15 Aug 2022065 How God's Name is Your Gain PT7: Jehovah Rapha - The God Who Heals00:16:07

Do you need healing in your body or heart?

It is said that Jesus received 39 stripes and that each stripe represented healing and victory over one of the 39 major diseases in the world. By His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Healing was a big part of Jesus ministry and it is the heart of our Father God.

Shortly after God’s people left Egypt for the promised land with Moses, God revealed Himself as Yahweh Rophe or Jehovah Rapha, “The Lord Who Heals.”

Join me for part seven of the miniseries “How God’s Name is Your Gain” as we dive into understanding how God wants to show up today in your life through His name Jehovah Rapha.

Listen in to learn:

  • The healing ordinance that is in scripture
  • How crying out to the Lord may play a role in healing
  • The different types of healing
  • How God shows us how to walk out our healing
  • The purpose of miracles
  • Some of the sources of sickness

Key Verse:

“If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.” - Exodus 15:26

Favorite Quotes:

"He wants to do the same things that He did back in biblical times TODAY because He hasn't changed!" - Tiffany Jo Baker

"God has come to heal all the things, not just our bodies... we need healing and deliverance from sin, sickness, soul, demonic oppression and death... it's a part of our benefits as children of God and part of the abundant life Jesus came to give us on this earth." - Tiffany Jo Baker

01 Sep 2020014 The Great Missing Piece to Great Plans with Christa Hutchins00:12:58

“I’ve always wanted to…”

“That’s on my bucket list.”

“One day I will…”

These are things I hear over and over. God made us with specific purposes, desires and dreams to fulfill. The thing is, He won’t make us actually do them. With all the options and obstacles, what is the difference between someone who just talks about it and someone who actually takes steps to do it?

This week Tiffany Jo Baker is joined by Christa Hutchins, a coach and project manager who equips communicators and leaders to turn their big ideas into a successful ministry or business. Together they tackle how accountability is the great missing piece to all our great plans.

Through this episode you will learn:

· How accountability helps us stay on track to see our dreams and goals come true

· What makes a great accountability partner

· The differences between a cheerleader, tough grace and a drill sergeant

· Where to find the right accountability partner

Key Verse:

"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me - watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you.” – Matthew 11:28-29 (The Message)

Favorite Quotes of the Episode:

“Accountability gives us the day to day motivation to do the thing.” – Christa Hutchins

30 Dec 2024120 - Protecting Moms and Babies with Melissa Heiland00:21:09

There is an age-old agenda to steal, kill and destroy. It started to be seen way back in Genesis and has continued throughout time. Although it has been masqueraded to look different ways, at its roots it has always had the same goals and we have all been affected by it. Many of its efforts have been in an attempt to devalue human life. One way that has played out is through abortion. We are surrounded by people, both men and women, who have been carrying deep wounds from the choice to abort. Listen today as Tiffany Jo Baker speaks with Melissa Heiland of Beautiful Feet International. Melissa shares some beautiful ways they come alongside those that find themselves pregnant, scared, confused, and hurting in order to bring healing and hope even in the most remote and lonely places of the world.

Listen in for:

  • How propaganda has misled us all
  • God's heart for every person
  • What we can do to help

16 Jan 2023076 - The Top 3 Joy Killers00:17:16

Twenty-seven percent of Americans said they couldn’t remember what it meant to be truly happy (Oracle, 2022).

Life has hit a lot of us by storm. The world-wide shortages, conspiracies, and epidemics have left so many fearful and isolated. Our pastor shared this weekend that 1/3 of Christians haven’t returned to church since the pandemic.

I have yet to meet someone who has said, “I’m good. I have all the joy I need.”

The world needs more joy.

I need more joy.

You need more joy.

The truth is, joy is a weapon that God has given us to live on this earth. It is a fruit of our relationship with the Holy Spirit. There is no wonder why it is attacked and satan tries to steal our joy. Today I’m talking about the top three joy killers.

