In this episode, the party comes face to face with the unholy Void Sphere, known as an Annihilation Sphere, in the inner sanctum of the underground devils laboratory, the repercussions of Therman’s heightened teleport spell is felt as two characters are completely destroyed and the rest of our group are trapped with no way out. A powerful hag, played by special guest star Ginny Loveday, dominates the group, against their will, to take part in the ultimate sacrifice, chaining all but Therman to energy vessels along the outer walls of the sanctum. The Captian's addiction to "Eagle's Splendor" might get the best of everyone.  

LDR Season 3 is an all-new story taking 3 of our heros from season 1, Viv, Oroc and Therman, and sending them back to Golarian from the bone yard as Pharasma has given them a second chance to be born again and learn from their mistakes as new souls. But rebirth from an old soul is never easy and second chances hard to come by! Cast out as newborns our heroes are orphaned, only to be taken in by a Pathfinder clan in Taldor and schooled in the ways of the Pathfinder Society. Witnessing an “Event” during “confirmation” in Absolam, their first Pathfinder mission changes everything and leads them to the very brink of fate as they question all that they’ve been taught! Facing significant challenges and threats, their Path will ultimately lead them to Cheliax where once again they’ll meet their destiny while encountering a world ending threat that must be destroyed. What will our beloved characters do, where will the next path take them… will they ever truly find peace or find their way to make it home again!

In this episode: Given a second chance to pass confirmation our kids take to the sea one more time to document an investigation of a shipwreck from unknown origins. An unorthodox sea captain, played by special guest star Maclain Nelson, who is having a bit of anxiety living up to his famous fathers reputation, leads the crew into peril as their ship barely avoids giant sea boulders and is attacked by a monstrous sea serpent looking for it’s daily meal.

About Nelson:

Maclain Nelson was born on July 15, 1980 as Maclain Darrell Nelson. He is a producer and actor, known for Show Offs (2019), Little Women (2018) and Once I Was a Beehive(2015). He is married to Clare Niederpruem.

He first appeared in a film in 2003 in Pride and Prejudice as an extra. In 2004 he portrayed the young Howard W. Hunter in the reportage Howard W. Hunter: Modern Day Prophet . In the following years he played mostly extras or supporting roles in films. Since 2007 Nelson has also appeared as a film producer or co-producer. In 2008 he starred in a bigger film in Forever Strong alongside Sean Astin or Gary Cole or in War Pigs with Dolph Lundgren .

He had two roles as actor and producer, for example in Vamp U , Orcs - They Come to Kill Us All or Orc Wars .

He is married to the actress, film director and costume designer Clare Niederpruem .

After a good night's rest under the protection of the reformed Hell Knight Sir Malbec, played by special guest star David Air, of the candle and the curse, rusty revolver, the farm and poison of grapefruit, our young pathfinders are excited to experience the famed Liberty Day festival of flowers dedicated to the god of fire, Sarenrae. Running into some money trouble with Goblins at the local bank, our adventurers decide to throw caution to the wind and take part in the ever-growing street parties. Caught up in the festivities our group face unseen challenges that bring unwanted attention to them including potential ghosts from their past and a lethal enemy that loves to get under your skin. Finding their way into the VIP social club and learning that they’ve been tricked, our young pathfinders turn the tables and get the last laugh.

The Fellowship travels even deeper outside of time and space into Nyx's 2nd fate Decima.  A strange plane void of mortal where Walrus attempts to talk to a living wall, as the Fellowship attacks a unique enemy.  

Guest star Dave Burns plays Gauche as the fellowship stops to exchange campfire tales. Back on the climb, the group has it's first dragon encounter!

The Cleric, Walrus, has insights into altered history and perhaps the Whispering Tyrant is Whispering in new ways

Tar-Baphon was a powerful wizard king who ruled central Avistan at the end of the 9th century AR. Killed by the god Aroden himself in 896 AR, he rose as the lich known as the Whispering Tyrant in  3203 AR, and ruled the country of Ustalav for centuries. He was finally defeated by the Shining Crusade in 3827 AR and imprisoned within his capital of Gallowspire.

