This episode we explore the Australian Bushfires that took place between June 2019 and March 2020. We discussed how much of this is related to global warming and what is the responsible thing for travelers to do.

During this episode, we discuss something that is on the mind of everyone in 2020, pandemics. We delve into detail around the history of pandemics and how patterns are changing around them. How much are pandemics an issue related to sustainability?

In this episode, we discuss both the past and the future of the travel industry: train travel! Where it has come from and where it is going. As well as delving into current topics about sustainability in general, we discuss some of the real advantages train travel brings and why we should all be replacing it with flights as much as we can!

This week we discuss a topic dear to our hearts, wildlife! As animal lovers, we want to discuss issues around wildlife tourism. How it has changed over the years and if ethical wildlife tourism even exists. This is part of a two-part episode. This week we concentrate on land animals.

The topic of wildlife tourism continues, this week we look into the subject of marine mammal parks. We have our first ever guest, Katheryn Wise from World Animal Protection. She was the campaign manager for the recent documentary fooled by a smile. In this episode, we discuss both the documentary and the topic of the marine entertainment business and all of the controversies that come with it. As usual, we provide interesting facts, insights along the way with valuable solutions on how we can act for a better future.

This week we look into the topic of haycations, or farm stays as they are also called. This type of tourism has evolved over the years as mass farming has come into play, and the smaller local farms need to look into ways of generating revenue. But benefits are two-fold with travelers finding holistic and educational benefits in such travels. Of course, we also discuss sheep shagging and cow hugging, and everything in-between as well. This week we look into the subject of solo travel. With Corona making us spend more time than ever with ourselves, maybe traveling alone seems like a more accessible idea to people when we can once again explore. As winter has well and truly arrived, we decided to delve into the topic of snowsports. Looking into the history of both snowboarding and skiing. We cover topics including snowsport clothing, ski resorts, and the future of the activity.
