21 May 2020 | In Your House: Beware of Dog | 01:43:04
On May 26, 1996 WWF was presenting the eighth In Your House event. There was a powerful thunderstorm in the area but WWF always brings back up generators for their production trucks. Unfortunately the arena had no backup. Shortly after the first match airs, the feed goes out. WWF had to scramble. A plan for fans in attendance, a plan for those watching at home, and a plan for the wrestlers in the ring. The power returned and the pay per view was back on the air in time for the main event. To make up for this act of God, WWF scheduled In Your House Beware of Dog for the following Tuesday. Monday Night Raw aired in between as scheduled, and the affected the results of the make up show. These few days are one of the craziest stories in wrestling history. Beware of Dog 1 was held at the Florence Civic Center in Florence, South Carolina for 6,000 fans. Two nights later on May 28 Beware of Dog 2 took place at the North Charleston Coliseum in North Charleston, South Carolina for 4,500 fans. To this day, this is the only WWF pay per view to ever take place in South Carolina. Maybe there's a reason for that. It wouldn't be The House Show without tangents. Tune in to this episode as the Trios champions discuss: wrestling themed food trucks, when is it okay to insult a woman, what is "attempted alienation of affection", and could Goldust happen today? Kevin surprises the other hosts by saying something nice about Diana Hart Smith. A fan heckles the wrestlers so much it not only breaks their concentration, but also ours 25 years later. Plus the always popular crickets make an appearance. Tonight's matches include: From Night 1:
(Power Outage)
From Night 2:

08 Oct 2020 | Halloween Havoc 1990 | 02:06:15
It's time once again to break down all the winners and losers over today's 3 hour wrestling event. Except, this time, someone dropped the ball. Find out how Kevin messed up and lost an hour of the PPV. All three hours were seen live on October 27, 1990 in Chicago, Illinois at the UIC Pavilion for 8,000 fans. Four matches were deleted for the VHS release, and that is the version that the WWE Network airs. But the big matches for the World title, the U.S. title, and tag after tag after tag team match are here in their entirety.
There's no shame in supporting this podcast. You can show your love for The House Show with a variety of clothing and other products now available at our store.

22 Apr 2021 | Ninotchka's Reign 7 & 8 | 01:41:36
Welcome wrestling fans to the most jam packed episode of The House GLOW thus far. Be prepared to see all of your favorite ladies multiple times this evening. You’ll be richer for it, but wait until you see how rich one of the wrestlers will be.
Every single lady appears at least twice this evening. First in a Lumberjack match, and later in a tag team battle royal. Plus, someone is going to have to get shoes to match the winner’s purse. There is money up for grabs in not only the battle royal (no, no - not the tag team battle royal - there’s another battle royal in the next episode) but also for any woman who can knock Mt. Fiji off her feet. Plus the scariest move we’ve witnessed in the series.

Spring is here but it's cold in your house! That's because on this week's episode we're heading to Canada. The fourth edition of the WWF pay per view series, In Your House, originating on October 22, 1995, at the Winnipeg Arena in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Over 10,000 fans were in attendance and this is a hot Canadian crowd which adds to the atmosphere of the show. Weeks prior to this event, WWF Intercontinental champion was attacked in Syracuse, NY. Right down the road from where The House Show crew lived. We go through our memories of the event and try to get to the bottom of what really happened. Later we break down Goldust's debut match. The 1-2-3 Kid's slow heel turn. Did Dean Douglas get a raw deal in WWF? All of this and so much more. Tonight's match card will be:

29 Apr 2021 | Ninotchka's Reign 9 & 10 | 02:01:26
Welcome to part one of today’s Thursday wrestling podcast crossover with At Odds with Wrestling. One of your trios tag team champions hosts, Kevin Hellions, won the At Odds Mania for the third year in a row and thus was able to pick a homework assignment for that podcast. In a bit of synergy, Kevin assigns them the same two episodes of GLOW that we are watching this evening. Listen to At Odds discuss these two episodes Thursday evening. This morning though, we debate who is the face (the face?) of GLOW. Men calling women fat. Have we seen this woman before? Plus the two most offensive characters in the history of the show. In other news, what is Kevin’s deep dark secret he refuses to tell on the podcast? Who has a spring to their step? And the Educator busts out a surprising new impression. Tonight’s matches include:
Dementia vs Babe, the Farmer’s Daughter. Ninotchka and Tanya vs Thunderbolt and Lightning. Tiffany Mellon vs Star. Vicky Victory and Cheyenne Cher vs Broadway Rose and Hollywood in a Texas Tornado match. Godiva vs Sally, the Farmer’s Daughter. Episode 10: Stinky vs Cheyenne Cher. Liberty and Justice vs Sara and Mabel in a No DQ, no referees match. Big Bad Mama vs Tulsa. Daisy (with Gremlina) and Evangelina vs Lil’ Fiji and Mt. Fiji. Why is so much happening in wrestling at the same time? It's almost too much for your trios champions. But we break down the biggest events of the week and give some opinions. 02 Jul 2020 | In Your House: Final Four | 01:48:23
WWF In Your House: Final Four took place February 16, 1997 at the UTC Arena in Chattanooga, Tennessee in front of just over 6,000 fans who were guaranteed to see a new WWF champion crowned. This is a crazy set up so buckle up. The Royal Rumble saw a controversial finish. Steve Austin was eliminated but the referees didn't see it. He came back in and eliminated Vader, the Undertaker, and Bret Hart thus winning the Rumble. The plan all along was to have these four men face off again at In Your House: Final Four to decide a definitive winner who would then go on to face the WWF champion (Shawn Michaels) at WrestleMania 13. The problem was, Shawn Michaels didn't want to lose his title to Bret Hart. I mean, Shawn had a knee injury. I mean, Shawn "lost his smile". No matter what the truth was the fact is Shawn Michaels gave up the WWF title three days before this pay per view at Thursday Raw Thursday Live. This four way match that was meant to crown a new #1 contender is now for the vacant WWF title. We go over all of this on the podcast and so much more. Hot Pokemon talk. Matty Treats introduces us to the world of car sushi. We ask what kind of person Shawn Michaels was back in 1997. We discuss sending money via Western Union. One of the biggest WWF debuts of all time as "Funky Gold Gunn" shows up. This is then overshadowed by the debut of Chyna! We follow all of this up with the biggest top 5 debate in show history. Tonight's card includes:

20 Aug 2020 | Unforgiven: In Your House | 01:48:41
Tonight is a night of firsts. The first Unforgiven event. The first Inferno match. The first evening gown match. All of these first took place April 26, 1998 at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina in front of over 21,000 fans. This is a hot show for more than one reason. WrestleMania was the previous show and the era of Austin has begun. It's a new era for the rest of WWF as well. Alliances have changed. Characters have altered. The entire company is following Stone Cold's example and not looking back. The Nation of Domination has mutinied their leader and the Rock is the newest cool heel. The new D-Generation X is upsetting everyone in WWF. Wrestlers from another promotion are invading. The women finally get a match and it's a real monkey's paw be careful what you wish for. One of the most dangerous matches in the WWF makes its debut. Finally, Mick Foley shows why he was one of the best Superstars in all of the WWF during the late 1990's. All of this plus the breakdowns and tangents from your trios hosts. We go yachting. Was Ric Flair at Unforgiven? Which wrestlers do we have a new respect for thanks to the In Your House series? Nothing makes sense about the NWA angle. Why was Sable so popular? We call the Superstar Line then rank Jeff Jarrett's musical performances. Plus so much more. Tonight's matches include:
Triple H vs. Owen Hart. Chyna is suspended above the ring in a shark cage. The New Midnight Express (Bodacious Bart and Bombastic Bob) (NWA tag team champions) (with Jim Cornette) vs The Rock 'n' Roll Express (Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson). Luna Vachon (with The Artist Formerly Known As Goldust) vs Sable in an Evening Gown match. The New Age Outlaws (Billy Gunn and Road Dogg) (WWF Tag Team Champions of the Worrrrrrrrllllldddddd) vs LOD 2000 (Animal and Hawk) (with Sunny). The Undertaker vs Kane (with Paul Bearer) in an Inferno Match. Stone Cold Steve Austin (WWF Champion) vs Dude Love. The Retro Network’s own Kevin Decent (@MaskedLibrary) along with his two best friends “Sweet” Matty Treats (@MattyTreats) and Matt “the Educator of Excellence” are revisiting the WWF’s In Your House pay per view events over the course of the worldwide quarantine. 21 Sep 2020 | 26.5 - The Run In: Masked Mideon | 00:24:06
Here's hoping the listeners have a well balanced healthy breakfast to go with their Monday morning aural coffee. This episode of the Run In is about new challenges! First off, the Masked Library Kevin Hellions takes over hosting duties with a question for his co-hosts. Could he get into ring shape, and if so - which wrestler body type could he obtain? This conversation goes about as well as can be expected. Then, we take a look outside of our usual wrestling domain and look to the East. New Japan G1 Climax 30 has begun. Matty Treats and the Educator enlighten Kevin about the 30th incarnation of this prestigious tournament and this might just be the first of many times this is discussed on the show. No matter what shape you're in, you can show your love for The House Show with a variety of clothing and other products now available at our store.