The Fellowship has been missing a key member of the party and they have a clue as to where he is, so this is a rescue mission episode! Everyone is still in the Great Epp where time and space is distorted and unstable.  I leave you with this question, "Have you ever made demon eggs?"

The Girls and Buzz get into some real teenage trouble as they discover a wrecked ship 2 minutes before the town guard.  As with any good teen, they need to explore, but this ship is eerie with no signs of the living.    Brooke barely makes it out of this one, it will take some luck rolls!

Previously on The RPG All-Stars presents The Loaded Dice Rollers the adventurers killed Queen Janu and defeated the Drow assassins. GM Macleods was shocked how easy the battle was won.  Now, the group returns to the ancient temple ruins that Anastasia and her band of thieves were using as a hideout. Upon reuniting with Ren and his newly found alter personality, our hero’s fear that he may have tripped up a hidden mind trap, same as Mora, and feel even more urgency to get him back to Almas for treatment at the same Asylum Mora had been brought too. Continuing on with their plan, our young Pathfinders head out, taking the shortcut that had been shown to them by the two Halflings scouts, just a day before. Ambushed by a Hill giant, thinking he’s found his next human snack, our hero’s must find a way to survive as Mora’s life may hang in the balance and time is not on their side.

Up against impossible enemies traveling beyond the galactic aftermath in a realm hidden from mortals, the Fellowship is forced to use more wishes to survive.

Discovering that Arden’s daughter Anastasia is alive, Ren and Luna continue to head deeper into the ruins in search of more clues to her whereabouts. Nature calls, so Theros heads outside to relieve himself, just as a group of thieves, led by Dorianna Quidda and Lady Rosen Blatt, played by special guest star Traci Stumpf, comedian extraordinaire, whose credits include Crime Obsession, Sorry not Sorry, Bugging Out, Debatable and Two Broken Girls, surprise him while he’s completely vulnerable and exposed. As the conversation breaks down the thieves begin to attack, sending arrows flying. Theros falls to the ground wounded and unconscious just as Lady Rosen Blatt pulls down her kilt and gives him an unexpected golden surprise. Waking up at the thieves' camp tied, bound and smelling like urine, Theros is interrogated. Discovering who they have caught the interrogation turns into a good ole comedic roasting for the high society Pathfinder whose family has fallen out of grace.

Barely escaping death at the hands of the Minotaur tribe and watching their brother and ward be murdered, Ren and Luna arrive safely back in Absalom. Damaged and haunted by the trauma they’ve been through, our young characters dig into their studies as they make the city their new home. Fast-forwarding two years, after officially graduating confirmation into the Pathfinder Society, our new young Pathfinders are given their first mission outside of the gates of Skyreach, but first they must travel back to their home city of Oppara and reconnect with an old family friend to receive a Pathfinders most prized possession, the WayFinder.

EPISODE 21

Upon arrival to Brastlework our young Pathfinders, Luna and Mora start their search for the void sphere. Surprised by the abrupt arrival of Anastasia, to the front gates, Ren and Theros stay back and help garner her entry to the city. Entering the main city hub, Ren, Theros and Anastasia are greeted by two outlandishly colorful Gnomes, one played by Special guest star Jean Simonet, AI developer of Fallout 3&4, Skyrim, Aeon Flux and Oblivion, as well as being the creator of Pixel dice (the first electronically augmented dice) playing chief entertainer Julian with his magical assistant Gravis, the fortune teller, played by the Rules God. Theros makes a quick trip to the local antiquities shop with Ren who is seeking out a couple of important items at the request of his new alter ego. Achieving this task, Ren asks for an audience with the city’s grand mage as Theros heads back to Anastasia to check in. Learning more about the Gnome Gravis’ abilities to read fortunes, our heros find ways to bring color back to his spirit which has dulled due to a lack of excitement, a affliction known as being bleached. Working together to tell outrageous colorful stories, Gravis is able to read multiple fortunes for Anastasia and Theros, lending them foreboding knowledge of the potential grim future ahead.

