In 2017, Cube founded, "The Big3" - a black-owned three-on-three-premier global league that features many of the most popular and skilled athletes of all time. The league offers an opportunity for great ballers to coach and continue playing the game they love in front of home-court fans.  As the Big3 continues to expand, there are some who oppose its growth, Adam Silver the current commissioner of the NBA in particular.

This week is the upcoming 2022 NFL draft, so of course, the topic for discussion is, "football." Joining us today is Brandon Marshall who gets Naked about his time in the league and in media as a journalist. After five years of not taking interviews, Marshall recently speaks with Colin Kaepernick on his show "I AM Athlete" about his hope to return back to the league. The debate is will it happen and if it's possible for an activist to exist in a league that merely tolerates players, not their opinions. The question...the possibility still lingers as we wait to see if Kaepernick will ever return back to the field to play the game he loves.

Gina Prince Bythewood is a distinguished director dedicated to putting strong black characters in the forefront of her films. After releasing 11-self-produced specials, Williams releases his second collaborative production with Netflix entitled “World War III”.  Yes, this is a comedic special and yes you will laugh, but the topics/theme of misinformation breaking down the lies vs the truth are worthy of sparking conversation. 

In addition, Katt shares; stories of mutual instrumental relationships throughout his life from, Stephen Curry, Tyronn Lue, and Prince and offers his opinions on the business of make-believe and how it plays out in “real” scenarios ie: the Oscars, the incident at the Hollywood Bowl with Dave Chappelle and Janet Jackson’s wardrobe malfunction.

Dawn Staley grew up in a very competitive household that prepared her for whatever the outside world would throw at her - but nothing could have readied her for being a female basketball player in the early ’90s. The WNBA was non-existent, players did not have many career opportunities to compete professionally, but Staley was determined. She played overseas, worked odd jobs, and kept her head in the game, but not even she could have predicted the road that would lead her to South Carolina. After years of playing and coaching, Staley had witnessed various degrees of inequity, but this year '2021" she changed the sport and the trajectory for women to follow her. With the new season gearing up to start this month, it is game on as usual for the University of South Carolina Women Basketball team, but off-the-court Dawn Staley has already won! During this episode, Staley speaks openly about her journey and what it took to get her here, and the risk involved-one thing is for certain; she earned this moment. Now back to the game.
