Today we are revisiting one of Rachel's Top Episodes and talking about what’s holding you back in your business. These 3 fears are what every single person faces when they are beginning something new and we’re going to dive into what they are, and how to get over them so you can be successful!
In this episode we talk about:
Fear of judgment,
Fear of rejection
Fear of not being ________ enough (you fill in the blank)
These 3 fears get in the way of your business. We tend to fall back into old ways and have these fears creep in. These fears need to be squashed and we won’t move forward if these fears get in our way.
Fear of judgment. The fear of judgment is being afraid of what people think of you. We have all been judgmental. But when people are judgemental, it is their own stuff. These fears show up in different ways. It might look like we’re not showing up 100% or censoring ourselves. We don’t live life to the fullest because we are afraid.
Fear of rejection. The word “no” doesn’t mean you suck, and it doesn’t mean you shouldn't be doing this. It only means “no”. This fear shows up in your business when you are afraid to share the offering, when you don’t go live, when you don’t host parties, when you don’t even create the offer. If you are afraid of someone saying ‘no’, you are creating so much meaning around that word and you shouldn’t.
Fear that you’re not _____ enough (good, smart, charismatic, etc). This always starts when we start comparing ourselves with others. If you fall into this comparison trap, you’re not going to try new things, you feel defeated all the time, you are bringing negative energy into your business, and then you tend to look to other people to fill us up, and it always leads us into a crazy cycle.
How do you stop the fears from getting in the way? Give yourselves a bucket full of grace and love. Remind yourselves of your worth. You are worthy regardless of how successful your business is. Then try to get to the root of the fear. Start tackling these fears and understand when and why they are happening.

People are spending money, and in this time of recession, people are also looking for additional money.

Help your customer in their life then connect your product to their life. Connection is so important!
Don’t just sell your product - solve a problem for your customer.
Don’t be shady, be authentic. Show her through your messaging that she can’t live without your product.

In this episode, we are talking about your messaging and why it's so important. You are more than your product and you have so much to offer. Rachel is going to teach you a strategy that will change the way you look and show up for your business. Let’s dive in!
In today’s episode, we talk about:
Thinking about your business as more than just a product.
Thinking about the transformation. What can your product do for your customer?
You aren’t just selling an organizational product, you are selling a happier home, a transformation. You are helping them get peace, calm, and happiness back in their home. This is the reality when you are selling more than your product.
Instead of selling your product, think of it as a transformation, you are selling a new environment, a new look, a new life.
What does your customer get? They become a better version of themselves and they show up differently. You aren’t just selling the product you are selling confidence. You are selling success!
Think and dig deep with this transformation to get to the emotional piece of it. This helps your customers connect and this connection is a key to building a successful business.

Ever Feel Like a Fraud? Dealing with Imposter Syndrome
Do you ever doubt your accomplishments? Or are you afraid of being exposed as a fraud, even though you know what you're doing? This week we're talking about impostor syndrome, which is something that is common with high achievers. It's the feeling that you are a fraud, it's all just an accident or a fluke that you ended up where you are, and people are going to find out. Or perhaps you feel like you just don't deserve the success that you've earned. Listen in today, to find out what to do when impostor syndrome strikes.
Impostor syndrome is really dismissing your success as good timing or good luck. In today's episode, we're talking about how to identify it and how to get beyond it. Please be aware, however, that the solutions that Rachel offers you today will be helpful at the time, but as you grow in your business and as you become more successful, impostor syndrome will rear its ugly head again. Tune in now to get Rachel's powerful solutions for combating impostor syndrome.
Show Highlights:
Knowing what impostor syndrome is, and being able to identify it, is half the battle.
Impostor syndrome often strikes when we're taking a leap of faith and getting ready to do something new.
It seems to strike because we want to protect ourselves.
Rachel gives some examples of when impostor syndrome is likely to set in.
Impostor syndrome strikes when we're focused on ourselves instead of on others.
When we start focusing on how we can help others, it takes away the power that the impostor thoughts have over us.
The mean girl inside our heads goes hand-in-hand with impostor syndrome.
Rather than focusing on the impostor thoughts and feelings, focus on helping your audience.
When impostor thoughts come up, allow yourself to be a little vulnerable, and focus on the good things that you've done.
Being open about your fears can take their power away, so it might help to share your feelings with someone who understands.
In our minds, everything seems much bigger and much worse.
Get really honest with yourself, and get to the bottom of why you think you're a fraud or why you don't think you deserve success.
Rachel usually comes alive when she has a mic in her hands, but recently she's been getting a little anxious about it. This means that impostor syndrome is coming in.
Rachel shares some of her fears and she explains how she overcomes them.
Thinking that you're a fraud is really just a lie that you're telling yourself.
Writing out the truth next to your lies is really powerful.
Keep a running list of all your successes and all your accomplishments.
Keep a file for all the positive feedback and affirmations you get from your clients or customers. This will show you that you really are touching people's lives and helping them.
Rachel shares some positive affirmations to help you overcome impostor syndrome.

