Well nerds, we did, welcome to the 100th episode of Into The Wild.

There are many ways I could have celebrated this podcast milestone. A best of episode? A chat with one of my nature hero's? Heck, maybe even a live video episode......instead I decided to do what this London nature nut does best....I got drunk with some pals.

It's one thing to want wildlife, especially the big mega fauna like lions, tigers & leopards, to thrive & do well in the wild, but it's another to stop & consider what will happen if their populations grow alongside human populations. It's no secret that ever since humans have been on this planet, we have needed to use forests to survive. Whether that be for firewood, shelter or food, the forests we've lived in or around have provided for us, but how does this look in the year 2023?

In this episode Ryan & Nadia explore the history of forestry in the UK & then journey to Namibia, Nepal & Guyana to learn about community forestry & the systems these countries have created to sustainably managed their forests, restore biodiversity & of course, support the communities that rely on them.
