A dreamy idea grew to an amazing minimalist art deco inspired wedding day - sleek and modern to match her grandparents property, a less is more approach. COVID came through and changed their plans, like so many others had happen to them during 2020, however Alex suggested that sending out invitations, round by round, helped navigate the guest list reduction, and manage expectations of all involved with their wedding day.

This episode of the You and Me Podcast spotlights REAL BRIDE Bridie Mancuso and delves into her gorgeous Bryon Bay wedding with now husband Micky.

How they met is a moment of contention - dependent on who you ask, however moving in together in only 8 weeks after meeting, their engagement came on their three year anniversary, amongst the broad beans in the veggie patch at his grandparents family home.

A year long engagement allowed Bridie to find her dream venue, while on holiday in Byron Bay and one look at Deux Belettes - she got that incredible feeling that this space was the one for them.

Being from a different state, and as a couple - two very different people (Bridie, the free spirit, Micky the excel guru) Bridie had a planner to allow her to be able to focus on the creative side, while they took over the technical and logistical elements.

Including suppliers such as Three Blue Ducks, Joey and Jase and Nikau Florals, Bridie made sure that the focus was on the look and feel of the venue and the vibe and ambience for the guests.

A relaxed and romantic day, Bride and Micky wanted to create a stress free celebration, which allowed them to enjoy the day with their loved ones, a destination wedding allowing them to stretch the time with them, and make the most of the magical surroundings. Bridie lets us know that planning a wedding is an incredible learning experience for a couple - however compromise is key, and make sure you are picking your battles when faced - a relaxed approach will allow you to enjoy the moment even more!

Georgia and Michel were overseas in Sardinia, Italy when he proposed, with Georgia thinking they were watching a wedding at their hotel, when in actual fact - Michael was asking her to marry him!

With both Georgia and Michael having ties to Greece, the idea of getting married there was first the first thoughts as they were traveling after their initial engagement.

200 people for a destination wedding may seem alot to some, however with Greek weddings, on average, being 400+, this would be considered an intimate event!

Traditional elements were important to both Georgia and Michael, as they got married at the same Church as her sister, stayed in the same houses as family members had for the prior wedding, and had a ceremony with traditional Greek elements such as the Stefana crowns which allowed them to pay homage to their heritage.

Georgia takes us through planning a wedding from afar and the challenges faced when having a destination wedding, the legal requirements you have to keep on top of to make sure your wedding can happen and for those traveling domestically in Europe - you may need to book A WHOLE PLANE SEAT for your wedding dress!!!!

This episode of the You and Me Podcast spotlights REAL BRIDE Christy Baird (now Doxtator) founder and owner of LOHO bride and her wedding to now husband Brian in the magical Palm Springs.

Christy wore five different dress options throughout the weekend of her wedding - and who wouldn't when you have access to the amazing designers that she does through her store!

Anyone who has visited LOHO BRIDE will know that Christy does not do traditional. The store's name is an acronym for "League Of Her Own" and Christy lived up to that sentiment and more when she married co founder and entrepreneur Brian Doxtator.

Christy and Brian picked Palm Springs as their destination of choice for their wedding day - keeping the wow of the venue the main focus, and entertaining guests with a relaxed yet elegant affair.

A pool party, a recovery brunch and rehearsal drinks at a reminiscent old dive bar, the pair enjoyed a few days to relax and enjoy the company of their closest friends and family.

Felix and Liv meet in middle school, yet went different directions until the end of high school where their worlds aligned, and brought them back together, this time for good!

They were together for 7 years, and were not shy with their desire to get engaged and wed, however Felix still managed to surprise Liv with a proposal on their favourite walk from Bondi to Bronte, down on the beach.

Liv and Felix had always known they wanted an intimate garden party, and enjoyed a short ceremony which allowed for a longer celebration with friends and family. Quality over quantity was Liv's mindset, and she drew on the location of where they were married and lots of research via Pinterest and Instagram to help narrow her style focus, and help encourage only the most meaningful of details to be included.

