09 Sep 2019 | You Are Here - Here to Speak | 00:42:12
We all want to leave the world a better place by making a positive impact in our world and in the lives of those around us. But how much influence do we really have? Most of us don’t feel that powerful or that we have much to offer. The truth is, however, we are each more powerful than we think. God has given all of us resources and opportunities to be used in our circle of influence. We are each uniquely positioned to make a difference. The choice is ours.
21 Nov 2019 | Counterfeit - Feelings | 00:49:14
We’re all looking for joy and fulfillment, but the pace and pressure of life can make it difficult to experience. When we look to things to bring us the sense of lasting satisfaction we crave and they don’t solve our problems, it can cause us to feel even more discouraged and disappointed. What if we can learn to see the differences between counterfeit joy and the real thing?

26 Sep 2019 | Objects In Motion - Acts 4:1-22 | 00:46:05
Since the very beginning of Christianity, Jesus has invited people to be a part of a community called the church. But today, we can mean very different things when we say “church.” To some, church is a building where certain events happen. Others think of church like a shopping center for the religious goods and services they want to take part in. It’s possible for some people to talk about church like a club, while others think of it as a cause. So, should we think of church as a meeting, a market, or a movement?

06 Feb 2020 | God Is Changing Your Choices pt. 2 | 00:32:16
When you were a child what did you dream of becoming when you grew up? Did it ever cross your mind that you wanted to be more like Jesus? The story of the Bible actually explains that you were designed to be a physical representation of God in the world. Unfortunately, we all get that wrong early and often in life, but God is not finished with us. He wants to make us into something. He has far greater plans for you than you could ever have on your own. God loves you as you are. God saves you as you are. But God doesn’t leave you as you are.

24 Feb 2020 | Trellis and the Vine: Church Leadership | 00:39:51
The early days of the church were an organic viral movement. However they got to the point that without structure, the church would’ve stalled out because of lack of leaders to advance the mission, been susceptible to false teaching and lost its way, or it may have fizzled as a regional momentary movement. Instead, God used leadership to advance the mission to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8).⠀

10 Feb 2021 | Worship in the Wilderness // The Worship Crisis | 00:43:16
Everybody’s life story begins somewhere, and once a person begins telling their story, we are immediately transported to the past and introduced to the people, places, and events that have shaped them into the person they are today. The same logic applies to knowing who we are as God’s people today. We don’t truly understand who we are as the church of Jesus Christ unless we know our own story, and this “life story” of God’s people extends all the way back beyond the time of Jesus and into the Old Testament period. One of the defining moments in God’s great story is Exodus, a story of redemption which shaped the identity of God’s people throughout the ages.

It’s easy to get discouraged by what happens in the world and in our personal lives. But Christ's resurrection is proof that God hasn’t left us alone in our circumstances. Jesus, God’s Son, has come into this world to restore us to what God created us to be in the first place. Knowing him doesn’t just make us better versions of our old selves, through Jesus, God is making all things new.
