04 Jun 2024 | Judith Orloff, MD: Using Empathy as a Healing Force – Part 2 | 00:27:34
Do you enjoy spending a lot of time alone? Are you more of an introvert? Are you sensitive and empathic to others’ needs? All of these traits may make it challenging to navigate our busy, noise-filled lives. Would you like to learn to be a more empowered empath? Lisa continues the conversation today with guest Judith Orloff, MD. Dr. Orloff is a psychiatrist, an empath, and author of the new book, “The Genius of Empathy,” which offers powerful skills to tap into empathy as a daily healing practice in your life and relationships. She talks about how mirror neurons in our brains activate empathy and how empathy then activates the parasympathetic nervous system. This tones the vagus nerve and relaxation can happen more easily. It changes the fight-or-flight reaction. Your immunity increases if you watch an act of empathy. For example, when you see loving, compassionate mothers with their children, it will help you relax. There is empathy in the world, even though all we seem to see on the news are wars and violence. We can affect one another. If you are empathic, for example, and waiting in a long line, you may pick up the feelings of those around you. Being compassionate can change the energy. She also talks about relationships for empaths, including work situations. She suggests keeping a light schedule before an event or planning to stay there just an hour or so. Setting boundaries is very important. She further discusses how empathic people may think things are their fault, but she teaches how to let go and go into forgiveness. She advises us to not think about the past all the time. You can forgive people who hurt you by accepting that they can’t change. If someone is mistreating you, minimize the contact with them or don’t have contact at all if possible. Enforce healthy boundaries. Meditation helps. She also talks about social activists and how retreats and time away can be very healing. It is necessary for them to replenish their energy and develop empathy for themselves. Meditation and mindfulness practices can be very beneficial. She believes all people, no matter their situation, are looking for empathy. When you are around challenging people, she suggests practicing a “sacred pause.” Take a pause, breathe, re-center, and resume the conversation from a healthier place. You can also practice empathic listening, which is a way to hold a support space for someone. She offers practical tools and steps which are included in her latest book, “The Genius of Empathy.” She also hosts Dr. Orloff’s Empath Support Community on social media. It’s free and everyone is welcome. Dr. Orloff has written many books, including “The Empath’s Survival Guide” and “Thriving as an Empath.” She is a New York Times bestselling author and a UCLA clinical faculty member. She synthesizes conventional medicine with cutting-edge knowledge of intuition, energy, and spirituality. Dr. Orloff specializes in treating highly sensitive people in her private practice. She has been featured on The Today Show, CNN, Oprah Magazine, and the New York Times. This is Part 2 of the interview. Info: DrJudithOrloff.com
11 Jul 2024 | Best of The Aware Show with Gangaji: Inner Peace – Discover Your True Radiance | 00:43:41
Do you often ask yourself questions like “Who am I?” or “Why am I here?” Today’s guest is spiritual teacher and author Gangaji who discusses her book “The Diamond in Your Pocket – Discover Your True Radiance.” Gangaji talks about how we are naturally conditioned to look outside of ourselves for food and shelter, so we continue to look there for answers. Eventually we discover that we cannot find peace and fulfillment outside and we need to turn inward. We seek and acquire knowledge, but some things can only be found inside. We can stop looking outside for the next book, the next teacher, the next escape. It’s so simple, yet revolutionary. Inside there’s potential for great creativity. She explains that it’s no longer “seeking” but “discovering.” It’s impossible to find lasting happiness outside. All pleasure fades, but lasting fulfillment can be found inside. Growing up in Mississippi, with the given birthname Toni Roberson, she felt something was missing in her life. She shares the story of finding her spiritual teacher Papaji. She is a very Western woman and never thought she would seek out a guru. She reached a point in her life where she realized she needed a teacher. She prayed and intended for one, then found herself in India six months later. Papaji was very welcoming. She recognized that this was the answer to her prayer. She found grace and radiance in his teachings. He suggested that she stop seeking and look inside for the truth. She was fearful to stop, as she thought she may lose what she had gained. She didn’t know what the outcome would be. He taught her to stop following the mind. If a thought arises, let it go. For a moment, turn your attention away from what you want. As she eventually did, she was overwhelmed with love and peace. She found peace and fulfillment exists already. She experienced stillness and it was scary at first. She learned to “see what is” and discover “what’s already here.” It’s our beingness. It’s consciousness. Some dislike what they see when they look inside. That’s all part of the process. Some people feel anguish or fear and other negative emotions. We suppress those feelings, or we can be in constant states of desire, looking for the next thing, and then the next. She suggests we just stop and take a moment. This takes vigilance, but then we can live life from that place. We can stop looking outside for satisfaction. So much energy is free. Gangaji also discusses the idea that “you are not who you think you are.” These thoughts continue and change. Stillness is beyond thought, but it’s your real self, your true self. Everything else is a story which can cause negative feelings. This Presence of “All That Is” is not something we have to “do” to experience. It’s crucial to realize we are in our thinking minds. We can experience this if we just “be.” It’s natural. Our minds will help us with survival. Peace is the nature of your heart. When there’s suffering, you must be present with the pain in your heart. She suggests that even though the whole body fights to survive, we can find peace in our hearts. We can discover it deeply after we get through the fear. It’s counter-intuitive, but it will pass. We can recognize that states come and go but inner “knowing” and stillness are always there. We can experience this peace. Gangaji teaches the willingness to learn that we are all connected. Destructive global events are tragic yet offer a way for us to discover the limitlessness of our own hearts. She also discusses the work she does within the prison environment, teaching people to learn to experience peace. We can all support one another. If we are willing to care, we can learn greater levels of love. Info: Gangaji.org.

Would you like to better communicate with your furry companions? According to our guest today, animal communication expert Amelia Kinkade, animals have thoughts, feelings, emotions and readily communicate, both among themselves and with us. Amelia discusses how she developed her gift and how you too might be able to develop the ability to communicate with your animal friends, whether they be winged, finned, scaled, or furred. Amelia also discusses how animals are being exploited in different areas of the world and how hunters are spending exorbitant amounts of money for trophy animals in Africa. She has various animal charity events where she’s raising awareness of these practices and also teaching people how to understand what animals are thinking and feeling. She explains that you can learn to use your body as an instrument. This is a meditative process involving silencing your mind, so there’s no negativity, no inner dialogue. This prepares you to be able to sit in silence with another animal. Be in awe of the animal’s grace. Be in gratitude. Then you can be in communication. She discusses how our animals can take on our problems and diseases. There is one enormous field, and we are all connected. When something gets out of balance, our cells are not communicating. This can reflect in our animals as well. The concept of harmony and communication between all living things can happen in this field of higher vibration. Amelia also discusses what animals worldwide think about humans. Amelia has been listed in The 100 Top Psychics in America. 16 Jul 2024 | Shelly Lefkoe: Eliminate Limiting Beliefs! – Part 2 | 00:32:40
Do you sometimes feel like your confidence is lacking? Do you have fears around public speaking? Are you afraid to share your work publicly? Many of these limiting beliefs reside in our subconscious. Lisa continues the conversation with our guest today, Shelly Lefkoe, who talks about how these beliefs can be eliminated so you can feel more empowered. Shelly and her husband, Morty Lefkoe, started the Lefkoe Institute based in the San Francisco area and have helped thousands of people worldwide eliminate limitations. Shelly explains how two people can be in the exact same situation but look at it in completely different ways, based on the meaning they give it. The most common belief Shelly’s clients have is the idea that they are not good enough. This belief causes them to overwork or even procrastinate. There’s a fear of being judged. Shelly discusses how you can get rid of your negative beliefs by acknowledging your patterns. She further explains how patterns happen over and over. If you get rid of a belief, you can get rid of a pattern. This works with relationships, money challenges, workaholism, and much more, as beliefs are formed in the past. The meaning you give an event is formed at the moment it occurs. The meaning is what causes the emotions. She talks about her book “Hitting the Wall: Eliminate the Beliefs That Sabotage Your Business and Your Life” which she co-authored with Vahan Yepremyan. Shelly has helped thousands of clients worldwide recreate their lives by ridding themselves of a wide variety of challenges including phobias, relationships that don’t seem to work, violence, procrastination, unwillingness to confront people, health and wellness issues, and sexual dysfunction. Her clients have eliminated emotional patterns such as fear, hostility, shyness, anxiety, depression, worry about what people think of them, and a negative sense of themselves. She helps people develop confidence and feel empowered. This is Part 2 of the interview. Info: EliminateBeliefs.com and LefkoeInstitute.com
05 Mar 2024 | Best Of The Aware Show With Jean Houston: Visualize Possibilities Part 1 | 00:30:51
The news is filled with stories of wars, pandemics, mass shootings, rights getting overturned, and so much continuous devastation, it could seem that we are living in End Times. Our guest today, scholar, philosopher, and researcher Jean Houston, Ph.D., delves into the idea of finding possibility, even during these times of great grief. We have been conditioned to respond to the terrible, but it does not have to be this way. As an icon in the Human Potential movement, Jean shares ideas about how the Renaissance, with its advancements in music, art, poetry, and cosmology, came after great plagues and times of war, much like the world situation today. Could we be in a new Renaissance period now? We are once again in a similar time of radical growth, and we have the power within us to see new possibilities and reach mythical potential in our human evolution. Jean shares stories of her travels and talks about her friendship with scholar Joseph Campbell and how they would have “beautiful fights” which were friendly arguments and deep discussions about mythology and the fate of humanity. Campbell wrote extensively about the “Hero’s Journey,” while Jean considered the “Heroine’s Journey.” Part of the problem is that 50% of the human race is not being recognized for women’s immense creativity and power. Women’s ways are missing. With an emphasis on compassion, cooperation, community, and process rather than product and competition, humane creativity must be celebrated by acknowledging the achievements of women. She also talks about her fateful meeting of evolutionary philosopher and Jesuit priest Pierre Teilhard de Chardin who became one of her mentors when she was much younger. At an early age, they would have profound discussions of time, history, and transformation, as she gained an alternate education of possibilities through their talks. Info: JeanHouston.com

She is a highly respected Astrological “thinker” and is recognized worldwide for her astrological writings into areas of business, technology, lifestyle, culture, and the economy.
Susan talks about how she launched AstrologyZone.com just as the digital world was beginning to gain popularity in 1995. She discusses the history of astrology going back to ancient Mesopotamia. 22 Feb 2024 | Best Of The Aware Show with Hale Dwoskin: Liberate Yourself From Emotional Pain | 00:36:18
Would you like to have more joy and happiness? Do you dream of having more money or vibrant, vital health? Would you like to experience a life of peace and ease? It is possible, according to our guest today, Hale Dwoskin. Hale is one of the teachers from the movie “The Secret” and is a founding member of the Transformational Leadership Council. Today he talks about the Sedona Method and reveals a powerful secret for manifesting what you want in your life, while showing you how to be at ease and comfortable with what you already have. We all have a natural ability to let go of our deepest blocks. We hold onto this because we are confused, and we believe we are our suffering. We may have regrets and live in denial. But this is not who we are. These are all false illusions. After many years of searching, Hale met his mentor, Lester Levenson, and began studying and then teaching emotional releasing techniques based on these ideas. He realized that Lester was no longer seeking. He showed him that it is possible to live in a state of peace. When we hold on to pain, we relive it over and over. We can keep the wisdom, but we can learn to let go of the pain. The mind actually acts as a “subconscious attractor” to these negative experiences if we don’t let go. We must be willing to let go of our anger. Hale teaches the Sedona Method on air and asks listeners to welcome positive feelings of relief instead. He explains that the power is always in the present moment. Hale Dwoskin is the author of “The Sedona Method” book and taught this method for decades. He is an international speaker and featured faculty member at Esalen and the Omega Institute. Info: Sedona.com.

07 Mar 2024 | Best Of The Aware Show with Jean Houston : Visualize Possibilities – Part 2 | 00:28:38
In Part 2 of this interview with scholar, philosopher, and researcher Jean Houston, Ph.D., she shares her first meeting with American cultural anthropologist Margaret Mead, one of her early and most impactful mentors. Margaret considered Jean her “adopted daughter” and encouraged her to keep searching, keep understanding, keep putting pieces together to make some sense of it all. Mead was one of the early founders of Earth Day and taught Jean to keep reaching for solutions. Thorough this experience, Jean learned to produce extensive writing about the “new story of humanity” – she wrote books every month about history, culture, and possibilities. Jean talks today about how we can progress through community and cooperation and use our creativity to the fullest, by recognizing the good in one another. We can activate our innate genes as beings seeking constant growth and evolve to become higher humans as we visualize the possibilities and create the world we want. This is entelechy – it pushes us toward what humanity could be. Through her mentors and studies, Jean learned to observe and hone her particular awareness in a unique way of seeing people and raising them to their greatness. She worked for the UN and with many cultures throughout the world as well as working with Presidents including President Bill Clinton and President Jimmy Carter. Today we are asked to consider, “What does a world that works look like?” New science, quantum physics, and relational science teach that there is unity and oneness. We can experience the evolution of the human race, activate the genes of the higher human, and witness the possible human. Jean paints an image of what our possible world could look like, by seeing the possibility in other people. Jean believes we are in a renaissance period now and although we’ve experienced the pandemic, wars, and scenes of outrage, we’ve also seen the linking of hearts, which is indeed the gestation period of a New Humanity. People want peace worldwide. We can do this by accessing the very depths of the human spirit which is available to all of us by seeing the very best in one another. This is the second of a two-part discussion. Info: JeanHouston.com.
25 Apr 2024 | Best of The Aware Show with Dr. Tom O’Bryan: Inflammatory Disease and Gut Health – Docuseries with 80 Experts – Part 2 | 00:36:22
Do you sometimes feel tired or even sick after eating? Did you know it could be because of inflammation? Lisa continues the conversation today with our guest Dr. Tom O’Bryan who is an expert in food sensitivities and the way they affect our lives.
Did you know that bodies can attack themselves when we are eating the wrong foods? Dr. Tom has extensively researched inflammatory disease and the root mechanism behind disease. The Center for Disease Control reports that 14 out of the top 15 causes of disease are caused by chronic inflammation. He talks about how excessive inflammation is extremely dangerous and how wheat and dairy can be so unhealthy, along with lectins, soy, and corn.
Dr. O’Bryan and his colleagues have debuted a new docuseries called “The Inflammation Equation: Decoding the Path to Optimal Well Being.” This series contains interviews and information from 80 experts and physicians worldwide. For info about Dr. Tom O’Bryan and to find out more about “The Inflammation Equation,” visit TheDr.com and https://rkt511.isrefer.com/go/
The most common source of inflammation is a result of the foods we eat. Lisa asks about the elimination diet and how soon we can begin to feel better. If your immune system is fighting a food, and you eliminate it, you will begin to feel better within 3 weeks.
Dr. Tom talks about how many people suffer from low-grade edema and discusses how your body holds onto water. He talks about gluten-free foods and how they are essentially just white paste. He talks about Celiac disease and how changing your diet must be done correctly. The Mediterranean diet has been touted to be one of the healthiest. It includes water, as well as fruit and vegetables. He suggests eating at least 50 different fruits and vegetables a week, including root vegetables.
Himalayan buckwheat has been shown to be extremely beneficial for health. Spices and good fats, such as extra virgin olive oil, are also important. Finally, small portions of fish and poultry of good quality are important as well. This feeds your microbiome in a healthy way.
