Amazon Eve talked about how she was called back to perform the role of "The Fist" on AHS Apocalypse, being star struck meeting Joan Collins and reconnecting with Kathy Bates, overcoming her fears of zombies in her new movie Dead Squad and how awful transsexuals were treated in the 1980s...how far we've come...and how much farther we need to be...

Joy talked about her various Grammy dresses which have propelled her to fame including a dress made out of snow fence, an HR Giger inspired dress, and the MAGA Trump dress which propelled her to the top of the charts and made her a darling of conservatives. She talked about designing her latest Grammy dress and the true story which inspired the pro-life theme and her new upcoming talk show.

Blogger and model The Strange Goth and comedian Dave Carter joined Hannah and Mark for a fun show and found that they had a lot in common.   The Strange Goth talked about her parents recognizing the darkness within her at an early age. How she initially found he goth scene in the Bay Area but has now found a home in the Los Angeles scene. She talks about what it was like to be on the cover of LA Weekly’s goth issue, why she doesn’t wear black all the time, what it is like being a woman of color in the goth scene and set the scene for her future wedding where she will walk down the aisle on fire.   Dave talked about how he discovered death rock and darker music while serving in the Air Force (where he was assigned to play volleyball), his beginnings doing improv in the hallowed halls of Second City in Chicago, his work as a voice over actor as the voice of dramas on FreeForm among others, how his wife reacts to him making jokes about her in his stand up act and how he is at a point now where his 5 year old daughter gives him advice on how to audition and survive in show business.   And we discussed the eternal arguments…are The Smiths, Marilyn Manson and Depeche Mode goth?

It was quite a party as topics discussed were the Halloween movies new and old, record stores, Vanilla Ice's underrated 2nd album, Danzig's height, getting injured in a Venom mosh pit, a Tim Burton themed restaurant, Venice Beach, the sideshow N-word, mentalism, balloons, card tricks, the dangers of drinking Absinthe and so much more!

This week guest co-host Nicole Sixx and Mark welcomed dating coach Marni the Wing Girl and the most interesting person in the world Sin Twisted to the lighter side of the dark side.

Marni's journey to being a dating coach started at a singles mixer where she helped men approach women, which led to her being approached by pickup artist Ross Jeffries, which has led to her making appearances on shows as varied as Fox and Friends, Dr. Drew and Sway in the morning as well as her own show Ask Women Podcast. She talks about her experiences in the pickup community, why the old school pickup methods won't work anymore, how energy is more important than looks and gives Mark advice on his dating life after hearing the horror stories he has to tell.

Sin recently travelled to Mexico City where she performed contortions, grind core and blood spitting (!), the different restrictions on performing in Mexico as opposed to Dubai, the ups and downs of her newly split tongue, how judgmental and cruel men and women can be, and how happy she was that she can still contort her body to fit in a tiny suitcase even after she got breast implants.

ARTivist Jil Love and witchy comedian Renee Watt joined Mark for quite a metaphysical show

Jil talked about the epiphany she had in 2012 which led her to combine her art with activism which has let her to cover herself in blood, oil and recently sitting on a golden toilet on Donald Trump's star on the walk of fame and bloodletting for the children of Yemen. She travelled from her native Spain to Hollywood where she got into a fight with a Transformer in order to promote peace.

Renee talked about her own epiphany 2 years ago which led her to explore her psychic abilities, get into her own spirituality and embrace being a witch and start performing stand up comedy. She talks about starting a coven as a teen and how she took a detour in the punk rock scene in Phoenix.

Oh and Jil and Renee started communicating telepathically during the show, which didn't slow down the terrific stories about their lives

Actress/Host Vida Ghaffari and singer/fashion designer Jacqueline Van Bierk joined Mark on The Lighter Side of The Dark Side

Vida is the daughter of a scientist so famous in Iran that he is known as the "Persian Michael Jordan", she details how she started out wearing a hijab on Mind of Mencia and on the Universal lot while filming The Mindy Project, how she has transitioned into horror movies and is now known as "The Persian Linda Blair", what it is like to interview celebrities on the red carpet like Martin Short and the Iron Sheik (in Farsi no less) and her upcoming movie Robowoman

Jacqueline grew up in a small town in Germany (with umlauts in the name) but couldn't wait to move to New York where she formed the industrial band Otto's Daughter whose music was featured in several TV shows including The Vampire Diaries. She reminisced about the fetish club scene where she initially met Mark and talked about her solo music which is more EDM than her band and being selected the 2nd worst dressed at The Grammys in 2017 by USA Today (Cee Lo was #1)

Sergio Varela of the band Thorns of Sin and makeup artist X joined Mark and Hannah for a very metal show.

