life before he could finish writing this song. It conveys the message to slow down and live in the present moment. Again, just another example of how we look at opportunities, circumstances and choices that are made daily.

WeP3 Pledge
WE KNOW WHY WE GET TO DO THIS... THANK YOU TO THE SERVICE MEMBERS AND FIRST RESPONDERS THAT HAVE COMMITTED THEIR TIME, SWEAT, BLOOD, LIMBS, FAMILY and LIFE... TO GIVE US THE FREEDOMS WE HAVE THAT ALLOW US TO DO WHAT WE DO DAILY.
We have an amazing guest from the world of EMS on our show. Jamil Moutron is a spectacular steward of the profession he lives. Jamil shares the trials and the triumphs of living in a remote area, where emergency response can take up to 40 minutes to show up! There is also a family aspect, as his son, daughter and wife are all in the first responder and nursing world in the same county and it is as rewarding as it is a challenge! They are the family that could … and did, and does!! We also had another one of our amazing artists on. Dom Cours graced us with his presence - and he is bad - ass! One new song recorded per week - I would say he is on a mission! For his first song he shares Ten Toes: It is an amazing piece about getting your feet on the ground, and what it takes to get started and stay on task. Dom’s second song of the night is Our ever - favorite song, of which we use in our intro for our Sunday show, Roll On! This came complete with the video from when we first met Dom … with the mountain man look! Dom’s third song was written in Iraq, and performed here live, and it was such a great song! Sadly, the mic he had set up lost his voice early on, but we let him run with it, as the guitar piece was amazing! Having Dom as part of our lives helps make us the Family that could … and Did!!

Derek is passionate about the loss of battle buddies, in fact, his claim is, “It’s A Damn Problem”. Derek will share some songs that full of life experience and raw emotion. Break The Chains is the first song he shares and it was about trying to figure it all out. You get to a point where you realize everything has changed and you need to break the chains of the past and move forward with your future. The second song is Will To Survive. This is about going through the struggles of life and all you need to do is find the will to survive. He drew from his military experience in this song and says that you’ve already, hopefully, done the most traumatic thing you’ll do in life. Now you just have to keep your will to survive and life will handle the rest. I like to say all you gotta do is live. The last song that he shares with us is Bad Decisions. He wrote this song with his wife. We all go through that part in life where we’ve strung together some bad decisions. This is about quitting the bad decision-making and moving forward with life. Good choices lead to more good choices. Spotify Link for Derek Stoner is: https://open.spotify.com/artist/3uI24YS8vNA8fysZfb1Y2F?si=USjnDESuQISSlI8cRehj7g

14 Dec 2022 | WGY6@6, Ep. 127 - Nothing Comes Easy 27 November 2022 | 01:22:53
We Got Your 6@6 Episode 127: WE have some friends that we met down in Nashville this last time! Jacob Hale, our friend from the Timothy Newton Band, brought some friends on the show with him, and it was a very endearing conversation. Tammy Folvarcik and her daughter, LaShaya, came to share how they lost Jer Bear (husband and father) to the demons that are out there trying to control the minds of our First Responders who have faced trauma and lost the match. These are some tough conversations, but they are conversations that need to be had, even though “nothing comes easy”. It is a consensus that the only way we can keep this from happening is to put it on the table and try hard to fix it.
This week brought music from another connection in Nashville. JayP joined us at The Bold Patriot and impressed us all. He has a refined voice and his songs are very touching. JayP is also a veteran, and he is here to share the stories of his life as well. JayP learned early in life that “nothing comes easy”, and he is willing to work for everything he can. His music is amazing, and his drive and desire will keep pushing him forward.
The People’s Patriot Project exists to be the shock and awe when combating the deadly and invisible enemy that is killing our heroes. We are here with our guests who have used their inner strength when it seems “Nothing Comes Easy”. 29 May 2024 | Episode 201: The People's Patriot Project “Do Good, Feel Good, Repeat” - 19 May 2024 | 01:48:45
This week our show was sponsored by Healthy Living - presented to us by Brian Kendzor and Andrea Eichmann. We also appreciate those others who are sponsoring our newsletter: Catch22, PoemSpeak, Bottle Breacher, Contagion Effect and Operation Texas Strong. We also have been blessed by the support and company of Miss Kimmer Gwinner! This episode brings some great guests to the show and it is a winning mix! We had the opportunity to hang out with Michael Ponder and hear all about what he is up to! He has been working with the nonprofit, Wish for Heroes, and he spends a lot of time crafting his music and writing with others.
1st Song: Better Days: There’s Always going to be a better day. Working with these songwriters, they put the veterans emotions into songs and send them home with it. To some you may be just a number, that is how they have been since being enlisted, but there is better coming.
2nd Song: Take Me to Tennessee: When they decided to settle in Tennessee, Mike’s wife threw a challenge out to him, for him to write a song about it. He had gotten a scholarship, and it seemed like the right place to go. As he was spending time what Schaeffer Mueller, they sat down and wrote this song.
3rd Song: When the Stars Align : This song was written with Barbara Sims, as they were in a tree house and thinking about how you can sit for so long with nothing, and then one day, the golden nugget strikes and things get better.

We had an amazing guest with Kevin Palmer! He has been on the show before, but he has been busy making changes and growing his business! It was so awesome to get back and catch up with him, and hear about what he has been working on. Kevin opens up and shares about the things that he puts in his songs, including some of the problems he has gone through and the realization that it is up to him to realize that only he is responsible for his own problems, and that is commendable. Kevin shares some of his best music on this episode. He had a new album out just last week called Missouri Rebel. He shared a few songs from the album and some of his older stuff. Summer Rain is the first one shared on this episode. This is one of the first songs he ever wrote. It’s about coming to a realization that only you are responsible for your problems. Then, we go into Dead Man Walking. This one is off of his new album and he’s got a video for it as well. Make sure you go to YouTube and check it out. Cotton Belt Queen is the 3rd song that he shared with us. This is an upbeat different feel off the new album. Every song tells a story and Kevin wanted to make sure that his album told different stories. This one definitely checks the box. www.Kevinpalmermusic.com