He also discusses the difference between European wheat and American wheat. This is because of lectins in the wheat. You may not have gut symptoms if you eat wheat in Europe, but you are still activating the immune response. He further discusses his docuseries, “The Inflammation Equation: Decoding the Path to Optimal Well Being.” This series contains interviews and information from 80 experts and physicians worldwide. 04 Jan 2024 | Best of The Aware Show with Don Miguel Ruiz and Don Jose Ruiz: The Four Agreements – Personal Freedom - Part 2 | 00:29:26
Today’s show continues the conversation with the author of the mega-bestselling book, “The Four Agreements” don Miguel Ruiz, and his son, don Jose Ruiz. Together they talk deeply about truth, individuality, and belief systems. They ask us to enjoy life for the limited time we are here. Try to enjoy every moment, while also acknowledging that there is suffering and hardship. They talk about the power we have and how we can change “the story” through our awareness. They explain how the ancestors say we are living in a dream. It is up to us to decide, and to have courage and discipline to change the dream through our habits and by getting to the root of our truth. Don Miguel Ruiz was born into a family of healers and raised in rural Mexico by a curandera (healer) mother and nagual (shaman) grandfather. The family anticipated don Miguel would embrace their centuries old legacy of healing and teaching and as a nagual, carry forward the esoteric Toltec knowledge. Instead, distracted by modern life, Miguel chose to attend medical school and become a surgeon. A near death experience in 1970 changed his life and he began an intensive practice of self-inquiry. He continues to devote himself to the mastery of his ancient ancestral wisdom. His book “The Four Agreements” has been a mega-bestselling book for years. Don Jose, his son, grew up in a long lineage of Toltec Teachers. His father, the Nagual don Miguel Ruiz, and his grandmother, Sarita, passed on their Toltec Teachings to don Jose, who carries on the family tradition of teaching Toltec wisdom. In 2010, don Jose Ruiz released his first book titled “The Fifth Agreement” in partnership with his father, don Miguel Ruiz. Following this publication, don Jose began traveling around the US, Mexico, and South America. Don Jose inspires people in many different ways including through his book signings, lectures, seminars, and hosting intensive journeys to Teotihuacan and other sacred sites around the world. 10 Oct 2024 | Best of The Aware Show with William Whitecloud: The Magician’s Way - Living a Life of Greatness | 00:30:19
Are you ready to take control of your life and live from greatness? Do you believe that magic is possible? Our guest today is author, coach, and spiritual teacher, William Whitecloud. In 1996, inspired by the momentum of his own self-transformation, William founded a program called Living From Greatness, a personalized course dedicated to empowering participants in discovering and living their authentic nature and expressing their own creative spirit. Today he explains that negative dynamics such as lack of time and money, being affected by outside forces such as the economy, being stuck, and worrying about the future, are purely symptoms of functioning from Low-Level Creativity. The cause of Low-Level Creativity is the belief (conscious or unconscious) that we don’t have the power within us to conceive of and manifest our highest fulfillment. William will outline a simple process for taking your power back. William teaches his “Natural Success” program to thousands of clients worldwide and also contributes to social and environmental projects in Africa, for example, supporting vital snakebite anti-venom initiatives in his childhood home country, Eswatini, located in Southern Africa. His books include “The Last Shaman” and “The Magician’s Way: What it Really Takes to Find Your Treasure.” Info: www.williamwhitecloud.com
25 Jan 2024 | Best of The Aware Show with Marci Shimoff: Create Miracles in 2024! – Part 1 | 00:36:50
So many people set goals at the beginning of the year, but why do most people’s New Year’s Resolutions fail? Less than 10% of people actually reach their goals by the next year. Why is that? Would you like to learn the secret to living a miraculous and fulfilling life? What are you called to do in the New Year? Tune in when today’s powerful guest is #1 New York Times bestselling author, world-renowned transformational teacher, and an expert on happiness, success, and unconditional love, Marci Shimoff. Marci joins us again today to talk about how to make 2024 a truly miraculous year! As founder of “Your Year of Miracles” online program, Marci has worked with hundreds of thousands of people from nearly 200 countries around the world in an effort to help people live in a “miracle zone.” It all starts with making intentions and setting your dreams. Marci explains the difference between ego-based intentions vs soul intentions. There are outer-focused goals, which may be more about ego, and there are soul-based goals, aligned more with the truth of what’s calling you in life. The outcome is the same, but the way to go about stating it is different. Marci explains the process of how to clarify your dreams and goals and make soul-based intentions. Say “I am…” rather than “I want to….” For example, rather than saying, “I want to lose 20 pounds,” say something like, “I am fit and healthy.” Does it feel heavy and contracting? Or does it feel light and in the flow? Soul-based intentions feel more possible. Lisa has been co-hosting the “Your Year of Miracles” program with Marci and Dr. Sue Morter for 5 years. Other visionaries will join them in 2024 including best-selling authors and transformational leaders Lisa Nichols, Mike Dooley, and Lynne Twist. They will talk about how to find your purpose, make intentions, take action, and how you, too, can live a miraculous life! This is Part 1 of the interview. 29 Oct 2024 | Ravinder Taylor: Mind Training – Part 1 | 00:32:02
What happens when we really utilize the power of our mind to break through blocks to success in our lives? Or maybe you are facing a pivot and do not want to go backward into old patterns? Our guest today is researcher and best-selling author Ravinder Taylor. She has helped literally thousands of people change their state of mind and therefore empower their lives. Her latest book is “Mind Training: The Science of Self-Empowerment.” Ravinder talks about solid research which analyzed the importance of your state of mind, including a technique which improved cognitive abilities, reduced stress, and also made progress toward dementia. When she studied it further, she knew she could go deeper. What she wanted to do was take away the mystic around “self-help,” and show how in a scientific manner that positive change could be proven. She studied various self-help techniques so that the reader could find methods that work for themselves. She was looking specifically at a 12-minute meditation, which had spiritual undertones. She talks about the Sikh tradition in which she was raised, although she turned away from organized religion. She further studied brainwave entrainment and how it works with meditation. She suggests bringing your own faith into your meditation, if that feels right for you. She talks about what beliefs mean and how certain ideas get into our mind. The subconscious beliefs are so powerful, but first she says we must understand where the beliefs originated. She talks about the divided mind that Freud explored which includes the Ego, the Id, and the Superego. She furthers talks about the idea of the 4 Selves and what they mean. Who do we believe we can be? It’s not about perfection, it’s about our personal successes. We can actualize them. Her training is about being the best you can be. She further looks at psycho-social development, starting as an infant. Each period of our life lets us learn different things. She outlines the stages and shares ways to correct behaviors toward empowerment through various exercises. We can look back at our own childhoods and see where patterns started. Ravinder discusses her research into the Law of Attraction – Ask, Believe, and Receive. She talks about insecurities, self-destructive behaviors, and the importance of choosing, rather than asking. 24 Sep 2024 | Susan Grau: Using Your Intuition – Part 2 | 00:32:47
Would you like to be able to hear your intuition? Do you believe by enhancing your intuitive skills, you can contact those who have crossed over? Lisa continues the conversation today with Intuitive Medium Susan Grau who talks about her near-death experience, the passing of loved ones, and how grief is in charge, when we don’t address it. When you are feeling vulnerable, unresolved grief sneaks in. Susan explains how we can step into the grief and into the pain. We tend to want to run away from pain. We deny it. This offers us breaks in our grief. If we can lean in, we can move through it. We must move through the pain, whether through talking, therapy, or physical movement. Susan is an internationally celebrated celebrity intuitive medium, soul healer, author, grief counselor, and speaker. She specializes in grief and addiction therapy, guiding people to healing and recovery. In her new book, “Infinite Life, Infinite Lessons,” she talks about her near-death experience as a very young child and all that happened when she was on the Other Side. She learned we all have free will and can make choices. She discusses Fear vs Intuition and shares ways to tap into your intuitive self. Fear feels like panic. Intuition is smooth. It’s a feeling. It’s important to feel into your body and trust your intuition. If you have a bad feeling, she asks us to trust that feeling. Your body knows. It’s a smooth type of knowing. Fear is a reactionary feeling. Susan discusses the feeling of “knowing.” It’s solid. You don’t question. You don’t need a reason. It’s a solid understanding. Susan also talks about the importance of forgiveness. She talks about the level of love she found when she had her Near-Death Experience. She was abused as a child and needed to find self-forgiveness. It was more important that she forgave herself. She didn’t want to give power to her abusers. She asks us to take action if it feels something is wrong. When Susan has a problem, she goes into action to find a solution. We are reactionary beings. She suggests we pause, then take action. Her goal is to help people heal themselves through love and guidance. Her NDE at a very young age did not stop the difficulty she experienced throughout life. She developed her inner guidance, her inner knowing, and explains how she “feels” her truth. She feels it in her gut. She also listens to her Spiritual Guides. She utilizes her clear knowing to understand what is going on around her. She shares how she is clairvoyant, clairaudient, claircognizant, and clairsentient. She explains how good mediums can access the personality of those who have crossed over. In her work, she feels the personality and essence of the person come through. She explains how grief is an extremely low vibration. A medium can vibrate a little higher. The soul of the loved one vibrates at a very high vibration. This makes it harder to access them. She suggests remembering something joyful that will raise your vibration. This makes it easier to hear them. They communicate their essence and beauty; the essence of who they really are. Souls want to heal their loved ones. They are not in a state of suffering. They can communicate without the pain and fear. There’s no reason to have the pain and fear on the Other Side. If you are talking with them, as time goes on and you practice, communication becomes clearer. You can get validation. Listen to what they say. It’s not an ending, it’s a new relationship. It takes time. We must be kind to ourselves. She also talks about our pets who have crossed over and the Room of Companions that she saw in her NDE. Our furry friends are happily playing and ready to greet us on the Other Side. Our Soul is our healer. It’s our bind to the Divine. This is Part 2 of the interview. Info: SusanGrau.com.
22 Aug 2024 | Best of The Aware Show with Nancy Levin: Making Changes in Your Life | 00:28:23
Are you on the verge of making changes in your life but feel like something is holding you back? Are you ready for something new but aren’t quite sure where to start? Today’s guest is author Nancy Levin who discusses her new book “Jump and Your Life Will Appear.” Nancy will help you understand how to negotiate the fears, set the boundaries, and give you the information on how to gracefully land on your feet after taking your leap. Do you sometimes seek external approval? Nancy explains that it starts by looking within first. She realized that she wanted people to think she was living a perfect life. She believed that that was more important than living a happy life. She shares the intimate story of her younger brother passing away and how that affected her. She sought external validation and recognized she was a people-pleaser. She realized that we draw to us people who reflect us. We disown qualities of ourselves and project them on others. This is part of our shadow. Often the people closest to us activate us the most. We will keep being tested by being triggered. We can ask ourselves, “What are you unwilling to change?” She talks about 10 steps to making a major change. Our bodies know the truth. She invites us to ask ourselves, “What are you hiding?” It comes down to making choices. We can set boundaries. She explains how we can find our voice and become empowered. She invites us to take inventory before we make a change. We are where we are today because of all the choices we made previously. In the present moment, every choice matters. We can ask, “Will this move me forward?” or “Am I sabotaging myself?” You can make one different choice at a time. It’s a step-by-step process. We must be honest with ourselves and set boundaries. She suggests that we block time off in our day for ourselves. Whether we go on a hike or a run or simply spend it in quiet time, it helps to make that commitment to ourselves. Nancy explains that suffering comes from our unwillingness to accept things as they are. If we are present and can fully choose, we can make different choices. Nancy is the bestselling author of “Jump … And Your Life Will Appear” and “Writing For My Life.” She is a Certified Integrative Coach through The Ford Institute For Transformational Training. For more than a decade, she worked as the Event Director at Hay House, Inc. producing events and conferences focusing on self-empowerment, health, and spirituality, while weaving in her own story and poems to connect with audiences around the world. 09 Jul 2024 | Shelly Lefkoe: Eliminate Limiting Beliefs! – Part 1 | 00:32:25
Have you ever had the belief that you are not good enough? Have you ever thought that you are not talented enough, not smart enough, shouldn’t make mistakes, etc? Many of these beliefs reside in our subconscious. Would you like to eliminate those beliefs and learn to feel more confident and empowered? It’s possible, according to our guest today Shelly Lefkoe. She and her husband, Morty Lefkoe, started the Lefkoe Institute, a San Francisco area based firm whose mission is “to significantly improve the quality of life on the planet.” What does it mean to eliminate these limitations? Beliefs are statements about reality that we hold as truth. The purpose is to get rid of the patterns which drive our beliefs and our realities. Shelly explains that a pattern is observable. You can see when someone is feeling sad. You can see if someone is in an unhealthy relationship. The beliefs are actually causing the problem. Most people ask “why” to find the answers. Shelly explains that a better question is to ask “what.” For example, ask “What might I believe that has me doing this?” or “What can I do to change this?” We look at meanings and interpretations. Beliefs are the roots that keep the foundation of your life from being solid. Shelly explains that we actually think we “see” certain things. She uses as an example a person who passes you by and doesn’t say hello. This may cause you to believe that this person doesn’t like you. You may feel that you are not good enough. You believe this because you “saw” it happen. Anything that you can see always has a color, shape, and location. You can see specific people doing certain things and we give it meaning. This comes from our beliefs. When we learn to eliminate these beliefs, we can begin to be our true authentic selves. Self-worth is based on our beliefs. We can change and eliminate these beliefs. We can learn to change the meaning. If you want to do something immediate and powerful, look at the meaning in that moment. Shelly explains that all meaning comes from our minds. Events have no inherent meaning. Any time you have a negative emotion, you can feel it, then you can consider what meaning you gave the event. Meaning is made up by our creative minds. You can still have feelings and emotions, but you can re-frame the meaning you give them. This is Part 1 of the interview. Info: EliminateBeliefs.com and LefkoeInstitute.com

23 Jan 2024 | Bill McKenna and Liz Larson: Optimal Brain Health – Simple Exercises to Adapt to Change! – Part 2 | 00:35:38
Change is not always easy, but there are ways for our brains to adapt. Concussions can severely affect brain function, but did you know that if you have small accidents, like hitting your head while playing soccer as a child for example, parts of your brain can actually go dormant? Lisa continues the conversation today with guests Bill McKenna and Liz Larson, the founders of the Cognomovement Program, which offers hope and a possibility for getting your brain to be stronger than ever before. This program is accessible to everyone, whether you would like to correct a minor brain injury or achieve peak performance and higher executive function. You can “wake up” your brain’s nerve bundles again through a pioneering series of eye movements that integrates the cognitive process and cross-body movements to drive changes. Bill McKenna and Liz Larson are researchers who developed the “Cognomovement Method.” Bill is the founder and co-creator of Cognomovement, the author of “The Only Lesson,” and co-host of “New Life Perspectives.” Bill blends scientific insight and spiritual wisdom to revolutionize brain rewiring techniques. His diverse experiences as an ultra-marathon runner, helicopter pilot, and a survivor of a near-death skydiving accident, shape his resilience and innovative approach. In 2017, Bill co-developed Cognomovement, discovering that combining brain activation with body focus could lead to transformative change. This led to the creation of the Cogno Ball, a key tool in the methodology. Liz Larson is co-creator of Cognomovement and a Cognomovement Practitioner Trainer. She is the author of “Suffering is Optional” and “The Tiny Book of Big Manifesting.” She is a Master NLP Practitioner and the host of “New Life Perspectives” on UK Health Radio. Liz is renowned for her innovative techniques in transforming the nervous system and brain-body connection. Her work combines spiritual and scientific elements, revolutionizing approaches in personal development and wellness. Liz is dedicated to training practitioners and students with her latest discoveries, ensuring the Cognomovement modality remains a powerful, evolving tool for overcoming personal challenges. Liz started by studying the nervous system after her parents had Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s. She combined this study with her work in Neurolinguistic Programming, and research in brain changes and neuroplasticity. In today’s interview, Bill talks about how our eyes and our spinal cord are literally one system. We can affect our brain through our eyes as well as through movement of the spine. This affects the nerve bundles. We can know which area of the brain may not be functioning optimally. Through movements with the eyes, in combination with simple motions, you can improve your brain function. Liz Larson discusses her parents who never even saw a doctor. They were extremely healthy. They didn’t have any markers for Parkinson’s or Alzheimer’s, yet they both developed these diseases. Liz explains how Parkinson’s is a fear disease, while Alzheimer’s is a retreating disease. A big trauma, whether physical or emotional, drains your energy. So much energy goes toward this, and your body is not able to resolve it. It’s hard for your body to keep fighting all of the free radicals, including fighting stress, so your body cannot detoxify. Stress and division can cause disease. So how do you begin to resolve these issues? 15- to 20-minute eye movements can help the system to auto-correct. The nervous system calms, and the energy drain can stop. You get your energy back so your body can heal. Cognomovement allows for the patterns of stress thinking and trauma to stop. If done every day, then even a few times a month, you will see significant difference. They demonstrate an easy on-air exercise you can try at home. Pick up a colorful object. Then think about an opinion that is not helpful to you, or a little thing that’s bothering you. Liz then explains how to use easy eye movements to connect with sensations. After going through a series of exercises using both the left- and right-sides of the brain, Liz asks us to now consider the feelings we have about the opinion we were working with and how the story may change. After this simple series of exercises, new ideas and inspiring thoughts and feelings may flow! This is a great way to help make decisions. You may feel more energetic and clearer as well. Bill and Liz also discuss how the Cognomovement Method is also very good for curbing cravings and food addictions, since eye movements can help to reprogram the brain. The nervous system can auto-correct. Most cravings are not good for us, even though we may enjoy what we are having. We may be looking for a moment of relaxation or a brain break, while we are eating an unhealthy snack. Once we realize this, we can take a healthier break like walking around the yard or doing a yoga stretch, etc. You can also note how good you feel afterward. This is Part 2 of the interview. 11 Jun 2024 | Corey Lyon Folsom: Successful Communication in Relationships – Part 1 | 00:30:10
