28 Feb 2023140: How to Rest As a Public Health Professional00:35:49

In today's episode, a repost from the Redefining Rest for Public Health Professionals Podcast, I talk about how I rest and my journey with rest. This is a great episode for students or professionals as I talk about what rest has looked like for me during these two phases.

Some highlights from the conversation are:
🌟 Mindfully assessing opportunity cost of choices and choosing those that move us closest to the desired outcome
🌟 Focusing on small tasks & celebrating small wins rather than grand gestures
🌟 How I prioritize staying active "often" and different ways this could look like
🌟 Un-committing from things that we think are nurturing us but turn out not to be
🌟  Making time for self-reflection is essential