Gabrial has created the Smoke Pit Podcast and uses it to reach out to the world of veterans and first responders. 29 Nov 2022 | WGY6@6, Ep: 126 - Nothing Comes Easy | 01:22:53
10 Jan 2024 | WGY6@6, Episode 182 - Find Your 6 - WE Got Your 6 - 07 January 2024 | 01:32:35
We have our new friends, Ed and Dana Abrahamson, joining us after a long day at the dog show in town to share about the passion and mission with Soldiers 6. This organization has done some amazing things, but the best is that they take rescue dogs and make them service dogs by selection, and then they cover the veterinarian for an entire year as well. This is the result of Ed’s great experience receiving a service dog and having the best friend for life. Ed was able to find the support and love needed to keep himself grounded while his 6 were on their way to help. This connection is one that all service people should have after their service. Soldiers 6 is getting it done, so Let’s Get This Done! Ed found his, you need to Find Your 6 - We Got Your 6 when it comes to having someone nearby in a time of crisis.
We start our music out with 1.) Rooftop by Sam Steadman…such a good song. Sam has an eclectic style of music and a great story to tell. This song was about a young man who was going through a tough time and sitting on a rooftop decided it wasn’t his time to go. 2.) Blackwater Shine by Tony Turner. This is a great vocal performance by Tony. This song has such a great rhythm to it. It’s always been a personal favorite from the first time I listened to it. 3.) You Are Not Alone by Shannon Book. As the show progressed forward last night there seemed to be a theme that was persisting throughout. We can be here if you need to reach out and we can reach out to you as well if something isn’t right. Whether it’s a spouse, a service dog, a long lost friend, or maybe sometimes it’s a complete stranger that ends up in your path; however the story unfolds for you, just know that you are not alone. Battle Buddies, no one fights alone. Just know that if you Find Your 6 - We Got Your 6.

30 Jun 2023 | WGY6@6, Episode 156, Just Remember WHY You Have That Right | 01:35:38
We Got Your 6@6 Episode 156: When you just remember why you have that right to listen to what you want to hear, please think of us, The People’s Patriot Project, on We Got Your 6@6. This week’s show has an incredible message, and most of it starts with loving what you did or what you can do for your country. Our night starts off with awesome discussions between our guests and the three of us. Jamie Bunetto, who was in the Marines, and loved his service so much that he went back in after 911, when he thought he was done. Jamie shares about his service and what he is up to now, living near Dallas and moving into a new world of investigations.
Rick Brown is our music guest today and we are excited to learn more about him. He was in the Navy - and wanted to be on the ground and working on SEAL things. He got to travel to places most of us don’t even dream about. He has been able to follow his music desires, and shares not only the songs, but the stories behind them. Listen to “Take Me Back to Texas”, “Long Necks and Honky Tonk Angels”, and “Drinking Man Blues”. Rick is very passionate about what he did and accomplished in the service, and he wants everyone to just remember why you have that right.
On July 2, We Got Your 6@6 Patriot Playtime will feature an exciting guest Michael John and musician, Lo Becker.

07 Feb 2024 | Episode 186: “Let's All Do Better” 04 February 2024 WGY6@6 - Patriot Playtime | 01:40:55
Last night had some great guests on the show! We were joined by Dan Zirbes and Kimmer Gwinner. Dan is with Team RWB and he shared their mission and goals. Music shared on the show last night was organized by Jonathan, and it seemed to be the week of new music from several of the artists in our network. The first song was a newly released song from Lake & Lyndale - Take Me Back. What a song talking about how going down some of those old roads that you grew up on will take you back down memory lane. The second song was from Tony Turner - Everything’s Gonna Be Alright. The correct video is loaded up today. Lastly, we had a unique occurrence last night where someone new to the network was in the comment section and gave us permission to play their newly released song on the show. The final song of the night was Jeremiah Bones - She Wouldn’t Go. What an exciting way to close out the show talking to someone new in the network. You can tune in to next week’s show to find out more about Dave Gambone AKA Jeremiah Bones and what their mission is as well as hear some of his music again.

14 Dec 2022 | WGY6@6, Ep. 129 - Inclusivity and More | 01:08:54
We Got Your 6@6 Episode 129: This week we have an incredible panel with some amazing guests, facts and statistics to share! The theme tonight is “Inclusivity and More”, and we will explore ways to collaborate with those who have similar missions! We have Audry McHugh with us tonight, and she will share her experiences and her passion to help others through her nonprofit organization, Amazonian Warrior Foundation. Audry has put together a plan to organize and recalibrate those who have suffered trauma as a result of their service, specifically in the arena of MST (military sexual trauma). This trauma has grown exponentially, and Warrior After Violence has been created to help treat and support those who have experienced it.
This week brought music from a connection where we have practiced “Inclusivity and More”. . The awesome HollyAnn joins us and shares her incredible music, and the path that brought her to be a supporter of our military and their struggles. HollyAnn has been creating music since she was 8, and her experience since that point has helped to make her the superstar she is today. You won’t be disappointed, accolades come from all around.
The People’s Patriot Project exists to be the shock and awe when combating the deadly and invisible enemy that is killing our heroes. In this episode, we feature Joe Wesner with Ultimate Veteran Adventures. He shares the mission and the experiences they bring on. The purpose behind the hunts and fishing outings is to restore our nations’s veterans to the place they were before they served. 17 Mar 2024 | Episode 190: “No Hate Allowed - DeRate the Hate” 03 March 2024 | 01:34:28
On this episode, The People's Patriot Project brings some great guests on the show! We were joined by Mr. Wilk Wilkenson, who is very busy saving the world, but also has time to run his podcast, “DeRate the Hate”. On this week’s show, he explains how much more worldly good can be accomplished if we can just sit across the table from each other, no matter what background or politic lane we come from, and discuss the available solutions. Wouldn’t it be great if we could find this good attribute in all Americans right now? By choosing No Hate Allowed and to DeRate the Hate we can show all how to reach out and help each other find solutions so that we can all move on to the good stuff.
Our music guest on this show is Seth Reid, a veteran who is also self-proclaimed “Just an oversized country singer trying to make it”, The music he shared was amazing, and we encourage you to take a listen. Maybe his calm nature will help DeRate the Hate in the world as well, and it will certainly be an enjoyable time finding out. Seth brings us three of his songs for the show:
Lawyer Man - He said he started playing a riff on his guitar and the words would come after the music for this one. This song is about when things get rough and it seems there’s nowhere to turn, you don’t know how you’re going to pay the bills, or the Lawyer Man.
Hurricane - There wasn’t a lot about this song to share. It was written around the phrase, “ Outside it may be raining, but in my mind there’s a hurricane.” I’d say the song definitely works.
Too Far Gone - his last song of the night. The song was good, but Seth was a little Too Far Gone - meaning he left the studio and could not get back in…. See the play on words there?
Things coming up:
23 Mar - The People's Patriot Project with WeP3 on the Bayou Shock and Awe Fest
Next Week's Guests:

Jenn Ford has been here before, and this time she has another new release to share. She introduces her new release, “Built for Comfort”. Jenn shares the background for this song, and the first listen is awesome! Jen’s experience in the military and her gifted singing talent wrap together to make her the strong and confident mother, wife, friend and entertainer that she is today.
We are also joined by Nicole Deutschland, who has become a big part of our Patriot nation. Nicole is a Woman Veteran and a Patriot, even though she was not born and raised in the United States. 08 Sep 2023 | WGY6@6, Episode 166, The Bright Side of Patriotism | 01:58:03
On September 3, We Got Your 6@6 Patriot Playtime will share some super amazing guests!! In this episode, we will feature Tim Labatzky of Patriot Owned Businesses, and he will share his mission and what it can do for all of us. Tim did not serve but comes from a history of those who have served. He started Patriot Owned Businesses to help keep businesses running as he saw the recession coming as he had seen his grandfather and parents lose their businesses and were concerned about the employees that would lose their jobs. Lots of talk about what the very word “Patriot” means in this session. Joel Faulisi is a Coast Guard Veteran and is now playing music. After being diagnosed with Parkinsons, he went through some stages of depression following that. Then he found guitars for vets and went through the program. He is now teaching with Guitars for Heroes, even though he deals with tremors in his hands and has trouble holding the pick at times, but what a positive outlook Joel has on everything he is going through. He is currently working on a song for his brother called, “The Brother Song” and last night he shared with us the unfinished version of the song. Check out Guitars for Vets on Facebook for upcoming shows and lessons.

