In addition to what fruits get sweeter and sweeter year after year, our consumption of fruits has increased drastically. 

Fruits are supposed to be seasonal as our ancestors had it. 

Our ancestors did not have easy access to fruits all year long, right? 

So, just imagine how much our consumption is bigger nowadays. 

And I don’t want to even talk about the juices, that’s just terrible. 

They get a fruit, then they kill almost all of the minerals and vitamins that It has by pasteurizing them. Heat also kills a lot of the enzymes By using high temperatures and eventually we left with a high Fructose drink with tons of carbs. 

That’s why most of the fruits are supposed to be avoided on a low carb diet completely especially if your goal is to lose weight. 

When it comes to fruits we have to look at a couple of things 

We have a GI 

We have a GL 

How many carbs in that fruit? 

How much sugar? 

How much fiber and how dense it is?  

So, here we go, here’s our list of fruits to avoid on a low carb diet.

Those are Healthy Shelf Stable, emergency foods to buy.  Now, in order to pick the right foods, we have to look at 3 main things: 

  - FOOD suppose to be Obviously Shelf Stable, 

We have to look for  

 - high-calorie dense food and we are looking for   

- high-nutrient dense foods that have vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients.

Today we will discuss is olive oil really good for weight loss and how can we use it the right way so you can burn fat with fat. 

Olive oil contains monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFAs) and in particular Oleic Acid found in Olive oil and this Oleic Acid is converted to oleoylethanolamide also known as OEA and this is exactly how I will call it from now on and this is the most important component in the Olive oil for weight loss so let’s explain how it works a bit more. 

Research has connected OEA with weight loss in a couple of different ways. 

For instance, according to a 2017 study published in the journal Physiology & Behavior, OEA helps reduce food intake by the way it interacts with dopamine, a neurotransmitter that is responsible for carrying signals from one brain cell to another.  

But how does it work? 

OEA binds to a very well-known nuclear receptor called PPAR-Alpha in various cell types in the body, and increases the metabolism of fat in those cells, hence reducing the fat content in the body, thus resulting in weight loss. 

Ok, so OEA binds to the PPAR-Alpha receptor in cells in the body and this binding increases the metabolism of fat in those cells so you lose weight.   OEA also binds to the same PPAR-Alpha receptor in nerve cells or neurons, specifically, the vagus nerve.

I am so excited to introduce Our Today’s guest, Dave Sherwin. Dave is a certified fitness nutrition coach, entrepreneur, and practitioner of mindfulness and meditation. His passion is helping grown-ups navigate real-world business and life challenge to achieve their best health and wellness at any age. He is also the creator and host of The Dirobi Health Show which covers everything to do with health and wellness, including the latest in nutrition, exercise, supplements, and clinical studies.

Today, we are gonna be talking about His 7 Simple Health Habits for Losing Weight, Keeping it OFF, and feeling Awesome

1. Do not drink calories.

2. Eat ALL food slowly and mindfully. Even “cheat” foods.

3. Smart fasting. Try to eat all food within an 8-hour window (men) 10 hours (women). Try to not eat anything after 7 PM.

4. Eat according to the "hand rules" for every meal. Protein the size of your palm, carbs the size of your closed fist, fat the size of your thumb, and an open handful of veggies.

5. Observe a simple supplement Strategy. Take Pounds and Inches Drops twice a day for weight loss, a good quality multivitamin, trace minerals, and other supplements depending on your age, gender, and activity level.

6. Move your body every day. Continue doing whatever exercise you already do, but make sure even your rest days involve light activity.

7. Sleep. Get 7-9 hours of sleep every night.
