There a few components to a successful heist. Trust, patience, intelligence and a disinterest in murdering defenseless animals. Unfortunately none of these things happen in A Fish Called Wanda. But does that still make that a good movie? They also listen to Notorious B.I.G.'s seminal album, ponder what Khaled is talking about and wondering if the world really needed a sexy Henry VIII TV show. Get excited!

Keep an eye on the pitcher because we got a screwball this week! The gang watches the delightful Preston Strurges comedy, The Palm Beach Story.

The Immortals are nothing but method podcasters. They recorded this a bit too late into the evening which puts them in the right mindset to go down the Amazon with Werner Herzog as conquistadors look for El Dorado in Aguirre, the Wrath of God. They go into ALL of their favorite Herzog stories and occasionally mention why the movie is good. They also dive into the classic Prince album, Purple Rain. Their hearts warm when they let love open the door with Pete Townshend and Jonathan Creek. It's a good episode!

Where did she go? Where did we go?! Regardless, we are back to talk about an early Hitchcock thriller that he made before coming to America. 

Decades ago, a group of Indonesian men ruthlessly killed Chinese communists. In 2012, a documentarian invited these men to create films to depict their notorious moments in The Act of Killing. In 2018, the Immortals look back in the horror of what they've done. Also they review the hit album by MGMT, catch up on last week's food and watch one of the most delightful shows on TV! Enjoy the emotional whiplash.

Before Hannibal Lecter bragged about fava beans, he was in prison and stayed in prison in the film Manhunter. The Immortals look into the Michael Mann adaptation of Thomas Harris' Red Dragon and see how it stacks up to so many more iconic depictions. They also listen to a long Jane's Addiction song and marvel at Planet Earth. Get excited!