Listen in to learn:

  • How psychology and the bible agree on joy
  • The lifestyle that supports happiness
  • What is trying to steal your joy

Favorite Quote:

“Happiness is actually a skill that can be developed.” – Tiffany Jo Baker

Key Verses:

“…for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” – Nehemiah 8:10

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” – Galatians 5:22-23

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” - Hebrews 10:24-25

Ephesians 4:31-32

22 May 2023085 - The Power of Jesus' Questions to Fill Our Uncertain Soul00:23:53

Ever find your soul questioning your faith? It’s ok, God isn’t scared of and doesn’t look down on our questions. He actually uses them to draw us closer to Him just like Jesus did almost 2000 years ago. We can see His heart and skill in the 300+ questions of His throughout the New Testament. Today we are going to tackle the purpose and power behind the questions with speaker, comedian, and professor, Amberly Neese.

 Listen in to learn:

  • How my deepest questions of doubt can bring me closer to God
  • The ways Jesus used questions
  • What it means to untangle faith
  • The one question we need to answer

Favorite Quotes:

“Questioning was a delightful teaching strategy that Jesus employed to get his people thinking”. - Amberly Neese

“I think it's so underutilized in the church. I think many of us were sold the bill of goods that good Christian girls don't ask questions when I'm like, if I want to be like Jesus, he asked questions.” - Amberly Neese

“If we know who we are, and we know who He is, that solves almost everything. We can then weather the storm well.” - Tiffany Jo Baker

Key Verse:

“But what about you?” He asked. “Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” – Matthew 16:15-15 (NIV)

Have you ever felt that you were dealing with some kind of darkness?

Today we are continuing our conversation on what to do when there is a hell-hold on your life. My friend and often prayer partner, Tee Jay Henderson is back with us for part two.  “It’s so easy to stay in our little bubble of what we think churches are, and just maintaining a comfortable chaos. Satan wants us to stay there.” - Tiffany Jo Baker

You wake up with the best of intentions... to grab a cup of coffee, bible and devotional and head to a quiet cozy corner to spend some time getting filled before you start your day…But then something happens. Something always seems to happen.

You know how much better you feel when you start your day off with Jesus, but interruptions and real life make it almost impossible to get in a daily devotional routine that works. You aren’t alone, in the US only 35% have some sort of weekly devotional time relative to their faith and religion.

Listen in to learn:

  • The obstacles people-focused and project-focused women face to quiet time

03 Jul 2023088- Three Ways to Set Your Kids Up For Success with Trinity Baker00:13:54

Parenting in this day and age can seem daunting. While we are in the thick of it, it can be hard to know if what we are doing is making a positive difference. So I decided to ask our oldest, who is about to start her senior year of college, what we did as parents that helped her. We could’ve spent a series on what we did wrong, but today we focused on the three things that we did that our daughter, Trinity Baker, felt has helped to set her up for success. My prayer is that you will be encouraged in what you are doing right too!

Listen in for:

  • Practical parenting to-do’s that make a difference
  • How to balance being responsible and being a kid
  • Encouragement for the day-in and day-out

30 Jan 2023077 - How Satan Uses FOMO to Fail Marriages00:17:30

The original tactic of Satan was to make Adam and Eve think they were missing out. He is using that same old lie today, making spouses think that the grass is greener on the other side of their marriage. Today Tiffany Jo Baker and Brian, her husband of 22 years are discussing how Satan uses FOMO, the fear of missing out, to fail marriages.

Listen in to learn:

  • How FOMO and sin have been connected since The Garden of Eden
  • The comparison trap
  • Why vicious cycles in marriage often start with a lie
  • How to deal with FOMO

Favorite Quote:

“The lie that the enemy continuously pitches to us since all the way back to the Garden of Eden is “You are missing out.” – Brian Baker

Key Verses:

“Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, ‘Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?’ ‘You will not certainly die,’ the serpent said to the woman.  ‘For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.’ - Genesis 3:1-2, 4-5

03 Jan 2022049 The Struggle with Self-Care with Amanda Runnels00:17:21

We are facing a national mental health crisis that has the potential of causing chaos for years to come. The 2020 Stress in America report shows that nearly 8 in 10 Americans have said that the current pandemic is a significant stressor in their life. This along with politics, economy, healthcare, natural disasters, schooling issues, and more have resulted in an uncertain future. The stressors have resulted in high levels of reported negative behavior, tension in their bodies, “snapping” or getting angry quickly, unexpected moods swings, and yelling at loved ones.