Do you sometimes not know how to communicate with a loved one? Do you argue with your partner or feel like they are not listening to you? Whether in family and friend relationships, or in romantic relationships, there is a way to respond with more compassion and care. Our guest today is Corey Lyon Folsom, a highly regarded love and relationship coach and the author of his new book, “Soul Statements: A Love Coach's Guide to Successful Communication.” As a certified NLP practitioner and relationship coach, Corey is passionate about helping people expand their empathy and communication skills. After a spiritual soul-awakening in 2009, Corey participated in Ipsalu, Source School of Tantra Yoga, Love Coach Academy, Tony Robbins, and other programs. He has also been a professional tracker, wilderness guide, and vision quest leader. Corey offers tips and ideas to have much smoother, clearer communication in all of our relationships. When someone is complaining or expressing having a hard time, he suggests really listening to what they have to say. Make the other person’s pain valid and try to not react immediately. This will help them feel heard. In order to do this, it’s important to listen to yourself first. Corey talks about “filling your own emotional well.” You can do this by spending quiet time alone, having a strong workout, or visiting nature. It’s important to take time to listen to your own heart. This will help us feel calm and find strength in our center. He also describes “Soul Statements,” what they mean, and how to develop your own. This will help with compassionate communication. Sometimes partners argue and money and finances can be especially challenging. He suggests people go back to their own values, as this gets below the outer circumstances. You can relate more easily when someone is not pointing the finger. Get to the emotions of what’s being felt. We can try to understand our impact on other people. Tell them how you feel, rather than placing blame on them. He talks about non-violent communication and the range of feelings. Corey also touches upon caregiver fatigue and how it’s very common. He asks us to ask, “How can I bring more compassion?” He also talks about the idea of giving and receiving. He suggests pausing before going into an event and spending a few minutes beforehand to ask what you can bring to the conversation. Then, afterward, you can do the same and ask yourself what worked and what didn’t in your communications. He talks about writing Soul Statements and making them personal. How can you move beyond tension? How can you meet someone new and not have the same challenges as you do with others? Corey also suggests going on a “complaint fast” and taking a week or longer and not expressing complaints out loud. If you feel them, be mindful. To be a better communicator, it’s important to be clear. Be authentic in your communications. Don’t share all of your concerns at once but be concise. Soul Statements are present time reminders. Traditional affirmations express a desired state. This calls in a future version of ourselves. A Soul Statement reminds you of what is true and good. When you have unhelpful thoughts like, “I’m not sure,” or “I don’t think I can,” you can do a Soul Statement like “My heart is a trusted guide,” or “There is strength in my center.” When you feel it, it’s so powerful. You feel the truth of it, and you remind yourself of your own strength. “Wisdom is at my center,” and “In my center, I am held in love,” are great ways to start using Soul Statements. They also talk about an owl feather that Lisa found on her recent bike ride and the profound wisdom of nature. They discuss the importance of silence, so that you can hear your soul. Bringing that to the relationship will further deepen communication. This is Part 1 of the interview. Info: CoreRelationship.com
23 Jul 2024 | Scarlett Lewis: How to Choose Love After Tragedy – Part 1 | 00:30:30
How is it possible to heal after experiencing unimaginable horror, such as the loss of a child? Today’s guest, Scarlett Lewis, experienced profound tragedy when her 6-year-old son, Jesse Lewis, was killed during the Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting massacre in December of 2012. The first few days were so incredibly painful, she didn’t know if she could survive. She did not know if she could ever heal from that level of a broken heart. She shares the story of meeting with another woman who lost her child during a different event, and how angry this parent was 20 years later. She made a choice that she needed to model a different way of being for her older son, J.T. Scarlett talks about how pain is an incredible catalyst for growth. She did not want Jesse’s murder to define her. She found an opportunity of connection through pain. As difficult as it was, she learned to choose love and healing. Two weeks after the tragedy, it was Christmas. Scarlett decided to take her son JT to Disney World for a healing trip. She talks about numerous miraculous messages she received which she believed were from Jesse. There she experienced miracles and micro-moments of joy. Scarlett suggests practicing being present with the ones you love and the importance of recognizing that time. She found a message that Jesse wrote on the chalkboard at home shortly before his murder. The words were “Nurturing, Healing, Love.” She determined that she would spend her life being part of this message and being part of the solution. She believes we are all responsible for what is going on in society. We must realize that we have to be the change that we want to see. Once you make that determination, you realize you are no longer the victim and can be motivated. There’s so much we can do. With every step, you gain self-worth and self-esteem, and it makes you want to do more. We are not born with essential life skills. We must learn them. There is so much bullying in today’s society by children and adults, especially on social media. We don’t have the skills to manage our anger and pain. She decided to create a healing movement and her program “Choose Love” is now in more than 14,000 schools worldwide. She talks about how pain has a purpose in our lives, yet somehow, we are so afraid of it, we ignore it or push it away. People are living in a state of perpetual PTSD. People can be so negative because of this. Scarlett talks about the concept of PTG or Post-Traumatic Growth. We can grow through difficulty and her organization teaches how to do this through a powerful formula. When a child experiences difficulty, they can learn through it. They can become curious and can learn to choose love over fear. Scarlett has also interviewed other school shooters. She is trying to understand their mindsets to find out what is needed. Even though their actions were monstrous, Scarlett recognizes that they are actually human beings in pain. She wanted to ask them the very tough question of “How did we, as a society, fail you?” as she knows they were not born as a murderer. They have so much pain, and so little social and emotional competence, that they had to take it out on others. She is trying to understand what we could do to prevent this, and part of it is a matter of belonging. Everyone wants to be seen. Through her “Choose Love” organization, Scarlett took the tragedy and turned it into an opportunity to build a culture of love, resilience, and forgiveness. She is the author of several books including, “Nurturing, Healing, Love” and “From Sandy Hook to the World: How the Choose Love Movement Transforms Lives.” This is Part 1 of the interview. 28 Mar 2024 | Best Of The Aware Show with Barbara Marx Hubbard: Humanity Ascending: Our Current Tipping Point and Beyond | 00:41:42
Are we at a turning point in our evolution? Through crisis, transformation can occur. Quantum transformation is nature’s tradition, according to our guest today, visionary futurist Barbara Marx Hubbard who discusses her video series called “Humanity Ascending: A New Way Through Together.” Barbara discusses the meaning of Divine Intent and possibilities. When we see things not working, such as destruction of ourselves and our planet, we must know that it is possible to transform. We are destroying thousands of species, and this sets the evolutionary scale back, but Planet Earth is giving birth to a new species through this crisis. Thousands of people are now emerging with a creative consciousness. It is now possible to address challenges by shifting consciousness through focusing on cooperation, creativity, and sustainability. We can evolve beyond this condition through more conscious connectivity with each other. We can co-create new systems. Society will be restructured. It’s deep within human nature to want to dominate, but Barbara believes that a New Human is emerging. There’s a new pattern of social organization that is more synergistic and cooperative. Each of us carries within an image of something we haven’t fully seen – very similar to the imaginal cells which aid the transformation of a caterpillar into a butterfly. Each person has a higher intelligence, and we can tune in to these higher frequencies. Barbara also talks about inspired politics and how the New Politics relate to the New Person. This can be a time of an uprising of the spirit of impulse and creativity. If you feel the desire to express more, affirm it as good, then reach out to others. Express your desire to create until you can find a team. She also talks about being 15 years old and seeing the atomic bomb. That started her on her quest for understanding and the study of world religions. The meaning of our power is to gain consciousness and expand evolution. We must connect conscious humans and their projects and determine what is working. Evolution is the expression of universal intelligence. Barbara has been called “the voice for conscious evolution of our time” by Dr. Deepak Chopra and is the subject of Neale Donald Walsch’s book “The Mother of Invention.” A world-renowned visionary futurist, evolutionary educator, and inspiring speaker, Barbara is the author of six acclaimed books that communicate the new worldview of conscious evolution. She is the co-founder and chair of the Foundation for Conscious Evolution, and additionally co-founded many progressive organizations, including The Association for Global New Thought, and The World Future Society. Barbara’s latest book at the time of this interview is “Birth 2012 and Beyond: Humanity’s Great Shift to the Age of Conscious Evolution.” Info: barbaramarxhubbard.com.
27 Aug 2024 | Keith Leon S. How to Talk to Your Guardian Angels - Part 2 | 00:40:00
Do you believe that angels surround you? Do you think you are guided or are you filled with self-doubt? Lisa continues the conversation today with best-selling author Keith Leon S. who absolutely knows his angels are always with him. He asked for assistance as a child and heard the voice of his Guardian Angel. They have been with him ever since and Keith believes we can all ask them for their guidance and wisdom. He talks about reincarnation and what he has learned. He also discusses the non-linear nature of reality and how we can direct things in this reality. The choices we make now dictate our future. We can make them in alignment with the outcome we want. Keith talks about a specific “knowing” and how he manifests. He discusses the power of belief and how it’s possible to cancel out our own prayers with our wavering. If we take in the mainstream media and listen to negative news, for example, we can be deeply affected. He reminds us that we can choose to only receive things in alignment with how we want to be. We can look at role models and the choices they make. He talks about his involvement with Agape Spiritual Center and his relationship with Reverend Michael Beckwith. He became a practitioner there, as well as a soloist in their music program, including performing on stage with Stevie Wonder and Ben Vereen. Keith shares a personal story in which Ben Vereen was singing and afterward talked about his admiration for him. Since that moment, he realized that he was no longer nervous to sing and perform for an audience. Keith also discusses Ernest Holmes and the teachings of the Church of Religious Science, as well as other great spiritual teachers. He explains how they are all saying the same thing, only using different words. He further shares messages from his Angels and their words for humanity’s future. He talks about how everything is for the “highest good,” even if it doesn’t seem that way. We must turn off the noise and rely on our inner knowing. He suggests going into a place of stillness and asking a single question. The quality of our questions determines our answers. Keep asking that question over and over, until you receive the answer. He also suggests writing positive affirmations and repeating mantras 100 times a day for 33 days to reprogram our subconscious minds. That way, we can become aligned and find an energetic match to what we desire. Keith is a multiple best-selling author, international speaker, and owner of a successful book publishing company. His books include, “Walking with My Angels,” “Who Do You Think You Are? Discover the Purpose of Your Life,” and “The Seven Steps to Successful Relationships,” co-authored with his wife, Maura. During today’s interview Darryl explains how he became a channel and what that really means. He and Lisa have a deep conversation in which Darryl talks about raising your frequency, the misconception of linear time, and how if everything is happening simultaneously, then Bashar could be a future version of Darryl himself. Darryl also discusses conspiracy theories and how to get clear within yourself and discern to make empowering choices, rather than a decision to fill an emptiness. He explains how we can only experience that which we are the frequency of and how we can vibrate toward solutions. This is perhaps a more advanced version of physics. When you apply these principles and techniques, you can experience dramatic and positive results. They further talk about detachment and how we really, truly do not know the best, highest outcome, but we must make positive decisions and strive for the freedom to make empowering choices. 13 Feb 2024 | Issac and Thorald Koren: Finding Your Voice with the Brothers Koren - Part 1 | 00:31:13
Do you sometimes feel blocked? What do you do when that happens? How do you move forward? Do you know that you have a beautiful power to voice what you want in the world? Our guests today are Issac and Thorald Koren, better known as the musical duo “The Brothers Koren.” They are transformational voice leaders, music mentors, and artists passionate about hearing “the World’s song, one voice at time.”
They have played to millions of listeners worldwide and have toured with P!NK, Coldplay, and Rod Stewart as The Kin. They now foster first-time talent, not only those who want to go into the music industry but all of those who want to tap into their hidden voices. When it came time to take a break from touring, they asked themselves, “Are we really serving the greater whole?” After contemplating the answers, and although they made their dream come alive by playing on major stages worldwide, they made the decision to move to Los Angeles and began working with people who wanted to find their inner voice.
If your soul is not satisfied and if you don’t know what to do next, ask the Universe to assist. They explained about the Power of Request. Get to know yourself by using song and voice. This method is not just for musicians, but anyone who wants to delve deeper.
Always being overly interested and curious, they were both natural coaches and mentors and decided to share their skills. They especially loved the audience singing along with their songs so when the opportunity came to coach a first-time singer, they happily did it. They developed a mentoring program whereby they coach people who think they cannot sing to express themselves. They realized what they were doing was transformational. They worked with people with voice trauma and people who were afraid to speak or sing in public.
So what are people looking for who want to learn more about their voice? They are looking for a sense of home in themselves. This is an ancient art. All of our ancestors had the ability to use their voice. It’s both a power and a vulnerability. Although we may compare ourselves, we must realize everyone has their own unique voice. No two voices are alike. It can be exciting, but also awkward. Maybe you, too, have lost your dreams of wanting to sing?
And it’s not just the sound of our voice. It’s how we listen and it’s at the core of mental health. We can be afraid or disconnected from the instrument of our voice. It’s so often about reconnection. In scary times of anxiety or depression, it can be healed through finding our voice. We have oftentimes been comparative or competitive when we think about how we sound. The Brothers Koren find that people just want to return to their bodies and simply exhale and have ease.
The negative self-talk and those negative voices are ingrained and it’s hard to find clarity and harmony. These internal voices can say we are not enough. They are protective, but traumatic. They become the loudest voices. Many women are not allowing their voices to be heard or are afraid to say something because it can be dangerous. It can be unsafe to express, so people dim their light.
The voice is a reflection. It is a full-body instrument. The voice is a harmonizer. They talk about people singing together, such as in a choir, and explain how to listen to the space between two notes. How do we be in harmony? We can work with dissonance and find a way to wrap around uncomfortable emotions. We know the way to do it, but we must be willing to look inward. Can we find “home” within our body first? Can we meet ourselves as we are today? We must be compassionate to ourselves. Be willing to feel the feelings and be ok with it all, no matter what comes up.