05 Oct 2020 | 1.5 - The Run In: The Draft | 00:47:22
It's time to shake things up again! This Friday on Smackdown will begin the 2020 WWE Draft. Every talent from Raw or Smackdown is eligible to switch shows. This, in theory, inspires new matches, fresh starts, and new opportunities. And that usually works for one or two people that are moved around each year. When your trios tag team champions were younger we used to do mock drafts of wrestlers all the time. To get wrestling fans excited and to reminisce, we will be holding our own draft on the next two episodes of The Run In. The rules are simple. Anyone on Raw, Smackdown, NXT, or AEW is eligible. Tag teams count as one pick but a faction has to be broken up. This will be a snake draft so whoever has the third pick in one round then has the first pick in the next round. We already shocked each other with our picks now it's time to shock the listeners. Don't forget to let the hosts know if you agree or disagree. This starts off cordial, gets heated, and next week is sure to be even more intense. If you're feeling a bit drafty why not buy some warm winter clothing with our logo? You can show your love for The House Show with a variety of clothing and other products now available at our store. This week, The House Show is sponsored by HalloweenCostumes.com and Fun.com! 16 Jul 2020 | In Your House: Canadian Stampede | 01:44:58
Arguably the hottest crowd in WWF history. Reactions so loud they literally, not figuratively, shake the building. At the height of WWF's Hart Foundation vs the United States feud this event is held north of the border. Taking place July 6, 1997 from the Canadian Airlines Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada in front of over 12,000 of the most passionate fans you'll ever hear. Bret Hart returned to the WWF and found a changed landscape. Fans were behind a foul mouthed rebel by the name of Stone Cold Steve Austin. Bret blamed the disrespectful bloodthirsty culture of America. In one of the most creative ideas in wrestling history Bret and the rest of the Hart Foundation were the biggest villains in the United States and cheered as heroes in every other country. In other action, two future world champions battle it out. The WWF begins to toy with a light heavyweight division to counter WCW's cruiserweights. The Undertaker's original challenger for tonight's World title match is injured, so who do they call as a replacement? All this wrestling talk plus the opinions and stories you've come to know and love from your hosts. Wrestling related face mask talk. A tale of public urination. Cowboy hats! Who is Mrs. Calgary? Detailing the events behind tonight's light heavyweight and World title matches. We discuss our favorite Farmer's Daughter songs. Finally, the Educator singles out a member of the Hart family. WWF In Your House: Canadian Stampede matches include:

25 Jun 2020 | In Your House: It’s Time | 01:31:15
WWF In Your House: It’s Time took place December 15, 1996 at the West Palm Beach Auditorium in West Palm Beach, Florida in front of nearly 6,000 fans. Best of all it was presented by Milton Bradley's Karate Fighters! This is an extra special episode today. This is the bedroom episode! Due to some internet connection issues both the Educator and the Masked Library have moved their electronics into the place where the magic happens. The podcasting magic. Magic like fantasy booking two wrestlers switching characters. How tall is seven feet tall? Breaking down the work of Glenn Jacobs with the world's number one Fake Diesel fan. Kevin questions how many wrestlers actually watch tape of their opponents. Which moves look too dangerous? Does anyone in WWF give veteran wrestlers a try out to see if they can still work before signing them? Tonight's matches include:

01 Oct 2020 | Halloween Havoc 1989 | 01:49:04
It's time for season 2! Welcome to the newly christened Haunted House Show podcast. For the next 12 weeks we will take a look at the entire NWA/WCW Halloween Havoc series. Every year. Every match. Your trios tag team champions will carry over the top 5 matches and top 5 shows rankings just like we did for In Your House. NWA/WCW was a different beast than the WWF product at the time. More emphasis on wrestling instead of sports entertainment. This inaugural event features many familiar faces in more serious personas. Tonight's show took place October 28, 1989 at the Civic Center for 7300 fans in one of the greatest cities for wrestling: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Jim Ross and Bob Caudle call the action. Gordon Solie and Chris Cruise do all of the backstage interviews. Everything about this show is different than what the WWF In Your House series showed. There is not just one type of wrestling out there, and jumping from 1990's Attitude era to this is a culture shock. To ease listeners into this change, your hosts promise to stay the same. Matty Treats talks about his terrible work week. We talk about the strangest things we've ever done on a lunch break. Goodwill finds. Filthy retail stories. Heel announcers. Comparing WWF work to NWA work. A surprising amount of body discussion. All of the match break downs and opinions you've come to love. Which match will be the Hot Tag of the Week?! Plus the story of "Yum".
The Samoan SWAT Team (Fatu, Samu, and the Samoan Savage) (with Oliver Humperdink) vs. The Midnight Express and Steve Williams (with Jim Cornette). Tommy Rich vs. The Cuban Assassin. The Fabulous Freebirds (NWA tag team champions) vs. The Dynamic Dudes (with Jim Cornette). Doom (with Woman) vs. The Steiner Brothers. Lex Luger (NWA United States champion) vs. Brian Pillman. The Road Warriors (with Paul Ellering) vs The Skyscrapers (with Teddy Long). Ric Flair and Sting (with Ole Anderson) vs. Terry Funk and the Great Muta (with Gary Hart) in a Thunderdome match with special referee Bruno Sammartino.
There's nothing scary about looking your best. Nor is there anything scary about supporting your favorite wrestling podcast. You can show your love for The House Show with a variety of clothing and other products now available at our store.

A tag team nearly breaks up. Sara and Mabel continue to be awful. The commentary falls deeper into misogyny. Plus four first round matches in the Run for the Rubies tournament.

This episode was taped November 15, 1986 (aired November 29) at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena in LA, CA before 16,000 fans. We discuss a rare heel vs heel match. Hulk Hogan endlessly fed new challengers. Roddy Piper's face turn. Debate over masks and twins. Who is Brian? Plus, how much TV time remains for the main event? All of this plus food discussion that's both tasty and disgusting. Who among us is brave enough to attempt to conquer the Meat Mountain?! Tonight's matches include:

It's time for the sixth episode of Saturday Night's Main Event featuring Uncle Elmer vs King Kong Bundy in the Battle of the Big Boys! This show was taped May 1, 1986 (and aired May 3) at the Providence Civic Center in Providence, Rhode Island. In other action, Hulk Hogan opens the show when he teams with the Junkyard Dog accompanied by the Haiti Kid and they take on Terry and Hoss Funk along with Jimmy Hart. The British Bulldogs take on the Iron Shiek and Nikolai Volkoff in a two out of three falls match. THAT infamous Jake Robets and Ricky Steamboat moment. Plus the beginning of the Adrian Adonis: Bump Machine portion of the show. Meanwhile the life updates you've come to know and love. Kevin is in the middle of intense comic book negotiations. Treats has a fast food adventure then gives a wrestling buddies update with a shocking turn. We also debate how many times is enough times to use an inappropriate word. Tonight's matches include:

09 Jul 2020 | In Your House: ‘Revenge of the Taker’ - 15 - ‘A Cold Day in Hell’ | 01:58:39
These two shows flow together so well that we finished talking about In Your House 14 and continued into the 15th installment. We didn't want to tell you all about the set up that takes place on 'Revenge of the Taker' and make our listeners wait a week for the pay off at 'A Cold Day in Hell.' Plus, take a look at these two events on the WWE Network. The graphics are exactly the same, only the dates have changed. Revenge of the 'Taker takes place on April 20, 1997 at the Rochester Community War Memorial in Rochester, NY in front of nearly 6,500 fans. Steve Austin is about to become the hottest thing in all of professional wrestling. A month earlier at WrestleMania 13 was the infamous double turn in which Austin became a face and Bret Hart turned into WWF's biggest heel. The Hart Foundation is here hating America while simultaneously beloved in Canada and other countries. Some of the Attitude Era's biggest stars are here, just before breaking through. Tonight's matches include:
Spoiler alert. Austin wins that match. Which brings us to the second feature, In Your House 15: 'A Cold Day in Hell.' This event is held May 11, 1997, at the Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, VA in front of over 9,000 fans. WWF is heating up and the talent who will help them win the Monday Night Wars is here. It is amazing to see so many future WWF champions on this card. Back when none of us could have imagined what these Superstars were about to do and the amazing careers that lay before them. Tonight's matches for the second part of the show include:
Your hosts discuss these matches and so much more. Shazam! Watching The Rock try to escape from Rocky Maivia. Where does Savio Vega reside? Door banners! Hype central! Bret "Crybaby" Hart. Then on part 2 we wonder if the Chyna gimmick would work today. Fantasy booking a better version of the Nation of Domination. All this talk plus two matches that surprised us. Along the way we debate if WCW could have used their own version of NXT. How exactly does one check DNA? Is this the worst announce team we've ever listened to? How much happened "earlier tonight?" What is a Voodoo Match? Breaking down Stinky’s gimmick. More work rate and character discussion. Plus, which one of us is a big fan of Melody “Trouble” Vixen? Woooo! In other news there is more discussion of WrestleMania weekend. An MRI update. Plus, will Kevin get the show cancelled? GLOW matches for Episode 3 include:

