06 Nov 2019Episode 2 Bomber from Go Ruck00:34:56

Introducing Bomber from GO RUCK  USA

Bomber is the community manager at Go Ruck

Founded by a Green Beret, GORUCK is an American brand with Special Forces roots. Excellence, toughness, and adaptability are the pillars of our way of life, which influence how we do, what we do:

GEAR & APPAREL - From start to finish, we design, test, and proudly overbuild gear and performance apparel - so that it thrives in Baghdad and NYC. Green Berets serve as judge and jury of quality.

FOOTWEAR - The best story in the history of footwear. Old school Special Forces. Post-9/11 modern day Special Forces. Inventor of the Reebok Pump. MACV-1 honors the heritage of the Vietnam-era jungle boot and adapts it to the modern day, all terrain requirements of traveling, training, rucking — and assaulting.

EVENTS - Classic Special Forces missions involve training foreign armies and serving beside them. At GORUCK, 100+ decorated combat veterans of Special Forces lead our 1,000+ events/year. Their job is to build teams and empower individuals from all walks to lead active, engaged lives.

RUCKING - Moving with weight on your back is the foundation of Special Forces training - and GORUCK Events. Rucking combines strength and cardio, is adaptable to anyone’s goals based on the amount of weight carried, and is a popular, empowering activity for those who hate to run or find it boring.

So, yes we build gear. Yes, we lead events, build teams, and strengthen communities. But only because if we didn’t, we’d have to find some other way to change the world, one day at a time.

27 Sep 2019Karl Rushen00:38:28

Karl Rushen is an adventurer and endurance athlete, in 2011 his Brother was tragically killed in action as a Member of the SAS.

Karl has created an amazing legacy for his brother and has not only challenged himself, but so many others to "Be a better Version of Themselves"

Karl created The 100 Peaks Challenge, a tribute to his brother

The team began the Challenge on 23rd May 2017 finishing on the summit of Pen Y Fan on the anniversary of his death. The 25 Day duration was the length of his brothers' last tour of duty.

Karl say the thing he's most proud of as a Champion is the amount of people that decided to make a change in themselves as a result of what they were aiming to achieve with the Challenge. So many people began their own personal journeys, using The 100 Peaks as a catalyst, something he's keen to grow as a legacy of the Challenge   Where you can find more info about Karl

The Allycast is a great love of mine, I love your messages, I love how my guests have inspired you and I feel that as it is my true love I should focus on just this area. So I am going to amalgamate the 2 podcasts and will put regular Diary episodes on the The Allycast. I will upload the previously recorded episodes today to the Allycast and all future episodes will be uploaded to make the Allycast bigger and better.