Sergio grew up in Colombia, where he got a taste of hot chocolate with cheese and Metallica, and got in trouble in catholic school for having his hair long. Inspired by classic metal, black metal and death metal he recorded the 2015 album Destroy The Light by playing all the instruments himself and inspired by classic shredders he is gearing up to tour and record another album in 2019.

X (not X the punk band or X Japan) talked about meeting Hannah for the first time and bonding over classic rock, her passion for makeup, which led through some wild digressions including Mark’s experiments with Rasberry Splat, how all eyebrows can be improved (except Hannah’s) and how her customers see her concentration and commitment to excellence as off-putting, as she’s too cool to fake a smile….

There was some talk about guilty pleasures too and who everyone’s favorite Spice Girl is…

Amazon Eve, Dakota The Bearded Lady and Vida Ghaffari joined Mark for a surprisingly deep hour of conversation Eve wanted to meet Vida because of their mutual martial arts backgrounds, she talked about self-defense being a necessity after she transitioned even though she is 6'8'.It also came in handy financially as men would pay her for the privilege of getting beat up. She talked about the struggles she has had pre and post transition and how she has triumphed and become an inspiration to all genders and even fought the devil on American Horror Story Apocalypse. Dakota talked about prejudices she has seen as a bearded lady, how she had to shave in the middle of the day working the makeup counter at a department store, her pansexuality and what it is like working with Patrick Stewart and women with fake beards. Vida talked about bullying she received as a Persian woman in America, how red carpet interviewers have been unkind to her due to body hair, doing a weekly show on XM radio and compared fight scenes with Eve.

It's the Holiday Season and Dark Mark wanted to celebrate them in the weirdest way possible; by having the notorious Stanton LaVey and witch comedian Renee Watt join him on The Dark Mark Show There was good cheer all around as Stanton Renee and Mark talked about Stanton's grandfather Anton LaVey who founded the Church of Satan, how to celebrate winter solstice as a witch visiting a Christian household, Father Frost, Kate Bush, Dolemite, the blasphemy of Christianity, turning comedians goth, who really wrote The Satanic Bible, Alistair Crowley, Barbara Bush, Hillary Clinton, spirit cooking, Sammy Davis Jr, and so much more…

It’s the first Dark Mark Show of 2019 and Mark and Hannah are talking sex all night long with adult film star Ophelia Rain, sex educator Anne Hooder-Shipp and very special guest the legendary Ron Jeremy!   Ophelia talks about how she wants to get butt implants to match the breast implants which took her from an A Cup to D Cups, talked about how Troma films got her kicked out of school, only for her to get her revenge when she starred in one, how her new scene with Brazzers has the most ad revenue on PornHub of any scene, the bias in the industry against heavily tattooed women and her “arty” erotic and surreal new scene the “black shower”.   Anne talks about how she was became known as the “sex toy queen” and what is not quite right with most sex toys, how she overcame a debilitating medical condition which caused her to faint and curl up in a fetal position at a Pleasure Chest party, what it is like working with sex for her entire adult life and her new accreditation program EDSE which stands for Everyone Deserves Sex Education and their Sex Education Certification Class   Ron came in about 40 minutes in and kicked the show into overdrive with his wit and undeniable energy. It is the one year Anniversary of the reboot of the Dark Mark Show and Mark and Hannah celebrated with quite a wild show featuring legendary scream queen Deborah Dutch, sideshow madman Dangerous D. and sword swallower Cyrus Pynn

Deborah talked about how a cheerleading accident led to her not pursuing a life as a ballerina (though she still can do the splits as she demonstrated), having her grandmother’s friend Agnes Moorhead of Bewitched fame see her in a high school play, how dating a soft rock star (and smoking weed with a Beatle) led to her relocating to LA, where she got the lead in Bruce Lee Fights Back from the Grave. She did her own stunts and was dubbed badly in that movie and moved on from there to share the screen with Goldie Hawn, be in Miami Vice, and work with Roger Corman and get dubbed an official “Scream Queen” in the 90s. She is now working on her own sword wielding series of films “Hollywood Warrioress”

Dangerous D may be married and has a newborn son, but he is by no means any less outrageous. He claims to swing his son from his ears, offered to give Mark a tattoo on the air. He also talked about his journey from Baltimore where he hit LA with $100 to his name, how he got on Ozzfest, what it takes to impress him and land a spot on his “Shock Show” troupe of performers and why he is producing Cyrus’ one man show as a one-time only performance.

Cyrus is also known as Cydeshow Cy and Cyrus the sword. debuting his show “Down The Hatch” in February in Los Angeles. He started juggling, fire eating, sword swallowing and doing all sorts of sideshow acts in Virginia and came out to audition for Dangerous D during a performance at Ozzfest and ended up moving in with him. He talks about all that can go wrong if you make a mistake and demonstrated swallowing 2 swords and eating a lightbulb.