24 Jun 2022 | WGY6@6, Ep: 104 - “Shark Daddy | 01:20:26
Episode 104 brings us some fun and exciting conversation. Our guests include Dan Hudson of Operation Check Six and our Shark Daddy, Waylon McMullan, with his new and refreshing music. Dan has come to us in a very round-about way, from around the country to our backyard here in Minnesota. He will share the mission of Operation Check Six, which helps individuals with songwriting. There are many veterans out there who are putting their stories out there and trying to reach those who need it.
We have an amazing “Shark Daddy” with us today! Waylon McMullan shares his story and his music during the show. He has decided that music is what he wants to do, and the healing that comes with playing, writing, and listening to music is what he wants to share. His ‘real’ job? Well, playing with sharks! Waylon is a marine biologist, and he is studying and tracking sharks. When we asked if he goes in the cages … he does not use cages! Stick with us to hear all about Waylon’s “Shark Daddy” adventures!!!

08 Aug 2024 | Episode 212: The People's Patriot Project - We Got Your 6@6 - 09 July 2023 | 01:35:47
Tonight our show was sponsored by Smart Living - presented to us by Brian Kendzor and Andrea Eichmann. We also appreciate those others who are sponsoring our newsletter: Catch22 (Derrek Iozzio), Operation Texas Strong (Bobby and Peggy Crutzinger), who have just given home #197 to a homeless veteran (https://www.facebook.com/share/p/woX2Wef1Vd5ji7VK/ ), The BOHO HOBO’s Hideaway with Lauren Iozzio, and our very own - Kimmer Gwinner!!!
Al Stitt is a Navy veteran. His mission is to introduce people to a unique system that helps us understand other peoples’ values and communicate with them more effectively. This can be used to help relationships, make it easier to get people to open up about their problems, as well as to help decide on the best approach for dealing with those problems. Al has vast knowledge of the psychology behind our social and emotional systems, and he has a lot of experience with life and career coaching that comes in handy when working with veterans. Al has a passion for helping those who have served, but is also there for any and all who need that kind of support. There were several mentions about how things change when we work together.
Jenn Ford and her husband & manager Eric were able to jump on and share their story and their time with us. Jenn has an album out called “Americana” that most of her music came from last night. Americana is a collection of Jenn’s favorite music from American artists. Her first song was Nutshell, a cover of Alice In Chains from that album. It is one of my favorite songs and Jenn does a wonderful job on the cover of it. The video is also amazing and wants to show vets that you can find your group of people that you can have the freedom to be yourself as well as co-exist with others with all that type of growth and personal freedom. The second song was Gold Dust Woman, a cover of Stevie Nicks. It is another amazing cover and also off of her Americana album. The last song was Woman In Black and it is one of Jenn Ford's Original songs. Great song, great beat, great lyrics and rhythm. She is the “Woman In Black.” Jenn has been a friend for a long time, and she can give testimony to the belief that things change when we work together, and we don’t selfishly hold things to ourselves.

This week brought music from a connection again from Nashville. The WeP3 Nashville Takeover continues with Tammy Jo Dabbs... 29 Nov 2022 | WGY6@6, Ep: 125 - Choices, Changes and Chance | 01:26:55
We Got Your 6@6 Episode 126: WE have some new blood in our lineup today! WE will start out with Mr. James Stokes, who is more well-known to you as none other than Jason Vorhees from our favorite scary movie: Friday the 13th. James has some experience with people and hard work, having been a Marine, firefighter, EMT and a paramedic, and then transitioning to an actor. If that is not enough, his real passion lies with interacting with youth and talking to them about antibullying and anti-suicide messages. He works through the million other options in life, starting with Choices, Changes and Chance, and the interacting factors brought on by each step. WE are hoping to have much more conversation with James in the near future.
Our musician this week actually was the catalyst for having James join us! Dawn Rix has been very busy traveling, attending events and accepting awards. This is the result, of course, of her Choices, Changes and Chance on her life path. Dawn is a strong and hard-working person who has earned every one of her awards. With a passion for helping others, she uses her music and her person skills to spread positivity in all her travels and relationships.

31 Aug 2024 | Episode 215: The People's Patriot Project - We Got Your 6@6 - 27 August 2024 | 01:27:45
We had an amazing guest with Lauren Iozzio. Lauren hails from a family, especially her dad, that cares about taking care of people. She has worked her way into understanding the human brain in a way that she can help them with choices they make. Lauren has been in the field of service as an adult, and has also created a safe and relaxing space for others in her AirB&B called the BOHO HOBOs Hideaway, found in Lexington TX.
Hockett shares his music with us on this episode. Hockett was a Navy Corpsman in service for 4 years. We start the night off with the very first song he recorded. Talk about setting the bar high with 'Dotted Line'. They were in the studio for 14 hours trying to put something together. He went in with a completely different track to record and ended up leaving with this song on record. The next song was No One Else On Earth. This is a cover of a Judd's song that was done with Kimberley Meyer, another one of our former guests. This is on another level. What a heck of a job covering an iconic female voice in country music. Hockett and Kimberley Meyer are both signed with United Republic Records. Lastly, we get to hear 'Red Flags'. This song is about when you're in a relationship and things aren’t going well, but you stay anyways and won’t leave because “something” good is keeping you there. Hockett is currently working on putting together an album and putting the final touches on their 2025 tour. You can find them on Spotify and on YouTube and on WeP3 radio coming very soon.