Young Pathfinders, field agents, finding truth in the path, as a wondrous item, tears your soul, with a wizard, Level 20, using Astral tabletop, with Special guest star Jean Simonet, AI developer of Fallout 3&4, Skyrim, Aeon Flux and Oblivion, as well as being the creator of Pixel dice (the first electronically augmented dice), colorful Gnomes, playing DnD, and Pathfinder 2e, campaign, with the knights of Ozem, looking for the Heart’s Edge sword, from the Goddess Iomedae, as we’re bleached, telling outrageous stories, playing with two balls, reading your fortune, listen to the spirits, death is around the corner, with the great wizard, and magical crystals, rolling crazy good dice, and Nat 20s, as we do it live.

The Fellowship attempts to figure out how to survive in the next step of their journey.  The banter in this episode is definitely one of GM's favorites of season 1!

As our hero’s continue to search the underground facility with special guest star Jamison Stone, playing the lawful evil, Jamis “the trusted”, they discover a laboratory filled with half living creatures, from all over the region, chained to the walls having been the victims of a horrible experiment and torture. Coming face to face with a giant mad devil scientist one of the cast members meets their demise, as all hope for survival seems to be lost. A wish for a miracle seems to change fate only for the adventurers to discover what the real evil within is hiding. As the wizard Therman tries to bend an ancient cosmic rule that binds the very existence of the whispering forest, our group comes face to face with death once again. Who will live and who will die is the question as there is no escaping their fate at the hands of this archaic terror.

As our young pathfinders Ren and Luna return to their hometown Oppara, they seek out an old family friend, Muesello, a highly talented and skilled mage-machinist. Muesello runs the local Pathfinder lodge, which is hidden behind the façade of a greasy bait and tackle shop down by the docks. Acting as the lodge’s venture-captain, Muesello has been given word of our hero's return and has prepared special magical Wayfinders for the new Pathfinders. As they drink mystic tea and are enlightened, our group learns that spies have been looking for them and that Arden’s daughter Anastasia is actually alive and in the city of Andoran. Knowing that they must find Anastasia at all costs, our young Pathfinders head out on a dangerous quest to find their long lost friend.

Arriving in Absalom safely, our young pathfinders head to meet the Pathfinder Grand Master, played by special guest star and Gen Con 2022 owner Peter Adkison. The new clan head, Arden, seeks information about his kidnapped daughter and looks for a way to save her from an uncertain death. The kids share their quest stories from Opara and work to navigate the trials of assigned tasks, as they’re given a chance to prove themselves and gain official confirmation into the pathfinder guild.

The history behind Magic: The Gathering is one of the most popular collectible card games on the market with almost 30 years of history. Our heroes, having located the clearing where the rivers meet the woods, foreshadowed by the spirits in the crystal balls, and defeating a succubus devil in the ancient ruins at the entrance of the underground crypt, are reunited with Thero’s and Luna whom have hired a skilled local wayfarer to get them through the whispering forest alive. Special guest star Jamison Stone and Satine Pheonix. Jamison plays “The Trusted” a lawful evil wayfarer determined to rid the local lands of all chaos. Travelling deeper into the ancient underground labyrinth and barely escaping death once again, our adventurers soon discover that an evil destructive energy of unknown power exists within what they now know to be an unholy testing laboratory where they are destined to meet their final fate.

The membership consists primarily of Pathfinders, adventurers who travel throughout Golarion—usually inconspicuously—and explore, delve, and otherwise experience the lesser-seen parts of the world. They send journals documenting their travels back to their venture-captains, who also assigns them new missions and suggests new places to explore. The most exciting and illuminating of these journals are compiled in the Pathfinder Chronicles, an ongoing series of books that collect the history and mystery of Golarion for its membership and the general public.[ ABSALOM: For more than 4,000 years, Absalom (pronounced AB-sah-lahm)[1] has been the City at the Center of the World, a metropolis-sized showcase of the greatest treasures in all Golarion. The importance and influence of Absalom upon the Inner Sea and the whole of Golarion can not be overstated.

