Mike highlights some of his favorite prospects that he has recently watched (Malachi McKinnon, Max Candon, Harper Searles, Caden Zasada, and Jaxon Sibell).

Mike also chats about a star sighting at the Casey Musgraves Concert at the Xcel Energy Center.

Mike and Dave discuss the first Division 1 games in the history of the University of St. Thomas… The guys breakdown their thought about the opening series against St. Cloud, the #2 rated team in the country… The guys also chat about The St. Thomas Women’s team first D1 win in schools history.

Jayson Shaugaby Minnesota Mr. Hockey? Mike and Dave (and most of Minnesota) think so and talk why he will win the award in March. The guys also chat About a few 2007's trending upward and go over Class AA and A Rankings.

Mike and Dave discuss the attributes of 2022 NHL Draft prospect Connor Kurth. The Future Minnesota Gopher completed his career in Dubuque of the USHL with 50 goals and 72 assists for 122 points in 114 games. He notched 81 points (35 goals and 46 assists) in 62 games this past season.

Kurth was named the 2022 Dave Tyler Junior Player of the Year, given the most outstanding American-born player in junior hockey. Kurth is in good company as former number 1 pick Jack Hughes, Kyle Connor, Tucker Poolman, Blake Coleman, and Joe Pavelski are just a couple of the players that have won the award.

Mike and Dave chat about the players that impressed them from the Moose Goheen Bantam AA Tournament in White Bear Lake.
