In this second episode of St. Mary's Formation series, Rev. Robin and Rev. Don reflect on some differences between the Episcopal Church and the Catholic Church. 
This podcast is for those preparing for Confirmation or Reception into the Episcopal Church in our parish, but all are welcome to listen in!

Rev. Don and Rev. Robin talk about the different resources that we draw on to create Sunday Worship and how you can access those resources for your own use, and also answer a question from Episode 1 about confirmation.

This episode is longer than usual, in order to give an overview of what is in the Book of Common Prayer, and how to use it for your own prayers or praying with others. You can follow along with Rev. Rev. Robin and Rev. Don talk about the various different rituals that folks may see on a Sunday morning, and the various meanings. We thought it would be fun to give our opinions on what is our personal preference/piety, but we also want to affirm that if it is meaningful to you, that is the mark of whether you should engage in a ritual.

Rev. Don and Rev. Robin reflect on how people serve God in their daily lives, and ways to get involved in church ministries as well.

Our youth and youth leaders spent a week in Chiloquin Oregon this summer, as part of the Sierra Service Project. They joined  youth from different places in the western US, and were divided up into work teams to assist in building repair projects for those in need in the community. They also spent time getting to know people in the community, had a presentation about the local indigenous culture from local folks, and had time for reflection and spiritual renewal.