Like never before we need to learn how to care for our spirit, soul and body. Today, I am going to tackle the struggle with self-care with one of my BF’s IRL Amanda Runnels, the coach and champion for whole-istic Christ-centered health behind the blog Unrefined Junkie.

Listen in to learn:

  • The clues that you might need self-care
  • Why self-care isn’t indulgent or selfish
  • How to reprioritize your well being
  • Indicators that what you are doing for self-care isn’t working
  • Simple budget and time friendly self-care strategies

Favorite Verse:

“So God’s rest is there for people to enter, but those who first heard this good news failed to enter because they disobeyed God.” – Hebrews 4:6

Favorite Quotes:

“Our body will yell at us…if we aren’t hearing the whispers of needing to stop and take care of ourselves.” – Tiffany Jo Baker

“Self-care at its most basic form is maintenance – We maintain our cars, home and appliances, why wouldn’t we maintain ourselves?” – Amanda Runnels

31 Jan 2022051 The Comparison Struggle with Heather Creekmore00:19:48

You know how it is… a woman walks into the room, posts on social media, or shows up at the PTA meeting and we immediately look her up and down, make assumptions, and begin to make comparisons between her life and ours in our head. I’m not sure how or when that ever started, but the struggle is real.

Today we tackle The Comparison Struggle with Heather Creekmore, the author of The Burden of Better: How a Comparison-Free Life Leads to Joy, Peace, and Rest. Heather has been featured on Fox News, Huff Post and more, but she's best recognized from her appearance as a contestant on the Netflix hit show, Nailed It.

Listen in to learn:

  • Tactics for dealing with comparison
  • The dangers and effects of comparison
  • How comparison is really envy
  • What a comparison vs grace-filled life looks like
  • How grace is the answer for comparison and envy
  • How the hustle to chase vain idols and goals doesn’t really satisfy

Favorite Verse:

Those who pay regard to vain idols forsake their hope of steadfast love.” Jonah 2:8

Favorite Quotes:

We can compare our bodies, our husbands, and what 40 looks like on her and what 40 looks like on me and it is never going to look the same. In the process we lose out on a lot of things and things are stolen from us when we compare.” – Tiffany Jo Baker

I’m trusting that You, God, have equipped me with everything I need physically to accomplish Your goal for my life.” – Heather Creekmore

For two decades she has been called to the intersection of faith, global health, and human dignity, to impact the care of babies, children, and adults in Kenya, many of whom have been on their deathbed from HIV. ·      Why we need both courage and compassion in community to love

·      What it costs and how to love well

·      How to stay willing and tenderhearted even in tough situations

·      Finding God’s goodness in the hard

14 Feb 2022052 The Struggle with Our Thought Life with Sarah Geringer00:18:29

Maybe your mind keeps replaying something a teacher said about you back in school. Maybe you tend to be a “the glass is half empty” type of gal. Maybe mentally you are your own worst critic. You wouldn’t be alone. According to the National Science Foundation, an average person has about 12,000 to 60,000 thoughts per day. Of those, 80% are negative and 95% are repetitive thoughts.

If this is the case, then there is no wonder that many people suffer from anxious or racing thoughts, negative self-talk, worry, and overthinking.

Today Sarah Geringer and I are going to tackle The Struggle with Our Thought Life. Sarah is a speaker, podcaster, and author of Transforming Your Thought Life: Christian Meditation in Focus.

Listen in to learn:

  • The power that thoughts have in our lives
  • How our actions are products of our thoughts
  • Why a negative thought life can be such a struggle
  • How to re-train and gain control of our thoughts so they can work for us

Favorite Verse:

“Set a guard over my mouth, Lord.” Psalm 141:3a

Favorite Quotes:

“Our actions start with thoughts first.” – Sarah Geringer

“I learned to take control of my thoughts by replacing them with scripture.” – Sarah Geringer

“If the Bible talks about having the mind of Christ, then that’s something that we all need… and that’s something that comes through spiritual disciplines and our choices.” – Tiffany Jo Baker

“When we are able to have the word of God hidden in our heart… that’s what comes out of us when life hits.” – Tiffany Jo Baker

03 May 2021029 The Overwhelmed Goal Getter Struggle00:07:21

There are two types of people...those that are natural go-getters AND those who don't see themselves that way.