Issac and Thorald Koren teach courses and classes. When people realize their voices are shut down or they were never able to express themselves, the Brothers Koren help people to reclaim their power. They also work with singers who have left their music and want to return. They also work with people who know if they use this medium, they know they will open in other ways. It’s the ancient biological birthright of us all to use our voice. This is Part 1 of the interview. For more info about their upcoming online class, visit: https://shiftnetwork.
19 Mar 2024 | Dr. Tom O’Bryan: Inflammatory Disease and Gut Health – Part 2 | 00:36:22
Do you sometimes feel unwell after eating? Did you know it could be a food allergy or inflammation? Lisa continues the conversation today with our guest Dr. Tom O’Bryan who is an expert in food sensitivities and the way they affect our lives.
Did you know that your body can attack itself when you are eating the wrong foods?
He further discusses his upcoming docuseries, “The Inflammation Equation: Decoding the Path to Optimal Well Being.” This series contains interviews and information from 80 experts and physicians worldwide. Are you still focused on your 2024 resolutions? Did you know that less than 10% of people actually reach the goals they set during the New Year? Why do most resolutions fail? Would you like to learn how to reach your goals AND how to live a miraculous and fulfilling life? Lisa continues the conversation today with #1 New York Times bestselling author, world-renowned transformational teacher, and an expert on happiness, success, and unconditional love, Marci Shimoff. Susan talks about how she launched AstrologyZone.com just as the digital world was beginning to gain popularity in 1995. She discusses the history of astrology going back to ancient Mesopotamia. The shepherds tended their flocks and started noting shifting patterns in the stars, as well as the farmers watching the full moons. The Greeks loved astrology as well as the Romans, while the Egyptians were expert mathematicians and were also fascinated by the movement of the stars and planets. Susan explains the meaning of conjunctions when planets are perfectly aligned, and how when two planets get within 8 degrees, they start communicating. She reflects on the dark aspects of the movement of planets that was happening at the beginning of the pandemic. It was a very isolating time, which is an Aquarian trait, yet there were many changes that moved us into a digital age and masses of people working from home. Susan further discusses how Capricorn is moving into Aquarius and the looming effects of Pluto. She says we must look at the conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn as well. Planets have been in Earth signs the past 200 years and signaled the start of the Industrial Age. Now it will happen in the Air signs. This will lead us further into an Age of Technology with driverless cars, robots, the rise of AI, etc., and so many things that haven’t even been invented yet. Astrologically, it’s starting to happen. 20 Jun 2024 | Best Of The Aware Show with Dr. John Mack: How Alien Encounters Affect Societal Consciousness | 00:37:47
It seems there are more shows, podcasts, documentaries, and books than ever before about ETs, UFOs, UAPs, and alien contact. How has the phenomenon of aliens affected our consciousness? Why is it so prevalent today? Our esteemed guest today is John Edward Mack, M.D., a Pulitzer Prize-winning biographer and a professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. He won the Pulitzer Prize in 1977 for “A Prince of Our Disorder,” his biography of T. E. Lawrence. Dr. Mack is the founding director of the Program for Extraordinary Experience Research (PEER) and today he discusses how the phenomenon of alien experiences has affected the consciousness of our society. Dr. Mack embraced a worldview inspired by elements of spiritual and philosophical traditions which hold that we are all connected to one another. The theme of “connection” to other life was explored most boldly in his study of men and women who reported that recurrent alien encounter experiences had affected the way they regarded the world, including a heightened sense of spirituality and environmental concern. Dr. Mack recorded the experiences of people who were subjected to intelligence profoundly different from our own. He noted that these are healthy, normal people. They are credible and there are hundreds of thousands of people who have had these experiences. They have encountered other multiple dimensions. We are stuck in our restricted three-dimensional consciousness. Dr. Mack has shifted his consciousness and realized that Native People around the world are familiar with this phenomenon. They have had encounters with these beings. What is the difference between spirits and these extra-terrestrial beings? The spirit world is abstract. The “real world” is a physical world, but can spirit manifest as material? Dr. Mack has worked with diverse cultures around the world who have had these experiences. As a psychiatrist, he takes a thorough history of his patients, then evaluates them. Patients do not want to believe that this may have happened. They don’t understand the mystery of these experiences. This pattern of thinking shatters the view that we may be protected. But this is not the view of the indigenous people. It is a Western view to rule out any outer intelligence. This is shattering to the view of the experiencers. Western culture believes that we have control. This shows that we do not. It’s very threatening to our sense of security. If experiencers believe they have been subjected to aliens, they believe they are victims and their consciousness may be restricted. But if they can go into their fear, and experience it, staying with the intense energy, they will access another level of consciousness. It is possible for them to pass through the trauma and experience a profound connection to God/Source and other dimensions, even the beings themselves. There is tremendous energy involved in these encounters. Dr. Mack discusses various types of beings that his patients have described. They present a dire warning about the impacts humans are having on the environment. The fact that these beings do not appear to us in a way that is possible to prove from a 3-D level of science, does not disprove that we are being visited. Our culture is becoming more and more aware of this phenomenon and the possibilities presented that we may not be alone in this universe. Info: www.johnemackinstitute.org.
30 Jul 2024 | Scarlett Lewis: How to Choose Love After Tragedy – Part 2 | 00:35:59
Why is there so much violence and hatred in our communities today? What could cause someone to commit a heinous crime? Lisa continues the conversation today with Scarlett Lewis, the mother who experienced unimaginable tragedy when her 6-year-old son, Jesse Lewis, was killed during the Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting massacre in December of 2012. After the tragedy, Scarlett knew she had to find an understanding as she didn’t want the shooter to impact her living son. She knew she needed to move through the emotions. Scarlett began asking if it could be that society has failed those children who have had difficult experiences, thereby leading them to commit terrible acts of violence. Scarlett discusses emo-diversity and how the more emotions we have, the healthier we are. Emotions assist you to navigate and provide information to help you live your best life. We don’t want to limit them. You can then examine your thoughts around the emotion. Scarlett talks about starting the “Choose Love” Movement which is now in 14,000 schools around the world. She asks us to stop squashing and ignoring painful emotions. There’s a healthy way to adjust. It’s done through presence. Scarlett talks about the “moment of choice.” You react and you can thoughtfully respond. Our fear center is very fast, due to survival. Everything is filtered through the fear center first. You may have an immediate reaction. Your brain’s job is to defend you. Most people are living from their reactive center. It becomes easy to get triggered. But we can control this by pausing and thoughtfully responding with love or compassion. Life gives us plenty of situations to choose love. If your life is not in danger, pause and get curious about that person’s point of pain. If someone is not kind, they are coming from pain. You can think about how to respond. You can learn to love and accept yourself. Know that you are not the cause of that person’s pain. Even if they are lashing out at you, it is because they are in pain. This can lead to compassion and even possible forgiveness. The person is 100% responsible for their behavior, but you can de-escalate the conversation, and this allows you to be in control. You can move beyond to healthier relationships. Forgiveness is the way to healthy relationships and meaningful connections. This is a learned behavior. We need to find role models. This can begin to be taught in schools so we can move forward and can move through pain. Scarlett decided to focus on the root cause – pain. She was determined to heal her own pain and to teach others to do the same through her “Choose Life” movement. Scarlett talks about meeting Nick Ortner who taught her about using tapping for healing. She also shares the story of meeting Wayne Dyer and the profound affect he had on her life. Scarlett discusses how communication is the opposite of violence. Communication is connection and connection is love. Love is what we all have in common. We are all human beings, and everyone wants to feel connection and love. This is the basis of what Scarlett teaches. We all want safety and peace. We need to be more vocal and courageous to achieve this and not devolve into bullying, whether through words or actions. It all starts with our thoughts and our words. Scarlett realized she needed to be the model of recovery and post-traumatic growth for her son. In every single action, we can be kind, compassionate, and ultimately choose love. If we can change one angry thought into a loving thought, our entire lives can change. We can truly be the change we want to see. This is the basis of the “Choose Love” Movement. Through her “Choose Love” organization, Scarlett took the tragedy and turned it into an opportunity to build a culture of love, resilience, and forgiveness. She is the author of several books including, “Nurturing, Healing, Love” and the upcoming “From Sandy Hook to the World: How the Choose Love Movement Transforms Lives.” This is Part 2 of the interview. 27 Feb 2024 | Elizabeth Comen, MD: Truth and Lies of Women’s Health | 00:35:12
Did you know that much of what we know about women’s bodies comes from the viewpoint of men? Our pain, strength, intellect, and much more have been based on an overwhelmingly male narrative. The result is a culture and society that continues to shape our healthcare. Today’s guest, Dr. Elizabeth Comen, is a breast oncologist, physician/scientist, and medical historian. She discusses her new book “All in Her Head: The Truth and Lies Early Medicine Taught Us About Women's Bodies and Why It Matters Today.” She talks about how women throughout the ages, and even now, have been invalidated for their pain, and felt shamed and blamed. We’ve inherited this legacy and a culture of women apologizing for being sick, apologizing for taking up space, and apologizing for taking up time. Dr. Comen has dedicated her medical career to saving the lives of women. An award-winning, internationally sought-after clinician and physician-scientist, Dr. Comen works as a medical oncologist with a specialty in breast cancer at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and is an assistant professor of medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. She earned her BA in the history of science from Harvard College and her MD from Harvard Medical School, then completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital. As a Memorial Sloan Kettering oncologist, she sees thousands of patients and talks about the vital importance of seeing each woman as an individual. So many of these women express how they feel misunderstood and how their breasts matter. She talks about our difficult medical system and how it’s influenced so much from a cultural, religious, and historical perspective. Throughout history, there’s never been a narrative that women’s bodies are as strong and as powerful as a male body. Landmark studies have always been for men, then modified for women. There’s no racial or ethnic diversity either as the studies typically focus on middle-aged white men. Her book talks about the stories of our deeply flawed system and offers suggestions for moving forward. Dr. Comen also discusses hormones, fluctuations, hormone replacement therapy, and how to balance. There is a long story of misunderstanding hormones. Testosterone was touted as being amazing and important for men, while estrogen causes women to have crazy mood swings. She further discusses symptoms of menopause, premature aging, and the distorted idea that women should “always look perfect.” She talks about the importance of lifting weights and stimulating strong bone density as we need strong bones, especially as we age. It improves our overall health. The gym can be intimidating, especially when women see many men lifting weights. Dr. Comen talks about hysterectomies and the history of “hysteria” as it comes from the Greek word for womb. People thought women were prone to being hysterical and mentally unbalanced because of their “wandering wombs.” She also talks about the long, horrible history of removing organs from women who were “not behaving” because maybe they were political or outspoken or overly sexual. She also talks about the Tuskegee experiments and Black men not being treated for syphilis. During this time, women too, could be forcibly arrested and treated with experimental means – if women looked promiscuous; if they were riding a bus alone; if they were outspoken. This occurred to thousands of women at the turn of the century. Many women were considered “dirty” and the innocent, clean men were being infected. Women felt shamed and blamed from contracting a disease from a man who was dishonest about their health. Dr. Comen discusses the generational traumas of women and how it directly and indirectly affects women today. She talks about how bicycles were the symbols of the Suffragists movement because they represented freedom. Male doctors threatened that if women rode bikes, they would develop bulky muscles and not be able to reproduce. She talks about men operating on women and the duality of plastic surgery. Plastic surgery was originally used on battle wounds when weapons caused so much destruction. Today there’s a duality as it can be either empowering or punishing. She further discusses the history of early advertising and marketing campaigns and talks about how the tobacco companies encouraged women to smoke. Advertisers called cigarettes “torches of freedom.” She also discusses the effects of stress, including “good” stress and anxiety which can help us move forward in our lives. She invites us to think about the stories we’ve been told and to realize it doesn’t have to be as shameful as it has been historically. We can truly be empowered and change the narrative about women’s health. It must be a movement aligned with all genders and the realization that we are all in this together. 06 Aug 2024 | Marie Diamond: Feng Shui Your Life – Part 1 | 00:30:54
Do you want to create more in your life? Would you like to have better relationships, more vibrant health, increased wealth and abundance? According to our guest today, master teacher and author Marie Diamond, this is all possible through the ancient art of Feng Shui. This is a Chinese artform of arranging things in your house and office to enhance favorable aspects of your life. Marie is an energy master and Law of Attraction expert who has developed her method known as Diamond Feng Shui. Her new book is called “Feng Shui Your Life: A Beginner’s Guide to Using Your Home to Attract the Life of Your Dreams.” Marie talks about how she is originally from Belgium and at the age of 15, she had an accident and near-death experience. She studied meditation and had an early mentor who explained that these things could have happened to her because she had bad Feng Shui in her bedroom. Her mentor advised her to change a few things and her life dramatically changed quickly for the better. Her relationship with her father greatly improved and she made wonderful new friends. Although she went on to get a law degree, she decided to study Feng Shui seriously. Feng Shui is based on directions and elements. The method focuses on energy and its flow around you and your space. The greater the flow, the more advantageous your prospects in business, love, health, family, success, wisdom, and more. Each person also has a personal number which can help you find your elements and directions. These can help in four areas including Success, Health, Relationships, and Wisdom. This is essentially connecting you to the quantum field. Marie teaches a personal system which includes the 5 elements and explains how you may also have an “empty” direction. You want to activate these directions. You can do this by placing photos and objects such crystals, candles, mirrors, etc. in certain directions based on your personal number. This is similar to the principles of acupuncture in the way that energy flows. Marie has been working with clients for more than 30 years. She was also in the movie “The Secret” and is an expert in manifestation. If you utilize the Law of Attraction, or practice intentions and affirmations, you can still hit a ceiling. Feng Shui can help. For example, if you change just a few things, you can increase your abundance. She talks about not just making a vision board but placing it in your Success direction. Vision boards are great to create once a year. You can look at the directions, colors, and symbols foundational in Feng Shui. You can base it on your birthday, as well as the Chinese New Year. Setting intentions and goals are the first steps. Your home can help you to continue your manifestation process. Marie also discusses her new television show on Peacock where she assists participants with Feng Shui in their homes. They share their problems and Marie helps them to find the better direction by moving things in their living spaces and offices. It may take several years, but eventually it can happen. She also talks about her new free app, found in app stores online. This can help you determine your personal number and the most beneficial directions for you. Info: MarieDiamond.com

12 Nov 2024 | Regan Archibald: Achieve Optimal Health through Peptides – Part 1 | 00:37:22
