In this video we'll review some recent market news such as job reports, unemployment rates, consumer price index, building permits, housing start declines, and decreases in YoY mortgage applications. 

We talk through the recent fluctuations in interest rates, home median prices now, and over the past few years. We'll take a look at some graphs from Redfin which show pending home sales YoY, and sharp increases in price drops across the nation. 

Then we'll break down what stale inventory is, how rapidly it's increasing and what cities are being impacted the most. We'll also get into the most recent numbers in regards to buyers backing out of deals and cancelling on contracts. 

Increasing levels of home inventory are leading to a decrease in home sale prices, in this video we will look at specific some specific cities where increases in months of supply are driving down sales prices. We’ll look at specific outliers like Boise, Idaho, Jacksonville Florida and see how those cities prices are reacting to stark increases in inventory levels. We’ll also provide some updates to new construction, what incentives home builders are doing, and some real estate news updates.