I've talked to both kinds of people and realized that regardless of how they see themselves, everyone has hopes for some things to change for themselves or for others. Whether that desire comes from our head or our hearts, when we put action to it, we are a goal-getter.

There are many theories and techniques for goal setting that can leave us so overwhelmed that we don’t even know where to start or it’s so complicated we end up never using the system or making steps towards the goals we set up. So in today's episode, I share my super simple and most successful thing I have been doing with my hubby and kids for the last 10+ years to meet our goals.

Listen in to learn:

  • A simple strategy for individual and family goals
  • The SUV method of goal-setting
  • Why you are never too young or too old to start getting goals

Favorite Verse:

“And the Lord answered me: ‘Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it.’” Habakkuk 2:2

Favorite Quote:

Whether the goal comes from your head or you have hopes and desires that come from your heart, you can be a go-getter.

What does your name mean? This is a question I often ask people with unique names when we first meet. I love to hear the story behind their name.

Similarly, hidden within the stories of the Old and New Testaments, God shares His attributes, character and heart as some of our favorite biblical figures experience Him and reveal the names of God one by one. Join me in this new miniseries where episode by episode we dive deeper into the names of God and how His names are our gain!

Listen in to learn:

  • Why what we name our kids matters
  • How names functioned differently in Bible times than today
  • The power that comes from knowing the names of God

01 Aug 2022064 How God's Name is Your Gain (Pt6): Jehovah Jireh - The Lord Will Provide00:13:12

You may have heard and love the worship song “Jireh” by Elevation Worship and Maverick City Music, but do you know what Jireh, a name of God means?...

The Lord Will Provide.

Read that again. Better yet, say it out loud. “The Lord Will Provide.”

The name of God, Jehovah Jireh is first revealed in scripture through one of the most powerful stories in the Old Testament. Remember when Abraham and Sarah were given the promise to be parents, then found themselves way past what we know of as child-bearing years, yet God gave them a son? Years later God asked Abraham to sacrifice this beloved promised child.

Through what happens next, God revealed this favorite name of God.

Join me for part six of the miniseries “How God’s Name is Your Gain” as we dive into understanding how God wants to show up today in your life through His name Jehovah Jireh.

Listen in to learn:

  • The personal and sacred name of God that only priests used to say out loud
  • How God seeing us in the future plays a big role in this name and function
  • God’s just-at-the-nick-of-time timing for provision

Key Verse:

Abraham looked up and there in a thicket he saw a ram caught by its horns. He went over and took the ram and sacrificed it as a burnt offering instead of his son. So Abraham called that place “The LORD Will Provide.” And to this day it is said, “On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided.” – Genesis 22:13-14

Favorite Quotes:

“The Lord will provide. What a powerful, calming truth.” – Tiffany Jo Baker

“God sees what we need, sees where we are going, anticipates and provides. He leads us to the step by step obedience that leads to provision.” – Tiffany Jo Baker

25 Mar 2024107 - Exposing the Lies that Hold Back our Identity and Impact with Kelly Thompson00:23:48

It’s easy to get our identity from the labels that we have been given from others, our roles, ourselves, and our experiences. But are the labels you are living under true and accurate? If you look around at our culture today and the inner tension we are experiencing ourselves, you can see that there is a war on our identity. Satan tries to steal it by implanting lies about who we are early on, that get reinforced through people and circumstances throughout our life. These lies effect our impact. Today Tiffany Jo Baker and Kelly Thompson, the host of Genius in You Podcast and homeschool mom, dive into how lies and labels may be holding you back.