Do you sometimes experience foggy thinking? Have you ever had a concussion or been hit on the head? Last year, Lisa had a major bike accident that caused a concussion and brain inflammation. Do you know that this inflammation can also affect your mood, your thinking, your vision, your gut health, and more? What if there was a test that could determine how much inflammation you have in your body based on markers? Our guest today, researcher Regan Archibald, Lac, FMP, talks about specific blood tests which do just that. Regan is one of the leading Peptide, Functional Medicine, and Longevity Specialists in the US. His award-winning center, EastWest Health, has performed thousands of comprehensive blood tests which include nearly 100 important markers that allow Regan and his team to understand the root cause of health issues. Regan is an international speaker and is the author of nine books including “The Peptide Blueprint” and “Ageless Future.” Even if you have never experienced head trauma, you may have had a health crisis at some point. The crisis can sometimes cause chronic illness. Regan became obsessed with studying peptides in the body after more than six concussions. He grew up on a ranch in Idaho where he rode dirt bikes, skateboards, mountain bikes, snowboards, and participated in other dangerous activities. After numerous concussions, his entire personality changed. He was no longer interested in school and studying, he found himself with a different group of friends, he was even dressing differently. He always had ADD, but found it was getting much worse. About a year later, he attended a conference where he heard a lecture about stem cells. Emergency Room doctors talked about using medication, but another doctor talked about a method of healing the brain by using a specific nasal spray. Regan became the first researcher and first person outside of a clinical trial to use this method for internasal stem cells. After his treatment, he slept very deeply and woke up able to quiet his mind for the first time. It was such a profound experience, he started researching ways to progress this method. Through studying stem cells, he learned about peptides that could help with regeneration, boosting the immune system, building muscles, and so much more. Scientists have identified about 7,000 different peptides in the body, but they become somewhat dormant as we age. We lose the ability to receive the signal. The receptors change and genes get turned off, but it’s now possible to turn them back on! If you’ve been exposed to harmful chemicals, had an accident, been under stress, or even had an infection, peptides can be very beneficial to healing. Toxins stay in the fat of our bodies and brains and peptides can help with releasing harmful elements. Regan has developed specialized blood tests that can determine which peptides can be the most beneficial. Most people have chronic inflammation. This usually shows up in the gut first. The Vagus Nerve gets disrupted, and disease migrates into the digestive system. When inflammation cannot get flushed out of the brain, certain signals begin to disfunction. Sleep is the best detoxification for our brains. It’s very important to recover from concussions for optimal brain health. The brain immediately tries to cope and therefore adapts. It turns off and on certain cells. There is so much research on aging and how the brain begins to shrink, but this does not have to be the case. Regan’s team can run specific lab tests and spend time explaining the details and results with you individually. If you are interested in learning more, or participating in a blood test as well as meeting with a consultant, pls visit https://agelessfuture.com/ You will be asked to fill out a form, then you can meet with a specialist. Regan is offering the tests to Aware Show listeners at a discounted rate. Info: https://agelessfuture.com/
18 Jul 2024 | Best of The Aware Show with Ian Brennan: Antidotes to Anger | 00:29:28
Does it seem like we are seeing more and more anger and rage lately? Do you or someone you know have issues with anger or managing emotions? Whether through road rage, yelling, political divide, or even outward violence, people seem more upset than ever. What’s underneath it all? According to today’s guest, Ian Brennan, anger masks fear, frustration, and sadness. As an author and expert in conflict resolution, today he discusses ways to help cool anger. He has been involved with the Betty Ford Center as well as other addiction treatment places and also talks about how drug use and alcohol can compound the rage. Ian describes how some people are willing to injure themselves and others, or even willing to die, because of their unresolved anger. They may feel threatened. They may also be in denial. Many angry people deny that they are mad at all. Anger can cover up any type of fear. One way to begin to resolve the situation is to ask people how they feel. The more specific they can be, the better. An angry person tends to be more controlling, or even a perfectionist, as they want assurances. Those expectations can lead to tremendous disappointments. They may light up quickly. Surrender is a way to help – it's an acceptance of where things are. Frequent and brief conversations about emotions can help also to avoid outbreaks of rage. You can start by asking “What” questions, rather than “Why.” Begin by asking the angry person, “What happened?” then lead into “What do you feel?” When you intervene, these questions interrupt patterns. This can lead to constructive conversation and communication. It may help them to feel empowered and less controlled so they can offer information. You can also ask questions starting with “How,” such as “How can I help?” By using needs-based communication people can begin to feel heard. This can then lead to more solution-oriented conversations and help to diffuse the anger. Ian has taught classes on anger management for several decades and has brought his patented high-energy, lightning-speed delivery presentations to more than 100,000 people across the USA. During his many years on staff in locked emergency-psychiatric facilities in Oakland, CA (the job rated as the most dangerous in CA for assault), his teachings spread by word-of-mouth until he was soon regarded as an expert on the topics of anger management, conflict resolution, solution-oriented communication, and violence prevention. In 2011 he published his first book, “Anger Antidotes: How Not to Lose Your S#&!.” Info: https://violenceprevention.us

03 Sep 2024 | Best Of The Aware Show With Louise Hay: You Can Heal Your Life with Affirmations – Part 1 | 00:34:28
Do you believe that your mind plays a role in healing? Are you familiar with the power of positive affirmations? Today’s guest fully believes in the power of the mind and what an incredible honor it is to have on the show mega-bestselling author of “You Can Heal Your Life” Louise Hay. She is also the founder of the world’s largest self-help publishing company, Hay House. Today she’s talking with Lisa about the movie “You Can Heal Your Life” which contains hours of footage and plenty of positive affirmations that you, too, can use to heal your life. Louise discusses her journey with cancer and how she took a positive approach to turn toward optimal health. She made the decision that she would heal her life and life brought her people who were all able to help including nutritionists, teachers, and others. After six months, the medical community declared her cancer-free. Her diet and affirmations were so important, but most importantly Louise says she learned to forgive. After a very challenging childhood filled with abuse, she knew she was carrying resentment and knew she needed to release it. She looked into the childhoods of her parents and realized they both came from very difficult places and passed along what they learned. This was the key to forgiving them both. She talks about affirmations which heal including, “All is well”; “Only good will come of this”; “Everything is working out for my highest good”; and “I am safe.” This is Part 1 of the conversation, and we air this in her honor. Louise Hay made her transition on Aug 31, 2017, at the age of 90. Info: HayHouse.com and LouiseHay.com
14 May 2024 | Kimberly Meredith: Healing in the 5th Dimension – Part 2 | 00:29:03
Are you or someone you know experiencing a difficult time? Perhaps you have lost your job due to layoffs and feel like you are just scraping by? Do you long for a better way? Lisa continues the conversation today with author, medium, and spiritual healer Kimberly Meredith who will explain what it means, in practical terms, to traverse different dimensions and how it is possible to break free from the bounds of the third dimension. As a result of the pandemic, here we are four years later feeling the results of the world shutting down. These are the repercussions of that very unprecedented time. People just wanted to get back to normal. Kimberly believes it will take the power of the people and communities to help each other. It’s time now to begin to help each other. She discusses seeing numerical signs and codes and explains that the sign of “7” is Christ Consciousness – to be loving and kind, to be light. The sign of the “4” is the Angelic realm and coming from the heart. The sign of the “5” is about money. It’s not the most important anymore. Kimberly talks about how things are changing in our world. Using her psychic abilities, she can see what it will take for our world to move forward. There must be kindness and spirituality, she says. It cannot be a money-driven world anymore. It is possible to experience genuine abundance in the world. We need to be kind and loving at this time. Politics are so divisive. Then in the year 2031, there may be an unveiling of truth. We don’t need to have people forcing ideas on us. We can be of service and help others – this is the way of healing for ourselves and the world. She also talks about 2033 and how financial abundance will no longer be an issue. It will be about serving others and helping each other. This needs to be a worldwide effort. Why is the Middle Class struggling? Why are rents increasing at such a high pace? Things are out of control. We need to review these actions. Her Guides are telling her that things will be more stable in 2025. Kimberly also talks about her offerings, including the Mother Mary prayer and healing circle. She also teaches and shares rosary classes. This happens throughout May. May is the month of Mary. It doesn’t matter if you are religious or not. These classes are open, and everyone is welcome. She also has a guest who offers these services in Spanish. She talks about activations and healings that happen on these calls and through her work. She sends healing through her hands and even though this is remote on Zoom, it is still very powerful. A specific healing frequency arises through her. It’s the next level of healing. It’s all non-denominational and the Mother Mary prayer and rosary sessions online are free. She also explains how everyone is born with a specific number which corresponds to your Guides. She tunes in with her Guides and talks about the numbers and what they mean. Kimberly has done more than 700 readings about the number frequencies. Her next book is about these numbers, frequencies, signs, and symbols. Kimberly teaches how to access the creative fifth dimensional space which makes it easier to navigate through the next several years. This is Part 2 of the interview. 16 Jan 2024 | Bill McKenna and Liz Larson: Optimal Brain Health – Simple Exercises to Adapt to Change! – Part 1 | 00:30:13
Change is constant. So how do our brains adapt to those changes? Did you know that if you have small accidents, like hitting your head while playing soccer as a child for example, parts of your brain can actually go dormant? Concussions can severely affect brain function, but there is hope and a possibility for getting your brain to be stronger than ever before. Today’s guests, Bill McKenna and Liz Larson, are the founders of the Cognomovement Program. This program is accessible to everyone, whether you would like to correct a minor brain injury or achieve peak performance and higher executive function. Whether through childhood sports and games such as a ball hitting your head, or accidentally banging your noggin on an open cabinet door, etc, the brain adapts to these small injuries. You can “wake up” your brain’s nerve bundles again through a pioneering series of eye movements that integrates the cognitive process and cross-body movements to drive changes. Bill McKenna is the founder and co-creator of Cognomovement, the author of “The Only Lesson,” and co-host of “New Life Perspectives.” Bill blends scientific insight and spiritual wisdom to revolutionize brain rewiring techniques. After meeting with medical doctors and acupuncturists, Bill and Liz began to understand how body disfunction can be released as nerve and facial muscles relax. Ideas, inspiration, and moods can all be influenced as you progress with the movements throughout the day. The fascia is in better harmony and your brain essentially “switches on.” This is especially helpful for those who have had concussions. It helps with order and function, as well as preventing anger spikes. The brain is overwhelmed, and these exercises can help tremendously. Bill shares his story of events where he accidently wrecked his yacht and almost went “down with the ship.” This led to an awakening – he realized that after this incident, he knew he needed to be of service to others. He was very logic-based but wanted to learn more about intuitive and psychic skills. He began to study and read books about these topics. He also realized he resented so many things and realized the importance of forgiveness. This was counter to anything he’d ever experienced and upon continuing his study, his crown chakra opened, and information started pouring into his consciousness. He was fully cognitive through these blissful experiences. This transformation took years, and then he met Liz Larson. They decided to start working together. Liz had her own life path that led her to the Cognomovement work, as well as learning about business. As soon as they met, they started working together and started to develop their process. Their research is constantly expanding. They also discuss how cravings can be subsided through this work. Any addiction or pattern can be broken. Anything that feels like an unconscious driver or toxic obsession can be changed. Health goals, as well as life goals, can all be set on track. Focus can be enhanced as eye movements and patterns will begin to bring about changes. They further discuss how this system can help people with ADD as well as how grief and trauma affects the brain just like an injury. This can be very similar to how early-onset Alzheimer’s starts. If you don’t resolve the grief and trauma, your brain will adapt and change and your focus may become very diffused. This method may offer hope and healing. This is Part 1 of the interview. 18 Apr 2024 | Best Of The Aware Show with Dr. Anodea Judith: Awakening the Global Heart | 00:27:41
How many cycles of global warming have occurred over the lifetime of this planet? And where are we going from here? These are the kinds of questions asked in Dr. Anodea Judith’s book “Waking the Global Heart: Humanity’s Rite of Passage From Love of Power to the Power of Love.” This work is considered groundbreaking in the field of Transpersonal Psychology and used as definitive texts in the U.S. and abroad. Today she discusses the history of the melting of the ice caps, the cycles of nature, and how humanity with carbon emissions, population growth, and so much more is affecting the planet. She states that we must evolve into a network which works together to begin to solve some of the global challenges. She talks about how more than 20% of the human population does not have access to clean drinking water. This is an environmental catastrophe. The United States could lead, but it would take a rite of passage. During this time, we are forced to look at terrorism and climate change. There are deaths, but we could look toward rebirth and more sustainable ways of living. As humans, we must graduate to another level. Civilizations are always rising and falling. This is a global world change. Every new moment has people who believe these ideas and concepts will not work. New ideas always get attacked and it may take decades for acceptance. We have an opportunity to move into an age of ethics, rather than an age of power. She reminds us that the cutting-edge of culture never comes from the mainstream – it always comes from the fringe. Anodea has been called “a prophet for our time.” A groundbreaking thought leader and best-selling author, she worked as a therapist in private practice for more than 20 years. Today she is the director of Sacred Centers, a teaching organization she founded that offers workshops worldwide. Judith holds a doctoral degree in Psychology and Human Health, is a yoga teacher, and is considered the foremost Western writer on the subject of the chakra system. She also is a faculty member of the Shift Network. Info: AnodeaJudith.com
20 Aug 2024 | Keith Leon S. How to Talk to Your Guardian Angels - Part 1 | 00:38:08
Have you forgotten that you are guided? Do you believe that angels surround you and can help? Or are you in a state of self-doubt? Our guest today is best-selling author Keith Leon S. who knows his angels are always with him. Keith didn’t always believe he was being guided though. He had a tough upbringing and when he asked for assistance as a child, he heard the voice of his Guardian Angel. When he first heard the voice as a child, and knew it was a voice outside of himself. It was not “all in his head,” so he knew it wasn’t an imaginary friend. He then met an angel in the flesh when he was in a troubled spot in his twenties. Keith believes we all have earthbound angels. He’s had experiences where he’s met with his various angels and spirit guides during an out-of-body episode. Keith talks about how we can all access our personal Guardian Angels. He says we can look for signs, as well as meditating and asking questions. He suggests that we ask just one single question, then sit in silence. Ask the same question over and over, and you will hear the answer. It may be through the guidance of a song lyric or a symbol you see. You cannot ask “Why” questions, he explained. He suggested asking “How can I?” and “Who do I need to be?” instead. You can also ask “What” questions, such as “What is my next step?” He used this technique and shared a personal story about meeting with best-selling author John Gray and how John then wrote the foreword to one of his books about relationships. It also involves taking action. He talks about the difference between intuition and following guidance. It doesn’t matter how you receive the answer; it matters if you follow it. Stay in one question until you receive the answer. Keith discusses how we all come from Source and how we are directly connected. We can ask questions and hear answers at any point. It is up to us to take the necessary steps forward. Yet, have we all been assigned a Guardian Angel? What are the signs? They are always with us and are here to get us to our “pre-determined expiration date,” according to Keith. Maybe you’ve taken a different road, only to find out there was a terrible accident on the route you normally take. This could be an example of your angels protecting you. Keith further describes a relationship he had with a personal Guardian Angel who intervened at various points in his life. He explained that before you come to this Earth, you know how long you will be here. Anything can happen, so your Guardian Angel can help intervene. If you look at your path, you can make different choices, and enter a new destiny. Keith chose a new path after his Guardian Angel warned him that if he continued drinking excessively and doing drugs, he would have less than 2 weeks to live. Everything that his angel told him previously had come true, so he decided to dramatically shift gears and improve his life, as well as the lives of countless others. He also talks about his most recent book and film, “The Inside Effects: How the Body Heals Itself,” which is available to watch for Free. This is Part 1 of the interview.
