02 Dec 2024 | The Big 60s Sort Out Ep 39: Beatles 64 Documentary Special | 00:52:23 | |
The Big Beatles Sort Out Presents: The Big 60s Sort Out! Yes, for season 4 we are taking a look at the decade that made (or was made?) by The Beatles, by ranking every UK number one, looking for sneaky Beatles links, and generally putting ourselves in the world where they crafted their legacy. In the last of our mid season pre-Xmas specials, we are talking about the new Beatles 64 documentary out now on Disney+. We recorded this literally the day after we both watched it, so this is very much a casual 'reaction' episode to ease us into our xmas break. I also mention the book 'The Beatle Who Vanished' by Jim Berkenstadt, which you can find out more about here: https://www.thebeatlewhovanished.com/ We hope you all have a lovely festive period and new year, and we will see you in 2025! If you want to view the chart up to the latest episode, you can do so here! Paul has a new music biopic Instagram feed you can check out here: https://www.instagram.com/Music_Biopic/ Below are links to our respective music projects! Apologies for the slightly tinny quality - this was recored on a portable recorder rather than our usual home studio set up, so slightly more roomy and with added fly and background noises. We hope you enjoy anyway and look forward to being back soon with the 2nd half of Series 2 where we will be looking at the Movies and Live at the BBC! See you soon! Also, I (Garry) have a new song out for January 2022 called 'Rusty Old World! Here are all the links: |