27 Mar 2023 | WGY6@6, Episode 143 - Soldier on All Fours, with Jason Johnson- Project K9 Hero | 01:09:04
We Got Your 6@6 Episode 143: This week’s We Got Your 6@6 has such a message in so many ways. We are graced by the presence of our guest, Jason Johnson and his mission, Project K9 Hero. Jason advocates for every Soldier on All Fours. He will take us through the steps he has taken to care for the K9 partners, those dogs who give their hearts and souls to protect their handlers and the community. Jason has done much more than advocate, he has a place to care for these workers after they are retired, and some even get to be adopted out.
Our music on this episode brings incredible music from Cody Howell. Strangely, Cody and Jason have a connection, with music and with a Soldier on All Fours. We first listened to his song, “Anyway You Go”, which will have you tapping your toes and singing along. The next song he shared will quickly catch your attention and capture your heart. Cody’s song “Saddle Up” comes straight to the heart, with the message that you can tell someone to saddle up and ride off, but just not tonight. Cody has some amazing talent, and he is working on moving forward with his music.
On 02 April, We Got Your 6@6 Patriot Playtime will feature guest, Pamela McCarthy. She will share her many reaches into the struggling military world and how she supports those. Our musicians will be Lake and Lyndale, who come from Minnesota but are now reaching for their stars in Nashville.
The People’s Patriot Project exists to be the shock and awe when combating the deadly and invisible enemy that is killing our heroes. We will move forward with our boots on and ready to serve those who have served. WE are ready to Be a part OF, not apart FROM, and WE will conquer the world of PTSD and suicide of our service people. Our guests have hopefully been inspired to move forward and help support and empower those who are still with us and remember those who are not. If you want to Saddle Up and help out a Soldier on All Fours, please get in touch with us and we will get you the information to you. #communityheroes #NeverForget #beapartofandnotapartfrom #PatriotPride #

07 Jun 2023 | WGY6@6, Episode 153: “Not Just Any Old Replacements” - 04 June 2023 | 01:26:36
We Got Your 6@6 Episode 153: On 04 June, We Got Your 6@6 Patriot Playtime shares some very special guests. Michael Madsen with Foxhole Internet Radio is here to inform and entertain. Michael is here to let you know about the world of internet radio and how it will work for our veteran and first responder musicians and bands. Michael is aggressively changing the world one radio station at a time. There is no such thing as Not Just Any Old Replacement in his world.
After some discussion about AI and WeP3 Radio, we dive into our music for the show. We last-minute had asked Tim Newton to come on in and share his new music and talk about what is in his near future for the band. Luckily, because they are Not Just Any Old Replacements, he was able to bring along some band members. Justin Silkwood and Derek Dankenbring joined the group and we talked about old times with fun and new times in the plans. Tim explained Man in Nashville, the first song we listened to, as describing the way he felt when he was putting his music out there. He said he felt as if most music sounds the same right now and he just wanted to do his thing and be different from everyone else. Be yourself and just be good at being that. Missouri Throwdown is next and this song was him showcasing what he felt like they were all about in Missouri. Country Girl is a brand new release from the Tim Newton Band and it is a good one! If you want to go and check out the Tim Newton Band, you can find all their info by clicking this link: linktr.ee/timnewtonofficial

This episode should really make all of us rethink our ‘cozy’ lives. We are reminded to not take things for granted and to enjoy each day as it comes. We are joined by Taylor Ullom and Travis Partington.
Always wanting to keep things positive, having Travis share his mission was an amazing time. Travis runs Oscar Mike Radio, and also is part of WAR - We Are Resilient. Taylor Ullom joins in and shares her mission with Guitars for Vets, and also has a new song that will recorded and released in the near future!

18 Jan 2023 | WGY6@6, Episode 133 - Hitting the Ground | 01:13:58
We Got Your 6@6 Episode 133: Tonight’s episode will feature two amazing new guests. While out Hitting the Ground, we have had the fortunate opportunity to meet with members of Wounded Warriors Guide Service right here in Minnesota. Caleb Huss, one of the hunting trip planners, and brand new Vice President of WWGS. Caleb is an Army veteran, and after his own experience has decided that he has a passion for helping other wounded veterans. WWGS uses their hunting and fishing experiences to take small groups of veterans to remote places for fun and activities, but the bonding and camaraderie is the main focus, as that is often where the healing begins.
Our stunning music artist tonight is David Allen Stone. David is still active in the Army, and being a leader looks good on him! So far David is eighteen years in and still loves his job. David re-found his passion for music after joining the service. He was able to spend some time learning music and instruments, and songwriting comes with the package. It was when he lost a dear military friend to suicide that he wrote his song “Bury These Burdens”. This song is in a Country Network competition at the moment. David is Hitting the Ground running with his musical talent, and is hoping to share it everywhere. Saving one life or hundreds makes all of the work worth it.
On 22 January, We Got Your 6@6 Patriot Playtime will feature guest Earl Granville and music artist and entertainer Clayton Q. These guys will make your world a better place, just by knowing who they are. Please make time to stop in and give it a listen!
The People’s Patriot Project exists to be the shock and awe when combating the deadly and invisible enemy that is killing our heroes. 14 May 2024 | The People's Patriot Project: Episode 200: “Together WE are Stronger!” 12 May 2024 WGY6@6 | 01:53:35
This was our 200th episode.
Racquel, Kimmer, Jonathan and Andrea patched this things together without Mr. Petersen in the picture. WE send our condolences to the family of his wife, Coralie, and her sisters. They had a different kind of Mothers’ day, and we send hugs to them at this time.
We had no guests scheduled, but we were able to reach out to some of our past guests and had some surprise guests show up and spend a few minutes with us. We had Racquel Parfait on with us last night. She’s been a massive help with growing The People’s Patriot Project down in South Louisiana, along with Dylan Pitre, who showed up a little bit later in the show. Eric Mello, of Contagion Effect would jump in and hang out for a few minutes. Sounds like Eric is enjoying being a new Grandpa and was celebrating Mother’s Day for the first time with his daughter and grandbaby. Chad Hutto jumped on and spent a few minutes with us. Chad has been with us for a good while and it's been a little bit since we touched base, so it was great meeting with Chad again. Lee Williams jumped in for a few, but was also celebrating Mother’s Day with his family. It’s always great to see Lee. Shannon Book also jumped in for a while. It’s always nice to see Shannon and find out what’s going on in his world. He’s very busy right now booking gigs all the way out into November already. Follow Shannon and hear some great music. Speaking of Shannon Book, you will hear one of his songs here!
Jonathan played a game of ‘pick the song’, which is a more random way to choose from our list of amazing songs. Racquel chose first, and went with B, so that we could be reminded of the moms who have lost sons and daughters to the military mission. Shannon Book has the most amazing way of sharing the words that many others have thought and lived. Dear Mom - Shannon Book
WE then went with a song from a while back, one from our Minnesota friends, and their band, Lake and Lyndale. Coincidentally, that is and actual set of roads up here in Minneapolis! Still Here is one of their newer songs, and you can check them out on Spotify and Youtube for more! Still Here - Lake & Lyndale
A new friend of ours left us with some pretty amazing music, and Amanda Pruitt sends a very strong message in her song, Strong. Amanda works with several young women in the music business in development and stage presence and is currently developing a Troubadora platform for touring women who BRING IT! Strong - Amanda Pruitt
11 Nov 2022 | WGY6@6, Ep: 122 - Gold Dust, Good Friends and Family | 01:23:26
We Got Your 6@6 Episode 122: Tonight’s show is going to be a blast! We have a returning superstar joining us on the show. Jenn Ford has a new release and she is here to share it and tell us all about it. Jenn shares how she found music in her military life, and how it has become the focus of her life and career now. Jenn has a family and home to take care of, but also finds time to follow her passion for playing her music for others. The balance is not easy, but she makes it work. Her new single, GOLD DUST WOMAN is out and available for your listening. Check out her music on Spotify and Apple Music.
Chris and Heather Nobles of Sempre Fi Design join us tonight as well, and with Jenn Ford they discuss all that they appreciate about The People’s Patriot Project. The accolades are very much appreciated, but the message is about the WE. The Nobles played a critical role in the production aspect in Nashville this last weekend. Without them, our time would not have worked out so well. A great big thank you to you both, for what you have done, and what will become of all the hard work you put in!
The People’s Patriot Project exists to be the shock and awe when combating the deadly and invisible enemy that is killing our heroes. 03 Oct 2024 | Episode 220 - THE PEOPLE'S PATRIOT PROJECT -- “What Does the Reflection in the Mirror Tell You?” 29 September 2024 | 01:19:47
It is the end of Suicide Awareness Month, and we will not stop combating this deadly enemy. There is no single answer, no single fool-proof therapy or counseling method that will keep this from happening. It will take all of us and we will need to work together to keep this demon at bay.
This is an episode that shares insights from William Stephens. From his beginnings in Desert Storm, with stories of his deployment as a forward observer, to where he is today, William Stephens shares his experiences and what led him to write his book, The Mirror. The Mirror delves into the lives of individuals grappling with various traumatic events, illnesses, and disorders, with the author personally navigating through post-traumatic stress disorder. It serves as an uplifting read for those battling their inner demons stemming from past traumas.
Stephens labels this work as therapeutic poetry, comprising simple verses and short stories aimed at guiding readers on a journey beyond the surface. Drawing heavily from personal experiences, particularly within the military and relationships, from childhood to the present day.
The Broken Mirror will be out soon - Halloween, which deals with post-service and how he is mending the relationships that were broken while he was gone. Stephens is a persistent person, and his perseverance is driven by the desire to get the word out and help others deal with things he has seen and experienced through service. The help he hopes to accomplish is not just for those who have served … it is for anyone who has PTSD they are dealing with.
Music on this episode: ** Lake & Lyndale - Still Here **Mike Ponder - Better Days **Better Be Tough - John Hensley
Next Week's Guests: Jason Michael Carroll