01 Aug 2024 | Best of The Aware Show with Deborah King: Entangled In Darkness: How to Find the Light of Your Soul | 00:30:57
Do you feel you may have past traumas that are not resolved? Do you sometimes feel emotions that surface out of the blue? Today’s guest is master energy healer and shaman Deborah King who was a successful attorney in her 20s when a diagnosis of cancer sent her on a search for truth that radically changed her life. Unwilling to undergo invasive surgery, she turned to alternative medicine and had an amazing remission at the hands of a healer. Leaving the corporate arena for the mysterious world of healers, sages, and shamans, Deborah mastered ancient and modern healing systems, ultimately developing a powerful healing technique of her own. She talks about recognizing and addressing the shadows which can lurk inside all of us. Could these inner issues be the source of disease? Deborah decided to try alternative therapies before immediately going into surgery. She was getting in touch with herself as she wasn’t processing emotions. She was meditating and journalling almost constantly. She worked with many different modalities including acupuncture and therapy to assist in her healing. She then decided to go to Nepal and climb Mount Everest. Prior to her illness, she was a serious downhill skier and racer. She went looking for a spiritual experience. Deborah came upon a monastery and spent a few weeks working with the abbot there. She learned to be “in the now” and live in the present moment. She decided to leave behind her law career to study healing modalities. Through this process, she became skilled at seeing into the soul, and the shadow, to determine what’s holding you back. It’s usually an unconscious pattern. Deborah teaches her students to be very present. She suggests jotting down your thoughts and feelings. We usually split off from our shadow at a young age. We pretend it’s not there. The key is to recognize and acknowledge. Awareness is the key to it all. You can work on it one step at a time. Meditation is extremely helpful. She also talks about preventing psychic attacks. Be very careful with what you are taking in, whether violent images or news on television. The darkness can bring us down. It’s unnecessary. She asks us to consider how we are spending our time. Her latest book, “Entangled In Darkness: Seeking the Light,” explores the purpose of the age-old battle between light and dark that is being waged within you. We can all be an uplifting part of the world by bringing in the light. Every person is a light bearer. Our job is to stay inspired and shine our light! Info: DeborahKingCenter.com

Today’s guest Intuitive Medium Susan Grau has a new book, “Infinite Life, Infinite Lessons.” She had a near-death experience as a very young child. She then saw a golden path. She followed it and went into a room that held the Akashic Records. She describes very vivid memories of the place and the tablets. It was as if she was watching a movie. Spending time in the spirit realm felt safe. But sometimes during this experience, she would be a bit afraid and still want to be with her Mom, as she was so young at the time. She knew she would always be connected to her. During her NDE, she didn’t want to go back, but the spirits promised she could go back to her Mom. 03 Dec 2024 | Henry Shukman: Finding “The Way” Through Meditation Part 1 | 00:27:29
Would you like to feel calmer and more aware? Have you heard all about the benefits of meditation, yet you have a challenging time trying to quiet your racing mind? Our guest today is Zen meditation teacher, author, and poet Henry Shukman. Several years ago, Henry had a severe head injury and discovered he wasn’t able to utilize 100% of his cognitive abilities. It was then that he got in touch with his heart and realized that that is where his guidance lives. Henry has decades of experience as a full-time meditation teacher. Today he talks about the new app he developed called “The Way” that teaches people how to take a long-term approach to meditation. It is a step-by-step process. Many meditation apps offer endless choices, but this is a systematic approach to meditation with single lessons each day. Henry talks about being in a state of love, while also handling the day-to-day. He explains that it is about living in the world yet taking a few minutes each day to acknowledge a way to “be with” what your emotions may be. Meditation allows us a little window to “be” and not “do.” Henry also shares his traumas as a child. He felt abandoned, which led to a skin condition which got deep into his psyche. He felt a constant sense of stress and anxiety. When his parents were home and not traveling, they argued in the house. Henry revealed that his parents were both academics and spies for the British government. They spoke Russian fluently and got recruited into this risky business. There was so much secrecy at home and when his parents divorced, it affected him deeply. This was a time when there was denial, and no one was talking openly about feelings and emotions. When he was in his 20s, he started to seek answers. Henry was deeply intuitive and sensitive. He had a couple of friends who meditated, including a dear grandmother figure, in her 80s, who meditated. These friends seemed happy. He learned Transcendental Meditation to start. He realized by practicing meditation that he was not happy and wanted to feel better. The calming that the mediation offered let him see he was suffering. He sought therapy to examine this suffering. He further studied Buddhism, which delves into the nature of suffering. Henry has practiced Zen meditation, as well as mindfulness-based stress-reduction, and various meditation processes. Henry is the Spiritual Director emeritus of Mountain Cloud Zen Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico. His new book is “Original Love: The Four Inns on the Path of Awakening.” His app, “The Way,” offers more than 30 free meditations which will teach a step-by-step process based on Henry’s years of practice. 11 Jan 2024 | Best of The Aware Show with Ian Punnett: How to Pray When You're Pissed at God – Part 1 | 00:31:18
hen things go wrong, what do you do with the feelings you might harbor? Do you sometimes think that God is to blame? Listen in to today’s interview as radio host, best-selling author, and Episcopalian Deacon Ian Punnett shares with Lisa a spiritual path for expressing your rawest emotions through prayer, as described in his book, “How to Pray When You’re Pissed at God.” During this interview, Ian talks about prayer and religion, as well as meditation and visualization. He explains ways to express anger and how, in certain circumstances, it is fine to do so. We have a poor understanding of the role of anger; we don’t teach it, and we don’t know how to be constructively and responsibly angry. If we feel like we are being hurt, we can pray about it. The model is in the Bible. Ian explains how there are Psalms and Hymns about anger, and he discusses the work he has done as a chaplain in the hospital with people who are very angry about their situations. Ian Punnett is one of the hosts of Coast to Coast AM, a legendary radio show syndicated on more than 600 stations across North America. He is a deacon in the Episcopal Church who received his Masters of Divinity degree from Columbia Theological Seminary in Atlanta. He has worked in radio since he was 14 years old, at the high school radio station, then as a nighttime DJ at a Chicago station during college. He then continued to have great success as a radio host in Atlanta, Nashville, and Minneapolis/St Paul, in addition to working in television. After experiencing tinnitus, he was forced to step down from radio and during many sleepless nights, he wrote the book, “How to Pray When You’re Pissed at God.” This is Part 1 of the interview. 13 Aug 2024 | Marie Diamond: Feng Shui Your Life – Part 2 | 00:33:30
Would you like to have more success in business, better relationships, vibrant health, and much more? Lisa continues the conversation today with master teacher and author Marie Diamond, who says all this and more is possible through the ancient art of Feng Shui. Marie explains that this a Chinese artform of arranging things in your house and office to enhance favorable aspects of your life. Feng Shui was originally devised as a method to use for increased health and longevity. If you are not feeling well, you can sit facing your Health direction energy center. Point your head toward that direction. This can help to increase Chi. You can use healing symbols such as fresh fruits or vegetables. A favorite healing crystal can also be used. Symbols are essentially used to connect with the quantum field. Marie explains that mirrors in the bedroom connect with the mirror neurons in our brains. We are essentially “doubling” the energy. For example, if you are single and want a relationship, it’s not a good idea to have mirrors in the bedroom. If you have them and cannot remove them, Marie suggests covering them over. She also talks about spikey plants and how they can create upset or anger. Smooth, round plants may help you to feel more peaceful. She discusses setting up altars and how they may be placed in the Wisdom direction. Any representation of Goddesses or the Universe will be helpful. In your Romance center, you can focus on the love of your partner. Candles and double-hearts can work well. If you want to improve relationships with children or others in your home, you can place symbols in the living area. She discusses how to stage an office for the most success. For example, if you are the leader, you need to be the farthest away from the door. In the Success corner, you’ll want to place things like symbols of money. If you were to place an actual dollar bill, that just means you will get a small tip. You can write a check to the Universe. Put it in a gold frame. The more gold you have in your Success area, the more you will attract recognition and good luck. She also talks about your Personal number which is calculated into a whole system she developed. Marie talks about her free app and how to determine your personal directions. Marie also discusses Vastu Shastra from India and the differences between that style and Feng Shui. She explains that you can use both methods together. What’s an easy way to start? Marie suggests decluttering your space. Determine what you want to get rid of and donate it if possible. Begin with your Success corner and become aware of what is there in that area. Think about how the outside is a reflection of the inside. Your mood will shift, and you can begin to move forward more easily. Things will become more effortless. She also talks about how she got into the movie “The Secret” and how she developed her vision board. She placed images of an Oscar in her Success corner. Just a few years later, she met the director of the film who asked her to be in it. That was her very first interview ever. After that, she began adding more Oscars in her Success area and has since developed a roster of clients which includes celebrities and film directors, many of whom have won Oscars themselves. Ten days after buying multiple Oscar statues, she found herself doing Feng Shui for Steven Spielberg. Marie advises us to create a vision board divided like a compass. She suggests always placing a photo of yourself in the middle. She invites us to not only include photos and images, but to include words and phrases as well. This connects both the left and right hemispheres of your brain. Marie is an energy master and Law of Attraction expert who has developed her method known as Diamond Feng Shui. Her new book is called “Feng Shui Your Life: A Beginner’s Guide to Using Your Home to Attract the Life of Your Dreams.” This is Part 2 of the interview. Info: MarieDiamond.com

25 Jun 2024 | Ken Honda: What is True Wealth? Part 1 | 00:29:46
Do you sometimes feel stress when it comes to money and finances? Do you often feel lack and you’d like to learn how to earn more? Our guest today Ken Honda is the author of the international bestseller, “Happy Money: The Japanese Art of Making Peace With Your Money” in which he shared thoughts about how we can create a life of abundance by changing our relationship with money. Today he is back to discuss his new novel “True Wealth — 9 Lessons from a Grandfather on Happiness and Abundance.” Ken shares that he has had incredible mentors, so he wanted to put their stories together in one book where he talks about the importance of synchronicity, action, intuition, and more. He was inspired by the best-selling book, “The Celestine Prophecy.” When you look at synchronicities, they can be direct messages or intentional messages from God. His book “True Wealth” talks about the “Cost of Fear.” If you are afraid of the future, or fearful of success, you may not have an amazing life. Many people choose security, rather than facing their fears and going for their dreams. People tend to wait for “someday.” Why postpone fun and enjoyment? We can actually do these things now. Ken’s father was a successful accountant, so Ken was able to be around those clients from a very early age. He would ask money questions and is very comfortable talking about money and finance. He also learned how money could cause so many problems. Money can lift you or bring you down. Money can be happy or unhappy. Happy money gives you joy when you spend it. You can be generous. The more money Ken receives, the more money he can give. Happy Money can come from all over the world. It can circulate. You send money out, knowing that it will come back. Ken suggests having a chat with money. Ask, “Where did you come from? And where do you want to go?” Ken has developed a relationship with money. When he was younger, he had a difficult time raising his fee as a consultant. A very successful client raised his fee for him. Ken recognizes that he was protected by kind people and felt like he never struggled for money. He had an excellent reputation and feels very fortunate. He is financially independent and feels he can be very generous and help others. He believes in cultivating what you love, and it will not feel like work. You can be creative. There are only two problems with money. You either do not make enough, or else you spend too much. Financially challenged people have both problems. They get paid low and spend too much. Wealthy people do not spend frivolously. If you want to be successful with money and financially free, you need to learn about yourself and your habits. You need to develop higher self-worth and higher self-esteem to get paid more. According to Ken, the economy doesn’t really matter. It’s important to work out your inner issues with money. He also discusses how if you have higher self-worth, you will begin to attract opportunities where people will pay you more, as you are valuing your time. If you “demand more,” people will not necessarily pay you more. Higher self-esteem comes from being of service for a long time, and as a result, you will receive a higher rate of pay. Clients will appreciate you. Ken believes if you give of yourself first, and strive to do quality work, the universe will respond in a positive way. It is about giving and receiving. By studying your birth date, and determining your Life Path number, you can improve your relationships with your partner, your colleagues, and even your boss. Lisa continues the conversation today with world-renowned numerologist and author Glynis McCants. Glynis has been studying Numerology for the past several decades and explains how her unique method is based on the Pythagoras Number System, which is more than 2,500 years old. She explains step-by-step how to find your specific numbers and what they mean. She talks about how to find your Personal numbers, based on your birthdate. She talks all about Taylor Swift and her numbers. She shares about the immensely successful year Taylor had last year in 2023 and especially how she relates to the Number 13, which she considers lucky, as she was born on the 13th. Last year was the Year of 7, and because Taylor has so many 7s in her numerology, it led to her having an incredible year. Glynis further discusses 2024 including the importance of checking details, especially in May. She also talks about August and how something will happen politically then. February is a positive month, especially for love, whether in relationships or in business. If you want to make a difference, lead from the heart, as this will be a very effective way to lead in February. She talks about abundance and offers a prosperity affirmation suggestion of “I welcome financial prosperity into my life and the freedom to do whatever I want.” She talks about stress around money and how it IS possible to change your thoughts around it. Number 8 looks at money. This year, 2024, breaks down to an 8. That number is determined by adding 2 + 0 + 2 + 4. This is an especially powerful year to focus on finances. Glynis further discusses how you can look at numbers based on future dates or go back to past events and analyze those numbers. She talks about “caution days” which means you are out of alignment and should carefully watch what you do or even postpone important events. She also talks about the importance of numbers where you live or where you stay. Certain hotel rooms are not ideal for some numbers; same with flight numbers. Birth numbers are our sacred numbers. They are lucky for us. Glynis and Lisa also discuss the Master Numbers such as 11 and 22 and their frequencies, as well as the meaning of seeing “11:11.” They also talk about perception and how to make positive changes, no matter what is going on around you. If you grew up with a diet where you were exposed to herbicides and pesticides, you probably have an unhealthy gut. Unhealthy genetically modified foods have affected us all. People who live in industrial countries have infections due to toxic exposure. It attacks our immune systems. Detoxing can also help. It’s all based on testing. Mint, parsley, and cilantro are natural ways to help the detoxification process. Exercise is the best way to heal and detox. Movement helps tremendously to release toxins. You can get phenomenal health results by detoxing, and then adding peptides. Regan talks about the dedicated process of taking six months to improve your health. There are no quick fixes. Most people want to change, but it does take courage and commitment. How good would you like to feel? 10 Sep 2024 | Best Of The Aware Show with Guy Finley: Sept 11th Anniversary | 00:29:42
Sept 11, 2024, marks the 23rd anniversary of one of America’s darkest days. To shed light and understanding about the collective grief and trauma so many faced, we are joined by spiritual teacher and best-selling author Guy Finley. Guy is the Founder of Life of Learning Foundation and the best-selling author of “Letting Go,” “The Secret of Letting Go,” and more than 25 other books. His books have sold millions of copies in multiple languages worldwide. Today he talks about how to look at tragedy and specifically addresses 9/11 and the pain that ensued. He shares how 9/11 changed us and also taught us resilience. He asks us to ask ourselves have we learned the lesson in that pain, both as a nation and as a collection of individuals? And if we have not, then did that event unite us in a new understanding? Or did it divide us further? Whether a national tragedy or a personal situation, how can we learn the lesson of pain? When we come upon a tragedy, it may also divide us further. Guy deeply examines the nature of “blame” and how it is so difficult for us not to blame. Typically, the first reaction to tragedy is to point the finger. After 9/11, our freedoms were affected literally overnight. Who is to blame? If tragedy doesn’t change us, it becomes vague. What did this situation reveal to us about ourselves? What freedoms have we taken for granted? Prior to 9/11, security was much different at the airports. How can we use these unwanted moments? Do we go into panic? Guy says there is no psychological fear without negative imagination. So commonly, the pain makes us place blame. When we can recognize it, we can realize it serves no purpose to blame. We can liberate ourselves from a mind with a negative imagination. We can liberate our minds from the past. We can realize that each moment is new. There is a way to train ourselves to process the negativity. This is a different level of consciousness. The solution to the suffering is to realize that the pain has no idea what to do. We cannot buy into the negativity and continue to place blame. We must change as individuals before we can see change in our world. Guy asks us to consider, “What is your relationship with the Divine?” In the moment when there’s a problem or pain, when we resist it, we are resisting our reaction to it. It seems to threaten us. When we resist, we feel attacked. It’s a misunderstanding of the event. So, how do you illuminate the event to come to a new conclusion? Silence can help. If anxiety is guiding you, then fear and negativity are the rulers at that moment. Anger, fear, and worry all lead us toward negativity. What we give our attention to is what we are in relationship with. This guides our experience. If we are afraid, there’s something that believes the fear is real. According to Guy, “The fear is real but the ‘Why’ is a ‘Lie.’” Our lower brain creates a response of tension. Guy offers prayers to allow the Divine to let us know the truth. He also teaches free classes online twice a week. Info: GuyFinley.org and

05 Nov 2024 | Ravinder Taylor: Mind Training – Part 2 | 00:35:40
Would you like to better understand your patterns and feel more empowered? Lisa continues the conversation today with researcher and best-selling author Ravinder Taylor. She has helped literally thousands of people change their state of mind and therefore empower their lives. Her latest book is “Mind Training: The Science of Self-Empowerment.” Ravinder talks about the importance of choice. If bad things happen, it is not your fault. She asks us to ask, “What do you gain when you have a problem?” What is the difference between being informed and being prepared? How can you be aware of a problem or upcoming situation, yet not attract it? Ravinder has studied optimism and pessimism. Some people believe that doom-scrolling is about helping them feel more prepared. People have the “hope” that if they have information, they can be prepared so the worst-case won’t happen. If someone looks for the negative, they will not have an enjoyable time and will feel stressed. Ravinder talks about statistics which show how much healthier people can be if they are more optimistic. What you expect, you observe. Your body will either fight or grow. Cortisol makes us feel stressed and can affect our hearts. She discusses actual techniques to increase optimism. We can be aware that some things will not work out, but if we are optimistic, we can grow and have a happier quality of life. Her “Mind Training” book talks all about the benefits of optimism and positive thinking. We can learn when things go wrong, and that means you have grown as a person. If your self-talk is positive, you cannot be depressed. Ravinder also talks about compassion and forgiveness. She talks about the prison system and studies about blame. We may need to separate ourselves from toxic people and toxic situations, but we can still offer forgiveness. She talks about the idea of “Forgiving the Unforgivable,” and Free Will. We have choices and we can teach by example. This is Part 2 of the interview. Info: RavinderTaylor.com