Escaping from the burning Asylum madhouse with Mora and their sanity, our young Pathfinders head to the fishmonger at the docks to rendezvous with Anastasia and Jack. Special guest star John Irons, growth wizard from Astral Tabletop VTT, DM for the Almost Heros podcast, and creator of Dungeons box at dungeonsco.com, plays a well known Gnome from the Brotherhood of Silence, Snap Crackle Pop, and offers to help the group with passage out of the city on his trade boat after they’ve attracted unwanted attention. Letting the group know that public conversations about the darklands can get them killed, Anastasia reveals what she and Jack are really looking for, an awesome artifact of terrible power and darkness, the Void Sphere, one of which is rumored to exist somewhere in the devil nation Cheliax. Knowing the rumor to be true and its potential whereabouts, Pops agrees to provide passage for our adventurers but not before Ren and his new alter personality have a meltdown regarding the Aspis. Finally getting Ren subdued and setting sail, our heros face another epic challenge from a Sea Monster looking to tear apart the fragile ship and send them all to their watery graves.

Arriving back to Almas and the in-famous medical Institution that Mora was brought to days before, to get treatment, our adventurer’s request to see the head doctor in charge of the facility. As they attempt to get information and find where Mora is being held within the sanitarium, Ren unexpectedly falls ill and is quickly taken away by a nurse to a hidden waiting room. Investigating deeper, Luna and Theros are separated, through a series of odd events, causing each to become disoriented and isolated within the tormented establishment. Seemingly trapped within the psychopathic ward, our young Pathfinders find nothing is as it seems and something very sinister is going on behind closed doors. It will take all of our hero’s strength to get Mora out safely and survive the hidden horrors deep within the madhouse of craziness.

With the Centaur tracker Silver and the golden weasel leading the way our group unknowingly discovers they’re being hunted, once again, by the drow and need to retreat into the valley of the Minotaur. Forced into a tactical disadvantage, our adventurers are ambushed by a tribe of Minotaur as a secret of the flesh is revealed and an explosion of fire brings death.

The Adventurers are still in the gnome town of Brastlework located inside the devil nation of Cheliax, which is a huge problem for our paladin!

They reconnecting with Luna and Ren, Theros and Anastasia share the fortunes from the crystal balls, and the hidden clue that might just lead them to the void sphere they’re searching for.

The two gifted Gnomes, Julian, played by special guest star Jean Simonet, AI developer of Fallout 3&4, Skyrim, Aeon Flux and Oblivion, as well as being the creator of Pixel dice (the first electronically augmented dice) and Gravis, the magical fortune teller, played by the Rules God, decide that they will act as the party’s guides and lead them to whispering forest, to meet the entity known as Duality. Ahead of leaving the city, Ren wanders from the group, as they fight after who should be keeping him safe, and is consumed by an unholy darkness. Attempting to once again save him, our group witnesses an event that will change everything and forever leave their very souls broken. As one hero departs to the boneyard and one arrives, truly reborn, a powerful wizard might be the only one who can deliver our hero’s to their final destiny and destroy the Aspis before it tears the world apart.

A Lake has held an Angel captive for a thousand years since the last great fires!  Buzz and his teenage friends attempt to make the best of the situation. 

recap and spoilers: Buzz, his cousin, and friends grew up in a small town in The Verduran Forest, the largest woodlands in Avistan, and straddles the borders between Andoran, Taldor, and Galt. They found out information about a 1000 year fire that would cleanse the lands of all life and no adults would believe them so joined a group of Pixies to help set controlled fires to cut off the chances of the 1000 year fire.  But their efforts weren't enough in the end.  Once the Grand fire sparked, they hid underground for safety and found maybe the true answer to the fire.

This episode Continues the Pathfinder trials of confirmation the kids are met by Arden who returns to help them out through the final assigned tests from the Grand Master Pathfinder, played by special guest star Peter Adkison. About Peter Adkison, he is an American game designer and businessman who is the founder and first CEO of Wizards of the Coast (1993–2001).
