Symbols are often used to communicate hidden meaning. They help convey meaning to abstract phenomena and ideas. In the bible we find many symbolic representations in speech and objects meant to convey truth, and/or the power of God. In this discussion we investigate symbolic motif in scripture as well as the essence and effect of their use.

The book of Ephesians talks about a setup of 5 ministries that exist for the edification of the church (body of Christ) Some have argued that certain offices like (prophets, apostles, etc...) are no longer in effect. Others also say that a church isn't complete without these five ministries in effect. The purpose of this discussion is to explore biblical knowledge on these questions as well as observations about CCC on the effectiveness of these ministries.

It is a fact that in this life, we will suffer. Jesus tells his disciples in John 16, “…In the world you shall have tribulation…” Suffering has many forms and despite its inevitability, we fight to resist it. What does the bible say about suffering? Why do we suffer? What should we do in the midst of suffering? These and many more questions we will tackle in this episode.

On September 29, 1947, Pastor SBJ Oshoffa received a revelation during prayer about the mission of the Celestial Church of Christ. In this discussion we analyze the divine order statement given to the pastor founder of the CCC and the relevancy of the order in today’s world.

When we analyze scripture we often see a pattern of the revealed nature of God and the nature of man present. We explore in this conversation what the bible has to say in many instances about God as well as man.

The story of Job remains one of the most compelling events in the bible. Many including believers wrestle with the events of Job’s life and questioning God’s judgment or fairness. Others like Job’s friends try to explain Job’s misfortunes as derivative of some secret fault. We investigate this matter closely according to what scripture reveals with the hope of knowing even more about God.

The ark of covenant, the temple of Jerusalem, the brazen serpent, and the cross, are some of the many symbolic tools used in scripture to convey higher spiritual truths of the logos. The parables of Jesus serve in the same manner. The Celestial Church of Christ uses a lot of symbols in its practice. What use are symbols in worship space? Why does God communicate using symbols? Sacrifice is described in many passages of scripture. There are sacrifices rendered to God by God’s people and there are sacrifices offered to idols. What is sacrifice?
