The spiritual awakening journey is unique to everyone. There are many moments along the path that can feel intense, especially when it comes to ascension symptoms. My guest today is someone who speaks first-hand about her experience going through the awakening journey and how it has opened up a whole new level of connection, both with her true self and with the divine… A connection that was always there and yet not fully understood until now. Today I am talking about my relationship with God, the journey of my understanding of the word God, and the evolution of this relationship over time. Growing up in a Catholic household, the word God was always associated with religion. As I grew up I distanced myself from this word and what I thought it stood for. As I began to walk my spiritual teaching path, I used other words instead: Source energy, the Divine, or the Universe. I kept encountering the word God in my spiritual work, but I chose not to use it in my teachings. At some point I realized I was tiptoeing around this word. I began to explore the feelings and thoughts I associated with the word God. For myself it was important to release the religious connotation that the word God held for me growing up. And it was time for me to embrace the pure spirituality of what God represents, and what that energy feels like and what it means. Now, the term “Universe” feels too vague for me. I feel a pull for myself to create this direct connection and intention of talking directly to God. This transformation opened me up to deeper awareness, connection, and remembrance. It has sharpened my perspective and what I have already known. I feel more elevated and connected in who I am now that I have transformed my understanding of the word God. This is my experience and we all have our own perspective when it comes to the word God and our relationship with God. It is so important for us to explore the words we are pulled towards, or words we are triggered by. Take time to reflect on words you tend to avoid or that trigger you, and you will gain a deeper understanding of yourself in the process. I am currently sharing a free 5-chapter storytelling series called Awakened! It's the written story of the last 6 months and the powerful healing, lessons and transformation that has occurred (and continues to unfold). The scariness of the vulnerability + the excitement of my expression in the form of writing is SO REAL. Ahhhhh! There's nowhere else to go but to walk the path of THIS truth. Today I am answering the question, how to feel worthy. I think we should first start by replacing the word “worthy” to “valuable.” The definition of value is what something is worth, or how important something is. So worthiness is an end product of value. We need to acknowledge and embody our value before we can understand our worth. Once you understand how valuable and important you are, you will not need to think about your worthiness - you will just know you are worthy because you know you are valuable. Another way to feel more valuable is to remove attachments to outside things that make you feel valuable. So if you think your job makes you valuable, or your partner, or the money you earn, or where you live brings you value. Sometimes God will remove things from our lives because we think, “if we have this thing, then we are of value.” This is God’s way of letting us know that we are valuable without anything at all - we are valuable just as we are. This is not to say we can’t have these things! We are meant to live in abundance of all the things! It just means that when you see the value and importance of your being, then you open yourself up to abundance in all of the areas of your life. Knowing you are a valuable human and a beautiful divine soul will allow you to experience abundance in your life because it is part of who you are naturally. This shift in perspective to see yourself as valuable will create a shift to everything else around you aligning with that energetic frequency. The truth is you are already valuable - and the key is you need to see it for yourself! How quickly can you change your perspective to see the truth of how valuable you are.