17 Aug 2020 | 20.5 The Run In: The Mangler Arrives | 00:20:21
It's another Monday morning and what better way to start the week than with the House Show crew? We are joined today by one of our longtime friends, The Mangler. The four of us reminisce over fantasy booking wrestlers while sitting on the porch. We then look back to six years ago when the WWE Network launched and the first things we watched on the new platform. All four of us remember our favorite wrestling collectibles we used to own that we wish we had back. All of this plus the usual banter you've come to expect from the trios champions of retro wrestling. This trios team has been watching wrestling all their lives and debating the outcomes since high school. Join them each week for a new podcast and invite them in your house.

16 Apr 2020 | In Your House: The Triple Header | 01:40:54
For the first time ever, all three WWF titles will be on the line in the same match! It's the WWF world heavyweight champion Diesel teaming up with the Intercontinental champion Shawn Michaels as they challenge the WWF tag team champions Yokozuna and Owen Hart. With four men in the main event, we needed four men to discuss the events of the evening. "The Masked Library" Kevin Decent, "Sweet" Matty Treats, and the Educator of Excellence are joined by longtime friend and living internet wrestling legend, Krone Meltzer. In 2006, a young wrestling fan got into an argument on one of the biggest pro wrestling message boards of the day. He took this fight to the new media, YouTube. From there he became a phenomenon. Calling people out, breaking news, building his legend. Billed as the illegitimate son of wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer, Krone has been mostly silent for years. He joins the House Show this evening for his first viewing ever of the WWF at this time. WWF In Your House: Triple Header took place September 24, 1995 from the Civic Center in Saginaw, Michigan. Just over five thousand fans and thousands more on pay per view watched the following matches that will be discussed on the podcast:
But wait! The main event is in jeopardy. A story that continues throughout the evening. What happened? Who will win? Who is actually in the building and will be in your house? The House Show podcast features The Retro Network's own Kevin Decent along with his two best friends Matt and Matt as they revisit WWF In Your House pay-per-view events from the '90s over the course of the worldwide quarantine. This trios team has been watching wrestling all their lives and debating the outcomes since high school. Join them each and every week and invite them in your house! Follow along with each podcast! Sign up for a 30-day free trial of the WWE Network and watch all the In Your House pay-per-views. Plus, you'll get so much more content from the '80s and '90s eras including Wrestlemanias, Summerslams, and events from other leagues like WCW and NWA. 12 Apr 2021 | 2.5 - The Run In: Wrestlemania Predictions | 00:53:54
WrestleMania predictions? On a Monday? After the two night event? That's right. A spin on prediction shows as only The House Show can provide. On today's episode Matty Treats and Kevin Hellions have predicted who they think will win previous to the show airing live. Any podcast can make predictions before the event and ret-con their choices. But only the House Show commits to their predictions, right or wrong, by putting the picks out there the Monday after. Where they can lay before the judging ears of those who watched the event. Who will win? Who will lose? Did we get anything right? We can justify all of our predictions but that doesn't mean the WWE writers have the same logic. Listen today and don't judge us too harshly. A week later and your trios tag team champions are finally recovered from their WrestleMania trip. It’s time to talk about the purchases, the food, and the shenanigans that took place in the Roc. Happy Turkey Day! It may be a holiday but your favorite retro wrestling podcast doesn't take days off. A perfect way to celebrate the day is with our discussion of the 1997 event featuring possibly the greatest Halloween Havoc match of all time. Taking place on October 26, 1997 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas in front of nearly 12,500 fans. Some of the greatest matches in this series take place on this show. And maybe one of the worst as well. Will the good matches outweigh the bad when we rank this edition on the overall list of all Havocs? In addition to the matches we get excited for Raven and the Flock. We debate working wrestling angles with ex wives. Does CM Punk have a doppelgänger? When was Miss Elizabeth at her peak? All of that plus your trios tag team champions sit around the table, give thanks, and tell some stories. Hear all about our Thanksgiving plans. What is the best soda for the holiday season? Listen to Matty Treats and Kevin Hellions reminisce over their infamous Mountain Dew and gallon of milk challenges. In a shocking moment, an audible has to be called on today's Hot Tag. Plus the biggest Top 5 discussion in show history. Tonight's matches include:

The AEW World title changed hands and we will see the new champion again on... Tuesday?! That's right, the new AEW World champion Kenny Omega will appear on Impact Wrestling. We speculate on what this new wrestling promotion team up could mean for both companies. Plus, where does the NWA fit into this alliance? 08 Jun 2020 | Bonus Episode - Battle Royal at the Albert Hall | 01:52:52
How did we decide to review this event outside of our usual series? This was a request from listener Nick Opalewski! None of us had ever watched this event before and were looking forward to seeing something old but brand new to us. This event took place October 3, 1991 at the Royal Albert Hall in London, England in front of 5,000 fans. This is a few years before WWF In Your House began so there is plenty of talent seen here that we have not had the occasion to discuss. The Battle Royal was just added to the WWE Network in February 2018 and previous to that was a difficult event to find on VHS. Trust us. This is on the WWE Network but it's a bit difficult to find. Type in Albert Hall and that will help. Your hosts start by throwing love and praise on your announcers for this evening: Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby "the Brain" Heenan. Were the Nasty Boys good? Who is the real world's champion? Why didn't Tito Santana change his trunks? How is a wrestler "fat" and fast? We point out the differences in the ring between now and then. Why do we keep looking at the Texas Tornado's feet? The Undertaker has one of his greatest ring entrances of all time. Why do some of these guys look so big? Allegedly. All of these questions plus match break downs, side tangents, and witty banter. Tonight's match card:

30 Jul 2020 | Badd Blood: In Your House | 02:07:09
"Now we got bad blood!"
In addition to the contest announcement on the show we also share too much personal information. We debate how to introduce new characters. How the WWF addresses deaths of their talent. The best way to book Vader. Who is the Poochi of the WWF? And to the pain of the other two hosts, how many Taylor Swift references can Kevin cram into this show?
And wait, who's that?! That's gotta be.... That's gotta be KANE!!!!

03 May 2021 | 5.5 - The Run In: Hot Tag with Karen Flieger | 02:15:26
It is time to hear all about the woman behind the retweet button. It’s time to sit down with the Retro Network’s own Karen Flieger. Karen seemed to come out of nowhere and instantly became one of the greatest champions for this blogging/podcasting circle. She then switched hats and went from a fan to a creator as one of the most prolific writers on The Retro Network. On today’s episode of The Hot Tag, Kevin sits down for a one on one interview with Karen. How did she discover all of us? What are her origins? We discuss figures colliding, hometown childhoods, prom memories, and which one of us wanted which dolls.

03 Aug 2020 | 18.5 The Run In: Women Run The World | 00:19:45
The work week begins and we are all half way in between new episodes of The House Show. A perfect time for a quick Run In. All three hosts are in the studio this morning for some quick yet detailed talk about modern day wrestling. Kevin comes back from his surprising exit on Thursday's show. We catch each other up on our weekends and then get right into the main talk. Our first listener question comes in! "Is Alexa Bliss the greatest female wrestler of all time, or the greatest wrestler of all time?" This conversation becomes a debate on who are the top 4 women wrestlers currently active. We talk about many more women not on the list. One of us knows a wrestler's tattoo artist. A discussion on a rumored second AEW show. Plus, all of the WWE Superstars that were released are now able to show up at other companies. Which wrestler do we think will have the most impact in their new home? Plus some wrestling toy talk! And a reminder about our contest!

29 Oct 2020 | Halloween Havoc 1993 | 02:32:25
When an idea works, the best thing to do is use the idea again. That's right. It's time to Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal once more! Tonight's event aired October 24, 1993 from the Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana in front of 6000 fans. Confusion reigns in WCW. Big Van Vader is the champion, but WCW has another world title at this time. The Educator breaks down the behind the scenes history of the WCW International World title. Who is the franchise of WCW? Sting and Sid will battle it out for that honor. WCW's history of bad match endings is apparent and our anger grows over the course of this show. As always we break down the major events in our lives since last episode. Free computer equipment. Halloween costumes. Matty Treats begins his slow descent into madness with Christmas music. What did Kevin eat for dinner? Which match will be the Hot Tag of the week?

