Meditative moments are a new offering, sharing simple tools and practices that can be used in real life as a way to bring the quality of meditation into your day. Similar to Daily Living Meditations, and yet unique in that you don’t need the meditation with you to practice the tool given 💗

Today our mediative moment is a mantra: When I choose peace for myself, I choose peace for the world.

This mantra acknowledges that we are not separate from our world, and in becoming the healing we desire to see, we create it for all to benefit from and receive.

This mantra is perfect for meditating in public, in grocery lines, on buses, in waiting rooms, on park benches, while driving - really any moment in time that could benefit from a spacious breath and a reconnection to your inner heart where peace abides.

Doing this takes courage. It’s counter-culture to be relaxed, to move mindfully, to pause, to close your eyes and take a deep breath.

And yet, there’s nothing more called for by the collective, than those who can embody and offer this energy.

And so when you find yourself in an in-between moment of movement or waiting, be willing to take that vulnerable moment to be peace. To rest in peace. To love.

You can use this meditation as an affirmation meditation and a way to get into a more deeply relaxed meditative state through the power of repetition.

I will repeat with you the whole time, but my voice will become progressively quieter as the meditation continues, closing with a chime once the ten minutes are up.

This is a great mantra to bring into your day. You can repeat it to yourself as you gain consciousness in the morning or set a timer and repeat it over and over like we are here.

The more you repeat these words, the more true and natural they will feel at the deep and surface levels of your being. Life will begin to feel lighter and more loving, and you will see firsthand your power to shape and uplift your relationship with all life positively.

Sometimes we all just need a good swearapy session to come back to our peaceful center. If you are ok with swearing and could use a good release of tension and frustration - then this is for you!

There are many ways you can release this kind of tight-sticky-angry energy. Some of my favourites are going into the forest and yelling or roaring, exercise, ecstatic dance - and of course, swearapy.

This practice works best if you're not particularly offended by swearing, but also don’t use swear words often day to day. It’s all about releasing perfectionism, propriety, and giving yourself permission to be a little bit baaaad. 😈

Imagine swimming in the ocean and just enjoying the silky feel of the water on your skin and how much fun it is to play in the waves, feeling held, supported, and completely safe. 

It’s possible.

Your words have the power to influence the crystalline structure and shape of water directly. And since your blood is 90% water, speaking into the heart where it is oxygenated & exchanged is a powerful way to charge your whole being with beautiful loving energy.

When it comes to water, words of love create beautiful, intricate, organized crystalline structures. Hurtful words created more globular structures.

Soften. Relax. Unclench. Open up. Love. Welcome to Purely Being, Beloved. Today we have a gentle daily living meditation to support you in living with more softness & inner-kindness as you move through your day.

My daily Living meditations are designed to be listened to while your work, move, create, and live your day - inviting more space and softness as you make living from your calm center a living practice in your waking life. Allowing the principles and core essence of meditation to be present in you in all that you do.

This is a low guidance practice for more experienced meditators who know how to relax and be present with ease, but simply need the reminder to do so more often. A great way to use this is directly after your sitting meditation practice as a way to move seamlessly into your day while remaining connected to presence.

I’ll be giving simple prompts every 20-30 seconds or so. Let each word or phrase be a call to presence, inner-softening, and re-alignment with the stable center of your being. Enjoy!

In this exercise, you’ll be anchoring a new belief into your subconscious mind by relaxing the conscious mind and creating a closed-loop energy system with your body posture.

This closed-circuit posture will ensure all your energy is circulating within you and the relaxation of the conscious mind will shift your brain wave patterns from the beta to the alpha and perhaps even theta state.

As you continue to repeat your new belief as an affirmation, dropping deeper and deeper into a relaxed state, the door to your subconscious mind will open. As this happens you’ll feel a felt-shift in your body.

It may feel like a spontaneous softening or a sense of deep peace. Or perhaps a sudden sense of openness and increased spaciousness in your body and mind. The shift may come in 20 seconds or 20 minutes. Be sure that you’ll know it when you feel it.

The shift is a sign the belief has been integrated. You can release the affirmation knowing your subconscious mind has the instructions and will act in accordance with them.

This is a practice of expressing raw sound energy, releasing stagnancy and opening up a clear passageway in the throat chakra.

If you’re laughing or feeling a little embarrassed as you do this - you’re doing it right! Ultimately it should feel liberating.
