This episode: Earlier this year, Rachel Clemens of Mighty Citizen joined me for a conversation about their no-fee tool The Mighty GPS. Using this tool, nonprofit organizations can measure their marketing maturity, which helps them make adjustments to improve their reach to target audiences. So far this year, 60 nonprofits have used the tool, and Rachel is back to share what was learned from this data. We discussed who was doing well, how it compares to higher education and government agencies, and actions that nonprofits can take to improve their marketing whether crawling, walking, running, or soaring! This episode: We're coming up to year end 2022 and that means it's Benefits Season! But what should association benefits look like in this crazy world post-lockdown? I talked with Brian Haney of The Haney Company (and fellow podcaster) about how benefits have changed since the lockdown, the best way to communicate them to employees for maximum value, and whether or not associations are offering *too many* benefits. We talked culture, equity, and recognition of individual needs and whether remote/virtual employees need different benefits than employees in the office. Beth shares her insights about what contributes to burnout, why people in the nonprofit world are challenged with burnout, how leaders can identify burnout in their teams and what they can do about it (Beth shares specific signs of burnout so this is a must watch). We discuss that leaders can contribute to burnout or contribute to healthier, happier employees. Leaders, the choice is yours. This conversation will help you know what steps to take to care for your teams and to care for yourself. A sense of humor is an important tool! And cookies and milk aren't a bad idea either.

AOTA members had concerns about the location, how comfortable everyone would feel, and applied some pressure to "just move the meeting."