09 May 2024 | WGY6@6, Episode 199 - If you gonna be dumb, you better be tough, son | 01:22:31
This week our show is sponsored by Healthy Living - presented to us by Brian Kendzor and Andrea Eichmann. We had the opportunity to visit with Mr. Melvin Gatewood, and hear about his Operation Continue mission and hopes. He is busy with his mission of helping those who have served, and in various ways. He has been working with the VA in counseling, but hopes he will have his nonprofit up and running so that he can put all his focus on his mission. Rucks are a big part of what Melvin would like to do, and he is working on a couple big events at the moment.
Jonathan : We are joined by Mr. John Hensley, who will share his amazing songs, each with different meanings and stories. He taught himself to play guitar while he was in Iraq… You will love his smoky voice and the lyrics that entertain and touch the heart.
1st Song: Billy Bourdeaux - funny story about this one … John was sitting in church one Sunday and he was thinking he wanted to write a ballad about murder, and this is it. Encompassed in this song was Louisiana, alligators, hurricanes and a little swamp. He takes a little bit of Night The Light’s Went Out in Georgia, Ole’ Red, and Hurricane to make this song and it turns out great.
2nd Song: Better Be Tough - This one is a kind of tongue in cheek song. “If you're gonna be dumb son, you better be tough.” It makes a little fun out of something we may have all heard. There might also be a little bit of fatherly advice in there, too.
3rd Song: Days Where it Won’t Rain - This is a story about John’s service. He joined the service at a young age and got out to join the police force at 21 years old. “Realized through it all, that the good Lord was there all along.”

22 Feb 2023 | WGY6@6, Episode 138 - Saddle Up but Not This Day | 01:20:42
We Got Your 6@6 Episode 138: This week’s We Got Your 6@6 has such a message in so many ways. We are graced by the presence of both our guests, Kirk Poe and Cody Howell. Kirk has come to share his desire to help heal those who have wounds left from battle, or from harm done in the past. He has the name, Not This Day, to remind all that we can always say no, and whatever may happen later does not have to happen today. Kirk would like to have most of the world get away from the pharmaceuticals and look deep inside themselves to release what is holding them back. Saddle Up, take a listen, and learn about this amazing man’s passion.
Our music on this episode brings Cody Howell’s new songs to the world. We first hear Cody’s Saddle Up, and it is not disappointing. In fact, you may even put it on loop for yourself. Cody appreciates the idea of Not This Day, and he was able to make a connection with his music and the premise of the healing that Kirk can help with. Cody’s next song, Any Way You Go, is a fun, foot-tapping melody with incredible old country type music behind it. Both of these are amazing songs that you will love!
On 26 February, We Got Your 6@6 Patriot Playtime will feature Melody Guptill of Help Heal Veterans. Stay tuned to see who our music guest is, and we will be watching for you!

31 Jan 2023 | Episode 135: “Put it out there, fast and quick” | 01:17:16
We Got Your 6@6 Episode 135: Tonight’s episode brings a guest that has power in her words, but also in her actions. Brandi Pett has had experiences across the board that have given her the strength and confidence to send a positive message to all who think the struggle has just been too much. Brandi has had many adventures with her podcast, and she shares examples of what the power of voice can do for so many. She will want to Put it out there, fast and quick, so be ready to keep up with her in action. Catch her podcast at #iamtheveteran and see what else is happening in her world.
Our music artist tonight was brought to us by Heather and Chris Nobles of #SemperFiDesign. Andrew Wooten has an amazing voice and talent for songwriting. Andrew is a Marine who shares a story of sadness and loss, but has come to terms and put his feelings into song. His song bank is one that you will want to listen to more than once. Coming from South Carolina with an amazing country rock kind of sound, he can get you toe-tapping and dancing in your seat. He brings a put it out there, fast and quick attitude when it comes to his music and his friendship, and I feel he is loyal to the very end.
On 29 January, We Got Your 6@6 Patriot Playtime will feature guest Clayton Q, who will bring his steady hand and way of thinking to the show. He has a great knack for making music and making friends. Please join us next week to meet Clayton and see what WE are up to!
The People’s Patriot Project exists to be the shock and awe when combating the deadly and invisible enemy that is killing our heroes. We will move forward with our boots on and ready to serve those who have served. Using the approach of put it out there, fast and quick, we will be ready to conquer the world of PTSD and suicide of our service people. Our guests have hopefully been inspired to move forward and help support and empower those who are still with us and remember those who are not. If you want to be involved in helping and paying it forward, please get in touch with us and we will find a place for you. #communityheroes #NeverForget #putitouttherefastandquick #PatriotPride