Today we are talking about ten things your upline tells you that are wrong! Please for the love of God - that is our theme of the day, don’t do these ten things. What is the craziest advice you’ve been given? I want to hear yours, message me, and let's get in touch!
In today’s episode, we talk about:
The ten things your upline tells you, that are just WRONG
Your CTA should NOT be business related. It's so important to make sure your CTA isn’t business related. This helps create engagement.
If your upline is asking you to do spammy things - No, red flag! This is not how you grow a sustainable business - this is not how we change the network marketing business.
Listen to your gut - there is a difference between being uncomfortable when listening to your gut and being uncomfortable because it's spammy. Do what feels right.
It's not true that you have to beat the algorithms to grow your business - there are so many other ways.
This is a relationship industry we are in. It's about relationships and serving. It's about helping people who need help, not the ones not interested and that don’t need your help. Focus on serving those who want your help.
The more bad strategies we allow to continue the harder it will be to grow your team because it magnifies the negativity in this industry.

In this episode, we are talking all about branding, and branding yourself! Creating your brand outside of your company is important. You are more than colors and fonts, you are you! Let’s create something that is uniquely yours. Today we will talk about three specific ways that you can dig deep into your brand.
In today’s episode, we talk about:
Creating your brand and branding you and your company.
Creating something that will help you make more money.
Branding is more than social media, more than the fonts and colors.
What makes you special? What are you saying to your audience?
When people are first introduced to you, do they see you or your company? It's all about who you are!
One of the biggest mistakes I see is branding yourself as your company and not yourself.
Go deeper. Be a part of this Bootcamp. Love yourself. The truth is there is more than one thing that makes you special. Tap into that! Find what gives you life!
What makes you different? What is your superpower? What is your zone of genius?
The first way you can dig deeper into your brand is by knowing who your ideal customer is and how to only speak to them. What does she love, and what does she need? Know her inside and out and speak to her!
The second way to dig deeper is to stop copying other network marketers!! You are you. You are not your upline. You are not your company. You are you! It's ok to be inspired, don't copy. Don’t be afraid. Start stepping out as you.
The third way to dig deep is to become more than your product. You ARE more than your product. People want to know you. You are amazing!
Lean into who you are and start that discovery process. Don't listen to the lies, “I’m not good enough, no one likes me, I have nothing to offer.” That's just not true. There is a massive plan for you. You can stand out!

How to stay aware of the trends and pay attention to what’s changing.
What worked 5-10 years ago may not work today and that’s ok.
Surround yourself with people who teach you strategies that are current!
People change, life changes, the world changes - The online business has changed.
Ask yourself - what strategies do work?
It's not 2016 anymore - why are you treating your business as if it is?
Parties are not the only way to build a business anymore.
Think about your business and rate it (1 - it sucks to 10 - I’m rocking it). If you are below a 10 - listen up. Where are your weak spots and what can you do to improve them? Evaluate your business. Are you using outdated strategies? Audit your business and look at it as objectively as you can.

