Ailish Morrison joined The Movie Dweeb Podcast to discuss her favourite and most hated Christmas movies, including How the Grinch Stole Christmas, which led Daniel to recall the time he accidentally flashed his bum in front of Jim Carrey during an interview.

Ruby Redford and Pulp Kitchen's George Pundek put their film knowledge to the test in a first for The Movie Dweeb Podcast, as they were quizzed on everything that happened in the world of cinema during 2024.

The duo were tested on how to actually 'hold space' in honour of Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo's Wicked interviews, they designed their own popcorn buckets rivalling the one for Dune: Part Two, and answered questions about Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Nosferatu and - shudder - Madame Web.

Mia Challis joins The Movie Dweeb Podcast to talk about her appearance as Ruthie in the fourth season of Outer Banks, before playing Who's Most Likely? with the cast, crowning the likes of Madelyn Cline and Drew Starkey.

She also spoke about the fan reaction to her antagonist, Ruthie, joking about her love affair for turtles and her viral interpretative dance on TikTok.

Finally, Ella Purnell joined to chat about her new dark comedy-drama, Sweetpea, chatting about how long it takes her to wash fake blood off of her after filming, and teased the upcoming second season of Arcane.

Alice Johnson joined The Movie Dweeb Podcast to discuss all of the announcements at 2024's D23 Expo, including the many sequels - such as Toy Story 5, Moana 2 and Incredibles 3. We also spoke about the upcoming rides and attractions at Disney's many theme parks.

In the very first episode of 2025, actor Benjamin Byron Davis (the voice of Dutch Van Der Linde in Red Dead Redemption) joins The Movie Dweeb Podcast to talk about his highly anticipated role as Rupert Thorne in Creature Commandos and his thoughts on bringing the iconic DC villain to life in the live-action DC Universe.

Benjamin opens up about what drew him to the role of Rupert Thorne, his excitement about working with James Gunn again, and what it’s like being a frequent collaborator with the visionary director. He also shares a fun twist: his dream casting for a future Batman in the DCU.

Benjamin spoke about his work in Red Dead Redemption, drawing comparisons between Rupert Thorne and Dutch Van Der Linde - two characters who thrive on manipulation, charisma, and their own brand of vision. What would happen if these two characters met?

Joining The Movie Dweeb on the very first episode is celebrity interviewer, Simon Harkness, as he and Daniel Merrifield talk about the critically-acclaimed Dune: Part Two, and how they both managed to go viral with the cast - one via professional journalism, and one by singing Beyoncé's 'Break My Soul' with Austin Butler.

They also spoke about this year's Academy Awards, and mirrored John Cena's incredible presenting. After he stepped onto the stage naked, Simon and Daniel challenged each other to a quiz on all things the Oscars, and whoever scored the lowest, stripped.

Finally, Daniel caught up with the creator of the animated series, Invincible, Robert Kirkman, as they discussed the second season, who Robert would love to star in the live-action movie of the same franchise, and just which superhero could finally beat Omni-Man.

Aimee Vivian hung out on this week's episode of The Movie Dweeb, as she and Daniel spoke about one of her all-time biggest loves; not movies, but dogs. Together, they ranked the canine companions from Marley & Me, Up and Toy Story in one of the most divisive tier lists.

They also put the world to rights by debating some of the biggest dilemmas when it comes to watching film and TV - should you be allowed to eat loud snacks in the cinema? Can you really continue a series without your other half?

Finally, Daniel caught up with star of The Iron Claw, Zac Efron, and the film's director, Sean Durkin, as they spoke about choreographing wrestling sequences (as well as musical numbers in High School Musical) and inspiration from Zac's pro-wrestler buddies, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and John Cena.

Stella Gregg was The Movie Dweeb Podcast's first international guest, as she joined Daniel Merrifield to chat about her first lead role, starring in the Lifetime movie, He Slid Into Her DM's.

She also shared stories about becoming close friends with Rachel Zegler, after the two met during the pandemic, before taking on a quick-fire quiz about the Snow White star.

The actress spoke about filming TikToks and going viral with her father, Clark Gregg, who is most known for playing Phil Coulson in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Finally, Hayden Panettiere discussed her new thriller, Amber Alert, before joking that she should be playing Sam Giddings in the movie adaptation of Until Dawn.
