Where Lis and Claire talk a brilliant weekend of rugby. The Under18s won the Premiership Rugby League Under 18s Final playing some scintillating rugby. Bedford Blues won the Battle of Bedfordshire. And after a convincing win against Nottingham, the rugby Gods smiles on the Saints so we now have a home quarter final to look forward to. We revel in the internet melt down as the masses tried to predict what would happen next. We have one of the funniest pieces of content from the Saints where Fin Smith boggles at the ratings he is given in the new Rugby 25 game. We thing Mr Angry probably exploded at his speed score whilst Big Trev revealed his new skill as a kicker!


We talk England, England A and England Under 20s as the Saints takeover continues. And we have sheep news from Kev!


We do award more than one LPW Player of the Match and the Sgt Wilson award. And we wonder why Mr Dependable’s Dad is playing in midfield and when the real Mr Dependable will return?

Where Lis and Claire talking about a great weekend of rugby where all three of our teams won and Towcester had a great time training. We start with the fabulous win under the lights where Saints produced a scintillating half of rugby followed by Claire getting one of her favourite celebration photos in the second half. We talk cake and pikelettes as Lis has done an important delivery. We name our LWP Player of the Match (rightly we recognise a fine young player!) and we name our Sgt Wilson  award for outstanding engagement with the referee winner - a first time for a young player in the pack. 


We applaud Lightning’s first win and we talk Ladies Day at Bedford Blues which was a great win followed by a lot of fun at the auction. Harry does a great report from Towcester. It’s a packed episode as usual!

We celebrate that fine win for the Blues where Louis Haley made a wonderful debut. We also, celebrate the Saints’ lads contribution to that comprehensive win in Wales where our Henry had a dream start to his England career. We name our Ladies Wot Pod Player of the Match for the Bedford game whilst Lis’ goes left field again for the Sgt Wilson award. 


Meanwhile, Harry gives a report on Towcester Under 10s and his Mum decides to join in on the family interruptions routine…

Claire had a new bib and talked carpet with Tom Lockett. She also noticed Fergs’ plan to get Mr Dependable into the front row. We choose our LWP Player of the Match and Lis’ goes really radical with the Sgt Wilson Award.


In other news, Claire congratulates a new photographer who shot her first game for Lightning at Kingsholm. Lis is back playing walking rugby.

here Lis and Claire talk all about the games from this weekend from the Under 20s to the Premiership Rugby Cup to the Six Nations. We bring Sheep News from Kev Buckby the Kitman. Bedford Blues beat Bristol Bears in the PRC and Claire had a celebratory hug from a certain Director of Rugby! Meanwhile, at the Gardens it was the Community day and what a great day was had by all - congratulations to everyone at the Saints - top job! It was a great win for the Saints lads against a tough Coventry side. And at last the Ladies Wot got their wish as Fin and Mitch played together in an England shirt as Saints beat France at HQ.


We have an update from Towcester. We look forward to next weekend including the Under 18s who are again in the Final - Claire will be there!

We talk about Saints trip to Salford and the remarkable performance of one particular Saints player, Henry Pollock. We also, recognise the efforts of the two Saints scrum halves who covered the fly half role. We again talk about refereeing and the inconsistent use of the TMO and the time it’s taking to review things. We award the Sgt Wilson award to a man who calmed the referee with his dulcet Geordie tones. And no awards for guessing who gets LWP Player of the match. And Claire says thank you to a Saints prop who gallantly stepped up to help her on Friday.


We talk about Bedford Blues brilliant win at Goldington - what a performance from Will Maisey and our newest lock, Ed Prowse. We do a roundup of the Women’s Six Nations.


Claire talks about Bloodgate, the new podcast from the BBC about Harlequins in 2009 - she chatted to Alastair Eykyn about the podcast and her tiny part in the story.

Liz is the Team Media manager who works closely with the press whilst Lizzie is the Team manager managing the logistics of the players and on match day gets the joy of sitting in the weather, working with the officials and opposition team. 


It’s a fascinating insight into a world that most supporters never see. We learn about medals and who gets them (including which player is keen for his to arrive), we hear trauma for both Liz and Jack Miller during that Final, Lis and I learn what those Investec Zebras are actually called. And we learn of a Towcester connection between Lizzie and Harry!