15 Jul 2024 | The People's Patriot Project: Episode 209: “Every Hero Needs a Lifeline” 14 July 2024 WGY6@6 | 01:26:53
This week our show was sponsored by Smart Living - presented to us by Brian Kendzor and Andrea Eichmann.
Our music on this show features some amazing music from Mark Ware. He has stories to tell, and many of those stories can be found in his songs.
1st Song: It’s Gonna Take a Miracle - This is his second run at making his music a living. He was doing great things and running the circuits with Jason Aldean and others when his 14 year old daughter and then went off the deep end and was drinking a fifth of whiskey a night. A friend of his was working on getting his studio up and running again and asked Mark Ware if he would come onto the label and be the country musician for the label. This song was sent to him by a friend in Alabama. This song coincidentally ended up being the story of his life.
2nd Song: Shooting Whiskey Killing Time - He was telling someone about his story…how he lost it all and went astray. When he was in that space there was always time for drinking whiskey and killing time.
3rd Song: I Can’t Touch You - He was raising his son after a divorce and had to tell his girlfriend that her daughter was in an accident a didn’t survive. He realized that God had made him strong enough to handle that at the time. Her daughter was buried right next to his daughter and the girlfriend is now his wife.
**Mark has a new release coming out on July 19 and we will share it with you asap**
Don’t miss Kimmer and Derreck’s poems in our newsletter this week - we shared one of them on the show and it was amazing!

We Got Your 6@6 Episode 157: This show features the amazing Lo Becker. He tells the story of his service and how it lead to his music career. He is a fun storyteller and a truly genuine person. After sharing his beginnings, Lo starts us out with a song that is going up to Brian - “Do it Again”. This one will get you thinking about choices you make and how they affect others. After more banter and conversation, Lo shares that he was also a correctional officer, and that makes him fit our full mission for veterans and first responders. The next song that Lo shares is the first song that he wrote- “Thank ‘Em”. He was reflecting on vets and his friends and how his life has gone when he wrote this one. Lo finished up with the last song, “Riding High”, which is an exceptionally positive song.
On July 2, We Got Your 6@6 Patriot Playtime will feature exciting guests, Brian Romans and Gabriel Wren.

Our guests inspire our listeners to continue the mission they need to better themselves every day and to move forward in helping, supporting and empowering those who are still with us and remembering those who are not. If you ever question why some people act the way they do, and you want to tell them how you feel about it, just remember WHY you have that right, and keep in mind that they also have that right. This episode brings great conversation with Mitch Maki - and he is here to share and teach. He works closely with the families of Japanese American soldiers from WWII. There are so many feels during this episode, with the way the Japanese Americans were being treated in the USA, and the way the men took the call to defend this country in the hopes that it would show the loyalty and desire to be Americans. Find out more about this group at the following website: https://goforbroke.org/ In the end, Dr. Maki agreed that Chris was right in his words, that We are All in the Same Boat, and we can work through this together.
Last night Chris Turner was also here to share some of his new music! Chris has been very busy lately and is putting out some new stuff!! Please go and pre-download the album on ITunes – it will help Chris out tremendously. His EP is called “For The Country”. The first song we hear is ‘All in the Same Boat’. Even Dr. Maki agreed that we’re all in the same boat, for sure. The next song, ‘For the Country’ is the namesake for the album. Chris was at a Gold Star family event and learned about this soldier named Rockie from Dayton, Ohio. Ricky went out to help his fire team and took 2 rounds to the chest and would end up losing his life. This song was rewritten from the original to include Rockie and some of his story. The third song this episode is simply called ‘Keith’. This song was co-written with Cooper Lane, who wanted to write a song about Keith Whitley and then it turned into writing about a personal friend, a man who inspires and impresses with his amazing and supporting personality.
Things coming up:

27 Apr 2024 | The People's Patriot Project: Episode 195 "Rescue Me" 07 April 2024 | 01:17:26
This week our show was sponsored by Healthy Living - presented to us by Brian Kendzor. This episode brings some great guests to the show! We were joined by veteran and podcaster Jenna Carlton, who brings us the mission of VetTalk and The Millinial Veteran. She shares her service and what brought her to want to help others. What a great conversation, learning what those young veterans are facing when they leave their service and don't have the same people around them and the schedule is not the same, nor is it the regimen they are used to. The message we want to share is when they say Rescue Me, we all want to be ready to support.
Our musician guest is Jesse Frewerd, and he is on fire! He shares his service, and what he has done since then, and where he wants to go. He writes songs with his wife and has a desire to make music his full-time gig. His first single that he wrote with his wife is scheduled to be released in May, by the name of Rescue Me.
1st Song: Rescue Me - It’s a song that he wanted to write about after the uniform came off and then it would escalate into this beautiful song.
2nd Song: I’ve Been Where You’re Going - An organization called Songwriting with Soldiers was the avenue for writing this song.
3rd Song: Soldier Coming Home - This song was written with an artist while going through the Creativets program. The intent of it was to highlight that there is good and bad when coming back home. It’s not all bad. This song is also available on Spotify.

22 Oct 2023 | WGY6@6, Episode 172 - Wear the Green and Don't Be Unseen - 15 October 2023 | 01:31:47
In an episode that is more somber than most, we are joined by two very special guests. The very unfavorable topic of MILITARY SEXUAL TRAUMA has caused severe hurt to so many of our veterans, male and female, and it needs to be stopped. The demoralizing act has ruined the self-confidence and morale of some wonderful people, and Kimmer shares her story of disappointment, anger and frustration. There is help, you are not alone, and WE are there for you!! This is why - Wear the Green and Don't Be Unseen! Listen as Kimmer explains the hurt and separation that is caused by these multiple instances of sexual abuse. You will be angry and hurt and will hopefully be driven to help make changes for the better!
Dom Cours is also with us to share some of his new music. He has a few upcoming shows where you can see him play. He’s got a gig on opening night at FARM, which stands for Farmers Assisting Returning Military, and another show on Veteran’s Day at the 5x5 Brewery which happens to be owned by an Army veteran. Check out Dom if you get the chance. His first song on this episode is Aspen Leaves. He tells a story about how he got the opportunity to go hunting in Wyoming and now he’s got that elk hunting fever. The next song was Nobody. He and his brother wrote this entirely fictional song about a guy that caught amnesia. He may or may not have done something wrong before he caught amnesia, but he doesn’t know and everyone else thinks he’s guilty. The last song was called Ten Toes. The title to this song admittedly comes with a few laughs, but it’s about getting your feet underneath you and taking a stand on firm ground. Dom is a long-time friend and artist of WeP3, and we will have him Wear the Green and Don't Be Unseen as well.