Are you an entrepreneur? And are you constantly hustling to make enough money? In today's episode, we're talking about working smarter because, as entrepreneurs, it's easy to believe that we have to hustle and work crazy hours to make awesome money. But that's not really how it is. The truth of it is that you can work smarter and still make more money. Listen in to find out how.
After Rachel's son was born, she stopped teaching because she thought she wanted to be a stay-at-home mom. But then she discovered that she needed something more. After looking around for a while, she found a direct sales business, selling jewelry and accessories. It ticked all the boxes- she could stay at home and be with her son and she could also make some money. But she soon became frustrated and resented having to work every weekend. Then it occurred to her that she was actually in control and she could decide when it was convenient for her to work. This really opened her eyes and she began to enjoy her sales business a whole lot more! Rachel and her partner managed to build a multiple-figure business while working less than three hours per day, three days per week. Tune in today, to find out what they did, so that you can do it too.
Show Highlights:
A few years later, when Rachel and her business partner started a tag team, they worked only when their kids were in school and they offered training in the evenings.
It was fine in the beginning, but it soon became exhausting for them.
They realized that the pattern they were in was not ideal for their happiness or for their families and it started creating stress in their lives.
The program showed them that working smart was actually something they could do.
Every other business decision was then held up against their priority, and as a result, their work schedule changed.
Rachel and her partner created a really amazing work schedule, working only two-and-a-half to three hours per day, three days per week.
Rachel explains how they worked smarter and built a multiple-figure business.
Rachel explains how to outsource.
Hiring people really freed them up and they made more money every time they hired someone.
Their schedule had to change, however, when they launched new products.

Today we are going to talk about what’s holding you back in your business. These 3 fears are what every single person faces when they are beginning something new and we’re going to dive into what they are, and how to get over them so you can be successful!
In this episode we talk about:
The 3 fears that get in the way of your business. We tend to fall back into old ways and have these fears creep in. These fears need to be squashed and we won’t move forward if these fears get in our way.

Letting Go of Your Limiting Beliefs with Mindi Huebner
Today we are talking with Mindi Huebner about letting go of your limiting beliefs and getting around those beliefs in your business. Mindi is an Intuitive Mindset Mastery Coach, an IBCP-certified NLP practitioner, Health, Life, and Success Coach, and Clinical Hypnotherapist. Mindi knows rewiring your brain is the key to unlocking your magic so you can create a soul-aligned business and extraordinary life. Her number one mission is helping women to reveal and release their limiting beliefs and embrace the confidence, wildly successful humans they already are on the inside. Today we will focus on sponsoring and then dive into those limiting beliefs that direct sellers have on becoming a leader and the struggles you may have when those close to you don’t support you in your business. Let’s get started.
In today’s episode, we talk about:
Limiting beliefs and all things mindset
Your brain deletes, destroys and generalizes based on your beliefs
RAS (Reticular Activating System) - filters out what you don’t know
If you believe you’re not a good recruiter, you’re showing up in a way that is proving your belief. Once you decide to believe in something more empowering you will also create habits for this!
How do you rewire your brain?
What limiting belief are you having that is masquerading as protection, that is protecting you from failure, but it's actually protecting you from your success?
When we think a thought habitually, it becomes a belief and an emotion. It becomes an “I am” statement The words following these I am statements are some of the most powerful words in the universe.
Understanding the importance of surrounding yourself with people who want you to succeed. Do yourself a favor and find a mentor.
The brain is always thinking about gains and losses.
Quit trying to convenience people that you are making a good choice for you. Set a boundary.
The more that you focus on what you don’t want and don’t like, the more you will be focused on that.

It is so hard to believe that I have been in Direct Sales since 2006. That is 15 years in, and I have been doing some deep reflection on the changing and evolving direct sales industry. I wanted to take this opportunity to somewhat “rock the boat” with a two-part series of the outdated direct sales strategies that companies are still training on. I will be sharing my perspective on the importance of adapting to changes to maximize growth potential.
In this episode we discuss:
Throwback DS (Door to Door, Home Parties, Facebook Parties)
DS Now (Social Selling, connecting, creating opportunities, “solving the problem”)

In this episode, we are going to talk about if you’re playing to win or playing not to lose. What does that mean and which one are you?
In today’s episode, we talk about:
If you’re playing to win, it means you are investing in the things that bring you further, faster. You are on the path to becoming someone who has the capacity for success.
Playing not to lose means you come up with excuses not to play hard. You don’t like to get uncomfortable. You aren’t relentless in your mission. You come up with excuses.
So I ask you: Are you playing to win or playing not to lose? be REALLY honest with yourself.
What do you want? Are you coming up with excuses as to why you can’t make this happen?
We are so afraid of failure. And yes failure SUCKS, but I am where I am today because of those failures and I don’t regret any of them. Yes, it was hard, but it was worth it.
We need to lean into the fact that failures are going to happen. And also acknowledge you will get through it.
Don’t let excuses rule you. “ I don’t have time, money, my kids need me, etc.”
If you change nothing, nothing changes. You will stay where you are.
IF you take action and invest in yourself and your business, that is playing to win!