02 Jan 2024 | Marci Shimoff: Create Miracles in 2024!
23 Apr 2024 | Brandy Gillmore: Healing Through the Mind / Body Connection – Part 1 | 00:27:31
Did you know it is possible to radically transform your life and live without pain? Would you like to better understand the connection between your mind and your body? Today’s guest Brandy Gillmore suffered from a debilitating accident which left her in constant pain and wheelchair-bound, without hope of recovery. During this interview, she will share her groundbreaking discoveries and the story of how she began searching for a cure by studying the mind/body connection. After years of living in excruciating pain, Brandy decided to deeply begin researching the power of emotions. This led to a radical healing experience and the ability to help others remove pain in their body. Her brand-new book is “Master Your Mind and Energy to Heal Your Body.” In the book, Brandy writes about her long healing journey where she tried everything to get better including traditional Western medicine, as well as complementary and alternative means. She also shares key factors that she learned after her injury. Growing up, Brandy was a competitive athlete. She had a car accident, then a bad fall, leaving her in a wheelchair. She was living in extreme pain. This life-changing accident happened in her early 20s. She finished high school early, attended college, and started working in the top telecommunications industry. Her career was so successful she bought a house at age 19. Then everything came to a sudden halt. Eventually the doctors told her there was nothing more they could do. She had a neurological disorder as a result of the accident. She went to a leading research hospital where they wanted to observe her case. Just as they were starting the formal study, the doctors told her that they did not expect her to get better, so she could no longer be part of the research. During this time, she was in bed, in so much pain, she made a decision that she no longer wanted to live. A thought came into her mind saying, “What about the placebo”? She thought this could be about belief, so she researched metaphysics and began chanting, as well as using positive affirmations. Finally, she realized none of this was working. She came across the Open Label Placebo – this is where it works, even though it’s only a placebo. She started meditation and hypnosis. Her pain came down as she was meditating and accessing different mental states, including Theta waves. She used her engineering mind to get to the next level, and researched how people with different personalities had different ailments that could be medically verified. She examined how this could work. She realized she couldn’t just think positive. She needed to see how the mind affects the physical body. She looked deeply at emotions such as fear, depression, anger, resentment, betrayal, abandonment, and had a few key insights about how exactly the emotions affect the body. Her skeptical, research mind asked questions about PTSD and stress. She realized it was a combination of emotions. She determined that if you can figure out which emotions are affecting the physical body, you can change the emotions. These patterns can be unconscious. You can choose a different way to not identify with disease. After she healed herself, Brandy knew people would think it was impossible, so she wanted medical proof. She started helping people release pain and showed it through medical equipment. Due to these breakthrough results, her case studies have been published in a prestigious medical journal. She has also delivered a TEDx talk and has been featured in several documentaries. Not only did she want to show people that it worked, she wants everyone to know that we all have this ability. This is Part 1 of the interview. Info: BrandyGillmore.com
02 Jul 2024 | Ken Honda: What is True Wealth? – Part 2 | 00:34:46
Would you like to learn how to tap into your intuition when it comes to matters of finance? Would you like to be less stressed around money issues? Do you sometimes have a challenging time making decisions? Lisa continues the conversation today with our guest Ken Honda. Ken is the author of the international bestseller, “Happy Money: The Japanese Art of Making Peace With Your Money” in which he shared thoughts about how we can create a life of abundance by changing our relationship with money. Today he is back to discuss his new novel “True Wealth — 9 Lessons From a Grandfather on Happiness and Abundance.” Ken shares techniques for tapping into our intuition and asks, how do you feel when someone offers you a project? Is your heart open and you feel excited? Or is your heart closing down? This is a key indicator. Intuition comes in so many ways by tuning into your five senses. Once you set a goal, look for synchronicities to start happening. When you hear your intuition and guidance, you need to follow it. Ken believes that you must first make a firm decision. You must make a choice and refuse other options. It takes determination, then suddenly this energy opens new doors and new pathways. If you take risks, you can move forward. Ken talks about how what you are afraid of holds the most energy. He shares a story about wanting to become a comedian and how much courage this will take. It’s scary, but very exciting. If you make a bold decision, the energy will move you toward your dreams. Ken also talks about how various cultures around the world have different views of money. He discusses how Americans do not like to talk openly about money, but they will talk about purpose. It’s such an important subject. Ken recommends learning about the Japanese concept of “Ikigai.” This involves taking small steps toward finding your life purpose. One door opens to another and eventually you find your life's calling. He also talks about making quick decisions. Do your best and know you’ll be guided. Tune into your intuition. If your intuition is cloudy, then your decision-making will be unclear as well. It starts with getting in touch with what you want. Ken suggests getting crystal clear about what we really want in life. It can be scary because it involves change. Ken further discusses two types of true wealth – visible and invisible assets. Invisible assets can be built on a strong foundation of emotions. When you know what you want you can plan. We can look for what we want, based on our perspective. By tuning into our five senses, we can acquire true wealth. There’s no right or wrong. It’s based on what you want. You can do things out of negativity or out of love. Ken teaches by using the Zen style of asking questions. What do you love to do? True wealth is having freedom. Ken also talks about the “arigato” money technique that he learned from his mentor – it’s a cycle of appreciation. He suggests thanking the money that comes in and thanking the money as it goes out. If you practice every day, gratitude and appreciation will grow, while finances will flow. This is Part 2 of the interview. 04 Jul 2024 | Best of The Aware Show with Dr. Walter Semkiw: Science and Reincarnation – Revolutionary Research to Create a More Enlightened and Peaceful World | 00:42:19
Do you think it’s possible that you could have lived at another time? Do you believe in reincarnation? Would you believe that many of today’s luminaries including Marianne Williamson and Oprah Winfrey may be reincarnated figures from the days of the American Revolution? According to today’s guest, Walter Semkiw, M.D., this actually may be possible. Dr. Semkiw began research into reincarnation in 1995 and he is the author of “Return of the Revolutionaries: The Case for Reincarnation and Soul Groups Reunited.” In this book, a cohort reincarnated from the time of the American Revolution is identified and he believes he may have been John Adams. The challenge in the research is to prove reincarnation using scientific methods, such as DNA analysis, which may show that certain portions of DNA sequencing are unique to an incarnating soul. Reincarnation cases demonstrate that facial features remain consistent from one lifetime to another. This observation suggests that the soul provides an energy template that the body forms around. Just as an orthopedic doctor utilizes a bone stimulator to shape bone, it appears that the soul projects an energy template that shapes the body and in particular, facial features. This template may also program certain portions of our DNA, according to Dr. Semkiw. He is also the author of “Born Again.” In this book, independently researched cases with evidence of reincarnation are compiled with a focus on the work of Ian Stevenson, MD, of the University of Virginia. Cases derived through world famous trance medium Kevin Ryerson, who has been featured in Shirley MacLaine’s books, are also presented. Info: ReincarnationResearch.com.

15 Oct 2024 | Joseph Selbie: Miraculous Healings Based on Physics – Part 1 | 00:28:40
Why do some people have seemingly miraculous healings while others do not? Why do some people who are diagnosed with a terminal disease decline rapidly while others with the same disease live longer than expected? According to our guest today, teacher and author Joseph Selbie, we all have innate soul powers for healing, and it IS possible to take charge of our own health. He believes that no disease is incurable. Today Joseph discusses his new book, “The Physics of Miraculous Healing -- How Emotion, Mind, and Spirit Enable Unlimited Self-Healing.” The modern medical system tends to believe that miraculous healing is nearly impossible. While they consider certain diseases to be terminal, there is still a tiny fraction of people who do not die. Medicine cannot explain why. Physics can better explain this phenomenon. Classical physics is a matter-centered view of reality. That was the predominant method of physics upon which modern medicine is based. This began to change nearly 100 years ago, starting with Einstein and his ideas and particularly his theory of special relativity which states that there is no such thing as matter. Matter is energy in another form or pattern. The universe is made of energy. Quantum Physics then further explains how all of matter is purely energy. It has 2 behaviors – it can be stable, or it can behave like formless waves. According to Joesph, some or all of the atoms or molecules in our bodies can take on the formless waves of energy for healing. The body is like a holograph. We live in a holographic universe. This comes from M-Theory – the leading physics of today. This states we essentially exist in 2 worlds. One of matter, and one of pure energy. We project the universe into being. We can impact this energetic world. We can do this through prayer and intention. This is why prayer can work. It involves signals being sent through this seamless energy realm. We cannot exist without it. Our thoughts, beliefs, and emotions have an immediate effect on our subtle energy. This is similar to a broadcast signal. We are constantly, and unintentionally, affecting our bodies and also the lives of people around us. Once we realize this, we can learn to be much more deliberate about the signals we send out. For example, if you listen to the news, to the anger, the violence, that’s an unintentional signal that we are sending all the time. This shapes us. You can actually track the response of negative news. The primary way that we send signals is through our emotions and connection to spirit. We are constantly sending out signals. It affects us and everyone around us. This involves our emotions and our deeply held beliefs. But we can change them, if we so choose. We can do things to make our emotions more positive, make our beliefs less limited, and we can connect more deeply to our spirit or God within. Once we connect to this, we see we are part of Infinite Intelligence. We can use this power for healing. We see that when large groups of people intend together, it can have dramatic effects. Joseph also shares stories of people who have experienced miraculous healings. He talks about a man who was hospitalized with lymphoma. This man was an innate optimist. He read an article about a new chemotherapy treatment that was available at the hospital were he was. After talking to his doctor, he was able to receive this new treatment. He began to feel so much better, to the point he could leave the hospital and fly home unaided. Joseph continued the story by saying about a month later, this same man read another article that stated the experimental chemo actually did not work. He got sick again and went back to the hospital. The doctor told him that there was another experimental drug, which he tried, then he felt better and went home. He then read another article about this treatment which stated that it also didn’t work. The man fell ill again, then passed away within two days. Joesph talks about this cautionary tale and our beliefs. He reminds us that we need to believe in ourselves and our own innate ability to heal. People who have been told they have a certain amount of time to live tend to typically die around that time. The medical community does so much to heal, but beliefs can sometimes be stronger. This is Part 1 of the interview. Info: josephselbie.com
22 Oct 2024 | Joseph Selbie: Miraculous Healings Based on Physics – Part 2 | 00:34:35
Is it possible that science can help explain miracles? Can the laws of quantum physics prove how miraculous healings are possible? Lisa continues the conversation today with researcher, teacher, and author Joseph Selbie who breaks down these concepts and shares documented stories of miraculous healings. We all have innate soul powers for healing, and it IS possible to take charge of our own health. Joseph believes that no disease is incurable. Today Joseph discusses his new book, “The Physics of Miraculous Healing -- How Emotion, Mind, and Spirit Enable Unlimited Self-Healing.” Joseph shares a story about a woman who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. She had gone up and down with her health and was declining to the point that her parents were ready to move her into Hospice. Yet, even in that position of being so ill, she was clear of mind and strong of heart. She would spend hours and hours each day praying for others. She felt that she was in the flow of the Divine. She reports hearing a voice that said, “Get up and walk.” So she did. She removed her oxygen mask, got out of bed, and began to walk. She saw her doctor the next day who declared that she had absolutely no MS. Her subtle energy body had changed. Instants later, her physical body had changed. This woman had a powerful connection with the Divine. She had no idea that she would be cured. She just wanted to be a contributing member of society, so she spent her time praying for others. Emotions, mind, and spirit all play a part in healing. This is something that needs to be built. Joseph talks about how you may have created your illness, so therefore you may be able to heal it. If you harbor a belief and you believe something will happen to you, it very well may. If you feel a lack of forgiveness or feel betrayed in some way, this may contribute to diseases manifesting. Emotions of sadness and regret, even running in the background, can cause the subtle energy body to become distorted. This hologram makes it difficult to manifest a healthy body. The template is distorted. If these distortions are running a lot, people may get illnesses that may be difficult to cure. Your body begins to disfunction. It causes a negative distortion in your cells. How can self-healing happen? In the full potential of yourself, you could heal. If you knew with utter certainty, and believed in unlimited powers of healing, miracles can happen. Getting strength of mind can help. Joseph talks about meditation and how it can put you in touch with your spirit. You can feel it. You begin to leave unwanted beliefs. You can learn to feel and then move your subtle energy. You can do this through breathing exercises and intention. Happier people tend not to get sick. Cells are supported by a strong, healthy flow of energy. Joseph talks about living in an intentional community and his decades of meditation practice. He discusses the importance of believing in yourself. He talks about being a soul first. We must have a consistent practice to be able to self-heal. We can also believe in the power of medicine to heal. Science is so important, then you can go deeper into physics, and therefore healing can happen. It is a combination of science and spirituality. Joseph is a researcher of physics and combines this with his decades of meditation practice. The universal spiritual teachings are all based on prayer and intention. Visualization can also help to accelerate the healing. We are all in a sea of Infinite Intelligence. Those powers are always available to us and working with us whether we focus them or not. If you meditate even a little, if you choose more positive thoughts, it will help with your concentration and creativity, as well as your healing abilities. The more you take control of your health, the greater the benefits. Even if you do not heal, you may experience a more elevated sense of being. Medicine may be necessary, and spirituality can help. You are awakening to who you are. Our bodies have an innate sense of healing. It is natural to regenerate, and we can tap into these healing abilities. Our thoughts can definitely help us along the way! This is Part 2 of the interview. Info: josephselbie.com.
