In episode 1 of the Sanamama Podcast, I share my birth story, and the unexpected death of my first born son Dash Ra. Born at 41 weeks, he took his last breath 7 hours after a blissful and uncomplicated free birth. What came next would be months of wondering if he could've been saved, navigating postpartum without my son, and finding out his cause of death 3.5 months after he passed. Honoring his life through ceremony and cremation and the motivation behind creating Sanamama.