Jasmine and Sam met as Jasmine returned to Australia from living O/S, in the modern love story way - online :)

Engaged within the year, they decided they were both there for the same reason, and wed not long later, in a small elopement with two of their closest (local!) family members, in Palm Beach, Qld.

First planning on Tuscany, yet having the COVID postponement on their watch, Jasmine decided that instead of wearing the original dress she had planned for her Tuscan wedding - she'd get her mothers wedding dress shipped to her for her big day instead and bring them close to her that way.

With her mum loving Stephanie Seymour so much in her Guns N Roses wedding dress - there was no surprise that Jasmine asked for the dress that she could chop and create into a mini for her day!

The fabric ended up being too delicate, yet Jasmine and the team at @j.andreatta decided to source the polka dot tulle from her mothers dress instead and create a mini that was a little bit her mum, a little bit Jasmine, and a little bit Guns N Roses November Rain.

Philly decided to take fate into her own hands, and, once laying eyes on Milos across a bowls club bar, walked right on over and offered to buy him a drink! Sensing his calming and honest nature, Philly took the leap and approach a more traditional Milos - who made the point to buy the first drink., however the rest , as they say, is history!

Philly and Milos decided they first wanted to bring all their loved ones to Sydney and rent a property on Sydney Harbour - really be able to show their interstate and international guests the essence of Sydney - however with Philly wanting a garden styled wedding - none of the harbour properties quiet got it right - and so Philly stumbled across their incredible wedding venue, family home Somerley House @somerleys.weddings on Instagram and all their boxes were ticked in the one space!

With Philly's solid background in graphic design, and her intimate knowledge of which colour palette she wanted, and what styling idea's she envisioned - she connected with the incredible Dani from @themakehaus_ and together they created the most amazing nod to Europe in Australia that they could with a colour palette that included rich honey tones and soft dusty blues.

This episode of the You and Me Podcast spotlights REAL BRIDE Laura Johns, who married her beau Jack at the incredible The Wildflower in Perth.

Laura and Jack met at school leavers, on Rottnest Island, and shortly after started dating - bringing their relationship to a decade before an engagement was on the cards!

Laura works within the jewellery industry - PR + events for @linneys_jewellery and so was able to create with Jack her dream ring, after Jack proposed with a loose diamond which allowed Laura to work in a design alongside him and be involved within the entire process!

With their proposal in Tasmania, it was only fitting that Jack and Laura decided to get married at the incredible MONA - however with COVID hitting the week of their wedding, they had to shift their focus once realising that it was not going anywhere for a while - and decided to reduced their 100+ guest list to a smaller, more intimate wedding in their home town of Perth.

Starting again at square one, they planned their new wedding in four months - and decided to have the big party when all goes back to a new normal in the near future.

24 guests were invited to their intimate wedding, at the Wildflower Perth, enjoying degustation dining and a big end experience. Laura works within the events space, and so allowed her to be able to have the prior knowledge of who and what she wanted for her wedding day - and hand pick premium vendors to finish the experience for her and Jack's wedding day,

This episode of the You and Me Podcast spotlights REAL BRIDE Charlotte Viney, who got married AFL footballer Jack Viney at Mitchelton Wines in Victoria's high country.

Charlotte + Jack were high school sweethearts and married pre-COVID alongside over 100 of their closest friends and family during the summer of 2019.

Being an organised person, Charlotte decided to plan her wedding herself, leaning on the local recommendations from her wedding co-ordinator at Mitchelton Wines, and some solid Instagram research!

The search for the dress was not necessarily the smoothest process, with Charlotte finally settling on enlisting the custom design of Oglia-Loro, who added crystals and feathers, sheer details and cut outs - and an incredible second dress change allowed her to push creative boundaries!

This episode of the You and Me Podcast spotlights REAL BRIDE Brit Selwood, who married her sweetheart Geelong Cats superstar Joel Selwood at a friends property in regional Victoria in the summer of 2020.

Joel is by far the most romantic one of the pair, and created a secret proposal with the help of Campbell Point House, an incredible European inspired chateau style of accommodation, located in regional Victoria, Australia.

Brit though she was going to a photoshoot there to promote their new availabilities and offerings, and turned around during the shoot to Joel down on one knee!