Happy Monday morning. Did any wrestling news happen since last week? Welcome to the first edition of Kevin's Soapbox. Kevin reminisces on previous house show memories and what he thinks WWE and fans could be losing if this turns out to be true. Stay tuned for an update on our merchandise. 27 Aug 2020 | Over The Edge | 02:29:03
The In Your House series may be nearing it's conclusion but your Trios Tag Team champions are not done with this trip down wrestling memory lane. The 1998 Over the Edge event is mostly forgotten and we are here to rectify that. Your hosts, along with just shy of 10,000 fans are watching the May 31, 1998 event live from the Wisconsin Center Arena in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Austin era is here. Mr McMahon is becoming the biggest heel in wrestling. The Attitude Era continues to rise in popularity and controversy. Those in charge want a champion to be proud of instead of the vulgar anti authority Stone Cold Steve Austin. The kind of champion worthy of a ten minute introduction. If you have not watched a single WWF pay per view alongside of us, we guarantee this will be the one to draw you in. Or your podcast money back.

18 Jun 2020 | In Your House: Buried Alive | 01:36:35
Buried Alive was held at the Market Square Arena in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 20th in front of nearly 10,000 fans. As the name implies the main event of this match will see either the Undertaker or Mankind buried alive inside of an open gravesite within the arena. A match which will see the debut of one of the "greatest" Superstars of all time. The show opens hot with the reason you're all here, headset issues! Heel Jim Ross has issues at the announce table and it affects the entire show. Which is a shame, because there's a lot of talented Superstars on this card who deserved more attention. Heels wrestle against heels! Dogs and cats, living together! We have many questions this episode. How awful do front row fans have to be before they're kicked out? Does Mr Perfect keep women in his garage? How did Sid get over? Who thought heel JR would get over? And what is the proper method to shovel dirt into a grave? Plus, Matty Treats and the Educator surprise Kevin with an intervention. His TikTok addiction is out of control. The co-hosts don't hold back and it gets savage. Classy, bougie, ratchet. Sassy, moody, nasty. Tonight's matches include:

21 Jan 2021 | SNME #3 - Halloween Episode | 01:17:32
Taped on Halloween night and airing two nights later, it's the Halloween episode! The heels and babyfaces have taken sides and will compete in challenges throughout the evening. But with a twist! This event takes place at the Hershey Park Arena in Hershey, Pennsylvania on October 31, 1985 (airing November 2) in front of 8,000 fans. Hershey Park means chocolate and there is an abundance of it throughout the show. Your favorite WWF Superstars are in full Halloween costumes for the backstage competitions. Captain Lou Albano takes on King Kong Bundy in a chocolate pie eating contest. Bobby Heenan takes on Cousin Junior in a pumpkin bobbing competition. Pumpkins inside a tub of chocolate syrup! Roddy Piper entertains some trick r' treaters. In the finale, the heels battle the faces in the traditional pumpkin pass. We discuss the charisma of the Junkyard Dog. Did anyone think wrestling was real at this time? How much money would it take for any of us to publicly embarrass ourselves? Who is the real Dream Team? Plus a debut of a brand new segment involving the main event of the show every week. Tonight's matches include:
Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant (with Captain Lou Albano) vs King Kong Bundy and Big John Studd (with Bobby the Brain Heenan). Macho Man Randy Savage (with Miss Elizabeth) vs Tito Santana (WWF Intercontinental champion). Ricky the Dragon Steamboat vs Mr Fuji (with The Magnificent Muraco) in a Kung Fu Challenge match. In the two months since the last In Your House PPV, Bret Hart has left the WWF, Shawn Michaels has officially formed DX, the New Age Outlaws are ruling the tag team division, and Steve Austin can wrestle again. There's so many changes in two months it feels like two years.