18 Aug 2022 | WGY6@6, Ep: 112 - American Warrior Garage with Scott Jones as we ask, "Why Not? | 01:33:16
We Got Your 6@6 Episode 112: In this week’s episode we spend time chatting with none other than American Warrior Garage with Scott Jones. WE met Scott on a support trip to Georgia, and both of us landed at the same place. Scott’s mission is to help injured service members re-adjust to civilian life through job training. American Warrior Garage with Scott Jones as we ask, “Why Not?”. The question was spurred by the conversation between Dan and Scott, and they decided that was the theme for the night! Scott has also implemented a program of Pay it Forward where he puts together a ‘dream vehicle’ for injured service members. Make sure you check out the website for American Warrior Garage with Scott Jones at https://www.americanwarriorgarage.org/ to see the amazing things they have done to support those who deserve the best.
Our music portion tonight was a mix of some of the best! We did a little review of the weekend event in Granite Falls, MN, with the Ride to Remember crew. The weekend started with breakfast and a presentation that included the introduction of Shannon Book, who then shared his soul-touching song, “You Are Not Alone”. Kickstands went up at 11:00 and the ride was a success! The day ended with dinner and more music from Scotty Hasting, Deliberately Broken and JT Thompson. WE will continue to share parts of the day, but the entire six hours of entertainment can be watched on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/patriotproject2018/videos/1093973031514151 . Thank you to all who helped make this day a success!

09 Feb 2023 | WGY6@6, Episode 136: Be part of Not Apart From | 01:16:38
We Got Your 6@6 Episode 136: Our guest this week will bring some fun and sunshine into your life. Jason Spencer visits us with his group, Warriors and Whisky. He also brought along some of the fun guys that developed this group together and they share a banter that makes us chuckle. Jason fills in the parts of putting veterans together, where they can partake in sharing and talking over a smooth glass of whisky. This is another path to wellness and camaraderie that can help prevent the suicides that plague our service members, and will allow them all to Be part OF, not apart FROM.
Our music artist is a brand new friend that was brought to us by Clayton Quisenberry, who has spoiled us with amazing artists. Chazz Wesley is a man of words, and they hit deep. Chazz first shares his song, Twenty-Two, with the message being what it would be if those who went by suicide could come back. Chazz believes strongly in supporting our veterans and first responders, because without them he would not have the freedom to do what he loves every day of his life - and that is sharing music. Chazz shared this notion with his words, Be a part OF, not apart FROM. We love this guy!
On 12 February, We Got Your 6@6 Patriot Playtime will feature guest Laurie Putnam, with Survivors of Blue Suicide Foundation. She will share the mission of the foundation and how to find them for those moments of need.

21 Aug 2024 | Episode 214: THE PEOPLE'S PATRIOT PROJECT ~~ “I Am No Longer No One” 18 August 2024 WGY6@6 | 01:28:57
We have an amazing guest with Charlie Hines. Charlie has his own studio and recorded our Kimmer’s story into a song …. He is talented, He is an Army brat, currently living in Cincinnati Ohio. Works with Veterans through the Cincinnati VA Courage groups. We got to hear him interact with Kimmer as they explained how they met and how he wrote her song … and it is a bit of a heart-string pull. Growing up, Charlie had many different experiences with life. His father was working his way to General, and he cherishes the time he got to spend with him. Charlie has a big heart, and he shares that through his work at the VA with the Courage Groups. He is so talented with writing and producing music, and that keeps him busy in all his ‘spare’ time. The songs we shared last night were perfect to show his talent and his emotional connections to life 🙂 Charlie was a piece that helped Kimmer find herself, and helping her say “I Am No Longer No One”. We also had Kimmer Gwinner herself on the show, and watching them interact with each other for the first time face to face was an awesome experience!
Charlie shares three amazing songs with us. The amazing quality of these songs makes us want to hear all of them! Each song has its own story, and this is a story with all the personal feels. The first song shared is “Something to Say”. This was written about our good friend after she shared her thoughts, poems, feelings and stories with him. He captures the essence of Kimmer and walks us through her journey, good and bad. In the end, Kimmer can say with belief, “I am no longer no one”. In the second song, Charlie writes more about his own life, and the main character is his HERO - his very own father. This song is the most touching dedication to the man who lived his life right and raised his children well. Charlie is proof of this 🙂. Charlie’s last song, Courage to Change, was written for the veterans at his Cincinnatti Veterans Courage Groups. This one is inspired by a woman from a group he works with. She saw something on the wall and when she went to read it, it was Have the Courage to Change. They are lucky to have him around, and he shares this song just for them.

We have Daniel Crawford from 23rd Veteran, who is a major participant of the “Ruck Life” Event. Lots of rucking happening in his world!

18 Sep 2024 | Episode 218 - THE PEOPLE'S PATRIOT PROJECT: “Like, What’s Your Jam” 15 September 2024 WGY6@6 | 01:22:49
This is a very informational and inspirational episode. We are here with Deke Letson who runs the group Veterans Exploration Therapy. There is so much to this program, and the pride put into running this to make all trips come down to the fun and bonding. The best part, as Deke says, is when you run into some of those who have taken part in an adventure and you hear how it was the most exciting thing they have ever done. This was created out of a desire to help other veterans find their way without waiting for space or being on a cocktail of meds before getting some real help. Listen to Deke explain Like, What’s Your Jam, with a mix of his own story and how he came to found the Veterans Exploration Therapy group.
We also have some rocking music on this episode! The first song is Better Be Tough by John Hensley. Our guest was talking about soldiers doing dumb soldier stuff and this song came to mind as he did. This may even be fitting for the saying of the night, Like, Whats Your Jam. The second song is Irish Road by Mikele Buck. This song is a nod to “Route Irish,” about Baghdad Airport Road which is a 7.5 mile road between the green zone and Baghdad Airport. This is such a great song.

23 May 2023 | WGY6@6, Episode 151 - Friends of Friends of Friends | 02:01:02
We Got Your 6@6 Episode 151: On 21 May, We Got Your 6@6 Patriot Playtime features puts three amazing individuals on the show at the same time. This is a gift from Friends of Friends of Friends, starting with our friend, Jenn Ford. WE were graced with the presence of BJ Mezek, and he brought his close friend, and WHAT?! His drill Sergeant, Beatrice Bruno! Beatrice steals the show with her stories of BJ, and the history of how she became a drill sergeant in the US Army. Life is not always easy, but there is nothing that can bring this woman down. She will be a light and a role model for all women who strive to just be more than where they are. BJ comes to us through Jenn Ford, and producing and managing music is the tip of the lengthy list of his talents. Add acting and coaching onto that list and you are still not complete.
Bringing Friends of Friends of Friends to the show makes Jenn Ford amazing as always, and she shares her story, but also adds the personal touch of one of her latest songs, Little Wing. This song is about celebrating the femininity of women. It’s a great tribute to her late grandmother, Mary, who most certainly would be proud of her granddaughter. The last song of the night was a tribute to George Micheal Todd, Jr. who unfortunately passed away.

04 Jan 2023 | WGY6@6, Ep. 131 - Shooting the Poo | 01:21:16
We Got Your 6@6 Episode 131: Tonight’s show promises to be one of pleasure, seriousness and enlightenment. Episode 131 is a total Shoot the Poo show. We have WeP3 and B3 members - Mark, Andrea and Jonathon - on screen to share, ask, discuss and expound on many popular topics. Of course we don’t do any political speech, but we sure do fill up the time! Music has become a staple and a focus with us and our guests. Music has healing properties, Andrea mentioned that by supporting and promoting these musicians, we give them a chance to use this music to heal themselves and to help others heal by listening to and enjoying their music. We shared some music from Dave Bray-Last Call, Brandon Mills-Frontline, CJ Garton-Ferris Wheel and Chris Turner-All in the Same Boat. Behind the scenes, we have Dom Cours every week, on our intro, and last night we shared some of his southern rock in our after-show debrief.
We had a variety of topics happening during our Shooting the Poo last night, including a list of what WeP3 did over the year of 2022.
We talked about tearing down and apologizing. Jon’s message over the weekend was forgive yourself, forgive people, love each other, give to others, give a hug, time, or a handshake.
Mark asked the questions: What lesson did you learn in 2021? And, What do you want to accomplish in 2022? Those questions brought out even more stunning discussions.
We talked about First Responders being in positions that put them in dangerous moments. In 2021, sixty-five emergency responders were struck and killed while assisting others on the roadway. An unknown number of others were injured. The Emergency Responder Safety Institute’s (ERSI) new series of public service announcements, “In Our Boots,” challenges the public to stand in the boots of emergency responders exposed to high speed traffic every day as they save lives on the roadway.
On 08 January, We Got Your 6@6 Patriot Playtime will feature guest Joey McNutt with Hinderless 22, and musician and friend Cody Howell! You will be in awe of this conversation. Please make time to stop in and give it a listen! There will be no Shooting the Poo with this group, only lessons to learn and heartstrings to pull. Please watch our website as we continue to build and blast our events page and donations page out to the world. :)
The People’s Patriot Project exists to be the shock and awe when combating the deadly and invisible enemy that is killing our heroes. We are here with our close group, just Shooting the Poo and having fun. Our guests have hopefully been inspired to move forward and help support and empower those who are still with us and remember those who are not. If you want to be involved in helping and paying it forward, please get in touch with us and we will find a place for you. #communityheroes #NeverForget #PatriotPride

16 Jun 2022 | WGY6@6, Ep: 102 - Patriots and Heroes | 01:23:38
Episode 102 brings the Patriots and Heroes to the front of our talk. On tonight’s show of We Got Your 6@6, we talk with Mr. Kenny Lee of Kenny Lee Productions. He will share his passion for supporting our country's traditions and patriotism, and how he puts those elements together. He has had many service people in his family, including his father, who suffered the silent enemy of PTSD. Through his music, songwriting and production talents, Kenny Lee has created and sponsered many events that show just how much he loves the Patriots and Heroes of our country, past and present, and especially those who fought for our freedoms.
We are also joined in the Patriots and Heroes conversation by Mr. Shane Hudella, of Andrea’s neck of the woods. Shane is the founder of United Heroes League, and their mission is to help military families heal, make friendships and engage in community through sports activities. UHL works very hard to ensure that children of military service members can afford every opportunity to participate in sports. It has grown beyond Shane’s imagination, but continues to support those who are in need.

20 Jul 2022 | WGY6@6, Ep: 107 - Veteran Couture and Care | 01:07:12
We Got Your 6@6 Episode 107: Another episode of learning for us - learning how deeply the love flows from our friends who have served and want to serve for others. Our guest, Carolina Hernandez has an amazing eye and talent for putting together a snappy wardrobe. She uses uniforms to create new and dazzling outfits for our military personal. Carolina’s entire focus has been to bring her family into the business of helping her create these amazing pieces to fit the level of Veteran Couture and Care that the uniforms and those who wear it deserve. Please check out the detail and beauty of this individual on Instagram or her website: @veterancouture and https://www.veterancoutureart.com/ You will be as shockingly amazed as we were to see these creations and learn about Carolina’s care for others.
We have another new-to-us musician this week. Steve D. Wilson comes to visit with us with his amazing lyrics and voice, and he does not fail to entertain. Steve D. Wilson is an award-winning singer-songwriter and a veteran of both the Army and the Air Force. Steve also has an artistic talent that fits into our Veteran Couture and Care, as he is an amazing singer/songwriter with the goal of reaching others to help if he can. The son of a retired Air Force Chief Master Sergeant, he served for 16 years as an Army paratrooper and a B-52 Electronic Warfare instructor. With a unique style, Steve captures audiences through lyrical poetry and soaring vocals. From toe-tappers like “Cheyenne” to the melancholy, heart-wrenching ballad “Worth It”, Steve has solidified his status as a poignant, multi-talented performing songwriter. When you are looking for music that hits you directly in the heart, never forget the D.

10 Oct 2022 | WGY6@6, Ep: 118 - Love Hope Ranch | 01:11:09
We Got Your 6@6 Episode 118: This episode will not disappoint. We have special guest Mike Zannitto joining us with EMT Cop, Peace Keepers for Life, and Love Hope Ranch. Mike is so amazingly in touch with the trauma and PTSD that is the plague of our first responders and our military and his desire is to make a change with the way things are being handled. We discuss the stress of keeping your thoughts and issues to yourself and going to your job every day and pretending that everything is just fine. It isn’t healthy and it isn’t the right way. Mike is a firm believer in keeping these issues much more acceptable in these professions.
We are also graced with music from some of our favorites… we shared music from Sal Gonzelas and his song Heroes Aren’t the Ones Who Came Home and we added a little more lighter music with Chris Turner’s Take You Out (Waffle House). The concept of Love Hope Ranch will grow quickly and WeP3 will enjoy bringing help and support to the world with musicians to this program. It is another way we will be able to reach more with our community heroes!
Please join us on the 9th for our show! We will have John Engfer with Warrior’s Path to share in his mission with the program. He is so full of energy and enthusiasm - you won’t believe it!