Brit and Joel were lucky enough to have friends who own a horse stud, and were able to set up their dream day amongst the European style garden's with the help of local planner, Laura Harvey. Brit had a very strong idea of the specific suppliers she wanted to include in her wedding day, and the likes of Hum Drum Films and Joey and Jase were there to capture all the magical details!

Brit suggests to all brides planning their wedding day to embrace the crazy if the crazy comes along! Guests can see a bride or groom's aprehension and a vibe is created with how much fun the couple getting married are actually having themselves, and so she says, let your hair down, set the tone of your own wedding and enjoy the moment!

This episode of the You and Me Podcast spotlights REAL BRIDE Hanna Forrest, who, married her partner Robbie in a gorgeous outdoor ceremony + extended cocktail reception at The Royal Perth Yacht Club.

Hanna and Robbie met at university, and were engaged fairly early on in their relationship, with a proposal at home, utilising their gorgeous dog to help Robbie pop the question!

As Robbie had always been an avid sailor, they married at Royal Perth Yacht Club, keeping their aesthetic crisp and chic with classic whites and greens.

Chantelle, a Melbourne model and Tanner a primary school teacher met when they were teenagers, traveling the world together, and building a house before becoming engaged and finally marrying in the summer of 2021.

An incredible process with wedding dress designer Mariana Hardwick was documented by wedding day photographers Lost In Love where Mariana and Chantelle created her dream silhouette for her ceremony, which can be found on their Instagram page and gives everyone an insight into the process that creative teams go through to make your wedding dress dreams a reality.

A stunning summers day, Chantelle and Tanner danced the night away with all their guests under a clear marquee under the stars.

This episode of the You and Me Podcast spotlights REAL BRIDE Laura Cole, who married her beau Aidan in a gorgeous intimate setting, surrounded by 30 of their closest people in regional Victoria.

Laura and Aidan were booked in for a large scale marquee wedding with close to 200 guests when COVID hit and changed their plans dramatically.

Understanding the risk of such a large gathering having the potential to not go ahead with how turbulent the year 2020 was, Laura and Aidan made the incredibly tough decision, like many in their position during the past year, to postpone their large scale event, and opt for a smaller celebration with their closest friends and family.

To be able to achieve this new option, they had to source a new venue + even some new suppliers than those they had originally booked, and change their entire outlook on what they thought their day would be initially to what is what actually now going to look like.

Scaling back the guest numbers allowed Laura and Aidan to invest in premium details throughout their celebration, with a focus on being able to indulge with their guests and really create an atmosphere that not only celebrated them as a couple getting married, but also their love for those in the room with them!

This episode of the You and Me Podcast spotlights REAL BRIDE Crystal Kimber, who married her beau Andy in a gorgeous celebration held under the stars in regional Victoria, channeling all the mid summer European vibes!

Crystal channelled her inspiration, and the beginnings of her creative process with the inspiration of Poppy Delevingne's floral wedding dress - so on the hunt she went! Not wanting her dress to look like a representation of grandma's curtains, a long process followed before Crystal sourced and secured a fabric that, based solely off a small swatch, created her dream gown! Statement sleeves, a bold yet untraditional choice of colour (check out the blush!) and pairing it all back with a simple yet long scale white tulle train ensured that she was able to have all her guests in a white/neutral dress code - and be able to enjoy her pop of power florals for her dream day!

Not without their challenges, which included a kitchen that decided to cease in the middle of meal prep! (book a back up generator for your back up generator team!) and a slight (60ml) flash flood the night before - nothing stopped these two from celebrating their love with their closest friends and family.

This episode of the You and Me Podcast spotlights REAL BRIDE Julia Lomas, director at Lomaskerr, a public relations and brand advocacy company based in New Zealand. Julia married her beau Jeremy in an inner city celebration, in Queenstown, on the South Island of NZ.

Originally planning for the overseas euro summer dream, Julia + Jeremy had decided, and completely organised their wedding day in Copenhagen fort July 2020...but of course, with all that the world had to content with that year, this was not meant to be, and they had to make the heartbreaking decision to cancel their wedding in Denmark, a place full of memories and experiences for them and hold a similar styled version of their dream back home.