Butterbean vs Marc Mero (with Sable) in a Toughman match. The New Age Outlaws (Billy Gunn and Road Dogg) (WWF tag team champions) vs The Legion of Doom. Triple H (with Chyna) vs Sgt. 07 May 2020 | In Your House: Rage in the Cage | 01:34:00
Your Trios Tag Team champions continue ignoring the doorbell as we break down WWF In Your House. This sixth iteration comes from Louisville, Kentucky. Taking place on February 18, 1996 in front of 5,500 live fans and 150,000 pay per view buys. Remember: Viewer discretion is advised. We have many questions while watching this event. Does a Crybaby match do anything to help the loser's career? What is the featured item of the week? Who the hell put Shawn Michaels on top of a house? Shawn Michaels is still recovering from not only the attack in Syracuse, but also Owen Hart's boot. Can he make it to WrestleMania? A newly turned good guy Yokozuna returns and he has something to say. Kevin educates Matty Treats on Elizabeth Hilden's resume. We continue to be presently surprised by some great work, by both wrestlers and managers. Shawn Michaels acts inappropriately. The guys reminisce about the big blue steel cage. We disagree over the quality of the main event match. Then we're all on the same page to praise the most unexpected, original, shocking pay per view ending we had ever seen. Plus, the debut of The House Show Game Show! Tonight's matches include:

03 Dec 2020 | Halloween Havoc 1998 | 02:13:17
We’ve talked to the Retro Network and have been granted extra time. That’s right, we’re going to discuss the night WCW went off the air. Taking place on October 25, 1998 once again from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas in front of over 10,000 fans and millions more at home who wanted their money back. This tenth installment of Halloween Havoc is notorious for going off the air before the main event. The show ran nearly three and a half hours but the feed was cut at the three hour mark. Hollywood Hogan and the Warrior face off in a rematch from WrestleMania VI. Goldberg takes on Diamond Dallas Page for the WCW title, but the show goes to black as they lock up. WCW played the main event for free the next night on Nitro and it’s one of the best matches in Halloween Havoc history. Your trios tag team champions debate which matches could have been cut. How does a PPV get cut off before the main event? We play name the Nitro Girls and pick our favorites. Discussion on Kevin Nash’s new timely movie. In this week’s personal stories, hear about Kevin’s ridiculous dive into the $5 DVD bins at Walmart. We remember the greatest buffet restaurant of all time. Extra protein at no charge. Plus, we know you’ve all been waiting. Season 3 is announced! Tonight’s matches include: Chris Jericho (WCW TV champion) vs Raven. If you like the Hot Tag of the show, you can now read all of Kevin's show notes by becoming a Patron at the $5 level over at pateron.com/maskedlibrary. Stay tuned for an update on our merchandise. 13 Aug 2020 | No Way Out Of Texas: In Your House | 02:05:45
The House Show 20 - WWF No Way Out of Texas: In Your House The Mad Libs of pay per views! Throw people together. Throw matches together. Give me two nouns. This is an odd yet interesting show taking place right in between the Royal Rumble and next month's WrestleMania at which Stone Cold Steve Austin won his first WWF World title. This event took place February 15, 1998 at the Compaq Center in Houston, Texas in front of over 16,000 fans. Stone Cold is the biggest thing in wrestling, followed closely by D-Generation X, and you should hear the ovation for Sable. But one person is missing. Shawn Michaels was injured "training" (or during his Casket Match at the Royal Rumble) and won't be wrestling tonight. Who is a big enough star to take the place of the current WWF champion?

04 Jun 2020 | In Your House: Mind Games | 01:48:30
WCW Monday Nitro has taken the lead. The kids who worshiped Hulk Hogan are now teenagers and young adults wanting something more edgy. WWF isn't yet fully committed to taking the product in a new direction. An upstart more mature company is getting noticed and fans are treating them as an equal alternative to WWF. All of this comes to a head September 22, 1996 from the CoreStates Center in the home of Extreme - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania! 15,000 of the hardest to please wrestling fans on earth showed up for the tenth installment in the In Your House series. Kevin asks Matty Treats if he is one of those fans. As usual we comment on what the front row is doing and, wait a minute! They don't work here! Why are ECW wrestlers Tommy Dreamer and Sandman along with Paul Heyman sitting in the front row? We talk about wrestlers that appear but don't have matches, like the legendary Fake Diesel and Fake Razor. Discussion of Jim Cornette's wrestling talent. Rodeo Sunny appears. Jim Ross begins his heel turn. Mankind is in phenomenal shape. Kevin makes too many anime references. Then we talk about one of the most violent matches we've seen since this podcast began and how it matches up with our nostalgic memories. All of this plus our trademark match breakdowns, wrestling history, side stories, and bad jokes. Tonight's matches include:
