We all suffer with changing hormones- its bloody hard work being a woman!!

Whilst in the gym yesterday I came up with a D that I want to focus on this year, and as the day progressed, I came up with another 2 D's that tie in pretty nicely!!
The 3 D's I am going to live by are: desire, decision, and determination.

I've been massively fan girling over Jamie Lee Curtis this week. At the age of 64, and working hard in her profession for nearly 25 years, she has just won her first Oscar. She (along with her co star Michelle Yeoh) is living proof that dreams can come true- but not necessarily overnight.
This episode has turned into a bit of an homage to the female winners of the Academy Awards but I have found it truly inspiring.

With so much comparisonitis nowadays thanks to media, our online activity etc, it's important to remember what amazing things you have in your life.
As I say in my intro every week ( well not every week because it's pre recorded, but you know!) we all have reasons to love the life we already have, regardless of what is going on, by finding the positives in it.
So I am offering 5 tips on how to Love Your Life.

This week I have been reflecting on some of the decisions I've made over the past year or so, and it's got me thinking about how I came to make those decisions.
When we make big decisions, like setting up a business or applying for a new job, whatever it may be, there are certain things that can hold us back and likewise, certain things that can propel us forwards.
Things like courage, self belief, ability to visualise/look forward to achieving your goal all give others confidence in believing in us too. But the biggest thing is trusting our intuition and having faith in the unseen powers, that's what ties everything together, in my opinion.

This week I'm discussing something that has been thoroughly researched in recent years but still some are reluctant to see the connection (I have family members that don't see it). The connection between the mind and body, and how unresolved traumas, or emotional discomforts, can present themselves as pain.

This week, in honour of World Mental Health day, I am talking about the stage between good and poor mental health, and how we can try to maintain a good level of mental health.
If you're a regular listener then you'll know that recently I've talked about how working in line with our feminine energy and the seasons of the year can enhance our experience, so in todays episode I talk about how NOT doing this can have an impact on our mental health, as can not working with our menstrual cycle.
But the overall message, I'm sure we can all agree, is that the best thing to do when your mental health is feeling vulnerable, is to talk to someone. Whoever that is.

It's Anti Bullying Awareness week here in the UK, and given that I have experience of this, it would be irresponsible of me not to use my platform to speak up.

Earlier this week I acknowledged that I needed a reset. But the type of reset I actually was different to the one I thought.

It's what helps us learn and grow, so why do we feel, even when it's an unintentional mistake, do we feel the need to hold on to the negative emotions that come with it?

I'm starting from the beginning! The first of all the chakras- the Root Chakra.
It's centred around safety, security, survival. If our basic needs are not met then we remain in fight or flight which causes the chakra to become blocked. If we feel a disconnect between our selves and the earth, this too causes it to become blocked.

Welcome to the final instalment in the chakra series! The 7th chakra, the crown chakra (Sahasrara), is all about the spiritual wold, a higher level of thinking, and enlightenment.
It's the 7th because it's the last to be worked on. You must focus on the other 6 in order to activate the Crown, which makes it really special.