With so many magical spaces right at their back door, their first stop was Jack's point, wild and so very picturesque, it's backdrop is New Zealand captured in one image. A dress change, a location change and a full wedding day vibe change later, Julia and Jeremy ended back up in Queenstown itself, channeling the likeness of their original plan in Copenhagen for their reception.

Enjoying the perks of having a reception hosted by the luxurious hotelier group at Eichardt's Hotel, Jeremy and Jules, dined and danced the night away in the epitome of style.

This episode of the You and Me Podcast spotlights REAL BRIDE Sandra Kim, owner of Mikcardnas (nee-car-na), a luxurious handmade knit bag/accessories company based in New Your City who married now husband Tim in one of New York's finest event spaces, The Foundry.

Sandra and Tim met through mutual friends at a college party, and were together for 8 years, before Tim popped the question secretly (to Sandra anyway ;) surrounded by their family at a lakeside cabin in upstate New York.

With family based in both New York and Philadelphia, Sandra and Tim knew that one of those locations would be the site for their wedding day. After much deliberation - they couldn't go past The Foundry in NY - known for its nod to the aesthetics of a countryside European villa, something not found in many venues locally, the courtyard especially caught Sandra's eye, large scale brick walls with sweeping growing ivy - a real anomaly in amongst a city full like spaces.

Sandra utilised Instagram to find some of her key suppliers such as Lucie Weddings, Ripple Weddings and florist Oh Fluer, understanding the importance of being drawn to an aesthetic and mood of each vendor to work together to help create their dream day!

Locking eyes on each other from opposite ends of the aisle - a moment to remember in a day filled with love for Sandra and Tim.

This episode of the You and Me Podcast spotlights REAL BRIDE Prue Richardson, who married her partner Tom in a stunning rain forest wedding in the hinterland of NSW.

Tom proposed to Prue on a holiday in New York City. After a helicopter ride in the depths of winter - which was not Prue's pick on the "to do list" , Tom surprised her after 9 years together and then celebrated with their friends on a holiday in America to remember!

Planning a wedding in under 6 months, Prue and Tom had to change to change their date once due to covid and being located in a state that was NOT their venue's, however with the restrictions finally comparable - they were able to secure all the same suppliers...just a little later in the year!

Working for DISSH in the marketing department - Prue was able to utilise Byron Bay Weddings and Courtney Moore from Joy Creative to bring together her vision and creative aesthetic for her wedding day!

Nitty gritty details were so important for Prue to be able to get right, and organise - the more steam-lined the processes, the more co-ordinated the day was to be, and the more she could rest easy for her wedding day!

A stunning outdoor setting, enabling their guests to get the full experience of the Byron Bay Hinterland, Prue and Tom created a memorable day that allowed everyone, after the crazy covid year, to enjoy just being together!

This episode of the You and Me Podcast spotlights REAL BRIDE Marina Magri, who not even a month ago married her beau Carl in an incredible celebration in the heart of Melbourne, Victoria.

Marina and Carl dated for 4 years before going on an amazing European getaway in 2019. After a rocky start with their luggage being misplaced after their flight (and unbeknownst to Marina - a lost engagement ring amongst this!!) Carl proposed over in Malta with Marina's family present to celebrate this incredible milestone!

Back from overseas and right into the planning process - Marina and Carl began to source and secure all their suppliers through their venue Metropolis, which allowed a very smooth and streamlined process.

Marina chose to enlist a custom design creation from Oglia Loro, which allowed her to create with them her dream dress, one that had detachable sleeves, eluding to a second style of dress for her reception - without Marina having to change her outfit at all!

Picking May 2021, they dodged COVID restrictions, set backs, snap lock downs and boarder closures to be able to celebrate with their loved loves on a stunning Autumn day.

A lavish Sydney oasis played host to their lunchtime nuptials, Nadia and Michael contended with the mother of all downpours directly after their ceremony, forcing them to move inside, play a few games and enjoy a cocktail with their guests. Come reception time, the clouds parted and the sun shone down on the gorgeous couple.