28 Dec 2023 | Best Of The Aware Show with Don Miguel Ruiz and Don Jose Ruiz: The Four Agreements – Personal Freedom - Part 1 | 00:31:00
Are you familiar with the concept of “The Four Agreements”? Do you strive for personal freedom? Today’s special guests, Toltec masters don Miguel Ruiz and his son, don Jose Ruiz, talk about the power of The Four Agreements and the importance of awareness. The Four Agreements are a powerful code of conduct for attaining personal freedom, and awareness is the first step toward freedom because we cannot be free if we don’t know what we really are. Together they deeply discuss these concepts and how death begins at the moment of conception – your physical body can die at any moment. We must enjoy the preciousness of this life. 30 Apr 2024 | Brandy Gillmore: Healing Through the Mind / Body Connection – Part 2 | 00:37:42
Would you like to better understand the connection between your mind and your body? Did you know it is possible to live without pain? Lisa continues the conversation today with guest Brandy Gillmore who suffered from a debilitating accident which left her in constant pain and wheelchair-bound, without hope of recovery. During this interview, she will share her groundbreaking discoveries and the story of how she began searching for a cure by studying the mind/body connection. Her brand-new book is “Master Your Mind and Energy to Heal Your Body.” In the book, Brandy writes about her long healing journey where she tried everything to get better including traditional Western medicine, as well as complementary and alternative means. She also shares key factors that she learned after her injury. She became very interested in the visual proof of power of the mind using brain imagery and explained how she used medical thermography which will show the areas of heat where the pain and inflammation lie. Brandy shows people how to use their mind to get out of pain. She has shown medically how this is possible. It’s not just mind over matter. There is actual medical proof. She first talks with someone, identifies emotions, then helps them to shift. She knows what is possible if you were to let go of the negative emotions. The key she says is to identify the specific emotions. She shows scans of people getting out of pain in less than an hour. It’s a daily practice of aligning your mind with your emotions. Some people literally change so they can stay pain-free. If it’s been a long-time pattern, it may take a bit longer to change. Emotions can show up, for example, when we state things like, “They are a pain in the neck.” The back represents support. If someone has back pain, they may be feeling unsupported in life or feeling like there’s a lack of money. It can show up in a variety of ways. Some people have shoulder pain. This could be feeling like there’s too much weight on your shoulders or feeling like you need to do it all. It’s possible to get stuck in family patterns including victimhood. The mind can get stuck in these mixed emotions. Unconscious patterns can sabotage us. Brandy talks about the “Gift” Method. How can an injury actually be a gift? What is it in your subconscious mind that may have contributed? She reminds us that it is possible to change. If you have an illness, something is off in life. When we address it, it becomes a gift. Brandy shows us how you can be your own cure! She talks about her course and how it helps you to access new neural pathways. She discusses how we create patterns, both positive and negative, and because of this, it is possible to repattern the mind. It’s also possible to reprogram generational scarcity. You can heal with your mind and achieve real change. You can change your mindset. Is there fear involved with money? Are there negative feelings around money? It is possible to change these emotions. Brandy also demonstrates a short exercise which shows how to program your mind for positive healing. She wants everyone to know that we all have the ability to release our pain and heal ourselves. 20 Feb 2024 | Issac and Thorald Koren: Finding Your Voice with the Brothers Koren - Part 2 | 00:41:26
How do you move forward when you feel blocked? Do you know that you have a beautiful power to voice what you want in the world? But what if you don’t feel safe in expression? Lisa continues the conversation today with our guests Issac and Thorald Koren, better known as the musical duo “The Brothers Koren.” They are transformational voice leaders, music mentors, and artists passionate about hearing “the World’s song, one voice at time.”
How do you get into a safe space with sound? Finding the voice through song can be terrifying but the Koren Brothers share their ideas of 5 ways of being to create a safe space around sound. They ask a series of questions -- Can you be generous with your sound? Can you find something you like and accept it? Many people do not like the sound of their own voice, especially when it’s recorded.
Can you seek out something new of value? Can you free yourself of judgment? They talk about reclaiming your voice after voice trauma. You can still have an experience when you feel deeply. Allow a song to tear you open – it involves taking a risk. A part of us may be waiting to be felt.
Can you be curious about your experience? Can you make up your own melody? Can you trust the process? It’s freeing when you allow your voice to come out. Explore what’s possible.
Are you willing? Can you flow into the moment and allow yourself to meet your voice as you are today? We live such a willful life – but what if we let it flow instead? Be willing, rather than willful. Let it out.
The Brothers Koren sing live on air and share their song “Everything’s Changing.” They invite the audience to sing along, no matter where you are. They talk about coping with all the changes on our planet and how using our voices can help. Harmony is always there to lean into, but so is dissonance. It’s up to us to choose. When we choose harmony, it magnetizes what we want. The most beautiful harmonies accept differences. Ask, how can you see another perspective? See the relations between the notes. Be in awe.
Can we stay in gratitude? Can you be awe of the fact that your voice is your own personal blueprint? Can you dare to make a sound without worrying how good it is?
Find your note, honor your note, and be interested in finding harmony with another note. This is very similar to flowing on the dance floor. Use your voice to find what feels good for you. Music holds so many memories. We all have the instrument within ourselves and can use this to embody and bring in more joy, balance, and harmony in our lives! The Brothers Koren have played to millions of listeners worldwide and have toured with P!NK, Coldplay, and Rod Stewart as The Kin. This is Part 2 of the interview. For more info about their upcoming online class, visit: https://shiftnetwork.
09 Jan 2024 | Marci Shimoff: Create Miracles in 2024! – Part 2 | 00:32:06
Did you know that less than 10% of people actually reach the goals they set during the New Year? Why do most resolutions fail? Would you like to learn how to reach your goals AND how to live a miraculous and fulfilling life? What are you called to do in 2024? Lisa continues the conversation today with #1 New York Times bestselling author, world-renowned transformational teacher, and an expert on happiness, success, and unconditional love, Marci Shimoff. This is Part 2 of the interview. 28 May 2024 | Judith Orloff, MD: Using Empathy as a Healing Force – Part 1 | 00:38:34
Do you sometimes feel reclusive or like an introvert? Do you enjoy spending time by yourself? Perhaps you consider yourself sensitive and empathic. These traits may make it challenging to navigate very busy, noise-filled environments. But how can you become an empowered empath? Our guest today, Judith Orloff, MD, is a psychiatrist, an empath, and author of the new book, “The Genius of Empathy,” which offers powerful skills to tap into empathy as a daily healing practice in your life and relationships. She addresses these ideas and more during today’s interview. During the pandemic, people were given permission to stay inside and alone. This may have seemed ideal for many empaths and Highly Sensitive People. Today, events have returned, we are invited to venture out socially, and life has gotten even more hectic. Yet, many people are still overwhelmed with the thought of being in noisy places and around crowds. Dr. Orloff discusses ways you can be strong whether staying in or going out into the world. So many people were isolated and lonely during the pandemic years. She talks about how it affected Highly Sensitive People, as well as empaths. Highly Sensitive People are very sensitive to lights, sounds, and crowds. Dr. Orloff talks about utilizing practical skills to stay in observation, rather than being taken out by the fray. Meditation may also help. She talks about psychopaths, narcissists, and those with empathy deficiency disorders. Oftentimes, there’s an attraction between empaths and narcissists. The narcissists want to be adored, but they cannot reciprocate. Empaths need to be very cautious of these types of people. Dr. Orloff talks about “love bombing” and how that can be a warning sign. This is typical of narcissists and psychopaths in the beginning. Empaths want love and narcissists want power. This is a huge difference between the two. She further discusses the importance of self-love and self-empathy. Many of us are told we are not enough, or not doing a great job, etc. Loving ourselves is so important, even if you make mistakes. You can always make amends. Lisa and Dr. Orloff talk about difficult situations and conversations. Dr. Orloff suggests having conversations with only one topic. You can move on to additional topics later so as to not overwhelm the person. Keep your center, and have loving detachment. It’s so important to not become enmeshed with another person, especially for empaths. Boundaries can be a huge challenge for empaths, but it’s a skill that must be developed. Some people feel empathy fatigue. When there’s too much noise, or too many people, it’s time to take a break, sit in a quiet or dark room, and slow down. Meditation helps. An empath can be blown out emotionally by the news. It can be very painful to watch. So how can you stay informed but not be overwhelmed? Dr. Orloff suggests setting a limit as to how much news you watch and reminds us that it is not our responsibility to take on all the emotional suffering of the world. She deeply discusses the idea that if you have empathy, you will NOT have wars. Empathy helps to diffuse the warlike energy. You can be empathic toward others, and you don’t want to carry resentments. You want to have a lightness of being and free yourself. Conflict resolution is so important. In fact, the Dalai Lama wrote the Foreword to her book. His life has been dedicated to empathy and compassion. Empathy can be a Superpower! The more people who can empathize, the more the world can become a more peaceful place. Everyone can do this. You must get out of your mind and judgement and go to your heart. The heart wants to try to find empathy and compassion for suffering, especially for those who trigger you. You can have compassion for the wounded part of those who trigger you by recognizing their misery. It doesn’t excuse them, but it frees you. It’s so important to be light, so you don’t have to carry conflict with you. You can choose how much time you want to spend with this person. Don’t be triggered. Write in your journal so you know that those are your emotional triggers. You can begin to work with them. In order to live more peacefully, it is important to accept people’s rigidity. You do not need to agree with them. This is Part 1 of the interview. Info: DrJudithOrloff.com
18 Jan 2024 | Best of The Aware Show with Ian Punnett: How to Pray When You're Pissed at God – Part 2 | 00:33:45
How do you deal with angry feelings when things go wrong? Do you sometimes think that God is to blame? Is it possible to pray when you are upset and hurt? Lisa continues the conversation today with radio host, best-selling author, and Episcopalian Deacon Ian Punnett as he shares ways to express your rawest emotions through prayer, as described in his book, “How to Pray When You’re Pissed at God.” Ian talks about anger in a societal aspect and how it’s even portrayed in gender. He discusses an emphasis in how women are taught to “accept things” and “not be too loud.” This mutes their own voice because of expectations. If things are going wrong, prayer can actually keep you going so you can express your feelings. Ian talks about a simple 3-step method: Name it – What is really bothering you? Proclaim it – Give it voice in detail. Then, Reframe it. He talks about giving anger space and not reacting right away. Ian also talks about prayer and religion, as well as meditation and visualization. He explains ways to express anger and how, in certain circumstances, it is fine to do so. We have a poor understanding of the role of anger; we don’t teach it, and we don’t know how to be constructively and responsibly angry. The model is in the Bible. Ian explains how there are Psalms and Hymns about anger, and he discusses the work he has done as a chaplain in the hospital with people who are very angry about their situations. He talks about addressing it, as suppressed anger can eventually lead to depression. If we feel like we are being hurt, we can pray about it. Ian Punnett is one of the hosts of Coast to Coast AM, a legendary radio show syndicated on more than 600 stations across North America. He received his Ph.D. from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University and served as a professor and chief operator of the award-winning KSDB–FM at Kansas State University. He is a deacon in the Episcopal Church and received his Masters of Divinity degree from Columbia Theological Seminary in Atlanta. He has worked in radio since he was 14 years old, at the high school radio station, then as a nighttime DJ at a Chicago station during college. He also worked at stations in Nashville, Atlanta, and Minneapolis/St Paul. After experiencing tinnitus, he was forced to step down from radio and during many sleepless nights, he wrote the book, “How to Pray When You’re Pissed at God.” This is Part 2 of the interview. Info: https://www.coasttocoastam. This interview was originally taped in June of 2013, and we air this today in honor of our colleague and friend Deacon Ian Punnett. 07 May 2024 | Kimberly Meredith: Healing in the 5th Dimension – Part 1 | 00:26:43
Have you been hearing about “dimensions”? Have you heard about people operating “in the 5-D”? What could this possibly mean? Today’s guest is author and spiritual healer Kimberly Meredith who will explain what it means, in practical terms, to traverse different dimensions. Kimberly talks about the day-to-day three-dimensional world where we currently live. She discussed the crisis that we are currently in, whether it be an unhoused population, suffering, war, poverty, and so much division on the planet. She talks about how the Middle Class is disappearing and people are feeling more and more desperate. This is the heavy energy found in the 3-D. This is an old way of living, according to Kimberly. Various products may have helped in the past, but now we are being asked to upgrade. What worked for our world 20 years ago, may no longer be working. Is there a different way to operate? Is there another way to live? She talks about her childhood, and how her grandfather would tape her with a video camera. She had an ability to “blink her eyes” and connect with spirit. She had many metaphysical experiences and would try to heal other children at school. Her mother did not like these mystical events that Kimberly was having, so she did not allow them to continue. Kimberly began living an ordinary 3rd dimensional reality after that for many years. She talks about her simple life, where she worked as a nurse’s assistant, advised on television shows, and how she would hang out with her fiancé, go shopping at the mall, etc. It was all a very “normal” life. That changed several years later, when she tragically got hit by a car when walking down the sidewalk. After experiencing this profoundly life-changing accident, she had an NDE and her psychic skills returned. As a healer and spiritual teacher, she now uses her abilities to “scan” her clients. She also developed skills as a Medium. She is now operating in an even higher dimension. Her Guides help her to help others. Kimberly is the author of “Awakening to the Fifth Dimension,” and she is currently working on her next book so people can learn how to use their own gifts. She understands that everyone has access to these abilities. We can all live in different dimensions and frequencies. We don’t have to stay stuck. We can all heal. She also discusses how everything has frequencies and codes. We can learn from these codes to break free and grow. We are in constant change and movement, which can be very painful at times, but this is all part of the growth experience. This is Part 1 of the interview. Info: TheHealingTrilogy.com
25 Jul 2024 | Best of The Aware Show with Matthew Fox: Post-Modern Forms of Worship and Redefining Christianity | 00:34:29
Is it time to redefine the meaning of what it means to be Christian? Traditional religious institutions may be apathetic, or even corrupt, as we’ve seen in the Catholic priest scandals. Yet, it is possible to feel inspired and start new, according to our guest today, internationally acclaimed theologian Matthew Fox. Matthew was a member of the Dominican Order for 34 years, but then expelled for being a feminist theologian, which went against the traditional teachings. He then started his own institutions for Creative Spirituality. Today Matthew talks about how more and more people have strayed away from traditional religion. Many parents have given up on religion, so how do you teach children about morals and spirit? Matthew discusses how we can emphasize the spirituality aspect more through contemplation and action. Younger people are interested in social reform. He talks about the importance of Christian mystics ranging from Hildegard von Bingen to Meister Eckhart to Pierre Teilhard de Chardin. To recreate religion, we need to consider mysticism. Modern spiritual leaders such as Thích Nhat Hanh and the Dalai Lama are teaching about spirit. Matthew suggests considering various wisdom and studying different ranges of religions. He invites us to ask questions such as how we are related to these great beings like Jesus, Mother Mary, Buddha, or Mohammad. He discusses the intense need for connection that was formerly found though religious communities. Raves are a new way to celebrate rituals. The original purpose was to worship, so he developed the “Cosmic Mass” – a dance celebration ritual without drugs. He talks about how creativity is extremely important. We can look at the planets and stars and ask how we are connected. How can we live in awe? Matthew holds a doctorate in the History and Theology of Spirituality from the Institut Catholique de Paris. He founded the Institute in Culture and Creation Spirituality. Matthew continues to be an activist for gender justice and eco-justice. He is the author of 37 books and today he talks about his book “The Pope’s War.” Info: MatthewFox.org
27 Jun 2024 | Best Of The Aware Show with Lita Lee, Ph.D. : The Enzyme Cure | 00:26:57
Do you sometimes experience stomach issues after you eat? Are you familiar with enzymes and why are they so important to our bodies? Today on the show Lisa talks with Lita Lee, Ph.D. She is a chemist, enzyme therapist, nutritionist, author, and lecturer who has been in private practice for several decades. Her book is “The Enzyme Cure.” Dr. Lee talks about plant enzymes – what they are, how they can help us, and how they may be the most overlooked link to our good health. The right plant enzymes can help reverse asthma, cancer, diabetes, herpes, kidney stones, menopausal symptoms, weight problems, and dozens of other common disorders. Dr. Lee also discusses the dangers of microwaving food and how the radiation alters the vitamins and nutrients in the food. She talks about fluoride in our waters and how that causes disease. She also addresses diabetes and explains how white sugars are detrimental to our health, as well as why there is an epidemic of thyroid disorders.