It’s all about the relationship, sister! And in this episode, we dive into how to start relationships, how to nurture them, and how these relationships help you build your team (in a non-sales way)!
In other news, there is something very exciting coming up -- I’m hosting a Bootcamp and it’s all about BUILDING YOUR TEAM! Be sure to subscribe to my email to be the FIRST to know when doors are opening.
In this episode we talk about:
How building your team comes down to relationships.
That relationship marketing is the case in all sales, and why it’s important.
How the reality is, it takes time. Relationships take time, and that is OK. Be patient in the process.
It’s not a blame game. Your job is to help others, don't blame others if they don’t want to do XYZ. Nobody owes you anything. But you can serve others at a deeper level.
Who is your ideal customer? What is it that they need and want? It’s important for you to know how to help them!
When you show up to serve things happen organically!
If you remember anything, remember this. Even if you don’t see results immediately, don’t give up. You don’t know what’s happening behind the scenes.
Take the time to be present and genuinely get to know people.
You got to show your face on social media! Get uncomfortable and do it and see your face and hear your voice! Because when they see your face they feel connected to you!
If you’re not having conversations, you won’t be building the relationship.
My challenge this week for you is to be intentional and authentic with the conversations you are already having.
Let me know how it goes and DM me what you got on stories or what action you took!

Today we are talking about something that is really important… the concept of rest. The network marketing industry is full of hustle culture, but ladies, you need to learn the work of REST.
In today’s episode, we talk about:
The reality is there is a lot of push to get a team, sales, etc. It is so important to recognize the signs of burnout.
Burnout could be you feeling run-down, losing your passion for what you usually love to do, or the thought of having to do anything around your business is full of dread.
I want to get you to the point where you don’t get to the burnout, you are able to recognize it before you even get close to burnout.
Today we are talking about how the REST is the work, and the hustle is not. It's a hard concept because we live in a society where our value comes from how much we produce, how hard we work, and our results. So we want those results.
Take a minute to think back to when you first signed up and joined your company. Most people sign up for freedom-- financial freedom, calendar freedom, and schedule freedom.
Hustling is NOT getting that freedom!
What if you built a business that was reliant on the REST?
Envision this: what does your ideal business look like? What does your schedule look like? How do you see your business? What do you want out of your business? How do your family life, and personal life play a part? What would feel good to you? Start setting those boundaries.
It's time for you to take control of your calendar and your business!
I just went on vacation and was tempted to work. Why did I think I needed to continue working on vacation? Vacation is important. Rest is important. Rest is part of the work.
You need to make sure you are taking some time and release that pressure about being productive.
The REST is powerful and necessary in order for you to be productive.
What is your creative space? Reflect on that and what you need.
The hustle hurts. If you hustle, hustle, hustle, then you will be forced to break and stop and not on your own terms.
Put aside some rest. Schedule it in. Do what YOU need.

What is your ‘why’? I find that we forget about our ‘‘why’ and we forget about the importance of it.
Why are you doing this business? We all have highs and lows in business. What will separate you from other direct sellers will be what you do during those low lows. Do you keep going or do you give up?
There are two ways to earn money in Direct Selling: Selling your product and growing your team. The most sustainable way is having both.
Take a moment to DREAM! What would your life look like?
In your DREAM ---How do you want to serve others? How do you want to impact others? When you lead with serving--- that is where the magic happens!
When you do this exercise, BEWARE of the inner mean girl!!
Don’t fall prey to the fear of dreaming. Shut down those negative thoughts and get going!
It's so important for you to have this dream/vision because this is what causes you to put one foot in front of the other!

