Kenny Fresh has created a space to give the listening audience great content. Through the growing record label Fresh Selects to his weekly radio show Tight Songs. In July I had an opportunity to host Neill Von Tally and Martlell Webster of Eyrst on the Welcome to the Neighborhood radio show in preparation for the Eyrst Label Launch event. As often happens, at the end of the show more great stories were being told, so I asked Neill if he’d be down to connect for more conversation. The Portland based rapper has been making moves for almost 2 decades from representing the city on BET 106 & Park to performing here in his home town. I've been a fan of Matt Nelkin, owner of Liquid Beat Records, for as long as I've been building with the Portland music scene. Liquid Beat has consistently put out great releases through the years from the re-interpretation of the Esther Williams classic "Last Night Changed It All" by the Love Loungers to projects with veteran emcee Libretto. Portland Oregon Emcees 2 Reps have been on the scene for a minute. They join the Klyph Notes podcast and give us a sense of they're journey from grade school up and comers to sharing the screen and stage with Snoop Dog and Mike Epps. They also share the release date for the long awaited mixtape.

He was a central figure in a brutal attack on the train in Portland Oregon that saw two individual lose their lives.