Listen in for:

  • Common lies and labels to lookout for
  • Where lies and labels come from
  • Why believing a lie robs you of more than you think
  • How to overcome attacks against your identity

Favorite Quotes:

The labels we are wearing don’t necessarily come from God… He has a plan for us, beyond who we think we are.” – Kelly Thompson

The enemy’s goal is to rob you of your legacy, by denying you your God-given identity.” – Kelly Thompson

When we come to a place of healing, to where we are operating no longer from a wound, but a scar, satan’s tactics are no longer effective and we can more quickly identify the attacks.” – Tiffany Jo Baker

“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” – John 10:27

20 Dec 2021048 The Struggle with What to Do with My Feelings with Jessica Hottle 00:17:08

We have thought for a long time that most human emotions fall within the general categories of happiness, sadness, anger, surprise, fear and disgust. In 2017 a study from UC Berkeley challenges this long-held assumption and found 27 distinct categories for emotions. Triggers and stimulus in our world lead us to experience a rollercoaster of emotions every. single. day. Emotions lead to our feelings. These feelings can show up in so many ways…So, what do we do with all of these feelings? Today I tackle what to do with all your feelings with Jessica Hottle, podcast host and best-selling author of Face Off with Your Feelings: Break Up with the Lies From Your Past and Embrace the Truth for Your Future.

Listen in to learn:

  • The difference between emotions and feelings
  • What causes our emotions and feelings
  • If we have any control over what we feel
  • The easiest place to intercept the trigger>emotion>feeling>reaction cycle
  • An example of a real world trigger to reaction cycle
  • What the Bible says about our feelings

Favorite Verse:

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” Philippians 4:8

Favorite Quotes:

I have to renew and rewire the beliefs I carry about the pain, that I carry about my life, about this situation, this circumstance.” – Jessica Hottle

What we meditate on is what grows and what we are giving fuel to is what we will focus on.” – Tiffany Jo Baker

24 Oct 2022070 The 1 Question to Ask Before Taking a Faith Leap00:13:49

Of all the times to start a podcast, God released me to do so mid-pandemic, in the fall of 2020 (along with 10's of thousands of other new podcasters:). I've enjoyed interviewing so many amazing people and even got out of my comfort zone to do a-mini series of solo episodes with just me through All the Things TV video podcast. Only 6% of podcasts survive past 10 episodes, so I'm thankful to still be going as we release episode 70 today with a facelift (new name and look) and a little heart change too (more defined focus).

Although I was a guest on dozens of podcasts prior to starting my own, I've learned so much while being a podcast host. I've been able to share timeless truths and simple nuggets to help you do all the things you've been called and created to do.

At the same time my family and I have been receiving some much needed inner healing and freedom ministry. We have seen God show up in some big ways as He peeled back and healed things layer by layer.

I've learned more about God's power and deliverance and His heart for the abundant and full life that Christ paid for and talks about in John 10:10 to be a reality in our lives.

That's part of the reason for the podcast name and more focused shift. I want to share more about living the FULL life that Jesus has for us (which is often very full and busy too!) and the things we need as we walk out His call and take faith leaps big and small along the way.

The goal of My Full Life + Faith Leaps podcast is for YOU to experience more of God's power and find rest in your purpose and progress.

Listen in as we kick it off with the 1 question you need to ask when taking a faith leap!

I pray that this podcast blesses and empowers your full life and faith leaps!

Would you do me a favor? Please share it with a friend or a loved one who is on the journey too!

10 Oct 2022069 How God's Name is Your Gain Pt 11: Yahweh Roi - The Lord is My Shepherd00:18:31

Quite possibly the most well-known Psalms of all times is Psalm 23.

I memorized it in Kindergarten at my Christian school and remember when my piano teacher had me recite it for a dad who was dropping of his child for the next lesson at her house. Years later she told me that the father later told her how much the Psalm I shared as a five-year old had touched him.

The premise of the famous Psalm is about God being our Shepherd and how that plays out in what He does in our everyday lives.

Listen in as I share about the three primary purpose of a shepherd:

  • Direction
  • Protection
  • Provision

Key Verse:

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” – Psalm 23:1

Favorite Quote:

"When you are praying to Yahweh Roi, you are calling on the Lord your Shepherd who watches over you day and night." - Tiffany Jo Baker

Join me for part 11, THE FINAL EPISODE of the miniseries “How God’s Name is Your Gain” as we dive into understanding how God wants to show up today in your life through His name Yahweh Roi - The Lord is My Shepherd.