Filmmaker Dustin Ferguson and pinup model Tamera Von Tart joined Mark In studio for a terrific show featuring 2 people who followed and are living their dreams

Dustin is from Nebraska and started out making fanedits of horror classics such as the Texas Chainsaw Massacre movies (and agrees with Mark that TCM: The Next Generation is an underrated classic). He soon began making videos for industrial bands such as KMFDM, Lords of Acid and My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult and shooting his own movies such as Meathook Massacre, Horndog Beach Party and his biggest film Nemesis 5, which inspired his move to LA. He hasn’t stopped, filming an average of 8 movies a year including the upcoming Robowoman and Killer Tomatoes reboot as well as pursuing his rap career as Dirty D. which has also caused a lot of controversy and discussion.

Tamera grew up in Florida and was inspired by the timeless and somewhat naughty fashion of Bettie Page and, despite being a single mother, pursued her dreams of being a pinup model. The road went through Washington, where her tattoos surprisingly weren’t well received and Hot Topic, where she was chastised for being too bright, then ending up living in a pink house and hosting shoots for such luminaries as Masuimi Max. She also became a regular at the Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Festival and on magazines and websites worldwide.

ARTivist Jil Love and comedian Jamie Gendron joined Mark and Hannah on The Dark Mark Show.

Jil followed up her protest where she put a gold toilet on Donald Trump’s star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame by actually building a wall adjacent to the star. With the help of prosthetics master Cleve Hall her naked body was made up to look like it was made of concrete so that she could look like she is bursting from the wall. She also left art supplies, tomatoes and eggs and let the tourists in Hollywood do what they wanted and wait until you hear what they did.

Jamie spilled the tea on some men she was with, both in the Hollywood scene and in New Orleans. She finally settles the long awaited question: who is bigger in the pants Eddie Murphy or River Phoenix. She also spills the tea on everyone from Robert D’Zar of Maniac Cop fame and Larry Linville aka Frank Burns from MASH. Mortis talked about growing up in Bakersfield and gaining an appreciation for the outlaw country scene, why the devil rejected him, correspondence he had with Nikki Sixx and The Texas Hippie Coalition, how he built a studio and makes metal records without a band, his shocking stage show which landed him a spot on a festival with one of his influences Green Jelly and his battles with alcoholism and depression and how he conquered those demons and the scary dolls he sells and uses in his stage show

Lilian grew up in Michigan, where she was an unlikely friend to both the goths and jocks, though she was called a witch in school, she was living in Chicago when she struck a Facebook correspondence with Mortis which led to her following her dream and moving to LA where she is go go dancing at the Vampire Ball (they offered to pay her in fangs) and Batcave as well as Mortis’ stage show where she has a dance she calls the “bloodbath”.

Justin de Vries and Philip Haut of the band House of Light joined Mark and Hannah for a free wheeling discussion of music and so much more

Justin grew up in Australia, but found himself hitchhiking around Europe, where he ended up in Berlin and formed the band which is influenced by postpunk, shoegaze, goth and Abba (!). He is in LA right now and gave his thoughts on remixing, political correctness, interracial dating, several Australian bands and how he wants his vocals much louder on his upcoming 3rd album.

Philip is from the Virginia area and gave a clinic on the GoGo music scene in the late 1980s, and what is was like to be a GoGo drummer at the time. He is the American drummer for HOL and has trouble knowing when the beat comes in on some of the trickier songs. He also is an engineer and has a few anecdotes about recording LL Cool J interviewing Dr. Dre on Sirius XM

Ty Asoudegan is the center of the rock and roll universe. From his stops in Philly Chicago and now Hollywood he has stories about such diverse musicians as Slash Ween Buddy Guy Bad Brains Cinderella Alkatrazz and Scott Ian is a guitar teacher at School of Rock and has partied with Bam Margera and lived to tell the tale and rock the Viper Room and Whisky a Go Go with his band Fastride.

It was a Hannah’s choice this week as Mark and Hannah welcomed singer/musician/actor Princess Frank and comedian Nikki Wantz to the lighter side of the dark side

Princess talked about how Prince and taking the piss out of people inspired his name, reminisced about playing the famous clubs on the Sunset Strip while an underage teenager, and how he transfers his enthusiasm to music to the students that he teaches today. He started on drums, but plays all instruments and sings, which he did on the AVN nominated song “Rock and Roll in Your Butthole” with adult film star Joanna Angel and described what it was like partying with assorted porn stars. He also made his acting debut in the movie “Scumbag” along with rock stars such as En Esch, Keith Morris, Jennifer Finch as well as the “party monster” himself Michael Elig, but it was interacting with someone who wasn’t a star that was his biggest challenge.

