Winning the Indian Pacific Wheel Race 5,450km in 14 days and Trans-America Bike Race 6,800km in 16 days 9 hours 56 minutes, which stands as a record. Both of these were his first attempts at each of the races. Then after these endeavours he went on to total 904km in 24hrs on his second attempt at the 24hr time trial. Outside of ultra endurance Abdullah is a man well beyond his years in wisdom. He shares a ton of great insights within this podcast. His 100-mile time of 11 hours, 19 minutes and 13 seconds, bested Oleg Kharitonov’s 2002 world record by almost 11 minutes, and was more than 20 minutes faster than his own American mark of 11:40:55.