In this episode, we are talking about planning. Rachel is not a planner and thinking ahead doesn’t come naturally. She’s come up with a way that works for herself and many of you. Join her for a live 3-hour workshop this week to dig in deep. Today, let’s chat briefly about why planning is so essential and hear the 4 steps Rachel has to make planning your year a success!
In today’s episode, we talk about:
A 4-step strategy to help you plan for your year
One of the most important steps is reflecting. This is such a massive piece of your annual planning. There are things you don't even realize you’ve done that you should do again.
Sometimes we forget to look at what did work
It’s easy to look at the negatives and the things we didn’t do and we forget to look at the things we did do, which were great!
Step two is to Dream - Do you take the time to dream?
Dreaming is the fun part of the process
The third step is strategizing
Step 4 is to take action. Not planning can cause big mistakes in your business - Rachel learned this lesson the hard way.
Don’t lose out on money because you didn’t take the time to plan out your year

In this episode, we are talking about the difference between running your business as a hobby versus running it as a business. What is the difference? So many people start their business as a hobby and to have something fun to do. But how do you know if you want this as a hobby or business, I’ve got a few questions to ask yourself.
In today’s episode, we talk about:
The problem that arises when we treat our business like a hobby but want the results to be like a business.
Ask yourself - Did I start this business because I want to build this into a 5 or 6-figure business or is this for fun something that helps me relax?
If you don’t have focused work time, you don’t focus on growth.
Hobby - Something that is done in your leisure time, when you have time, with no expectations. It just makes you happy. It helps you relax.
Business - it's a primary way to get income or a side hustle.
More questions to ask yourself - What do you want out of this business? Do you want to grow a team? Do you have big dreams? Do you imagine walking across the stage? Do you have the desire to be in leadership? If you answered yes, you need to start treating this business as a business if you want those outcomes.
The 4 steps you need to take to treat your business as a business

In this episode, we are talking about You being the Secret Sauce. We often think, what is going to make me more money? What is going to make me grow my team? Stay tuned if you want to know what will turn your overwhelmed and overworked hustle into a lean dream selling and recruiting machine! Hint… it's YOU! Let’s get started!
In today’s episode, we talk about:
How people will buy into you before they ever buy your product.
How people want to be seen and want you to resonate with them.
Your customers want to see you when you are at your best, but also when things get messy.
Your ideal customer wants to see themselves in you, not as a potential seller, but as a human who is doing the best they can! They want to be seen as a person, not just a prospect.
They want to resonate with your beliefs, values, style, sense of humor, and dreams.
The only way to connect with your Ideal customer is to be willing to step out from behind your product and be all of you.
You are the Secret Sauce - not your company, not your product, not your hostess rewards, or your annual sales. It's YOU!
But Rachel, what do I have to give? You have so much to give!
We limit ourselves by buying into the limiting belief of others that we at some point decide are our own.
Start here - Your business is a real business. You are a business owner. Start believing this!
Learn the skills you need, and start believing that what you want is possible for you.
If you don’t have self-worth it will be hard to become wealthy. Self-worth is something we talk about in Wealth and Worth Legacy builders and I am opening the doors tomorrow. This is only open to my podcast listeners! Join us here -→ rachelaperry.com/wealthandworth
This world needs more of YOU. You are worth so much. You are important. You are the secret sauce in your business, it's time to embrace that.

Today we are talking about the Recession. Is it hurting us or benefiting us? If we change our mindset, flip the switch and start viewing the Recession as a positive thing - it changes everything! This recession doesn’t need to hurt you - it can impact you positively. You have the power to make this a positive experience, it starts with your mind!
In today’s episode, we talk about:
How this is affecting our lives whether we know it or not.
If you decide right now - this sucks, we have lost so much money - this will cause a negative reaction on your business.
Negative thoughts will bring negative results to your business.
Our thoughts have an impact on our results because our thoughts impact our actions
Flip the switch and start viewing this as a positive thing.
When there is a shortage and people are feeling the pressure on their wallets - they often look for a second stream of income.
This is a great time for people to start their own companies and build flexibility and build an extra stream of income.
The business model of network marketing is incredible - it gives people potential
Change your mindset
Scarcity mindset will find its way in - don’t let it.
Switch to an abundant mindset - This is a great opportunity for me to grow and share it with people who need it.
Stop showing up to your life, your every day, with that scarcity mindset.
What actions are your thoughts creating?
Change your mindset and show up!
Write your wanted result as if it’s already happened. Think about it every single day. Sister pull yourself up!
Stop the negative thought - instead choose and think of a different thought. That is how the recession is going to change your business.
The economy isn't great but what an incredible opportunity I have!
This recession doesn’t need to hurt you - it can impact you positively.
You have the power to make this a positive experience, it starts with your mind!

Do you find that you fall into the trap of comparing yourself to others? Today we're talking about the comparison trap, the trouble it brings, and how to overcome it. In the last episode, we spoke about the mean girl that lives inside your head, and why you really need to shut her down. It's important to realize that it becomes very easy to fall right back into her trap when we start to compare ourselves to others. This doesn't have to happen to you, though, if you've been doing the work that's necessary to quiet that mean girl down. Tune in now to find out more.
At times, things just don't work out in the way we had hoped they would. When this happens we sometimes compare ourselves to others and we may even find that the thing we're comparing ourselves to in them isn't real at all. That will not help our state of mind in any way! Remember that you are just who you're supposed to be and there are great things for you! Listen in today, to find out what really happens when we compare ourselves to other people and why this comparison is really detrimental to your journey.
Show Highlights:
Rachel really wanted to have kids soon after she got married, but things just didn't work out that way for her.
Rachel found that she was comparing herself to something that wasn't even real.
What really happens when we compare ourselves to other people.
The first thing that happens is that we begin to feel inferior.
We become jealous when we compare ourselves to others.
Nothing good comes from jealousy and it just grows and grows.
Jealousy puts you in a place of negativity.
We get stuck when we compare ourselves to others.
Negative energy is like a roadblock in our lives.
Comparison prevents you from moving forward.
We all have a different calling on our lives.
You aren't focusing on your truth when you make comparisons.
You need to be focusing on your own growth.
Nobody's life is as perfect as we think it is.
Rachel challenges you to stop and turn around when you find yourself comparing yourself to others because you need to be focusing on your own story, not theirs.

Today we are talking all about taking action! Did you know there are both good and bad types of actions you can take in life? Let’s dive into this topic together to understand what I mean and make sure you are on the right track to success!
In today’s episode, we talk about:
Messy action means just doing it. Even if it’s not perfect, even if it's not where you want it to be, just do it.
Your messy action doesn’t mean it’s a messy product, it just means it isn’t the final product.
Have you asked yourself: “Is the type of action that you are taking the right action?”
Messy action is always good because it means you are willing to move forward and not be stuck.
But are you possibly taking the wrong action? You can sometimes trick yourself that you are on the right path when the reality is that your actions are not moving the needle forward. It's like you’re doing busy work and stuck on a hamster wheel.
Think about what you are doing right now… is it moving the needle?
If it’s not, are you maybe spending time on a whole bunch of tasks that are a waste of time?
The first step is to evaluate if it is the RIGHT action.
If you decide that your current action step does not move the needle, then choose what WILL and do it. Don’t run from it.
Don’t hide behind fear, don’t be scared. Fear will come up, but you can’t run or quit, because then that needle stops moving.
Sometimes it takes time for the needle to move, but if you are consistent and know the actions you are taking are the right ones, it will pay off.
Are the actions you are taking really getting you closer to your goal, or is it helping you avoid the action you SHOULD be taking?
The only way you can move forward is by taking that right, messy action. So let’s do it together, sister. I’m here for you!

Today we are talking about what to do when you see people leaving your social communities or even your email list.
In this episode we talk about:
A short Perry family update :)
What do you do when someone unsubscribes or unfollows your social media account?
When people leave or unsubscribe it has NOTHING to do with you!
I’m challenging you this week to let go of the attachment to numbers, to people who follow you.
Sometimes it hurts when someone doesn’t like our product or says ‘no’.
We make it mean so much when someone says no. But it truly means nothing.
Here’s what I really want you to take away from this: You are a gift. You have a purpose. You have so much worth. But everybody is not your people. Not everyone in your group or email list is your people. It has nothing to do with you or who you are.
Your business ebbs and flows. So does your social media following and VIP groups, and email list.
In order to build wealth, you must know your self-worth!
You have purpose and you are a gift to this world!

In today’s episode, we talk about:
The 5 steps you can take to make sure your business is making you money.
Who is your ideal customer? Your product will not benefit everyone from ages 19-92. Narrow this down and figure out who you can help.
Go beyond your product, create and teach your ideal customers.
Showing up. When you show up every day you can be profitable.
Do the work that matters, that gives you the biggest ROI (Return on Investment)
Be consistent - start with one small habit at a time and build on that.
