We thought it’d be fun to share our contrasting experiences in London - from the view point of a newbie (Em) and someone born and bred (Danielle).  Our friendship has evolved with quite a few laughs as we tend to tease each other on certain American vs. British words and phrases. SO, we start out the episode with a bit of a fun ice breaker.  We then get into our journeys through London, how as an ex-pat I networked and made friends, tips for how to find your new normal in a brand new place, and ultimately how I got to know the brilliant city that is London.

Afterwards, she worked for the UN before starting her GDL.  After making the decision to not finish her third degree, she then became a certified yoga teacher, started studying healing nutrition like Ayurveda and traditional Chinese Medicine. This left her to decide to launch her brand Hautlistic to ultimately work with women to help heal their mind, body, and soul through a blend of eastern and western traditions.

Jessie started her career as a designer but discovered fitness whilst living in L.A.; and it was there that she learnt from the best, developed the Heartcore Method and was inspired to take the courageous step to bring boutique fitness to London.  She’s had an incredible journey so far, opening unique studios all over town, developing and manufacturing their Coreformer (which Vanity Fair called “the Rolls Royce of PilatesReformers”) and creating a really powerful community of beating hearts, so many of which she is proud to call friends.

The episode I'm sharing this week is from a live recording that took place in front of a beautiful female audience last week in NYC in collaboration with one of my favorite brands, MMLaFleur, a workwear brand that was founded on the belief that when women succeed, the world becomes a better place.  This panel really ended up being this beautiful medley of an uplifting but also very real talk on career, how we define and gauge success in a post pandemic world, moments of magic that help us feel connected, and how to better lean into our intuition and internal voice.  My 3 panelists Hitha Palepu, Kristin O'Keefe, and Olivia joan are incredible and all have these varying perspectives and stories to share.  We also hear from my dear friend and intuitive business coach Alex Caoila who opens us up with a beautiful meditation - there was really just so much magic in bringing together these women that night and I'm excited to share this with you now.
