The Home For Anime (Cameron Langtree-Allison)

Well, we did it everyone. We made it to Volume 4 of The Home For Anime!! The only place to start this volume, the volume that celebrates Kyoto Animation in its (almost) entirety, is with their first main series, Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu! Though...this is also an introduction to what has been (and is currently) the biggest project I've ever worked on.

In case y'all have been wondering what I've been doing for the past two years in graduate school, here's the culmination of every bit of research I've done. I produced an entire podcast series about anime collecting and decided to upload it here. I hope you enjoy this work!

This week, I wanted to discuss something that's been on my mind for a while now and that's the fact that there stepparents have an extremely important job to do once they enter a family. The love and care that's involved in raising someone else's child and making them your own, in a sense, is an extremely impactful and meaningful choice that we may make light of today due to the memes we enjoy. Also, I want to address here that I didn't get to highlight the inspiration more in the episode. While my father was a great stepfather in his own right, my mother was a shining example of not just being a stepparent, but truly being the parent that stepped up. I love you all and hope you have a great day!

Our greatest bonding moment came from this film and that's the main reason I had to get Ryan back for this, because, as you'll hear, it depicts love, redemption, forgiveness, and emotional hardship (and crying).
