Join Kelly Kopp as he interviews professional photographer Matthew McDermott! Matt focuses his work on humanitarian efforts, conflict, features, portraits and news coverage; nationally as well as internationally.
Kelly and Matt bond over being from Florida, having twins in the family, and working as photographers. Matt talks about his time at The New York Post, covering the tragic events of 911 as they unfolded. He describes one of his most famous photos: a fireman praying at ground zero. Matthew also recounts some of his most vivid stories from his time working with humanitarian aid organizations during the the earthquake in Haiti (2010) and hurricane Katrina (2005).

Piano in the Streets of New York! -With Kristopher Hull
Join Kelly Kopp as he interviews NYC Street Pianist and author of critically acclaimed thriller: “The Raindrop Crossing”, Kristopher Hull!
Kelly and Kris talk about their work together, bringing art and music to people around the world. Kristopher tells Kelly about his upbringing as a world traveler, eventually landing in Massachusetts as a professional cyclist.
Falling sick and being unable to bike, Kristopher fell in love with the piano. He recounts his time traveling the world, healing and playing piano; ultimately finding refuge in New York City. Kelly and Kris then talk about Kris's art today: pushing a piano around New York City playing classical music.
Kristopher tells Kelly about his new book: "The Raindrop Crossing" and how his life inspired the novel. The story follows a concert pianist who is abducted in the middle of a performance and taken across the Atlantic ocean in the hopes of unlocking the secret to developing a successful AI.

Join Kelly Kopp as he interviews Captain, and holder of the world record for fastest flight from New York to London: Leslie Scott!

Christmas Tours In New York City! Plus Christmas Trees & Christmas Decorations info!- With Marco Abbiati
In this episode, Kelly is joined by Marco Abbiati! He is a New York City Christmas tour business owner, he is from Italy, lives in Luxembourg and is a New York city enthusiast.

The Macy's Thanskgiving Day Parade! - With John Friia
In this episode, Kelly is joined by John Friia! He is a digital creator, New York City historian and featured on PIX11's New York Living!
Kelly asks John about his New York Story: Where he's from, What kind of content he does, and why he has such a profound interest for New York City History.
Kelly tells us about his time as a balloon handler in the Macy's Thanksgiving day Parade. How he got the position, which balloons he got to handle, and he tells the story about the time he almost got to High Five a Rockette!
Kelly and John give tips about where to go to see the parade the best. Where has the best view, how to go so you can leave early, and where the best place to go to the bathroom is.
John tells Kelly about the history of the parade. When it started, the original parade route, how the Central Park Zoo was involved. John also tells us about the lengthy process that the balloons and floats go through before they can make it to the day of the Parade.

History of the Holiday Season In New York! -With John Friia
In this episode, Kelly is joined but John Friia, to talk about the history of the holiday season in New York City!
Join them as they talk about the first Christmas tree lighting in the United States! They learn about the inventor of Christmas lights and how they became a staple to the holiday season in NYC.
They then talk about t’was the night before Christmas and the development of Chelsea! How the writer of the poem didn’t want to be associated with it, and how it became a worldwide sensation.

Top 12 Things You Can Do in NYC This Year! - With Secret NYC

The New Yorkers are Survivors. -With 9/11 survivor, Jae's Dad
In this episode, Kelly is joined by Jae's Dad: Huston Watson Sr. He is a business owner, computer engineer, DJ and a Veteran.
Huston talks a bit about where he was born, and how his family came to love Brooklyn. He talks about growing up in a dangerous neighborhood, the friends he made and how he got through it.
He then talks about going into the Air Force, becoming a DJ and meeting his wife.
Kelly also asks Huston about his family, and Huston reflects on what it means for him to be able to become a father and how special that is for him.
Huston then talks about his time working for Merrill Lynch, how he got the job initially, moving up the corporate later and the different jobs he's done for the company.
Finally, Huston recounts his experience on 9/11. He talks about experiencing the first plane hit, helping escort people to safety, as well as the effects that it's had on his life.
But above all else; Huston S. Watson Sr. is a New Yorker.

Learn How The New Yorkers Travel! Trains, Boats and Horse-Drawn Carriages!
In this episode, Kelly is joined by Jae as they discuss some more ways that New Yorkers Travel around the city. And learn about some of the places that they travel to.
Kelly tells Jae about Long Island City and the amazing views of Manhattan that you can find there. He tells the audience a few different ways of how to get there. Taking the 7 train, the ferry from 34th st or from Rosevelt Island!
Kelly then talks about Yankee Stadium. Jae teaches him about the Metro North: Where you can catch the train from, how the different lines work and different reasons why you should use it.
Kelly then talks about getting to and from the New York Airports! how to save yourself some money if you travel via public transit instead of getting a car. He tells you the options for getting to either airport.
They then talk about The LIRR! Jae explains how peak and off-peak work, where all of the different stations are for the LIRR in the city and how it is very useful to get around long Island.
Finally, they talk about horse-drawn carriages and pedi cabs. Learn where to get them, the best practices for getting their services, as well as some information on rides and how they work.
