Indications You Might Be Without Joy
00:20:19
Episode Summary: In this episode, you will hear a list of indicators that you might not be accessing joy through Holy Spirit. Christine makes the connection between these indicators and bondage in your life that is preventing you from accessing joy, peace, and freedom.
Joy is an active and very intentional choice every single day. This episode highlights struggles (indicators) that we face every day, but that as believers in Jesus Christ, we have a choice to not be a slave to and instead, choose to deny ourselves and receive joy.
Questions to reflect on while listening: 1. What are some indicators in my life that I may be without joy? (You can pull from the list mentioned in episode or others you come up with on your own) 2. What practical things can I begin doing to be freed from the bondage of these indicators and instead, access joy and freedom? And if you are unsure, respond with that!
To be featured in an episode, submit these responses to the email below and feel free to give feedback, ask questions, etc!

The Source of Joy| Good News for 3 Groups of People
00:28:58
|Episode Summary| In this episode, Christine breaks down The Gospel of Jesus Christ and is intended for three groups of people: 1. The individual who is walking led by Holy Spirit and is very aware of the spiritual battle within them every day, sometimes moment by moment. 2. The individual who grew up in church or around churched people and is aware of the Gospel of Christ, but lacks understanding of the spiritual battle within them. 3. The individual who was not churched growing up, nor surrounded by professing Christians; who is taking an interest in the things of God maybe for the first time, being drawn to God by Holy Spirit Himself.
Christine explains the Gospel through the lens of 1. Creation 2. The Fall and 3. Redemption, with an emphasis on point #2 and our lack of joyfulness being our problem all along, not God's.
|Points to reflect on while listening or afterwards| 1. Do I genuinely believe that lack of joyful living is rooted in sin? 2. Do I genuinely believe that Jesus Christ is the ONLY solution to the problem of my sin and the lack of joy in my life?

Emotions For Holiness | Real Life Testimonies
00:45:40
Episode Summary | In this episode, you will hear four testimonies told by Christine from four real women who struggle with being tempted with the source idols of 1. Comfort 2. Control 3. Power and 4. Approval. Often times in our lives, when we are experiencing sinful responses to events around us, it is because we have taken one of these four concepts as an idol in the place of God. The emphasis of this episode is helping the audience to take captive the beliefs that we have after an event occurs and reframing it into God's truth. The premise of renewing your mind daily, but this implies that we need to do it moment by moment in order to allow our emotions to be used for holiness.