Finishing their most memorable day ever partying on a boat in the harbour, Nadia and Michael danced the night away with their closest friends, ringing in married life in style.

You'll never believe this weeks REAL BRIDE episode and what they forgot to bring with them to their airport!!! (Hint - its long and white and the bride wears this on their wedding day!!!!!)

Globe trotting couple Sabina + Lino chose to marry in gorgeous Mykonos. Planning their dream day from afar, around the current global pandemic, they were able to gather just under 100 of their closest friends and family together for a celebration that will be remembered for years to come!

Sabina and Lino chose Soho Rock House in Mykonos to host their dream day, Due to COVID shutting down their ability to visit the venue prior to their wedding - they were required to pull together all elements only the week before (imagine!!!) when they first arrived on the island.

Luckily for them with an incredibly positive attitude, a touch of good luck, a super helpful wedding planner and an amazingly accomodating venue were able to bring to life their dream day!

Today's REAL BRIDE episode features television presenter, journalist and producer Emma Vosti who married her beau Dan in the most magical setting at Cadella Park in rural Victoria.

Rewinding right back to the very first move in their relationship (let it be known - Emma was the instigator here ;) a Christmas catch up was the beginning of their love story - from there, a quick 10 months before they were engaged and a lightening fast 4 months until they wed! A quickly evolving relationship for some, however when you have the same core values, beliefs and life goals - why wait when you know?!

Emma approached her wedding planning journey with a clear goal, hired an army of incredible wedding vendors and had a spreadsheet to end all spreadsheets that guided her calmly through each individual booking. Placing her trust and support in her vendors to create magic for her on her wedding day - this marriage, which was the first at the venue, has set the bar for those to come and created a lifelong memory for Emma and Dan to be able to share with their growing failing, including little babe Jack.

As far as New Zealand weddings go - we cannot get enough of the incredible landscape the country offers, the unique creatives the wedding industry presents and the ever evolving fashion their couples embrace!

In today's REAL BRIDE episode we chat to Gracie Taylor-Hitchcock all about her wedding weekend to now husband Ali which was held picturesque New Zealand.

A few hairy moments in their planning journey added to the "COVID couple" experience, however Gracie + Ali were able to secure their dream day in between lockdowns and the rest of what a couple has to contend with over the last 18 months!

One of the things that drew us to wanting to chat with Gracie in the first place was her unique style and flawless take on a modern yet old-world concept for her wedding day accessories. Gracie wore statement sheer gloves, and a bespoke personalised headpiece. Having a friend who was a milliner allowed Gracie to design her head band around her dress concept - utilising fabric, design ideas and unique elements to become more than a fashion accessory, it took her whole look to the next level.

We hope your start to the new week is going well lovers!

Before we even were privy to her incredible nuptials in Byron Bay (which, by the way, took us to Europe and back with its total vibe and we are so very here for that right now!) we were sold on her engagement ring, A now iconic design - Natasha Chipman of Natasha Schweitzer blew us all away with her unique and impeccable taste - so of course we knew that her wedding to husband Kieran would be nothing short of the same sophisticated glamour.

Two very busy professionals, trying to tie down time to even begin the wedding planning process was tough - however one visit to Rae's on Wategos - they knew it was the place! Byron Bay held such fond memories for them - it was hard to see the day any where else!

However like so many couples over the last 18 months, the constant changing landscape meant that Natasha and Kieran had to reassess once Covid came into play and restricted their guests numbers and date availability.

With support of their incredible wedding vendors, they found a new date, changed venue, increased the guest list to envelope ALL their favourite people, and created a day encapsulating the romantic south of France vibes that Deux Belettes gives to each person lucky enough to visit.

Long tables, French champagne and moonlit dancing - old world elegance for a modern day couple.

Slipping into her second dress for the evening for her first dance, Steph and Josh created life long memories with their friends and family dancing under the moonlight, well into the early hours of the morning.