Nikki became the first person to be on The Dark Mark Show on Renagade Radio 4 times. He spoke about how her comedy is evolving and she no longer is trying to be self-depricating. She offered her opinions and experience about oral and anal sex, talked about how much fun comedy festivals are, especially in New Orleans, how to get an agent and her upcoming gig in downtown LA where she will perform fully clothed at a Nude Arts Festival.

Mark and Hannah welcomed Amazon Eve from American Horror Story and the new film Chimera Strain, sideshow maniac Dangerous D. and strongman/wrestler Joe Killmeister to the studio and chaos ensued.

Joe bent a railroad spike, then everyone was impressed when Eve bent it back, Dangerous D. attempted his most challenging stunt yet, lifting 2 heavy chairs with his earlobes. If that wasn’t enough Joe swung an animal trap from the most sensitive part of his body (yes, that part). Then Mark challenged Eve to arm wrestling, which led to a full wrestling match. As Mark tried to catch his breath and wait for the red to drain from his face, Joe bent a frying pan. This was all topped by Dangerous D rapping over Amazon Eve beatboxing.

She recounted insisting that Scott Thompson of Kids in the Hall not perform in drag, how Julia Sweeney now regrets her hit character Pat from SNL, how she felt when she saw her comedy nemesis Andrew Dice Clay in A Star Is Born and she had to remind Mark that the Fabulous Mrs Maisel was a fantasy. She also talked about The Rockwell in Los Feliz which is where Uncabaret is now on a monthly basis.

Savannah talked about growing up with show business parents (who apparently had jokes about editors) her music video Creature which was chosen as one of the top 20 videos of 2018 by Yahoo, directing her latest video Rock and Roll No More while laying in a coffin in the rain and sang a new song Freeway live in studio

Tamera just got back from the rockabilly festival Viva Las Vegas, and talks about what a crazy time it was as well as defines rockabilly for David. Mark welcomed singer/guitarist Rocky Kramer, comedian J.R. Redwater and promoter Angela Monzon to the lighter side of the dark side.

Rocky was born in Norway the son of 2 symphony orchestra musicians. He was able to play violin starting at the age of 5 but was drawn to guitar shortly after inspired by musicians as diverse as Yngwie Malmsteen and David Gilmour. He details his road to Hollywood including meeting 3/4 of Kiss and talks about his upcoming album Firepower and upcoming European tour with Buckcherry

Angela comes from a talented family herself as her uncle is comedian Paul Rodriguez and her cousin is skateboarder Paul Rodriquez, she talks about all sorts of wild and haunted events that have happened at 5 Star Bar where she works including some fisticuffs at a Dead Boys Show. She is now promoting comedy shows there.

JR Redwater is one of the comedians who has headlined 5 Star Bar. He was also on Showtime and has a tour of fellow Native Americans called The Chiefs of Comedy. He in his signature deadpan delivery talked about getting kicked out of Shanghai, his ex wife and kids, his own journey to Hollywood and his own story about meeting Gene Simmons, witnessing a death and then having to perform comedy right afterwards.

The Dark Mark Show took a hard right as Mark and Hannah welcomed Singer/Actress/Fashionista/Activist Joy Villa and Stand Up Comedian TIno Sanchez to the lighter side of the dark side

Joy has been busy shocking liberals at award shows, most recently wearing a pro life dress to the Daytime Emmy Awards and a Pink Floyd inspired wall dress to the Grammys complete with barbed wire. She told her story of both being adopted, putting her own child up for adoption and talked about the pro-adoption charity Save the Storks. She also talked about the good and bad about her viral fame, the good being the sales of her albums, including her new one Home Sweet Home skyrocketing, the bad being racial epithets and death threats.

Tino came in typically like a house on fire. He talked about how he met Joy on Hollywood Blvd and how Dark Mark being a friend to them both broke the ice, had some stories and loud opinions on gun control, even though no one was arguing with him, describes himself as a libertarian who has been won over by Trump and describes the difference between doing comedy in Las Vegas and LA, decries political correctness and gets to roast Dark Mark a little. He barely got a chance to talk about the cause dearest to his heart, pit bull rescues.

Hannah was surrounded by funny people this week as she and Mark welcomed Jonathan David and Rotten Kitty to the lighter side of the dark side

Jonathan grew up in Washington state and his parents are both deaf thus he was compelled to learn some interesting sign language

He has overcome a heroin addiction as well as a stutter and is making people laugh on comedy stages all over the west coast.

His one man show Signs will be part of Hollywood fringe festival this year and is a must see.

Kitty returned to the show for the first time since she had pickup artist Ross Jeffries on his hands and knees asking her out. She had some experience with sign language and got some clarification on the dirty words. She explained how she transitioned from being a burlesque dancer to a host to a stand up comedian and bonded with Hannah about bad dates and bad breath.
