30 Mar 2021 | #20 Normalising lockdown weight gain | 00:46:31 | |
In this episode I talk about the struggle I see many of my clients going through right now and this is both lockdown and diet fatigue. At the moment we have no stimulation outside of our work and home lives which is having a massive impact on our mood and energy levels which subsequently effects our motivation and drive to make behaviour changes and keep them. I talk in this episode about having some self compassion, reflecting on triggers and whether it is hunger or emotional eating that drives overeating, how having self respect for yourself is a better way of making behaviour changes rather than focusing solely on weight loss and that ditching the scales might be the best thing for you right now.