Enjoying an intimate dinner on the front porch of the rambling Italian inspired villa - an alfresco celebration occurred well into the evening. Leaning into the brides favourite colour and the main hue of the renowned homestead - an explosion of saffron toned vibes warmed the guests and instilled a classic country charm onto the luxurious energy at Krinklewood.

We are back for another week of wedding chat and today on the pod we have the ever gorgeous Brooke Hogan discussing her incredible wedding day spent with friends and family at a venue close to their hearts - Myles’s family-run Hotel Sorrento in Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula.

Brooke and Myles frequented the space with their friends and family on a regular basis - and wanted to give them a different experience that what they would be expecting if hosting their wedding at the hotel - so opted to design a classically elegant dinner, hosted under the stars.

Keeping the romantic and timeless details to a aesthetically pleasing minimum, Brooke decided to go with a seaside inspired colour palette alike to the tones of the ocean in front of them and leaned on Alison from The Petal Project to create a dreamy floral explosion with hints of blue in a "sky meets sea" approach to their creative design.

Being the own of multiple businesses and a busy life schedule - Brooke knew that prioritising the important elements to organise first became the key to a smooth and enjoyable wedding planning process. With support from friends and family - Brooke and Myles came together on a gorgeous summers day, to tie the knot in an incredibly personal way.

James and Adriana met through friends at school at 16 years old and amongst a few growth periods that saw them work through their own paths in life - came together to celebrate their wedding day at the gorgeous Stones of the Yarra Valley in regional Victoria

Being a designer for a top bridal house - Adriana was privy to the inner-working minds of many brides as they went through the planning process however the design of her dress was at the forefront of her mind when her turn came around.

The final product was a dress that was a little bit different, a little bit out there but a whole lot her! Adriana made sure that she was involved within the entire process to oversee the making of the dress and enjoyed being on the other side of such an important experience with owner of bridal house Kyha by her side.

A top piece of advice she shared with us was to invest a little more in the important suppliers - don't spread yourself thin on having it all, compromise on those elements that don't mean as much to you as others and prioritise your spends so that what you're focusing on is what you will be reminded of when you look back on your wedding day.

Covid played a part in their journey - like so many other couples over the last few years. Amy would have been happy to have a court house wedding, but Rory wanted a celebration - so into the planning phase they jumped! Their guests list changed a few times and with the pesky boarder closures - restrictions left them with an imitate 26 people in attendance - however their guest list made sure to enveloped them with love, laughter and a really fun dance floor!

A year postponement meant that their original date had to change but their venue The Bower Estate in the Queensland Hinterland stayed the same and was on hand to help with all elements - suggesting suppliers, supporting the couple in planning requirements and coordinating the wedding day so that Amy and Rory to be able to enjoy each and every element as it came to them.

The look and feel of their wedding day was really made to invoke a feeling for their guests - romantic and relaxed - a day that focused on the fun elements rather than overboard aesthetics.

With a love for musician Nick Cave, Amy saw that his wife's designer brand The Vampire's Wife created some incredible fashion pieces and so - and without trying it on - purchased on a whim what turned out to be her wedding dress! Shimmering silver details and statement sleeves - Amy's dress was the epitome of her outlook to her day - personal, individual and comfortable while looking incredible - a day that finally arrived and allowed them to celebrate such a special moment with their families and loved ones.

Today on The You and Me Podcast we chat with Hannah Chody - NYC resident and VP in the family business as she delves into the twists and turns of getting married abroad!

After being pre-warned on the plane flight over that this was NOT the time that they'd get engaged, Hannah was completely surprised by her husband-to-be but also her family (who were in on the elaborate secret proposal) on a family vacation to Mexico. While preparing for the annual family Christmas card photoshoot, Chad proposed to Hannah under the Mexican sun and they were luckily able to celebrate with her family long into evening as the sun went down!

With family and friends from all over the United States - they decided that Lake Como in Italy would be the place that they would get married. Holidaying there each year - they had intimate knowledge of the local area yet worked alongside planner Rachel Birthistle to bring together the best suppliers that brought an intimate yet bold aesthetic to their day and a dance floor that lasted well into the evening!

Individually hand painted plates for guests, snake motifs throughout their creative and a nod to her mum in her afterparty frock - Chad and Hannah treated those most special to them to a three day affair that imprinted the fondest of memories on all those who attended.

Planning a wedding with friends and family all across the country of Australia in the middle of Covid meant that Jessy and Michael had to attempt three different guest lists, change to three different locations and attempt to design three different styles of events all while juggling state lockdowns, boarder closures and flight cancellations to finally be able to have their dream day.

A sit down long lunch in the gardens was decided upon as their reception - and maybe it can be seen as bucking the norm or changing up the format yet the afternoon spent with friends and family was quintessentially them - and goes to show that its so important to plan your day the way you want it to go!

Another positive for a long lunch celebration? An early night means that the celebrations could continue the next day!!

Tequila shots before the ceremony, a Margarita truck and sunset photos as a closing formality allowed Jessy and Michael to enjoy their wedding day with their guests in their own way, have actual conversations with those who attended for more than a minute and allowed them to reminisce on the journey it took to get there - with the most important thing being - they had their day, their way (as best you can manage it during the Covid years!)

Braidan and Lexi met while they both lived in Brisbane yet came together again when Lexi made the trip down to live in Sydney with him after some long distance relationship work. Braidan was able to convince Lexi to come with him for a picnic in the park with Lexi thinking the ring box was actually chocolate brownies! She was in for the best surprise when she turned around with him down on one knee asking her to marry him!

Lexi and Braidan worked alongside Belinda from The Curated Life and got married in a private residence in Elizabeth's Bay in NSW - surrounding themselves with amazing suppliers such as Erin and Tara for their photography, they leaned on the professionalism of the suppliers to come together to create magical moments for them and their guests.

The weather played havoc in the lead up to their wedding day - stressful moments were had the morning of, with torrential rain setting in for what seemed like the rest of the year! And yet, as you had it, the weather cleared just in time for their ceremony, and the rest of the day was enjoyed in and outside by guests!

Fresh whites and and the subtlest hint of baby blue drove their creative aesthetic, with Lexi and Braidan treating their guests to a surprise saxophonist, and a dance floor that lasted well into the evening!

Attending the same small university but never crossing paths, Sonny and Remi met instead at the local races, a big day turned even bigger night - yet both of them decided from that moment forward that they were meant to be together..

Remi knew Sonny's sister from uni without knowing him just yet - which allowed her to essentially get a head start on the dating game - their values aligned, his family was nice - this was someone Remi knew she wanted to explore life with!

A proposal that was personal and intimate - a low key setting that reflected their personalities and kept the special moments just for them to enjoy.

Remi had some prior experience in the events and PR scope so began the process of wedding planning with the most important elements being their wedding location - which they knew they wanted to keep local for their family and friends.

One piece of advice that Remi continuously comes back to throughout her entire planning process was that the investment for each couple should be most importantly made with themselves in mind! The non-negotiable details are those that they, as the couple, remember. Don't worry about the little things that may go a tad rouge, or the changes that can potentially occur at the last minute (like those pesky bread rolls on the dinner tables being placed WAY too early!) - none of them matter in the grand scheme of things! Grab a champagne and hit the dance floor - those are the memories you'll want to make!

Meeting through mutual friends - Sarah and Matty began the relationship with a quick couch chat at a Christmas afterparty, and rekindled on a holiday to Bali!

Noosa holds a special place in their heart and made the most sense for them to explore a destination wedding there - close enough for all guests to be able to attend, they created a garden party styled soiree under the stars, dancing within a clear roof marquee well after the sun went down.

Long tables lined with their closest loved ones, Sarah's fondest memories really were the time spent with those around them - it's not every day you get a room full of all your special people.

Not every event goes to plan though and Sarah had the guest bus turn up at the location where she was getting ready and having photos instead of arriving at the venue!! The guests started to get a sneak peak of the bride just a little too early - thank goodness Matty was not on that bus!

Able to laugh about it now - she was lucky enough to have a wedding planner on hand throughout her process to help navigate hiccups here and there - and a dedicated bridal party to shield her from all the excited eyes!
