I originally met Phil a year ago and have been on his popular podcast Unexplained Inc. We've stayed in contact and when I learned Phil had completed his Shaman certification, I was eager to have him on the show. Phantom" Phil Warder is a life-long native of southern Ontario, Canada. He holds diplomas in Radio/Television Broadcasting as well as Artist Management. Phil has been on a spiritual journey for almost a decade and while he has honed skills in media as well as the entertainment business he has pivoted to becoming a full time lightworker. Is your festive holiday mood tinged with a little bit of sadness? In a season full of warm gatherings with loved ones and cherished family traditions, it’s not unusual to find yourself reminded of those who have passed and longing to feel their presence one more time. Grief is complicated and unique for everyone. While accepting loss becomes easier over time, it is often something we carry with us forever.
The holiday season is not always as merry as we want it to be. It is normal to feel apprehensive about it and you are not alone in feeling that way. Please remember that there is no right or wrong way to approach the holiday season following the loss of a loved one. If you experience happiness, allow it to enter into your grief space and be present with the people around you. Be kind to yourself and try to take it one holiday party and one feeling at a time.

The spiritualization of self is one of the most neglected areas of ones spiritual development. Early on in my development I stumbled upon this without even realizing what is was. When I began my journey and experiences with the spiritualization of self, many people I was close with who I considered mentors and spiritual teachers were not talking a lot about it. Their teachings were more focused on communicating with the world of spirit, but were missing this crucial component, the spiritualization of self. I recently have gone through what some might call an initiation, or another level of healing. This was initiated after I took my Usui Reiki Level 1 & 2. Through the 21 day detox I did a tremendous amount of shadow work. I healed alot of crap, and I'm still healing. I share this with you because we're all healing and there should be no shame in that.

During this episode I had an amazing and soul filled conversation with Adam Berry. Adam is a modern-day Spiritualist medium with traditional values, who grew up in and around Bury, Lancashire. Adam was awarded the Spiritualist National Union’s (SNU) prestigious Gordon Higginson Memorial Scholarship Award in 2016 and has since been awarded a Certificate of recognition with the SNU (CSNU) in both speaking and Demonstrating. Adam is known for his compassion and dedication in serving others searching for proof of survival of the soul after physical death. This belief has led him to seek the very highest of standards in mediumship and knowledge of the Soul & Spirit, and he continues to study to this day in order to be of service. From experiences as a young child, his desire and drive to gain knowledge led him to study at The Arthur Findlay College, the world-renowned college for the advancement of Spiritualism and psychic sciences, which opened his mind and Spiritual development further. One of the most neglected areas of mediumship development is the spiritualization of self.
The spiritualization of self is the process of developing a deeper understanding and connection to one’s inner self and spiritual being. It involves self-reflection, mindfulness, and connecting with one’s sense of purpose and values. It is a journey of discovering who you truly are and what you are here to do in this life. It also involves opening up to being guided by a higher power and being more open to the possibilities of life.
When people over-look this part of their development, it causes filters that affect and alter the purity of the information coming from the world of spirit.
Personal development and self-reflection are invaluable for mediums. It’s so important to be aware of how our own feelings and beliefs can influence our mediumship and how to ensure that we are not projecting our own thoughts and feelings onto the spirit world. Taking the time to reflect on our own thoughts and feelings and how they may be influencing our mediumship can help us to become better mediums and to ensure that our communications with the spirit world are as pure and accurate as possible.

💫 Resolve the need to be "right" in your mediumship. No medium is 100% accurate, and those that claim they are, well, stay clear of them.