19 Jul 2021037 The Codependency Struggle with Marissa McCrory00:15:26

Have you ever struggled with taking care of other people’s needs at the expense of caring for your own? Where does the line crossover between the nurturing and caregiving roles of a mother, wife and caregiver to the unhealthy struggles of a codependent relationship? Today we are tackling The Codependency Struggle with my friend Marissa McCrory of Soul Prosper ministries.

Listen in to learn:

  • How principles of Christianity can be manipulated into codependency
  • How God affirms women and their role throughout the Bible

Favorite Verses:

The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.  Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.” - Mark 12:29-31

12 Sep 2022067 How God's Name is Your Gain Pt9: Yahweh Shalom - The Lord Is Peace00:15:32

I know what it is like to have peace and I know what it is like to not.

Because of this every Thanksgiving we go around the table and say what we are thankful for. Nine times out of 10 I will say “peace.”

Peace is priceless.

If you are in a season where you lack the peace of God, take 15 minutes to dig in and get a dose of peace.

Join me for part nine of the miniseries “How God’s Name is Your Gain” as we dive into understanding how God wants to show up today in your life through His name Yahweh Shalom- The Lord is Peace.

Listen in to learn:

  • Why you can have peace even when things aren’t going good
  • How peace is an indicator and guidance tool
  • The depth of the true meaning of shalom peace

Key Verse:

Gideon asked for a sign. The angel delivered (touched the meat of his sacrifice and fire flared from the rock) Gideon exclaimed, “Ah sovereign Lord I have seen the angel of the Lord face to face.” The Lord replied “PEACE. Do not be afraid. You are not going to die.”

So Gideon built an altar to the Lord there and called it The Lord is peace.” Judges 6:24

03 Nov 2020023 The Challenges of Saying Yes with Sarah Birkbeck00:15:01

What is God nudging your heart towards?

We all have them. Those desires and dreams deep down or maybe even bubbling to the surface in this season. It may be a vision for a healthy and connected family, a ministry or even a new way of doing something, but if you’ve even thought about moving towards it, you’ve probably already come up against a number of things that are holding you back from fully stepping out!

This week Tiffany is joined by friend, ministry leader and amazing activator of women, Sarah Birkbeck, to tackle and over-turn the challenges we face when saying yes to what God is nudging us towards.

Listen in to learn:

  • Why you are capable of more than you think
  • How God uses little “yes girl’s” to keep us going
  • The obstacles of comparison and perfectionism
  • If you more easily say “yes” or “no” to stepping out

Favorite Verse:

“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.” – Luke 16:10

Favorite Quotes:

Sometimes God will give you this big vision, but then He’ll give you a really small step.” – Sarah Birkbeck

“Comparison has really hurt us from stepping out.” – Sarah Birkbeck

“We have to be self-motivated and God-led to continue to do what God has told us to do because it’s so easy to put it down.” – Tiffany Jo Baker

16 Aug 2021039 The Scared to Step Out Struggle with Angie Baughman00:17:46

As my hubby says…”some people are built for comfort, some are built for speed.” He meant this in an athletic sense, but I think this is also true in our go-getting and faith journey. We may have the God-given dream or desire, but we may be held back by overwhelm, stuck by fear, or too comfortable to make a move. Today we are going to tackle The Scared to Step Out Struggle with Angie Baughman, a pastor, Bible teacher and podcast host of Steady On.

Listen in to learn:

  • How good stuff can become an idol we hold onto
  • Why things that come easy to us can hold us back
  • The only question we need to ask before leaping
  • When to let go, lean in, and take the leap

Favorite Verses:

So he said to me, “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD Almighty. – Zechariah 4:6

Then Moses said to Him, “If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here. – Exodus 33:15

He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. – Psalm 40:2

Favorite Quotes:

“When we get too comfortable and it’s too easy, then it’s all about us and not about Him.” – Tiffany Jo Baker

“Will we trust Him with the pruning? The pruning is painful, but ultimately He says it will be more fruitful.” – Angie Baughman
