I used to use stress, worry and anxiety to motivate myself. To push myself to do hard things. Historically, this is the only way I knew how to go for ambitious goals...how to bring a big project to completion. This forced motivation through stress and worry works temporarily. The problem is the journey is like 99.999% of this thing we're all doing. I've found that the brief moment when you've finally arrived at the crescendo of your goal or project is pretty fleeting. I started asking myself: How can I enjoy that 99.999% while not relinquishing my ambition?
